The seemingly customized pieces make it perfect for any ticketing or development department. Learning tessitura took time and energy—which nonprofit arts organizations should schedule into onboarding new employees, so that they don't have to learn on the fly—but it was ultimately helpful for tracking our donors' attendance, their gifts, and processes for soliciting support from individuals and foundations. Tessitura isn't intuitive; it takes time to get the hang of it, which can be frustrating, and it has its own lingo that doesn't translate over into other programs with similar functionality.
