Good and honest tests **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2025 **What do you like best about Testlify?** At once, when I saw that I had to use Chrome (that I don't use) and it would be recorded all the time I got a bit skeptical, for safety matters, but the tests is good, doesnt run weird things on background, is intuitive and the questions are fair, for my test at least, about Laravel. **What do you dislike about Testlify?** No explaining EARLY how much take would it take to do the test, like, there is not necessity to tell that it will be 15min for 15 questions or 40min for 10 questions, but the time to set do it is important to show on the email for the test or even on the first screen, because I click a few steps and I have to "Go and get started" so I hold up until I had 4h free to do it, then, when I got the time, I proceeded to see the questions and then it shows that it will take only 45min, and I ended up doing it in 15min LOL. So I tried to fit a huge thing that wasn't huge, but I got no clue how long would it take. You can review a sample of the questions ahead of time as well, so you can ensure it fits the level you are looking for. There are customized reporting options so you can provide a ton of detail (each Q&A) or just a simple report, which we opted for. Overall I found it to be a great platform and definitely the best test assessment one I have found. Although our needs are few and far between, if we have another one come up I will be coming back to Testlify. **What do you dislike about Testlify?** To keep your data without paying for a subscription, you need to pay a monthly fee.
