I use TextExpander with my staff to help with emails, which saves time on writing extensive and repetitive emails. I like how easy it is to use, with a simple visual presentation. The abbreviations cannot be turned off on a per snippet group. Since sharing access of group names enables the abbreviations to apply for all, it captures those abbreviations I do not need for a time period; example is when I'm on chat and I accidentally clicked on some characters I didnt know a colleague who owns a group I can access to have set a TE for it, the abbreviations auto populate even when I don't need it. I love being able to create snippets really quickly and shortcuts that I can remember. I also like that I can use TextExpander across multiple devices with everything synchronized in one place. The setup was really easy and intuitive, and I was up and running really quickly. The iOS functionality means I don't have to wait to respond to direct messages just on my laptop. I've used TextExpander for several years, and can't begin to imagine how much time it saves me. I use it every day, and when I am at another computer without it, I am frustrated continually when shortcuts that have become ingrained in my fingers don't work! They keep adding features (I especially love the recently added hotkey to search from where you're writing!).
