The tests are well-explained, UI is well integrated and definitive, and the overall experience of a test is vivid and detailed.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

There is nothing notably bad about Testlify so far.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The fact that testing process can take a lot of time. Testlify has helped smoothen the testing process, and the convenience of being able to take the test at a comfortable time with instructions explained to me on a step-by-step process before anything begins is very helpful!

 ### 2. Testlify Makes Assessments Easy with Written and Video Responses—Even on Mobile

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mhel N. | HR, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

What I like most about Testlify is that it combines written responses with spoken/video responses, and it also gives you the option to use your mobile device.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

So far, I’m satisfied and can’t really point to anything I don’t like about Testlify.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If a company is busy and doesn’t have a stable or strong recruitment team, I believe this platform is very useful. It helps manage time, money, and effort, and it can identify the best candidate who fits their requirements.

 ### 3. Simplifies Onboarding with Multilingual Potential

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** vanessa nelly M.

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I find Testlify to be a wonderful platform for my daily activities as a manager in customer success. It offers added value and enhances client interactions which I really enjoy. I like how easy it is to use for everyone, from teenagers to adults. It's quite easy to understand and integrates well with my daily routine and team training. I also appreciate how Testlify assists in making the settlement process smoother for my team, saving me a lot of time. Introducing my team to Testlify has been amazing because it's straightforward and effective.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

I think it can be improved to have customer guides because my native language is Spanish. The English version is amazing for me. However, it could be more useful for people if the assessments were released in both English and Spanish.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testlify resolves resolution problems and is an incredible tool that helps me solve all my issues at work. It's user-friendly for everyone, from teenagers to adults, which makes it easy to use daily with my team.

**Official Response from Anuraag Surany Raman:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Testlify! We're thrilled to hear that our platform has added value to your daily activities as a customer success manager. ### 5. User-Friendly, But Needs a Tutorial

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fahad S. | Performance Marketer (Meta Ads)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I like Testlify for its clear and user-friendly assessment process. Its easy navigation and well-structured test format help me understand instructions quickly and focus on the test. The well-structured test format assists me in staying organized and managing my time better during the assessment. I also find the initial setup very easy, as I only needed to open the test link.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

The overall experience was good, but I think the platform could improve by adding a short tutorial or demo before starting the test. A short tutorial or demo would help the candidates understand the test layout and navigation before starting, which reduces confusion and saves time.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testlify helps me showcase my skills clearly and fairly during the hiring process, providing a structured way to evaluate my knowledge. It saves time by allowing me to complete the assessment online without multiple rounds of testing.

**Official Response from Anuraag Surany Raman:**

> Thank you for your positive feedback on Testlify's clear and user-friendly assessment process. We understand your suggestion for a tutorial or demo and will take it into consideration for enhancing the user experience.

 ### 6. Intuitive and Efficient Platform for Skill Assessments

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** 2K22/B14/21 M. | Undergrad Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

The GHG Protocol, developed jointly by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and the World Resources Institute (WRI), is the most widely adopted framework for corporate carbon accounting (7). It classifies emissions into three scopes. Scope 1 covers direct emissions from a company’s own operations, such as fuel combustion in company-owned vehicles and emissions from manufacturing processes. Scope 2 includes indirect emissions from the generation of purchased electricity, steam, heating, and cooling that the reporting company consumes. Scope 3, defined under the GHG Protocol Corporate Value Chain Standard (8; 9), captures all other indirect emissions across the full value chain, including both upstream (supply-side) and downstream (demand-side) activities.

For most corporations operating in major economies such as the United States, China, and India, Scope 3 emissions account for well above 70 to 80 percent of the total corporate carbon footprint (10; 11), and this share has increased globally over the past two decades (12). Yet despite their dominance, Scope 3 emissions are often the least accurately measured and the most poorly reported. One comprehensive study of large US companies found that, on average, corporations reported less than 25 percent of their upstream Scope 3 emissions in 2013 (18). Multiple studies have also identified systematic sources of error in Scope 3 estimation methodologies (13; 14; 15; 16; 17), but quantitative analysis of the type and magnitude of these errors remains limited.

Within Scope 3, Category 4 (Upstream Transportation and Distribution) is particularly important for organisations with complex, multi-tier supply chains. The transport sector is responsible for approximately one-quarter of global energy-related CO2 emissions, and freight logistics represents a substantial share of supply chain emissions. For organisations running international procurement programmes, the choice of transport mode—air, ocean, road, or rail—can change per-shipment emissions by more than two orders of magnitude. However, corporate Scope 3 transport estimation still relies largely on spend-based emission factors, calculated by multiplying total procurement expenditure by industry-average emission intensities expressed in kilograms of CO2e per dollar of expenditure. While this approach requires minimal data collection, it can introduce substantial estimation variance by conflating real emission differences with artefacts of supplier pricing strategies, regional cost structures, currency fluctuations, and discount arrangements.

This project develops an interpretable machine learning framework to help close this measurement gap by predicting per-shipment CO2 transport emissions from financial records that organisations already maintain—specifically freight invoices, purchase orders, and supplier metadata—without requiring weight, distance, or transport mode information from multi-tier suppliers. By operating at the individual shipment level rather than the aggregate firm level, the framework aims to generate estimates with enough granularity to support operational logistics decisions such as mode selection, carrier evaluation, and route optimisation.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

Certain aspects of the platform feel somewhat rigid, particularly due to the limited options for customizing test formats and timer settings, which can be restrictive. I have also noticed occasional loading delays when dealing with more complex question types, and the range of interactive question options is somewhat limited, making the experience less flexible compared to some competitors.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testlify streamlines skill assessments by providing an online test platform equipped with prebuilt questions and automated scoring. This approach saves time during hiring or self-evaluation, minimizes bias, and delivers clear insights into performance. As a result, users benefit from quicker, more equitable evaluations and a better understanding of their strengths and areas for improvement.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> Thank you for your detailed feedback. We are pleased to hear that you find Testlify intuitive and efficient for skill assessments.

We also acknowledge your input regarding customization options and platform performance. Please be assured that your feedback has been shared with our product team for continued improvement.

 ### 7. Balanced, Well-Rounded Test with Great Question Variety

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rouissi M. | Stagiaire, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

What I liked was the variety in both the aspects covered and the types of questions asked. With most tests I’ve taken, the focus tends to stay on just one side or a single type of question, but this one felt more balanced and well-rounded.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

What bothered me the most was the insufficient amount of time during the test.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem that Testify is solving is mainly about time management ,being able to take a test in about an hour to assess language proficiency without having to relocate.

 ### 8. Easy-to-Use Tool for Effective Interview Testing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ahmad Hassaan S. | Senior Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I found Testlify to be very easy to use and handy to practice with. It provided questions related to accounting, ethics, and real-world scenarios that helped me understand my core concepts better. The questions were practical, aiding me to answer them more effectively and efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

Certain conditions and specific things could be improved because Testlify does not provide a rough worksheet for solving problems that were being given.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testlify provides questions on accounting, ethics, and personality, helping me build core concepts and respond efficiently to interview tests.

 ### 9. User-Friendly UI with Flexible Scheduling

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anastasia V. | Senior L&D Operations Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I like that with Testlify, I didn't have to pick a time slot for interviews as the link was sent to me with a deadline. The UI is nice, pretty, and user-friendly, making it easy to navigate. The initial setup was good too.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

I think the tour is needed before you start the assessments, even though it's pretty clear after a few tries, buttons are located in weird places.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like that Testlify doesn't require me to pick a time slot for interviews. It works by sending me a link with a deadline, which is convenient.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> Flexible scheduling and a user-friendly experience are exactly what we aim for, so it’s great to hear this feedback.

We also appreciate your note on the onboarding tour and button placement insights like these help us keep improving the experience for everyone.

 ### 10. Engaging Tests, Intuitive Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mayur G. | Team Lead, Entertainment, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I have just tested Testlify for the first time and it's really, really amazing. The test was for a product designer, UI/UX position and I found it quite interesting with amazing questions that give the mind a game to run, think, and create calculative numbers in the brain. It's like sharpening our brain, and that's fantastic. I'm really happy with this kind of operation. I also like the feature of just clicking and selecting the answer, it's very specific. Additionally, the initial setup was pretty easy, especially when checking the camera and setting up my microphone.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

I think it would be really good if there was an AI assistant on the bottom that could directly communicate with me, so I can give the answers back. At the moment, I'm reading your question and answering on that. It would be great, like a real human being is talking with me, kind of like how we're used to chatting with Charge GPT and other models nowadays. It would make it more interactive.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testlify makes preparing for interviews enjoyable with its engaging questions. It's easy to use with simple answer selections. The setup is straightforward, too.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> Thank you for your detailed and enthusiastic feedback. We're delighted to hear that you found the assessment engaging, thought-provoking, and easy to use.

We also appreciate your innovative suggestion regarding an AI assistant for a more interactive experience. Your idea has been shared with our product team for future consideration.

 ### 11. Dynamic Platform with a Few Flaws

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ana N.

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I think Testlify is a really dynamic platform. It's a nice way of testing more than doing just writing tests, which can be a little more boring and standardized. I really enjoyed how organized it is as a test, with clear skill sets to fill out. It made the experience really quick and clear. I also like how smooth, nice, and quick the initial setup was.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

I didn't enjoy that Testlify skips questions, jumping from one to another. This caused some questions to be unanswered because I couldn't go back to them. The skipping questions can really make a wrong move for the candidate.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Testlify as a dynamic platform for job application screening tests. It offers a more engaging testing experience than traditional writing tests. However, I faced issues with questions being skipped, which prevented me from answering some of them.

**Official Response from Anuraag Surany Raman:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Testlify. We understand your concern about the skipping questions and will take this into consideration for future enhancements to the platform.

 ### 12. Excellent for Remote and Online Interviews

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** umar k.

**Reviewed Date:** December 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I think the feature of being reminded to prepare for the next round is great. It's very helpful for remote job interviews, saving me time and money compared to walk-in interviews. I'm very satisfied and happy with Testlify as it prevents the wasteful experience of traveling for interviews. It's particularly beneficial for any online job interview, especially in the IT sector and for those in the digital world. The initial setup of Testlify was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

In the test, there was no option to go back to the time allotted, even though we had enough time to go back. I'm not sure, maybe there was a specific reason for this, but I didn't like it if it was built that way. It wasn't really possible to open another window during the test, which I found inconvenient.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testlify saves me from wasting time and money on walk-in interviews, especially for remote and online jobs. I appreciate its reminder feature for test preparation, which enhances readiness for interviews.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> Thank you for your detailed feedback. We're glad to hear that Testlify has been valuable for your remote interview process, saving you time and money while providing helpful reminders.

We also appreciate your input regarding the inability to go back to previous questions and the restrictions on opening other windows. These settings are typically enabled by the hiring organization to ensure assessment integrity. Your comments have been noted for internal review.

 ### 13. Intuitive and User-Friendly Assessment Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex R.

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I found Testlify to be really intuitive and easy to use, which I like the most. It worked really well for me as a senior data analyst applying for a position. All the questions were professional and the tasks I had to complete were really good. The experience was very smooth and everything was clear from the beginning. The app also helped avoid scams since the time limitations made it difficult to use shortcuts like GPT solutions. The initial setup was really, really easy, and I didn't have any complications, which made me feel really happy. Compared to other applications I've tried, I think Testlify is one of the best.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

I had some complications at the beginning because the person who gave me the instructions didn’t give them properly. I didn't understand the task at first, but once I realized I had a thirty minutes to answer everything, I could adapt and do everything well.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testlify is intuitive and easy to use, with no technical issues. It makes the application process clear and manageable.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> Thank you for your thoughtful and detailed feedback. We're delighted to hear that you found Testlify intuitive, professional, and one of the best assessment tools you've used.

 ### 14. Promising Tool with Improvement Needs

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zonna N. | Graphic Design Specialist

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I really like the MCQs in Testlify because they felt like getting education again in a high school manner.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

I really don't like that there's a video timer when you're not supposed to be introducing yourself for a job offer. It feels really rude and undermining. It makes you very self-conscious because there's this specific timer recording you, basically testing how much and how well you can speak. It creates anxiety and can overstimulate someone who's there to apply for a job since it's already a stressful situation. Also, during the setup, being asked to repeat sentences suddenly and then looking at yourself, it was overwhelming when the video camera asked me to introduce myself as if it was a job interview.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testlify educates me on areas I'm not very experienced in, forming a more educated experience.

**Official Response from Anuraag Surany Raman:**

> We're glad to hear that you enjoy the MCQs in Testlify and find them educational.

 ### 15. Practical, Skills-Based Assessments That Streamline Hiring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mamta G. | Accounting manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

What I like best about Testlify is its practical, skills-based assessment approach. It evaluates real-world problem-solving rather than just theoretical knowledge, which makes the hiring process more fair and efficient for both candidates and employers. The interface is also intuitive, allowing candidates to focus on demonstrating their skills without unnecessary complexity.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

At times, the time limits can feel a bit tight for more complex questions, which may not always reflect real working conditions. Allowing slightly more flexibility could help candidates better demonstrate their skills.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testlify solves the problem of subjective and resume-based hiring by providing standardized, skills-focused assessments. This benefits me by giving a fair opportunity to demonstrate my actual abilities rather than being judged only on keywords or past titles. It also makes the evaluation process clearer and more transparent, allowing me to focus on performing relevant tasks aligned with the role.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> Thank you for sharing such a detailed and constructive review. We're glad to hear that Testlify's practical, skills-based approach has helped make the hiring process fairer and more transparent for you.

We also appreciate your feedback regarding time limits for complex questions. Your input has been noted and shared with our product team for consideration.

 ### 16. Simplifies Online Interviews with Ease

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allan Benedict D.

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I find Testlify pretty straightforward, which is great. The timing feature is very good, and I appreciate being able to conduct interviews asynchronously. It's helpful that Testlify tests internet connectivity right off the bat, letting me know the speed and stability. I also like that the platform integrates recordings, audio, and camera functionality, all in one place. It's cool stuff that simplifies the whole process.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

I had an experience where my family photo in the background was detected as multiple faces. My face was the only one in front of the camera, but it was still detecting a very small face at the background. I think the proximity or the distance to the camera could be improved.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Testlify for online interviews. It's straightforward and allows asynchronous timing. It integrates recordings, audio, and Internet checks, ensuring connectivity without interrupting the process. It's useful for understanding interviewees' network speed, audio, and video seamlessly.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> Thank you for your detailed feedback. We're glad to hear that Testlify has simplified your online interview process with its asynchronous timing, integrated recordings, and connectivity checks.

We also appreciate you bringing the facial detection issue to our attention. This has been noted and shared with our product team for review.

 ### 17. Boosts Confidence with Structured Feedback

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arbie D. | Retirement Plan Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I like Testlify for its structured tests and clear feedback, which have helped me quickly see what I need to improve. This has made me focus on my weak areas, improve accuracy, and feel more confident and prepared for quick questions, tests, or exams. The feedback shows exactly what I need to improve, linking it to real-world tasks. Also, the initial setup was very easy and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

I think more detailed explanation for incorrect answers would make it even more helpful. It would help me understand why an answer is right or wrong, not just that it's wrong. This would save time reviewing outside resources, reinforce the correct concept immediately, and help me avoid repeating the same mistakes in future tests.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testlify helps me identify skill gaps and prepare for certification or job requirements. The structured tests and clear feedback highlight what I need to improve, boosting my confidence and accuracy for exams by focusing on my weak areas and real-world tasks.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful feedback. We're glad to hear that Testlify's structured assessments and clear feedback have helped you identify skill gaps, improve accuracy, and build confidence.

We also greatly appreciate your suggestion regarding more detailed explanations for incorrect answers. This is valuable input, and it has been shared with our product team for consideration.

 ### 18. Efficient, Reliable, and Candidate-Friendly Hiring Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I’ve been really impressed with Testlify as a talent assessment platform. It makes the hiring process smoother by offering accurate, easy-to-use skill tests that give clear insights into candidates’ abilities. The interface is intuitive, and candidates appreciate how straightforward the experience is.

What stands out most is how quickly it helps identify top talent while saving recruiters valuable time. The integrations with HR tools are seamless, and the reporting features make decision-making much easier.

Overall, Testlify delivers on its promise of simplifying recruitment with reliable, data-driven assessments. Highly recommended for teams looking to improve their hiring process and ensure they bring in the right people.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

I don´t dislike anything really, everything seems to be good

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testlify is helping solve one of the biggest challenges in recruitment: finding the right talent quickly and confidently. Traditional hiring processes often rely too heavily on résumés or lengthy interviews, which can miss critical skills or take too much time. Testlify streamlines this by offering accurate, role-specific assessments that reveal a candidate’s true abilities.

For me, the biggest benefit has been time savings and better decision-making. Instead of spending hours screening applicants manually, I can rely on Testlify’s data-driven insights to shortlist the best candidates. It also improves the candidate experience—tests are easy to take and feel fair, which reflects positively on the company brand.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> Thank you for your thoughtful and detailed review. We're delighted to hear that Testlify has helped streamline your recruitment process, save time, and improve decision-making with data-driven insights.

It's great to know that both your team and candidates have had a positive experience with the platform.

We truly appreciate your recommendation and your partnership.

 ### 19. Intuitive and Customizable Hiring Made Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Achraf J. | Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

Testlify’s intuitive interface and customizable assessments make hiring smarter and faster. I especially appreciate how easy it is to tailor tests to specific roles, ensuring candidates are evaluated on the skills that truly matter. The platform saves time while improving hiring accuracy.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

The platform could benefit from more detailed analytics and reporting features. While the assessments are effective, having deeper insights into candidate performance trends and benchmarking would make it even more powerful for hiring decisions.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testlify streamlines the hiring process by offering role-specific skill assessments that reduce bias and improve candidate quality. It solves the problem of relying solely on resumes or interviews by providing objective data on actual skills. This helps me make faster, more confident hiring decisions and ensures better alignment between candidates and job requirements.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> "Achraf, tailoring assessments to specific roles is where we want HR teams to feel powerful, so it's good to hear it's working out.

Deeper analytics (performance trends, benchmarking) is the right next direction, and we're sending it to the analytics team. Worth keeping an eye on.

 ### 20. Promising Talent Assessment Tool for Academia

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** kalpana D. | freelancer, Higher Education, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I found this app is very much simple, easy and user friendly. The best part is, it has AI generated assessments which saves lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

Only 7 days trail is given. Number of days for trial is very less. It should be at least 1 month.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I recently tried the trial version of Testlify as a freelancer to evaluate talent in higher education, specifically focusing on the role of professor. With over thirty years of administrative experience, I approached this as part of my ongoing interest in testing various software, particularly those related to education administration. Drawing on my background as an experienced software tester in this field, I found the Testlify platform to be intuitive and well-organized, providing quick, data-driven insights into candidates' abilities. The tool offers a solid range of assessments that can be tailored to both teaching skills and subject expertise, making it a useful resource for initial screening. I found its analytics and reporting features especially valuable, as they clearly highlight candidates' strengths as well as areas needing improvement. While using the trial version, I did encounter some restrictions, such as limited access to the full question banks and certain customization options. However, even with these limitations, the platform demonstrated significant promise for improving recruitment and evaluation processes in higher education.

Additionally, Testlify is capable of adding a webcam and microphone depending on the assessment requirements, making it a versatile choice. The initial setup was easy, which is always a plus.

 ### 23. Simplifies Complex queries for better understanding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diksha K.

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I find Testlify to be an excellent platform for both researchers and students. It's great for evaluating learning and basic understanding of concepts. Using Testlify has simplified the way we express our research work, making things easier and improving our lives. I appreciate how it provides both simple and complex concepts in an easily understandable manner, helping students grasp even the minute complex experiments in a simpler form. The diagrammatic representation and flowcharts are very helpful for better understanding the questions and answering the same.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

I don't find anything lacking, but adding more and more visual queries to the databases could make it better. More elaborative options for students, like having one question with multiple answers and multiple options, would be very helpful. Providing a template work plan for projects would be better options.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> Thank you for your thoughtful and detailed feedback. We're glad to hear that Testlify has helped simplify complex concepts and supported both research and learning through clear visuals and structured questions.

 ### 24. Streamlined Hiring with Intuitive Assessments and Insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shubham S.

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I really appreciate how Testlify makes the entire assessment process easy and efficient. The platform's intuitive interface allows for quick and easy customization of tests, which saves a lot of time. I am particularly impressed with the quality and diversity of the question library, as it thoroughly covers both technical and non-technical areas. The candidate analytics and scoring reports stand out due to their clarity and data-driven nature, making it easier to compare candidates objectively. I also love how the automated workflow integrates seamlessly with our ATS, eliminating much of the manual workload from the hiring process. Testlify combines usability, strong assessment content, and actionable insights, making it a highly valuable tool for improving the quality and speed of hiring decisions.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

While Testlify works well, there are a few areas where the experience could be improved. Firstly, I need more customization options for assessments, such as gaining control over question types, difficulty levels, and candidate experiences. Expanded reporting and insights would be beneficial, particularly more granular analytics around candidate behavior, benchmarking, and performance over time. Navigating certain areas like test creation, videos, and analytics can feel slightly slower, so a faster or smoother user experience in these aspects would be appreciated. Additionally, more integration with third-party tools for testing, including CRM and Slack notification, would help feel even more connected. Finally, incorporating more real-world scenario questions could enhance the assessment process by providing practical simulations.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Testlify to automate pre-employment testing and assessments, reducing manual time. It streamlines technical, soft skills, and behavioral evaluations, improving efficiency and candidate comparison while minimizing bias.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> Thank you Shubham for sharing your positive experience with Testlify! We're glad to hear that you find the platform easy to use and efficient, with a diverse question library and insightful candidate analytics. ### 25. Intuitive and User-Friendly Job Assessment Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter Q.

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I love Testlify because it's quite easy to use and very intuitive. Unlike other job assessments I've taken in the past, Testlify isn't a simple fill-in-the-blank document; it offers a more interactive and engaging format. This makes the assessment process much more engaging and less monotonous. I appreciate how user-friendly the platform is, making it accessible for anyone to navigate and complete assessments efficiently. It truly stands out as a superior tool for job assessment processes.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

I felt that there should have been more time allocated to respond to questions during the job assessment portion on Testlify. In my experience, I was given a little over four minutes to answer a question, which seemed insufficient for the average person. Although I understand this might be configured by the employer, more time would be helpful.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Testlify for job assessments, which are intuitive and user-friendly, enhancing my hiring potential.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> Thank you for your feedback. We're delighted to hear that you found Testlify intuitive, user-friendly, and more engaging compared to other assessment tools.

We also appreciate your input regarding time allocation for questions. Please note that time limits are set by the employer, but your suggestion has been noted.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alec K. | N/A (Previously Trading & Consulting at Carbonbetter), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

It was very helpful as a submission platform for me to accurately submit my work for a virtual case study. The platform felt seamless and streamlined. Customer Support is very accessible as well.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

There was very little about Testify that I found unhelpful. My only real issue was needing to be mindful of the time limit. I was caught off guard when I returned and discovered that my time had already run out.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testlify has made it easy for me, as a candidate, to complete a virtual screening exercise or assessment on a platform that is both seamless and intuitive. I would definitely recommend that other employers use Testlify for their talent screening and virtual assessment needs.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> "Alec, the 'time ran out while I was away' moment isn't a one-off, and we agree the warning needs to be louder when a candidate steps away mid-assessment. Glad support was helpful when you needed them, and that the platform itself stayed out of the way of the actual case study.

 ### 28. Effortless Setup with Confidence Boosting Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I love how Testlify provides an incredibly user-friendly experience both in its simplicity and its ease of use. Whether I'm using a mobile device or a computer, the process is seamless, which is a huge advantage. I appreciate how it integrates the use of a camera and microphone, instilling confidence for companies by verifying the identity of the test taker, which is truly remarkable. The use of AI further enhances its capabilities, ensuring that the system can catch those who might misuse the platform, providing an extra layer of security and reliability. This feature is particularly impressive as it reassures both users and companies about the integrity of the process. Additionally, the initial setup of Testlify was straightforward and efficiently handled, making the transition smooth. Overall, the platform stands out for its simplicity, security, and efficiency, earning my highest recommendation score.

I don't have anything bad to say about it

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Testlify easy to use for taking tests for open positions, providing confidence with its camera and microphone features to confirm the candidate's identity.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> Reydi, this kind of feedback from a candidate matters to us a lot. The mobile experience and the identity verification both took a while to get right, mostly because most candidates take their tests on whatever device is closest to hand, and employers need to trust the result regardless. Reading that both worked for you is a good sign.

If you ever cross over to the hiring side and want to see how the dashboard looks from there, we'd be glad to show you around.

 ### 29. Streamlined Hiring with Effective Freelancer Analysis

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kirupa L. | Founder, Events Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I really appreciate how Testlify enables me to hire top-tier freelancers with confidence. The platform provides me with a comprehensive analysis of potential freelancers, including their past work and how they've communicated with previous clients. This insight allows me to make informed decisions, which has drastically improved the quality of freelancers I hire for my website projects. I used to encounter numerous issues with random freelancers, but with Testlify, I can now choose freelancers whose work meets my expectations. The inclusion of reviews from previous clients and detailed portfolio analysis helps me assess response rates and select the right freelancers who can effectively handle my projects. Additionally, I find the initial setup of Testlify to be quite straightforward and beneficial thanks to the tutorials provided, allowing me to understand the platform better.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

I am frustrated by the inability to view a freelancer's full details before making a decision. The details provided seem to be abbreviated, lacking depth in their descriptions and what they do. I believe having more comprehensive information would allow me to make better hiring decisions. Additionally, during the initial setup, although there was a tutorial that was generally helpful, there were instances where required forms to fill out details were missing, necessitating contact with customer support to resolve these issues.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Testlify to hire top freelancers for my projects by analyzing their past work, communication, and reviews, allowing me to make better hiring decisions.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> Hi Kirupa. Quick clarification for anyone else reading this: Testlify is a pre-hire skills assessment platform. Companies use it to evaluate candidate skills before hiring, not to source freelancers.

The bit, separately, about tutorial gaps and missing forms during setup is worth following up on regardless. If that happened on our setup, write to success@testlify.com and tell us where you got stuck. We'll fix it for the next person.

 ### 30. Simple and effective tool for skills assessment and hiring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prince Bernard D. | Technology Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

Testlify makes the hiring process much easier by allowing us to create role-specific assessments quickly. The platform is very user-friendly, so even team members who are not technical can set up tests without difficulty. I like how it provides detailed candidate insights, including skills breakdowns and reports that help us make fair and informed hiring decisions. The variety of pre-built assessments saves a lot of time compared to building everything from scratch.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

While the platform is very useful, some of the advanced customization options could be improved—for example, adding more flexibility in question design or integrating with additional ATS systems. Reporting is strong, but exporting and customizing reports could be made a bit smoother. It would also be helpful if the library of assessments expanded more frequently to cover niche or emerging skills.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testlify helps us solve the challenge of objectively evaluating candidates during the hiring process. Instead of relying only on resumes or subjective interviews, we can assess real skills through structured tests. This reduces bias, speeds up shortlisting, and ensures we only move forward with qualified candidates. It has saved our team significant time in screening, improved the quality of hires, and given us more confidence in our recruitment decisions.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> Thank you for your thoughtful review, Prince! We’re glad to hear that Testlify has made the hiring process easier for your team by allowing you to create role-specific assessments quickly and providing detailed candidate insights.

We appreciate your feedback on advanced customization options, integrations, and reporting. We’ll definitely consider improving flexibility in question design and expanding the assessment library to cover more niche or emerging skills. If you have any further suggestions or need assistance, feel free to reach out. We’re here to help!

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

What I like best about Testlify is how easy it is to quickly assess candidates with real, skills-based evaluations. It takes the guesswork out of hiring and makes the process more efficient and data-driven.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

The platform is great overall, but there’s a bit of a learning curve at the beginning when setting up assessments. Once you get used to it, it’s pretty smooth.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 32. Flexible and User-Friendly Pre-Employment Testing Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brittany P.

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I appreciate Testlify's customer service, which is responsive and flexible in updating testing answers to meet the specific needs of my organization. The platform's ease of use is beneficial both for me as an employer and for candidates who are completing the testing, allowing for a more efficient process. I particularly value Testlify's willingness to help customize tests, ensuring they accurately match the position I am hiring for. This customization is especially important, as it helps candidates focus on the relevant aspects of the job rather than struggling with the testing system. Additionally, I found the platform's initial setup to be very easy, which helped streamline the transition process when my team switched to Testlify from TotalTesting and Psymetrics in search of updated tests and better cost containment.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

Using AI to score video job interviews is discriminatory in Illinois. Having legal notices may be helpful for users as we continue to use AI in recruitment efforts.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Testlify for pre-employment testing to assess candidates' knowledge and behavior accurately. It offers customizable tests, making it easy to match specific job requirements. The platform is user-friendly, saving candidates time and improving efficiency.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> Hi Brittany. The Illinois AI Video Interview Act point is one we take seriously, so let's address it directly. AI-on-video is configurable per assessment, which means customers in Illinois can run video evaluations without AI scoring. We also generate the candidate disclosures and audit logs that the Act asks for.

This deserves a proper conversation, though, because the right configuration depends on which assessments you're running. Write to success@testlify.com and we'll get the right person on our compliance side to walk you through it. Glad the migration itself worked out for your team. That's the kind of switch we want to make easier for teams.

 ### 33. Smooth Platform with Initial Glitch Hurdle

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sangeetha L.

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I found Testlify interesting and innovative. It allowed me to take assessments at my own pace and comfort, which was very helpful since I work the whole day. The platform is designed well, with a good font size that enhances readability, making the experience user-friendly and engaging. The questions were challenging and created a sense of eagerness to participate in the assessments. This was my first time using Testlify, and it was a smooth and interactive experience, aside from a few initial challenges, demonstrating the platform's capability to facilitate smooth online assessments.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

I experienced a significant issue where the platform got stuck during the initial setup, particularly when it was checking my camera and microphone. It remained stuck for close to fifteen minutes, which was quite frustrating. I'm not sure if this was a problem with Testlify or something on my end, but it definitely impacted my experience negatively. Additionally, I feel there should be a better way to communicate connectivity issues, perhaps through some kind of mail confirmation. This would help us identify where the problem is originating from and address it more efficiently.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Testlify to schedule assessments flexibly at my convenience, avoiding the need to take leave. It allows assessments at my own pace, enhancing comfort.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> "Sangeetha, fifteen minutes hanging on a camera-and-mic check is a bad first impression, and we don't want anyone going through that. Your suggestion of a clearer fallback path, possibly via email, is a good one and we'll think about it.

If you remember roughly when this happened, send the date and time to success@testlify.com. Our support team can pull the session logs and figure out where it stalled, which helps us avoid it for the next person.

 ### 34. Easy to Use and Straight to the Answering Portal, Mic Issues

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I loved the ease of use. You just listen to or read whatever the questions are, and then are thrown into your answering portal.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

When trying to actually respond with a video, my mic was not connecting. It connected and said it was on and worked for the test video beforehand, and then I started the video and it didn't record audio in the actual thing. Going to another test window showed my audio worked, then trying again it did not work in production.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I just used it for an interview, better for the user than something like Loom, because you can ask questions in app.

 ### 35. Student-Friendly and Skill-Enhancing Platform

Sometimes the time limit feels a little tight. Having a few more practice questions would help students feel more confident.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Testlify for online assessments and practice tests. It helps me improve my skills, prepare for tests, and figure out where I need improvement. It's student-friendly, easy to use, and the platform is smooth and well-organized.

 ### 36. Seamless Job Candidate Filtering with Intuitive Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diana G.

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I appreciate Testlify's clear and intuitive platform, which makes navigation easy even for someone who isn't tech-savvy. Its user-friendly interface ensures I don't waste time figuring out where things are or how to respond, allowing me to operate efficiently during skill assessments. The initial setup was very easy and intuitive, which made the transition seamless. Additionally, I find Testlify's ability to filter out unqualified applicants at an early stage through its skills assessments incredibly valuable, solving the problem of dealing with too many unqualified candidates. Overall, I'm very satisfied with Testlify and would highly recommend it to others, as reflected in my willingness to give it a recommendation score of 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

I find it limiting that Testlify cannot mix different question types more freely and lacks customization for time limits on questions.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testlify filters unqualified applicants early, providing a clear, intuitive platform that saves time and is easy to use.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> "Diana, both are real asks: mixing question types more freely within a single assessment, and customizing time limits per question. Concrete enough that the product team can act on them. If you can share at success@testlify.com what shape of assessment you were trying to build, we'll feed that straight into the roadmap conversation.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dheeraj S. | Content Marketing Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

Clean interface, smooth setup, and a format that gives candidates time to think before recording. Felt professional throughout.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

A progress indicator showing how many questions are left would be a helpful addition. Minor thing, but it would improve the candidate experience further.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It removes the scheduling friction of a live first-round interview while still giving candidates a fair chance to present themselves properly. For both sides of the process, that is a genuine time saver.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anand Svarup B.

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I use Testlify for my examinations, and it has really excelled my expectations. Its very simple design, ease of implementation, and seamless execution of tests are standout features for me. The platform offers a great user experience, making it straightforward not only for interviewees to complete tests but also for interviewers to send test links and manage the process effortlessly. The whole process is streamlined in such a way that it becomes a delightful experience for all parties involved. The ease of use and setup is arguably one of the best in the industry, providing me with immense satisfaction.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

I find the orange accents in Testlify to be quite sharp, which might be off-putting and could potentially strain my eyes during extended use. Additionally, I miss having a dark mode option, which is a common feature in most testing interfaces today and helps in reducing eye strain.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Testlify's simple design and easy implementation streamline the testing process, improving user experience for interviewees and ease of executing tests for interviewers.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> "Anand, the orange-accent and dark-mode points are both real. Dark mode is a recurring ask. The honest reason it hasn't shipped is that doing it well across both the candidate experience and the employer dashboard, without breaking the design system, is more work than it sounds. We're working on it.

I like how Testlify offers the ability to conduct pre-tests for potential employees. This feature is incredibly useful for making the hiring process more efficient and streamlined. Furthermore, I am really impressed by the extensive library of 300+ ready-made assessments available in Testlify. These assessments simplify the testing process by providing a wide variety of templates to choose from, which makes it easier to evaluate candidates comprehensively and effectively during the hiring process. It ensures that the pre-test procedures are carried out seamlessly, reducing the initial setup time and hassle. Additionally, the setup itself was straightforward, with Testlify being very easy to set up, which adds to my appreciation of its user-friendly design.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

I'm not entirely satisfied with the pricing factors of Testlify. This aspect seems to be an area that could use some improvement.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Testlify to streamline employment hiring with over 300 ready-made assessments, making pre-testing applicants easy.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

 ### 41. Testlify beats Hireflix and testGorilla on ease of use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francisco B. | International Recruiter - Mexico, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I used Testlify, Hireflix, and TestGorilla while applying for jobs. Here's how they compare.

Testlify wins on ease of use. The interface is clean. You know where to go next. Instructions are clear. I finished the tests faster because I didn't waste time figuring out how the platform works.

Hireflix frustrated me. The video recording setup took too long. The timer started before I was ready twice. The interface felt clunky. I spent more time fighting the platform than focusing on my answers.

TestGorilla sits in the middle. The dashboard is organized. Tests load fast. But the question navigation is confusing. Going back to review answers takes too many clicks. Some test types work better than others.

Testlify keeps things simple. Start test. Answer questions. Submit. Done. No technical headaches. No confusion about what comes next.

For time-pressed applicants, Testlify respects your time. You log in, complete what you need, and move on. The other two make you work harder than necessary.

If companies want good applicants to finish their assessments, they should pick Testlify. I finished those tests. I gave up halfway through some Hireflix ones.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

Limited feedback. No sense of how I did. No practice mode. You go directly to the test. the platform looks dated.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a recruiter, Testlify cuts screening time. Filters out unqualified applicants early. Saces interview ours. speed up high-volume hiring. You move faster and hire better

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> "Francisco, this is the kind of candidate-side review we read carefully. The 'start, answer, submit, done' flow is the experience we optimise for, because every minute a candidate fights the platform is a minute they're not showing the employer what they can actually do.

Three points to address. A practice mode is on our radar. Richer post-test feedback for candidates depends partly on what the employer chooses to share, but we know there's room to do better there. The 'looks dated' note is the most actionable of the three, and a design refresh is mid-flight. Real appreciation for the time you put into this review.

 ### 42. Reassuring UX/UI with a Clean, User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** BHANU N. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

reassuring UX AND UI also the interface is nice

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

the email they sent can be detailed like is the interview live or prerecorded

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the problem seems to be the quality assisment i was surprised at how good and strict the interface is and it is benifiting me as it eleminates the unfair practice by the other candidates and give us a fair chance

 ### 43. Intuitive UI, Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Geethanjali K.

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I found Testlify to be a positive experience, particularly appreciating its user-friendly UI, which made navigation smooth and intuitive. The structured multiple-choice questions and realistic time constraints enhanced the evaluation process. The ability to flag questions for review was a beneficial feature for managing time and staying organized during assessments. The reminders for the time remaining, such as notifications a few minutes before timeout, were extremely helpful in maintaining awareness and preventing progress loss. Additionally, Testlify's simple UI was a significant factor in my team's decision to switch from Codility, highlighting the platform's ease of use. The initial setup was straightforward, involving simple steps that were easy to understand.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

I find it challenging that the coding panel on Testlify cannot be minimized beyond 75%, which makes it difficult to read longer problem statements. It would be extremely helpful if there were options to collapse, resize, or float the coding window for easier reference to the full question text. Additionally, I am frustrated that error messages are not clearly visible when the code is executed. After clicking 'Run Code,' the output or error details should appear in a more prominent and readable section, since the current setup makes it easy to miss or overlook these error messages.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Testlify offers a smooth testing experience with well-structured questions and a user-friendly UI, enhancing my time management with flagging features and timely reminders.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> "Geethanjali, both points are concrete. A more flexible coding-panel layout (collapse, resize or float for longer problem statements) and clearer 'Run Code' error output are the kind of UX changes the coding-assessment team can act on directly. Logging both.

Glad the rest of the experience worked out after the switch.

 ### 44. Easy to Use but with Integration Limitations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fernando O. | Manager - Addressable Activation (Programmatic Activation Manager), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I really liked that Testlify is very simple to use, the questions are clear, and the time to answer is adequate. Additionally, the ease of use is something I really appreciate. Also, the initial setup was not complicated at all, as the tool guides you step by step on what to do, which made it quite easy for me.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

I didn't like that when using Testlify, it took up the whole screen and I couldn't open another application to do calculations. I had to do the calculations on a calculator instead of the computer.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used Testlify for a remote job interview, where I answered questions on video. It is very simple to use, with clear questions and adequate time to respond.

**Official Response from Anuraag Surany Raman:**

> Thank you for sharing your feedback on Testlify! We're thrilled to hear that you found the platform easy to use and appreciated the clear questions and setup process. We understand your concern about the screen taking up the whole space and limiting your ability to use other applications simultaneously. We'll definitely take this into consideration for future improvements to enhance user experience. If you have any further suggestions or encounter any issues, please feel free to reach out to our support team. We're here to assist you and ensure your experience with Testlify is as seamless as possible. Thank you for choosing Testlify for your remote job interview, and we wish you the best of luck in your endeavors!

 ### 45. A great tool in helping shortlist the necessary candidates as a creative writer and beta reader!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adeeba Noor Binte H. | Beta Reader and Content Writer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

As a professional beta reader and content writer, what I particularly liked about Testlify is that it has cut down a lot of my time and provided some reliable skills to consider through getting ideas from their pre-set tests and interviews before I hire more niche people for my team, and it can also be curated based on my requirements. What I liked most about it is that it allowed my educational workspace identity to evaluate candidates, since I wanted to hire from my academic space, thus ensuring professionalism. Their personalised evaluation was a great help, as it gave a perspective on how to reduce bias and ensure fair options. Moreover, the features of Testlify were clear and direct. I needed to use their customer support, and they were prompt in their response. Indeed, it is user-friendly and reliable. Highly recommended!

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

As much as it helped me navigate the types of skills I can consider for hiring the candidates, some of the ready-made questions were not fully aligned with my niche work – beta reading is one of them; thus, I had to create my own, which took quite some time. When it comes to creative tasks, especially in literary fiction, it is slightly limited. Nothing major as of yet.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a beta reader and reviewer, I need skills that can analyze manuscripts, not just from a technical approach, but also from a general reader's perspective, and Testlify helped me structure those requirements through pre-set questions, which can be further customized easily. Not to mention, the clear dashboard, which had all the information together of the candidates whom I will be hiring, made the whole experience stress-free.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> Thank you for your thoughtful review, Adeeba! We’re thrilled to hear that Testlify has helped streamline your hiring process by providing reliable skills assessments and personalized evaluations. It’s great to know that the platform has made it easier for you to evaluate candidates and reduce bias while maintaining professionalism in your educational workspace.

We also appreciate your feedback about the need for more niche-specific questions, especially for beta reading and creative tasks. We’ll consider expanding the question library to better support specialized fields. If you have any further suggestions or need assistance, feel free to reach out. We’re here to help!

 ### 46. Organized and User-Friendly Assessment Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erika M.

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I like Testlify because it is organized and clear, which makes using it a seamless experience. The platform divides assessments into different sections and organizes questions into similar groups, making it easier to navigate and find what I need in each section. I appreciate the range of features it offers, such as timers and options for video or chat answers, which enhance the assessment process. The clean layout and appearance of the software contribute to an overall great experience. Furthermore, the initial setup was very easy, which added to the positive experience.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

I find the two separate timers for questions and video recordings confusing. The instructions regarding these timers could be clearer to help users better understand the timing constraints. Additionally, the absence of a redo button for the video feature is frustrating, as it complicates the process of correcting mistakes without an easy way to retake a video.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Testlify makes giving assessments easier by organizing questions into sections, including features like timers, video answers, and chat, making the process clear and efficient.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> "Erika, both are concrete enough to act on. The two-timer confusion (question timer vs video timer) is something we can simplify in the UI. A redo button on video answers is a fair ask, especially for first-take nerves. Logging both.

Glad the section structure worked for the rest of the test.

 ### 47. Effortless Job Assessments with Testlify

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vaishnavi V.

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I love the breaks between sections during the test on Testlify. After completing each section, I can pause, relax, and gather my thoughts before moving on, preventing exhaustion over long durations. This break system is incredibly helpful, especially during the ninety-minute test assessments I took, where the section breaks allowed me to refresh myself and maintain peak performance throughout the test. Additionally, Testlify allows me to submit answers and navigate backward or forward through questions fluidly, which makes it flexible for reviewing my responses. Another aspect I appreciate is how Testlify doesn't interfere with browser extensions, viewing them as mere screen icons unless I attempt to access them. This ensures a smooth experience without unnecessary distractions or system slowdowns. The platform's adjustability is also commendable; it lets me maximize or minimize the display without issues around window ratios. Logging in is also straightforward and fuss-free, needing only an email and password, making the setup process extraordinarily easy. Overall, the user-friendly design, paired with these functional features, greatly enhances my test-taking experience.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

I think everything was good, but it would be better if there was a system where I can have a separate panel of questions. This panel would show me how many questions I have completed, how many are marked for review, and how many are yet to be attempted. Having all questions visible on the right-hand side of a particular section—those I've answered, marked for review, and not attempted—would be a beneficial feature.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Testlify for job test assessments, appreciating its feature to take breaks between sections, preventing exhaustion and improving focus during long assessments.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> "Vaishnavi, this is one of the most thorough candidate reviews we've had. The break between sections is one of those small features that took real thought, and reading that it actually helped sustain focus over a 90-minute test is the best kind of confirmation.

The right-side question-status panel idea (answered, marked-for-review, not-attempted) is a strong UX ask. Logging it for the assessment-taking interface.

 ### 48. Intuitive Interface That Keeps You Focused on What Matters

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Armando C. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

The user interface is highly intuitive, allowing you to quickly grasp how to interact with it as you progress through the test. This is essential because it lets you concentrate fully on the main objective, which is answering the questions.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

Depending on the job area, some topics covered are not very relevant, which means this may not always help you feel confident when answering certain questions. The topics chosen should be more closely aligned with the daily interests and needs of students.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testlify makes it easy to assess a variety of skills through its intuitive interface, significantly reducing the time needed to evaluate people's abilities. Since the assessments are conducted online, you have the flexibility to take them whenever and wherever you prefer, allowing you to comfortably evaluate your skills from home.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. We're pleased to hear that Testlify's intuitive interface has helped you stay focused during assessments and that the flexibility of online testing has been beneficial for you.

We also appreciate your input regarding topic relevance and alignment with students' needs. Your comments have been noted and shared with our assessment team for review.

 ### 49. AI-Powered Assessments Streamline Skill Evaluation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohamed Amine B.

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Testlify?**

I find Testlify particularly beneficial as a software engineer because it provides me with a platform to pass assessments in the testing domain. This is invaluable as it helps me validate my skills effectively. The AI-powered questions in Testlify are a standout feature for me. They allow for the identification and assessment of my skills with precision, saving both time and effort. Additionally, the platform's ability to automate processes is a significant advantage over manual methods, streamlining tasks that would otherwise be time-consuming. The setup process for Testlify was easy, and I appreciate the platform's compatibility with existing systems and the stable bandwidth that allows everything to work cohesively. Overall, Testlify offers a robust solution that supports my professional growth and skills development.

**What do you dislike about Testlify?**

I find that Testlify could improve by providing more interactive questions and enhancing some of its existing features. It would be beneficial to have more choices or flexibility in how assessments are presented, perhaps with AI evaluation. This enhancement would make the tool even more effective for skill assessments and reduce potential misuse during exams.

**What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testlify enhances skill assessment accuracy with AI-powered questions, preventing cheating in assessments. It automates manual job tasks for efficiency, saving recruiters' time by precisely evaluating candidates' skills, making it a beneficial tool for hiring processes.

**Official Response from Testlify Support:**

> "Mohamed, AI-powered questions and process automation are two of the bigger things we lean on, so feedback from the engineer side that both are working is good signal. The point on more interactive question formats and AI-evaluated responses is where some of the newer work is going. We'll keep at it.
