Termite is a verified microtask marketplace connecting brands with a fast-growing workforce of real people across Africa. Businesses post small, well-defined online tasks, including app reviews, user sign-ups, social media engagement, consumer surveys, and AI training data labelling, and get them completed by vetted human workers who submit proof of completion for every job. Every task on Termite runs on a simple, transparent loop: a brand defines the task and budget, a worker picks up the mission, completes it, and submits proof such as a screenshot, link, or text confirmation. The brand reviews the proof and only releases payment once the work is approved. Budgets are held in escrow throughout, so brands pay only for verified results and workers are guaranteed payment for approved work. Termite was built to solve two problems at once: it gives brands access to an affordable, on-demand, and genuinely human workforce for tasks that are hard to automate, such as authentic app reviews, real sign-ups, social proof, and labelled AI training data, while giving smartphone-owning workers across Africa a legitimate way to earn from their own time, with no CV, interview, or joining fee required. Because every task requires proof that only a real person taking the action could produce, Termite is designed to keep bots and fraudulent activity out of the marketplace, giving brands confidence that the reviews, sign-ups, and data they receive are genuine and verifiable. Workers build a track record and rank up through tiers as they complete more verified missions, creating an incentive for quality and consistency over time.
