It feels really rude and undermining. It makes you very self-conscious because there's this specific timer recording you, basically testing how much and how well you can speak. It creates anxiety and can overstimulate someone who's there to apply for a job since it's already a stressful situation. This helps me understand the questions both visually and audibly. The option to listen to the audio of the questions provides clarity in answering assessment questions, and I find that very helpful. **What do you dislike about Testlify?** I wasn't able to review or revise the questions I already answered. Once I completed the assessment with the time boundary, I couldn't go back to review, which is a drawback for me. I felt a bit ahead in answering, but it was frustrating not being able to review my answers. **What problems is Testlify solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Testlify for job recruitment, conducting and answering test assessments. Sometimes you could hear the system sound, but when testing the microphone, your voice wouldn’t work, only the system audio. The camera would also stop working. On the privacy point: camera and audio are optional. Proctoring is configurable per assessment, and plenty of customers run tests with no proctoring at all when the role doesn't call for it. If the platform felt undifferentiated in the one session you used, that's a fair impression but possibly an incomplete one. The AI question generation and the case-study assessments are usually where the difference shows up, and they're easy to miss in a single test.
