## About TestResults
TestResults is an enterprise software test automation platform that uses computer vision and deep learning to interact with applications like a human user - by looking at the screen, not by reading code or hidden element IDs. Unlike traditional test automation tools relying on object identifiers, XPath selectors, or API hooks, TestResults uses a locally deployed AI model to visually recognize UI elements and understand their context. This means tests remain stable even when the underlying code, element IDs, or UI layout change between releases. Who is it for? TestResults is built for organizations needing to test multiple technologies within a single workflow: A test case can move from a web browser to a desktop application, a mainframe terminal, SAP, and end by validating a PDF - all in one sequence, using the same automation approach. Users: The platform is designed for both technical and non-technical users. Test cases are created using natural language instructions instead of code. This allows business analysts, domain experts, and QA professionals to build and maintain automation without developer support. Key capabilities include: - Visual, AI-driven element recognition across web, desktop, mobile, mainframe, SAP, Citrix/VDI, and embedded systems - without needing access to the application's source code or server settings. - A centralized screen model where UI changes are updated once and automatically reflected across all test cases referencing the affected element reduces maintenance overhead. - Built-in compliance reporting with audit-proof, revision-safe documentation of every test step, designed to meet regulatory standards (eg. FINMA, BAIT, SOX, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, IEC 62304, ISO 13485). Flexible deployment options: fully on-premise, European cloud, or hybrid setups, with RBAC, SSO, and full data residency control. CI/CD Integration: TestResults integrates with all common CI/CD pipelines and test management tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, XRay, and Jenkins via REST API. Who is using TestResults? TestResults is used by enterprise teams in financial services, healthcare, and other regulated industries where test stability, cross-platform coverage, and audit readiness are critical. 86% of teams who evaluate TestResults end up buying it, and 97% recommend it.

## TestResults Reviews
 ### 1. Perfect Fit for Automations in VDI Environments with Impressive Stability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 31, 2025

**What do you like best about TestResults?**

For us it is the perfect fit as it supports our VDI-only infrastructure as well as all of our applications. From my experience it really is a one-solution fits it all automation product as I can automate any of our applications now that I've learned about visual cues and how to use them. This saves a lot of time and automating tests for a new application is a matter of days instead of weeks or months we previously had.

The stability of the execution is impressive. The approach is radically different and allows changes in the UI without any maintenance required. I love the domain object driven approach in which we don't need to try to find identifiers for fields but can model our domain objects and TestResults takes care of finding the correct fields.

Implementation was done by the TestResults team as part of a PoC within a week. We provided some input on security and enterprise readiness. With all of our points being address within 3 months after PoC I would also like to say, that this tool now fits in our secured enterprise environment.

G2 asked for frequency of use: Daily.

**What do you dislike about TestResults?**

As the approach is radically different, I really had to reset my way of automation. It is easy now, but when I first started it took me two days to really get started. Support and training was good, and I love the approach now, but again, be aware, you need to re-think. What worked for me: Start fresh, don't try to build on existing know-how.

**What problems is TestResults solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems solved:
- Automating our applications in the VDI infrastructure without having any kind of agent/runner/... installed on the actual systems
- Allowing us to automate complex workflows, e.g., 14 different applications (native, web, mobile) in one workflow within the same test and with the same tool
- Simplification of our tool landscape
- Tremendous increase in stability of our automated tests.
- Far less maintenance than before

Benefits:
- We can automate more and faster thanks to the reduced maintenance effort
- On-boarding of new engineers went down from weeks to days
- Complete compliance with our security requirements, incl. full audit log
- Reduced infrastructure effort (updates, hosting, etc)

 ### 2. Extremely fast learning curve and stable, efficient test automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2025

**What do you like best about TestResults?**

Quick learning curve. 2 test cases with 50 steps each and about 20 screens, I automated in 3 days. Without prior knowledge of TestResults. And the tests are now running stably. Before, 3-4 out of 10 executions failed, with TestResults there wasn't a single flaky test run. And the execution time has been halved. A test case that previously took 10 minutes to execute now runs through in less than 5 minutes with TestResults.

**What do you dislike about TestResults?**

One must rethink, as automation works quite differently than with the frameworks I am familiar with. But the learning curve is very fast.

**What problems is TestResults solving and how is that benefiting you?**

After a major update of the fraud detection software, all 120 end-to-end test cases no longer worked, even though the application still looked the same. The UI engine was replaced and the HTML elements were no longer identifiable. We needed a test framework that would still function with such changes in the purchased software.

 ### 3. Intuitive, Evolving, and Backed by Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2025

**What do you like best about TestResults?**

I‘m using TestResults on a daily basis since two years already and I love how the functions got expanded since then. It‘s very intuitive to use, so we never had struggles onboarding new users at our company. Last but no least, I highly appreciate their top notch support, within a couple of hours I‘m getting the help I need.

**What do you dislike about TestResults?**

It‘s not always easy to understand the reason behind when something is not working.

**What problems is TestResults solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation of end to end business processes at a large company with over 10 applications.

 ### 4. Effortless Test Automation for Everyone, No Coding Needed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2025

**What do you like best about TestResults?**

Easy to use. Robust. Anyone can use it (prompting to automate test cases step by step). No programming required.

**What do you dislike about TestResults?**

Everything can be tested but Windows machine needed for automating test cases.

**What problems is TestResults solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can automate e2e functional testing of web, desktop, mobile, API, all of our applications. Performance and stability testing can be performed with the same functional test case.

 ### 5. Quicker, Better, Faster Test Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bradley N. | Lead QA Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2025

**What do you like best about TestResults?**

The best thing for me about TestResults.io is that I was looking for something that was as flexible and in depth as Selenium but without all the time in upkeep of test scripts every time a change/update was made on a page. TestResults.io did this for me. I was able to get up and running in no time as well as receive top notch support.

**What do you dislike about TestResults?**

One thing that I would like to see a little easier to change is Test Case names. Sometimes you accidentally have a naming convention that needs to be changed, or a test case name is too similar to another. Maybe I'm not up to speed with the best way to do it but it would be nice to make a change in the Test Case Designer and have it make the changes to all the necessary places downstream.

**What problems is TestResults solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TestResults.io has made automating on the fly easy and maintaining my test suite even easier. In the project I was just involved in I was able to use TestResults.io to create a Regression Suite that I ran basically everyday as we were doing continuous deliveries and deployments.

 ### 6. Visual steering = 💙

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about TestResults?**

What they call "visual steering" is really helpful, because when we make changes in our websites their product can still test everything. I.e. the logic doesn't break. Their team helped us onboard quickly and get value from the product very fast.

**What do you dislike about TestResults?**

It's Windows only (no Mac)... but I guess that's fine

**What problems is TestResults solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testing our marketing websites and mini-tools

 ### 7. Intuitive Test Automation with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about TestResults?**

As a financial enterprise with over 500 employees, we use testresults.io for our automated testing — with great success. The platform stands out with its intuitive user interface, which enabled our embedded testers to become productive in a very short time. The learning curve was minimal, and the efficiency gains were significant.

A key requirement for us was the integration into our existing systems under strict security standards. testresults.io met these requirements to our complete satisfaction — both technically and conceptually.

What truly sets testresults.io apart is its support: fast, competent, and solution-oriented. Every inquiry was met with a reliable and practical response. That’s exactly what we expect from a partner at the enterprise level.

**What do you dislike about TestResults?**

The only drawback we've experienced is the dependency on Microsoft Visual Studio. This introduces some additional effort in terms of Microsoft support coordination and license management, which needs to be accounted for

**What problems is TestResults solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TestResults.io solves the challenge of maintaining reliable, end-to-end automated testing in complex, regulated environments. In our case as a financial enterprise, we benefit from its ability to simulate real user interactions at the UI level — requiring minimal access to internal code — which is essential for validating mission-critical applications.

Additionally, its strong support for security and compliance aligns well with our industry’s regulatory requirements, making it a valuable part of our QA infrastructure.

When we were looking for a new tool, we chose TestResults.io because it offers IQ/OQ licenses. These licenses were crucial for us as they best meet our requirements in the field.

During the migration, it became clear that the tests with TestResults.io now run much faster (up to 40% faster in some cases) than with the previous automation tool. This leads to significantly higher efficiency in test executions in the field.

**What do you dislike about TestResults?**

At the moment, I have no comment/remarks on that.

**What problems is TestResults solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Licenses suitable for our test execution bring certain efficiency in test execution

 ### 10. A Robust Tool for Image-Based Recognition in Seemingly Simple, Yet Difficult-to-Model Scenarios

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2025

**What do you like best about TestResults?**

TestResults.io offers strong capabilities for image-recognition-based automation use cases. It stands out from competitors by using a feature-rich and widely known scripting/programming language, making it easy for developers familiar with .NET environments to get started with test automation.

**What do you dislike about TestResults?**

While generally effective, object recognition can show occasional inconsistencies

**What problems is TestResults solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lack of object recognition capabilities for the desktop technologies we use.

 ### 11. Very user-friendly tool to test UI of a tool or software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2023

**What do you like best about TestResults?**

It is user-friendly and with a quick learning success. Even non-experienced users can automate their first steps with TestResults quite quickly. TestResults.io is very flexible, offers a very good customer support and for many problems in automation a corresponding solution. TestResult can be easily integrated into a company and once the test cases have been set up, the tests can be executed with a high frequency.

**What do you dislike about TestResults?**

Nothing is coming to my mind at the moment.

**What problems is TestResults solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With TestReults we can test and validate our application fully in a short period of time and at a much higher frequency than was previously the case.
