We just send an email when an employee needs to be recognized and their milestone year. We pre-set the gift selections per milestone during the setup, so once the milestone notice is identified, it is easy to request. Terryberry sets it up and sends the communication the recipient. Once the recipient selects their gift, they are mailed based on how you set up your distribution. We have all sent to our corporation office for personal delivery. Terryberry is very organized on the implementation of services and guides you through the process. **What do you dislike about Terryberry?** The cost is a little high, but worth the service. It does take a couple of weeks once the recipient selects their gift to receive the gift in the mail. So, make sure you give plenty of time for this. We are a retail organization with high turnover, expected for this business, and time is definitely an issue for us. **Recommendations to others considering Terryberry:** Terryberry is a great company. Their ultimate goal is be a partner to companies in recognizing employees. They are always trying to see if there is more they can do and keeps you up to date on the service award recognition trends. **What problems is Terryberry solving and how is that benefiting you?** This helps with longevity within our organization. Employees enjoy being recognized and having them select their own gift is received very well. Employees can select an item that is best for them instead of receiving a clock or a plaque for a specific year. We send him a quarterly spreadsheet with names, emails and milestone anniversaries, and he takes care of everything else. Our employees really like that there are so many choices for them to choose their award from. The catalogs are beautifully done and showcase the products very nicely. **What do you dislike about Terryberry?** The mark up on gifts seems high. I understand Terryberry needs to make a profit, but some awards seem excessively out of what would be considered a normal markup. **Recommendations to others considering Terryberry:** Compare the customer support to what Terryberry offers. I think you will find that Terryberry is a cut above the others. **What problems is Terryberry solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed a way to recognize our employees for milestone anniversaries as well as spot awards. Terryberry offers many reward levels that each have a wide variety of gifts to choose from. There is something for everybody. I know that I can receive feedback at least within 24 hours, but typically it's even within the hour. In addition we've had some issues that came up with employees (DVD player broken or they lost their packet) and Dan and Ann were great to work with in getting either the product replaced or getting me the necessary information for that staff member to order their gift. I also appreciate the ease with employees ordering gifts. I submit a number of packets for the year and hand them out to employees, but other than that the administration is very minimal. It makes it so the company doesn't have to do much and Terryberry takes on all the labor. **What do you dislike about Terryberry?** One issue that we've had in the past is products not being to a certain standard. I've only had to replace three gifts in the six years I've worked with Terryberry so this isn't a huge issue, but still something that has been difficult. I will say that the customer service was top notch when getting these items replaced. **Recommendations to others considering Terryberry:** I would say that if you want a product that allows you to sufficiently recognizing employees while taking the stress off your plate then Terryberry is the product for you! **What problems is Terryberry solving and how is that benefiting you?** Terryberry helps the Foundation award and recognize our employees as they reach milestone anniversaries. In addition, they are saving us so much time. Prior to Terryberry we would have a staff member go out and purchase the gifts for the employee. This saves time and also allows the employee to choose their own gift, making it more special. Also, the fact that they mail the gift to the employee is HUGE! Especially as we are working from home right now - I don't know what we would do to recognize employees at this time without Terryberry.
