## TestDome Reviews
 ### 1. Honest, objective candidate screening without the overhead

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

The critical reasoning tests give us a consistent, objective baseline before we invest time in interviews. We can compare
candidates fairly regardless of how polished their CV is. The percentile scoring is particularly useful — a raw score means little on its own, but knowing a candidate scored in the 93rd percentile tells us something immediately. The platform is simple to set up, the candidate experience is clean, and results are easy to interpret. We also appreciate being able to combine different tests into custom assessments tailored to specific roles.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

he cost — for a small to mid-sized company hiring across multiple roles, the per-invite pricing adds up
quickly, especially when you're screening high volumes of candidates.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CVs and checklists lie. Candidates self-rate 5/5 on skills they barely have, and you only find out after you've spent 30 minutes in an interview. TestDome gives us an objective filter before we invest that time. We've caught candidates who looked strong on paper but scored poorly on basic reasoning, and we've seen quieter candidates surprise us with high percentile scores. It reduces wasted interview slots and gives interviewers concrete data to probe against — "your TestDome score showed X, talk me through that" is a much better conversation than guessing.

The platform itself is dead simple — send a link, candidate clicks it, results appear. No integration needed, no training, no setup overhead. We were up and running in minutes. We use it regularly during active hiring cycles across both technical and non-technical roles.

 ### 2. Customizable, Proctored Assessments providing Candidate Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

It's a great way to assess a candidate's general knowledge around specific technical topics. I really like that you can create your own questions, including free-form and video responses which provide a more in depth look at a candidate's approach than simple multiple choice questions. The proctoring prevents cheating and now that the entire test is recorded, you can view everything the candidate is doing from start to finish.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

The engine for the SQL coding function is not the best. Although you can "run" your code, it often leaves candidates confused since it does not produce the errors and feedback an actual SQL environment would. Although the sample code/data is helpful, it's also not always complete. The newly introduced AI analysis is also flagging a lot of false positives but I'm sure that will improve.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the most difficult things to assess in an interview for a technical role is getting a feel for how technically proficient a candidate is. You can ask questions and provide scenarios, but unless you can actually see them code, you won't truly know how they would approach a problem. TestDome allows you to see exactly that. How they go about solving a specific problem at hand. You can see what functions they use, how they structure logic, and how much effort they put into ensuring their answer is correct. I do not use TestDome as a straight pass/fail tool, rather as a tool that gives me insight into how a candidate thinks and a baseline of what they know/understand. I've saved hundreds of hours by screening candidates with TestDome assessments prior to a follow-up interview. It also gives me a perfect way to know exactly what to ask and what scenarios to dive into in a follow-up interview with hands-on exercises. Overall, it gives me information that you can't otherwise obtain through a simple conversation.

 ### 3. Flexible, User-Friendly Assessments with Responsive Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

What I like best about TestDome is the flexibility and ease of use it offers. The platform does not require bulk credit purchases, which makes it more practical and cost-efficient for companies with varying hiring needs. Their helpdesk is also very responsive and helpful whenever support is required. In addition, the question library is extensive and offers a good variety of well-structured questions across different skill areas. Overall, the platform is user-friendly and easy to navigate, making the assessment process smooth for both recruiters and candidates.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

One feature I find challenging is the video proctoring function. For longer test sessions, the recorded videos can be difficult to load or review, which makes it less practical when screening candidates. Improving the loading performance or providing easier playback for long sessions would make this feature much more useful.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TestDome helps us efficiently screen candidates for their foundational skills, such as accounting, early in the recruitment process. It reduces the need for our qualified colleagues to manually assess technical competency, which shortens the overall hiring lead time. The platform also helps identify candidates who may interview well but lack the necessary foundational knowledge, allowing us to focus on applicants who can genuinely perform in the role.

 ### 4. Efficient Candidate Screening with Practical, Customizable Tests

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Camille B. | Talent Acquisition Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

As an employer, TestDome has been helpful for screening candidates early in the hiring process. The tests focus on practical, job-related skills, which makes the results more useful than purely theoretical assessments.

The platform is easy to use and doesn’t take much time to set up. Reviewing results is straightforward, and the scores make it easier to compare candidates quickly. We also like that tests can be customized based on the role.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

We don’t rely on TestDome alone when making hiring decisions, since timed tests don’t always reflect real-world performance. The pricing can also be a bit high for smaller teams.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TestDome helps save time and adds structure to our recruitment process when used alongside interviews.

 ### 5. Great Third-Party Testing Platform for Comparing Candidates by Results

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liz G. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2026

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

It is a third party testing platform that helps me compare candidates based on their results.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

Some of the questions can be a little too theoretical.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me decide between candidates by looking at their scores, how long they took to complete the test, and how quickly they started it after I sent it to them.

 ### 6. TestDome Streamlines Recruitment with User-Friendly, Reliable Assessments

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marika P. | Recruitment Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

As an employer, I can highly recommend Testdome. The platform is user-friendly and makes it easy to create, edit, and review technical tests. It offers a fair and transparent way to assess software candidates, which is an important and supportive tool in our recruitment process. The 'update emails' we receive make it easy for us to know whether candidates have opened, reminded or completed the test, and the option to extend deadlines where needed is a big plus. Overall, TestDome has made our recruitment process smoother and more flexible. Highly recommend it to any team looking for a reliable technical testing platform!

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

Honestly, there isn't anything we dislike about it.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this tool to screen candidates for technical roles, making our decisions solely based on their test results to determine whether they will proceed in the hiring process. As such, the technical test serves as a crucial and dependable step in our recruitment process.

 ### 7. User-Friendly and Efficient, But Needs More Language Options

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christina B. | HR Operations & Recruitment Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

TestDome is incredibly user-friendly and intuitive, making it simple to set up and manage assessments quickly. The platform’s interface is clean and straightforward, which saves a lot of time when creating tests and reviewing results. Their customer support is exceptional—responsive, helpful, and always ready to assist with any questions or issues.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

The only downside for us is that the tests are not available in French, which is a requirement for our team based in Quebec. Overall, TestDome makes the process of testing candidates smooth and efficient, and we hope to see additional languages added in the future.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use TestDome for both software developer roles and Excel-based roles. It makes assessing candidates so much easier and more objective than just relying on resumes or interviews. The tests give us a clear picture of their actual skills, which saves time and helps us hire the right people for the job.

 ### 8. An Outstanding Tool for Consistent, Insightful Candidate Assessment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derek M. | Software Development Lead, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2025

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

I love how easy it is to set up multiple skill-specific tests and give candidates a fair, consistent experience during their second interview. The test library is well thought-out, and the results are clear and actionable — we get a very accurate picture of a candidate’s abilities before making hiring decisions. It saves our team a ton of time while improving the quality of our hires.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

I would like to see more multiple-choice, multiple-answer questions available for each skill. This would allow us to further diversify our assessments and capture a wider range of candidate thinking styles.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TestDome solves the challenge of fairly and efficiently assessing candidate skills during our hiring process. Before using it, we relied on ad-hoc coding exercises and manual reviews, which were time-consuming and inconsistent. With TestDome, we now have a structured, standardized way to test candidates on the exact skills we care about.

This benefits us by saving hours of manual work, speeding up our interview process, and improving confidence in our hiring decisions. It also provides a better candidate experience — they know exactly what’s expected, and we can focus our interviews on deeper discussions rather than basic skill checks.

 ### 9. TestDome Revolutionized Our Hiring Process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2025

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

TestDome is fantastic. It has been a game-changer for screening applicants when we are hiring. We tailor the exams to test for skills that are important for our team members to have for various positions. Applicants must achieve a passing score before we will interview them. It really weeds out applicants who are not serious and don't take it, and also the ones who don't possess the relevant skills. Customer support is very good.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

I don't like that you can't set test expiration dates for each individual candidate with the "Invite by URL" option, and must use the "Invite by Email" option to do that. Otherwise, I don't really have any complaints. I would like to see the question library expanded somewhat, although it's a pretty good inventory already.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a valuable tool for screening job applicants.

 ### 10. Easy Test Setup That Streamlines Recruiting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cassandra P. | Recruitment Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

The ease in which you can set up new tests and invite candidates to streamling recruitment process is a solid feature.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

Sometimes the questions can be geared towards only American audiences.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

quick and easy access to a wide range of testing facilities to move a recruitment process along quicker, whilst ensuring quality of applicants.

 ### 11. Saves Weeks on Hiring by Screening Candidates Up Front

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

It saves us a ton of time during hiring process. Earlier we scheduled 30 min interviews with around 50% of candidates, now we send out the test before and afterwards only have interviews with 10% of the candidates. This saves us probably a week or two weeks of time for each hire.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

Sometimes test invite ends in a spam folder. Some candidates also reported that they haven't received any invite so I needed to resend the invite.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving us a lot of time and making our hiring process much shorter.

 ### 12. Intuitive, Easy to Use, and Packed with Extensive Question Selection

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

It is very intuitive and easy to use. Also the question selection is really extensive

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

The price :) I do understand the pricing though

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping my organization to assess the technical capability of developers, especially the junior ones

 ### 13. Real-World Skill Assessment Made Easy with TestDome

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ioana D. | Recruitment TL, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2025

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

I really enjoyed how TestDome focuses on real-world tasks instead of theoretical questions. It gives a much clearer picture of a candidate’s actual skills, and the platform is smooth and easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

For certain test types, the platform cannot apply automatic scoring, so a fail appears by default. We manually review these results to ensure a fair assessment.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When it comes to evaluating candidates for employment, I find that TestDome is an excellent platform for assessing their skills.

 ### 14. Excellent Testing Platform with Robust Security Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gagan J. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

TestDome is an excellent testing and interview site with rich set of questions for different languages and tools and technologies.

I have been using this extensively and will definitely recommend this site to anyone interested in testing for companies.

The proctors section and anti-copying features are very good.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

TestDome could have some advanced features such as helper files usage and cheat sheets for better test support.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy and appropriate question set selection and interview taking

 ### 15. Affordable and Unique Service with Easy Verification

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

This service is affordable and not as mainstream as others, which I appreciate. The verification process involves taking webcam shots. I also like that the subscription process is flexible and reaccredited when a candidate does not take the test.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

I would appreciate it if more languages were offered. Additionally, I think it would be beneficial to include questions about new frameworks, programming languages, and tools. It would also be helpful to see a percentage indicating the difficulty of each question, based on the total number of users who have attempted it.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has been a good way to filter candidates based on their technical skills as well as their professionalism. Some claim they have no issue taking the test, but after a week, they fail to show up. This process helps us concentrate on candidates who are truly reliable.

 ### 16. Found Testdome easy to use, with great questions to choose from.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

Easy, clear interface. Lots of challenging questions. Ability to preview questions or complete tests. Very easy to review candidates' responses.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

The last feedback I received from a candidate, lacking is the ability to review questions before submission.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps evaluate candidates for technical competencies and quickly filters out those with weak technical skills, reducing the time spent on interviews.

 ### 17. Effortless Candidate Management with Insightful Tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2025

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

As a recruiter, I value how easily I can invite candidates to complete a task and set a clear deadline. The reminders are especially helpful - if someone doesn’t take the task on time, we can cancel it without incurring any test fees.

The option to see the candidate’s photos while they work is also insightful; it often reveals a lot about the person and their attitude. In cooperation with my tech colleagues we don’t focus solely on the end result - thanks to the platform, we can track each candidate’s approach and thinking process, which is extremely valuable. The system provides information on whether someone cheated while completing the task, which allows us to be more vigilant towards that candidate.

We have recently started to use the video proctoring - good to have this option, too!

We also frequently refine tasks - particularly in the age of AI - to design assignments that can’t be completed using ChatGPT or similar tools.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

Disadvantages:

After sending an invitation to a potential user, it is not visible on any list - it only becomes visible after the user accepts the invitation.

It is not possible to resend an invitation to a user.

If the candidate does not complete the test on time, the invitation sent is wasted - the system does not cancel it automatically, which would be advisable.

When checking tests, there is no preview of the entire question, including the start code and additional materials.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to assess candidates' technical knowledge in a standardized way, minimizing the need for people with technical expertise to spend time on recruitment.

 ### 18. Excellent Proctoring Feature and a Smooth Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

The proctoring feature is very good! Nice

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

Creating custom questions seem a little difficult.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to interview candidates for hiring process and it made our lives easy!

 ### 19. Wide Range of Tech Questions and Categories

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

good range of questions to select, support wide range of technology, different categories of questions,

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

there should be an option to select language while giving the answer based on user's choice. currently only database related questions has this feature.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it helps to keep track, reduce time, better result summary

 ### 20. Quik & Helpful Customer Service

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy M. | Executive Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2025

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

Their customer service is prompt and efficient. My query was delt with in a timely manner with fantastic customer service! The website itself is easy to navigate and is used with ease.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

maybe having an online chat support would be good but other than that nothing else!

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is making our hiring process quick and easy to manage, which makes for us having a quicker onboarding process!

 ### 21. Used TestDome for initial technical screening of candidates

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rommel A. | Software Engineering Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2025

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

A good tool to weed out candidates that will not be worth spending 30 minutes to an hour talking to in an actual interview.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

Some UI quirks. Could use more stock questions.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most candidates that apply look good on their CV/resume and will eventually be rejected in the screening process. TestDome allows the screening process to weed out most of these candidates early, before a significant time is spent actually interviewing.

 ### 22. Well designed software, easy to use and effective

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2024

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

I've only been using this software for a short time, but so far I like it a lot. The interface is very well designed and easy to use. The list of availble questions is quite large and creating custom questions is easy. Overall it's a well designed piece of software. The concept of the 'Library' of questions, and the ability to organize them is excellent.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

The software seems to generate a lot of browser tabs for some reason. After saving a custom question it would be nice if it closed the dialog and returned to the library.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to use existing questions as well as our questions to come up with exams that allow us to screen potential hires for required knowledge

 ### 23. An indispensable resource for me since 2019

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John R. | Head of Group IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2024

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

I appreciate the very user-friendly experience and the complex, high-quality questions. Due to the quality of the tests (and we've been burned before with dshonest developers), we've expanded our use of TestDome from post-interview assessments to pre-screening testing. There is excellent tracking of candidate statuses and high-quality questions available. It's great for technical tests and is attracting interest from other departments within the company.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

Company logos would be a nice touch if it could be added.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It addresses the issue of dishonest developers. Often, I've had to deal with false claims in CVs, and these individuals fail the TestDome tests when they claim to be skilled in certain areas. TestDome exposes those who are not genuine.

 ### 24. An excellent platform for skill evaluation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Asma A. | Human resources assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2024

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

TestDome provides comprehensive and reliable tests that effectively assess both technical and soft skills. The platform’s intuitive interface and detailed reporting make it a great tool for hiring managers.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

While the platform is highly effective, it could benefit from offering more customization options for tests and expanding the variety of skill categories available

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TestDome helps streamline the recruitment process by providing accurate, standardized assessments for various skills. This reduces the time spent on manual screening and ensures we hire the most qualified candidates efficiently.

 ### 25. Inaccurate test measurement of real world situations

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2024

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

Easy set up
Nothing else I like about TestDome

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

1) Not accurate of real-world situations. For example, it requires the candidate to calculate financial ratios where the real world use case would be to cite if the ratio is favorable/unfavorable and ways to improve it.

2) Does not properly recognize or calculate partial answers accurately. It is based upon an all or none solution (100% or 0%). Many scores are either 100% or 0%. TestDome's algorithm is not accurately detecting partially correct responses (if you are not accurate to the second decimal point it is marked as incorrect) and penalizes you if you are not exactly matching their response.

3) The system has manybugs. Their example graph is not an accurate depiction of what they requested and scored 100% on what I submitted.

4) The Financial section was composed by non-Finance business individuals. The questions are not as relatable to the real business world.

5) The scoring system is skewed. You can get a score around 70% but yet be in the 99th percentile. To me, that means the test is too skewed, algorithms are not accurate, and incorrectly scoring tests.

TestDome should be aware that these test results affect the continued candidacy of job applicants so their accuracy and product should be significantly improved.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None. The product is antiquated and needs much improvement.

**Official Response from TestDome Team:**

> Hi,

Thank you for your feedback. Regarding your concerns:

1) Only number-picker and fill-the-blank type questions require calculating a number and typing in the answer. However you are free to choose any question you want on your test, as well as create your own questions.

2) This is not true. Partial scores are always recognized and included in the calculation of the total score. The only exception are questions that cannot have a partial answer, such as multiple-choice questions that allow selecting only 1 answer out of several options. You can find more details about our scoring system here: https://testdome.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/44002267103-question-types-and-scoring

3) We're not sure what you mean by example graph. Are you referring to the score distribution shown on each question? This is calculated after at least 100 candidates solve the question. Employers hiring junior candidates usually use Easy questions, while those hiring senior candidates tend to pick Hard questions. This is why the score distribution can be misleading if you compare questions with different difficulties, as Senior candidates often score better on Hard questions than Junior candidates do on Easy questions. Also, what is considered a “Senior” candidate can vary between different companies, depending on their understanding of seniority. This is why you may notice some candidates achieving scores that are noticeably different compared to the score distribution chart.

4) Our finance questions were developed with experts in the field who have both academic knowledge and wide real-world experience. However, they were designed to be broadly applicable to financial situations, so may not map precisely onto specific sectors or experiences.

5) It's possible to get a score of 70% and be in the 99th percentile if the test is hard and few candidates get a high score. However you decide what the passing score is, so you can increase it for harder tests.

 ### 26. Dramatically improved the evaluation process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew S. | Chief Marketing and Data Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2024

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

Hiring is hard. Finding out if the candidates ability matches the resume takes several round of interviews. This can be expensive for the business when you factor in the cost of time. Testdome can do some of this vetting upfront and in a much more cost effective way.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

It can get expensive if you want to vet every candidate and it would be nice if it could integrate into evaluation platforms. My hope is they continue to expand their question pool.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To evaluate technical ability, I would need to schedule interview time with developers. This is expensive. Testdome lets me do this more cheaply. Plus, it tests the character of the candidate as the test is an upfront time committment.

 ### 27. Fast and easy to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Farzeen M. | Talent Acquisition Business Partner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2024

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

Our company recently started using TestDome to administer online tests to candidates as part of a wider selection process. It has been a smooth process from the beginning, set up was fast and easy and we were able to use the tests immediately. The platform is straightforward and has excellent feautures such as cheating protocols. Igor in particular has been very helpful and responsive.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

None experienced at present as we have just started using TestDome.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing us to filter through candidates and understand their skillset better, leading to higher quality interviews.

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

The amount and breadth of questions in the library covers anything you'd ever want to test on. It is so easy to set up a test and share with candidates.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

Pricing is a little confusing and it's quite expensive!

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am the hiring manager at my company and I am not technical so creating tests on Test Dome to screen for skills before passing off to final interviews is extremely helpful in saving time and ensuring we're interviewing quality candidates for each specific position.

 ### 29. Easy to use, challenging for the candiates

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2024

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

Very easy to add tests in.

Multiple answers are accepted as they are based on passing tests rather than the specific code needed.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

Once a single person has completed a test you cannot edit the settings (such as turning off showing results to candidates), so a whole new test is needed.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are allowing us to give the candidate short code challenges (under 30 minutes), which will enable us to see if they overcomplicate the task.

 ### 30. Takes the hassle off technical evaluations of job applicants

- Technical evaluations can take a lot of time, but with TestDome it's super easy to go through any number of applicants
- Without a dedicated tool, it's difficult to have a standardized benchmark for technical testing, but with TestDome it's all standardized automatically

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

The platform focuses on practical, real-world tasks rather than theoretical questions, allowing you to see how candidates would perform in situations similar to what they’d encounter on the job.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

Depending on the number of candidates or tests required, the cost can add up quickly, making it less suitable for smaller companies or those with limited recruitment budgets.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problem solving and attention to details

 ### 32. It's a great tool to pre-screen candidates.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

In some cases, AI proof tests can also be solved using cahtGPT and not recognised by TestDome.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many candidates claim to be at a senior level, their resumes are very nice, but in interviews it turns out that they actually not. Testdome is a great tool to assess the real knowledge of the candidates and to do a pre-screening before the oral interview.

 ### 33. TestDome impressed us with its user-friendly interface and extensive library of pre-constructed test

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Remco V. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2023

**What do you like best about TestDome?**

One of the standout features of TestDome is its ability to create customized tests tailored to our specific needs. This flexibility has allowed us to evaluate candidates on the exact skills and knowledge that are relevant to the positions we are hiring for, resulting in a more efficient and effective screening process. Testdome automates the grading process, saving us a considerable amount of time.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

While Testdome has significantly streamlined our recruitment processes and contributed to more effective candidate evaluations, one area that could see improvement is the Pricing Structure. The platform is on the pricier side, and while the features and benefits justify the cost to a large extent, a more flexible and affordable pricing plan could make it more accessible to small and medium-sized businesses with limited budgets.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testdome has been a valuable asset to our recruitment toolkit, enhancing our ability to assess and select the right candidates quickly and accurately. The platform’s extensive question library, customizable tests, automated grading, and user-friendly interface have contributed to a positive experience overall. However, a review of the pricing structure could make this excellent tool more accessible to a broader range of organizations.

**What do you dislike about TestDome?**

When you are working on a test, and need an external person to look it over you cant simply send a PDF, you would have to take 1 million screenshots to have them look at both questions & possible answers.

**What problems is TestDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Digging in on technical aspects of candidates that are beyond my scope before we send them to engineers

 ### 35. Testdome!
