My personal experience with Testflight is as a Tester. It is a very minimalistic, uncluttered interface. It is simple to use and set up, you don't need a tutorial to find your way around or get your account set up. It is a very secure way to send out your app, it is extremely hard for anyone but your designated testers to have access to your beta apps. It is incredibly easy to install and remove apps from Testflight, anyone at all could do it. Your testers receive email updates whenever a new version is released so they know to update the app, which they can do directly from Testflight, making it very easy to get them working on new builds. You can also write descriptions for the apps and say what new features are being released right in Testflight, just like you can on the app store. Your tester has to do nothing but install and update the app. There are many ways for a tester to install the app to their device-they can do so with a link sent through email, by entering an invite code into Testflight, or even scanning a QR code with a QR reader. I have used Testflight extensively for around 4 years, with my current company and previous companies I have worked for, and it is by far the easiest way to test apps that I have had experience with. There really is not much to dislike with Testflight. Sometimes, a tester will provide their Testflight email and something will get crossed and the tester does not receive an invite, and the developer will have to resend, but it is not the biggest inconvenience and it has never stopped me from doing my job. Sometimes when entering in an invitation code within the app to redeem and install, the code will not work and the developer has to create a new one and send it out for us to redeem, but I mostly use the direct invite link sent in the email we receive. The ability to test apps from various developers and being able to test our own internal apps. You get a notification as soon as a new test build is available and you are told what to test. Plus you can set-up an email address so testers can email you about bugs or issues with your app. You can now also add groups to various tests so I can have one group testing one version of our app while another group tests another version. You are not told when a test is over or if a newer build is available for public release. Sometimes builds in the App Store are newer than the TestFlight builds because no new test builds were released. There are also no notifications before builds expire so developers know it's time to release a newer build or can end the test. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Great integration with iTunes connect and apple developer connection. You can easily send updated of the App to users and it will automatically install them on the device. Testers can also send feedback through the app easily. You can also set a time limit on the pre-released app so when it comes time to release the production version user can switch over to that. The removal of Android was a bit annoying when Apple bought them. This means that for our Android Apps we are having to use another product and can no longer keep them together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can quickly demonstrate new features and functions in my IOS apps to my clients. It is easy for my clients to review and approve new changes without having to add the app to the Apple Store. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Email notifications to my clients is sporadic and sometimes are not sent via ITunes. This means I have to notify my clients that a new version of the app is available via TestFlight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
