Several years ago when I first took over management of my hotel I realized that the small company I waas working for did not have a service awards program. I started the search and found Terryberry. They have been amazing to work with. We are a small company with half a dozen hotels. they work with your budget and send out very professional Service Awards Packages prior to the employees special day. This is a great way to encourage not only managers, but employees as well, to recognize good behavior. It adds an extra layer of visibility, helping people acknowledge and show appreciation for the things that are often taken for granted or overlooked. I also like that there’s a selection of rewards for employees, so they can choose items that have value and meaning to them. That feels much nicer than a generic gift card or other less personal forms of recognition. It’s easy to use, and the user interface is straightforward to navigate and understand. One thing I disliked was that birthday and milestone recognitions disappeared immediately after the date passed. I like the options that Terryberry provides, especially when it comes to aligning gifts with different phases of seniority, such as 5, 10, 15, and 25 years, and the value for each selection category. This flexibility is great. I also like their billing system—it's quite straightforward. Employees find the platform easy to use, and I enjoy the newsletters and ideas for further employee engagement and peer-to-peer recognition. I use Terryberry for our employee recognition and engagement programs, and I find it seamless and extremely easy to use. I love that it allows us to provide points to recognize employees. The point system is great, and so far, we're totally in love with the Terryberry platform. I really like its functionality and the fact that it reminds me when I can provide points to employees. The transition from our homegrown system to Terryberry has been much better, and the initial setup was extremely easy with their assistance. Every year we customize our gifts per recognition award level, and the reps at TerryBerry made it a very efficient process. I love that we had the ability to customize the front opening homepage for our staff. We created a custom graphic that showcased an employee so it feels familiar to our staff. What do you dislike about Terryberry? My biggest issue that I have had with terry berry is the interface and reporting for the admin on the account. My wish is for the ability to click on a persons name in the directory and be able to see everything associated with that person in one spot. All of the communication sent out, the awards that person has redeemed, when their next award will be sent out... having a comprehensive landing page for each person would be amazing. It's really hard when I am researching an account for someone who is claiming that they never recieved their award and I have to click multiple places to get to the communication, then click another link to see if they redeemed an award and then a whole other report to see tracking and when it was shipped.
