## About TestFlight
TestFlight is Apple's official platform for beta testing apps, games, and App Clips across all Apple platforms. It enables developers to distribute pre-release versions to internal team members or external testers, facilitating comprehensive testing and feedback collection before public release. Key Features and Functionality: - Seamless Tester Management: Invite up to 100 internal testers and 10,000 external testers without the need to track UDIDs or provision profiles. - Flexible Distribution: Share beta builds via email invitations or public links, allowing for targeted or broad tester engagement. - Comprehensive Feedback Collection: Testers can provide feedback directly through the TestFlight app, including annotated screenshots and crash reports, aiding in efficient issue identification and resolution. - Multiple Build Testing: Upload and test up to 100 builds simultaneously, enabling parallel testing of different versions or features. - Detailed Tester Metrics: Monitor tester engagement and manage participation effectively through insightful metrics. Primary Value and Problem Solved: TestFlight streamlines the beta testing process by offering a centralized platform for distributing pre-release apps and gathering valuable user feedback. ## TestFlight Reviews
 ### 1. Very useful way for testing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2016

**What do you like best about TestFlight?**

Before Test Flight was hardest to test a mobile app, because I need too much time every new release of software. With this product Apple has created the best way for testing a new mobile with reducing the amount of time between any new release.

**What do you dislike about TestFlight?**

Generally I like test flight, but sometime I receive too much notifications from it so It's not easy understand what are the real problems or what it works correctly. I think that with right configuration should be complex find the right way to use it, but it's important to learn just more bit information about.

**Recommendations to others considering TestFlight:**

Definitely yes. Everyone wants quickly a new app must use it.

**What problems is TestFlight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves me from waste time, so i have more time for spending about the development.

 ### 2. A great beta experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake V. | Founder, Financial Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2016

**What do you like best about TestFlight?**

Its great because you don't have to release your app to the world. instead you can just release it to a limited number of users. People can provide feedback and share their experiences with the developers.

**What do you dislike about TestFlight?**

I think that their should be a direct way to provide feedback and draw over screenshots to give more details to the developers embedded into the app.

**Recommendations to others considering TestFlight:**

Use it!

**What problems is TestFlight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This product solves the beta experience in a beautiful way.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan M. | Vice President International Operations, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2016

**What do you like best about TestFlight?**

If you are doing IOS development it is the only way to go. Work well and the process to push the app out for testing is simple.

**What do you dislike about TestFlight?**

I have not come across anything that I dislike at this point.

**What problems is TestFlight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have multiple people involved in the project and this is the best way to push out the beta to the stakeholders.

 ### 5. I use TestFlight to send builds of iOS products to clients

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2016

**What do you like best about TestFlight?**

Once you get a build to someone, it's actually very easy for them to install it on their phone and maintain updates, etc.

**What do you dislike about TestFlight?**

It's often difficult to get clients setup on iTunes Connect to send them builds. Either internal or external beta testing is required - internal requires setting them up with an iTunes Connect account, while external requires beta review.

**Recommendations to others considering TestFlight:**

It's really your only choice. Get up to speed with it as quickly as you possibly can.

**What problems is TestFlight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sending builds of new iOS apps and games to our clients. We've learned that TestFlight is legitimately the only real option, unless you have an enterprise account.

 ### 6. Used to test a loyalty app for customers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ash H. | Director of Marketing, Restaurants, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2016

**What do you like best about TestFlight?**

Easy to download and install pre-release version of apps.

**What do you dislike about TestFlight?**

When testing is complete hard to know whether to erase test version or update.

**What problems is TestFlight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Used TestFlight to test an app prior to it going live, which was immensely helpful for POS integration.

 ### 7. Complicated to setup but once you understand it, it works well

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael G. | Co Founder & iOS Engineer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2016

**What do you like best about TestFlight?**

I like that I don't need to provision new devices for beta testers, this is taken care of for me automatically.

**What do you dislike about TestFlight?**

Setup is complicated, especially the iTunesConnect portal.

**Recommendations to others considering TestFlight:**

Understand how it works and whether it is going to support your needs before diving in.

**What problems is TestFlight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're trying beta test our apps and software.

 ### 8. Works.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2015

**What do you like best about TestFlight?**

It's great to be able to have test users beta testing a iOS product before putting it into the apple store. Test Flight works with apple's other developer products like xcode, so although it isn't perfectly straightforward to get it up and running, there is a lot of support and documentation and it is the intended product to use for beta testing.

**What do you dislike about TestFlight?**

This is more of a complaint for the way adding beta test users is. It's hard to do in general, I don't think crashlytics beta necessarily does it better.

**Recommendations to others considering TestFlight:**

I would say you should use it. It's what apple intends developers to use so I expect it will only get easier.

**What problems is TestFlight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Beta testing iOs apps. Letting a select group of users try a product to give you feedback.

 ### 9. Apple exclusive now

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2016

**What do you like best about TestFlight?**

Tight integration with iOS and Mac development

**What do you dislike about TestFlight?**

Only works for Apple platform now. No longer compatible with Android.

**What problems is TestFlight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building an app for a fitness tracker
