It does a really good providing various options for deploying Oracle using native cloud infrastructure. You don't need to rely on Exadata to provide HA & DR capability which is a common requirement for critical apps that are used to running on bare metal RACs. It really simplifies mgmt of underlying infrastructure with great efficiency. **What do you dislike about Tessell Platform?** Its not a limitation against Tessell itself as a DBaaS, but setting up the cloud space requires collaboration with the cloud admins to make some 1-time policy changes for the solution to work. Once its set up, then everything works correctly. **What problems is Tessell Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** Going from managing physical RACs on-premise to a PaaS/DBaaS helps reduce labor costs & maintenance. e.g. Tessell handles all the OS & Oracle software patching for us. ### 3. We leverage Tessell platform for customer hosting azure environments which minimized the operational and infrastructure overhead extensively. **What do you dislike about Tessell Platform?** Tessell usually does not offer on-demand pricing for longer run. From functionality and capabilities perspective, Tessell offers various features that minimize our day to day infra maintenance **What problems is Tessell Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** We leverage tessell as managed oracle database service. We scaled from collecting data from 100 vehicles with 100 sensors every 2 seconds, to 500 vehicles with 200 sensors every 2 seconds, all while reducing our hosting cost by 50%! We now have over 10 TB of data, all cost effectively serviced and ready to continue scaling.
