I like your search tool because it supports regular expressions. Another feature that is your compilation option. I also like their tools to autocomplete words and exchange characters, since I can write quickly write the lines of code. **What do you dislike about Textadept?** I would like the interface to have a more attractive design, without losing its qualities of course, but I think the options should be located in a more comfortable way for the user, so that it is easier to memorize where they are. **Recommendations to others considering Textadept:** It is an easy tool to learn how to use, configure and customize. Textadept has add-ons that make the software really complete. I strongly recommend that you implement this text editor. **What problems is Textadept solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Textadept as a text editor for our software solutions, we have installed some syntax highlighting and autocomplete plugins to facilitate coding. It is also enormously beneficial to run the programs directly from your compiler. ### 2. It has an elegant and customizable user interface that can be run on Windows, MacOS and Linux. What I like most is that it also has a terminal version. I also like that I can configure it to my liking through add-ons to achieve infinite extensibility. **What do you dislike about Textadept?** What I like least is that the terminal version of Textadept lacks a division of vertical and horizontal views. In addition, keyboard shortcuts can have confusing combinations that are at least not difficult to reallocate. **Recommendations to others considering Textadept:** I recommend the use of Textadept if you want to have all the freedom to personalize your work environment. This editor will allow you to carry out the development of your projects with ease. It can be used in specific or generic programming languages. **What problems is Textadept solving and how is that benefiting you?** Textadept has an API called Lua, which allows me to easily create scripts. In addition, I can customize your GUI through add-ons by adapting this tool to my liking. I have also benefited from its autocomplete functions to make code writing faster. ### 3. I love its preview function, so I can see the code of the whole file and access it easily. I like your library of plugins, which allow me to customize the editor. The accessibility of the user platform, which allows the development of several programming languages such as CSS, HTML or JS at the same time, is another of the most important features of this software. **What do you dislike about Textadept?** What I did not like about the application is that it does not have a GUI to change the keyboard shortcuts, I must do it manually. It is also an inconvenience if the add-ons are updated incorrectly since the program must be uninstalled and installed again losing all the configurations. **Recommendations to others considering Textadept:** Textadept is easy to use and your customization options will enchant you. I consider it an opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of open source and explore the different opportunities it offers. I recommend using this editor to take advantage of the large number of add-ons. **What problems is Textadept solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Textadept to simultaneously develop HTML, CSS and JS code. The most important benefit at the enterprise level has been that we have replaced a paid editor with a free and open source editor.
