"A fantastic tool for tracking intent and interest of clients/prospects"

What do you like best?

I like the ability to see live results and dive deeper into the site visits done by prospective clients. This gives me an idea of the engagement they have with my company and what they might know before I call. I also like the self service aspect of this solution compared to others in the market. I can go in and update what I deem to be high value pages vs brand awareness pages.

What do you dislike?

I do find sometimes there are inconsistencies in the data that shows for clicks and site visits. I'm still relatively new using it so it could be just getting to know the solution better.

It's definitely worth a trial period. You will be amazed at how much information you will learn.

I'm making informed decisions rather than taking shots in the dark. We are conducting more directed and focused campaigns based on the issues and interests of our prospects.

"ABM Secret Weapon"

What do you like best?

It has allowed us to target specific departments from key accounts. Our customer success manager has also been extremely helpful and very responsive throughout my entire experience with Terminus. I would consider Sara one of the biggest reasons for being an advocate of the product.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes there is a lack of flexibility with what you can/can't do. There is also a 2-3 day delay in when you submit a campaign/tactic to when it goes live so you definitely have to plan your strategy/process around that.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Terminus has allowed us to get extremely personalized through our paid channels when it comes to ABM, allowing us to target not only key accounts/companies, but also specific departments within that. This has allowed us to do so much more with our marketing dollars because we're not wasting thousands of dollars targeting all of the wrong people. This also allows us to add deeper personalization through paid channels as well to any accounts that we are one-to-oneing.

With Terminus, we were also able to identify which accounts to target next, which has helped us significantly to better understand where to allocate marketing resources.

"Love Where Terminus is Going"

What do you like best?

The people behind this platform are attuned to what B2B small and mid-sized businesses need to make ABM happen. Love the ability to target accounts at such a granular level and excited for the new capabilities post-Brightroll acquisition.

What do you dislike?

Tracking reporting and the lack of integration outside of salesforce but it's getting better. I also hear the integrations are being built out in the new year.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Prepare before you head into launching the product. There is a lot you can do to really take advantage heading into the onboarding process. Get your sales and marketing teams aligned and work with whichever internal or external party that is responsible for your creative. There is a ton to get done before you can really reap the benefits of the platform but if you approach it properly, you're set.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Increasing awareness among accounts in our clients' pipelines and the ability to really penetrate organization's structure to get to the right audiences.

"Rockstar Software for ABM Ads"

What do you like best?

The simplicity, targeting, expertise of staff and the potential of the product.

Terminus has been excellent and a vital piece to our ABM execution. The fact that I can create a campaign with the SFDC integration, define parameters, load creative and push it live is so simple! As accounts progress down through the buyer's journey I can automate specific ads and content to accounts. Terminus soon will have native integration with LinkedIn so I can automate the process of serving up LinkedIn ads, but all within Terminus. Even though Terminus has some great resources I still ask our CSM a ton of questions, however, I never feel like a hindrance. Our CSM, Ryan, has been a proactive and helpful resource as we elevate our account to its potential.

What do you dislike?

1. Their product interface isn't the best and can be clunky. It's simple but could use some help for a better customer experience. The impression over clicks graph is too simple though, I have to hover over areas on the graph to get day-specific data.

2. Ad placement isn't visible and I have to ask my CSM to get that data.

3. Department targeting doesn't show you what job titles are included in each. I had to ask my CSM to help define that.

If you're targeting smaller businesses your reach may be limited, especially if you want to only target a specific department.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Generating first-impression brand awareness to prospective accounts, serving up relevant content down the funnel and staying top of mind throughout the buyer's journey. We've been able to generate a ton of brand awareness to some top-notch accounts and really has been great to test our messaging and content offerings.

"Easy-to-use software for any ABM program but needs some refining"

What do you like best?

• Simple to use and easy to get up and running

• Product features are getting better and better (site id, LinkedIn integration, etc.)

• Customer Service is awesome and really responsive

• You can turn off a specific account from getting ads served to them. Really powerful when trying to allocate a specific spend to an account.

• How targeted you can set up campaigns and tactics is powerful in ABM

• Value brought to our business is amazing! We’re getting huge companies engaging with our ads, which helps Marketing get buy-in from leadership on ABM and display ads as a piece of our ABM playbook.

What do you dislike?

• Reporting is minimal and I feel as if it’s an afterthought for the product

• The Interface is too simplified and hard to interpret the graphs on the dashboard without hovering

• Data getting imported into your dashboard is inconsistently delivered. Sometimes it’s 24 hours, other times I wait three days before the data comes in or I find myself contacting my CSM to ask why it’s not importing.

• Limited to 12 or 15 (can’t remember) tactics in your account. Wish default was double that.

• Limited to 500 accounts in one tactic although it's probably better not to have more then you run into the tactic limitation.

• Ad Library needs some work and could be organized better for the user to easily pull or reuse ad creatives. Ad tags should be a feature to help organize, report on and reuse previous ad creatives.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Getting engagement from and warming up accounts before outreach to contacts within those accounts. Driving more brand awareness too, that's been huge for us!

"The Best ABM Execution Software"

What do you like best?

We're really pleased with the ease of use, account insights with the visitorID, recent addition of Surge data and the ability to quickly launch ABM tactics. Terminus has allowed us to get started with ABM quickly and to start seeing results and ROI.

"Terminus Has Played A Key Role In Our Account-Based Marketing Initiatives"

What do you like best?

The ability to target specific accounts with display advertising. Also being able to see which specific accounts are visiting the website. The integration with Salesforce allows seamless workflows to move prospects from one campaign to another, making it easy to move people down a journey to engage with your brand.

What do you dislike?

There are a few adjustments on the interface that can be made. Also the LinkedIn API integration is very limited — can only target a max of 200 companies for a LinkedIn Sponsored Update via Terminus.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I am enabling 1 to 1 advertising air coverage for my Sales organization. I have realized the benefits of keeping our brand top of mind for prospects we've engaged with and the ability to get the attention of larger accounts by strategically providing value to them.

"World-class Customer Success and Support"

What do you like best?

The Terminus Customer Success team is an extension of our marketing team. They advise on strategy, aid in planning, and make recommendations the whole way. I've worked with Sales, Customer Success, Support, the Executive Team, etc and their #OneTeam shines through every conversation I have with "Terminators".

I've been thrilled with Terminus and the success we've seen with the platform.

Ensure that, at least for the first year, you have a dedicated CSM - and utilize that resource. Our CSM has been invaluable in driving our ABM strategy.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We were 100% inbound before coming to Terminus. Since coming on board, we've Identified target accounts better and moved our model to an all-bound model that enables our sales team to prospect on accounts that are already exploring our solution. That insight is invaluable.

"Great team and platform to grow your digital ecosystem to new heights"

What do you like best?

I really like the simple yet advanced insights we can get on how many we've reached from every account, what other potential accounts are visiting our site and the engagement spikes we can set across blockbuster content on our site. Our AE, Sara, is also top-notch. I don't think I've ever gone 24 hours without an answer to one of my many questions as we got going. Solid team and intelligent platform.

What do you dislike?

Not sure I have anything I dislike about the platform. Probably my "dislike" would be that with me implementing across other brands in our enterprise, I wish all of our brands could be as advanced with Terminus as our original has grown to be!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are using it for a heavy lead generation engine. It has really brought the idea of omnichannel account-based marketing full circle, as we can drive a variety of messaging based on what the individual account is doing and alert our SDRs when key account activity has taken place on our site.

"Best in Class Platform for the Progressive Digital Marketer"

What do you like best?

Terminus is an easy to use, powerful, and highly effective display ad platform. Its ability to highly target display advertising works magic for your Marketing budget, making the platform one of the most cost-effective tools I use today.

What do you dislike?

Some features/UX that you would expect from a premier cloud-based platform like Terminus are missing. The product is hugely effective, but it definitely feels like it is still under development.

If you have the option, make sure you visit their office and meet the team. They are doing some awesome stuff.

We are using the platform to generate awareness in new segments, build adoption with existing clients, and to track engagement at key accounts in order to better inform the sales team of key account activity.

What do you like best?

Ability to directly target best fit accounts and titles for our campaigns

Since we don't use Salesforce don't get to unleash full integration potential, but know they are working on future integrations that will benefit our use cases.

Directly targeting best fit accounts as part of our ABM strategy and helping to create top of funnel awareness. In our rist "beta" test of 1:1 campaigns we also drove 11 new contacts from a leading target account within 2 weeks of launching.

"Good service but onboarding and support are lacking"

What do you like best?

Terminus are the leaders in this space for a reason. They have a competitive price and a solid technological backing to what they offer.

What do you dislike?

Account management teams can be lacking. The support is decent but honestly they don't offer much when you talk with them. It almost feels easier to learn things on your own.

Some of the issues with their tech can be annoying - especially the lack of dynamic text/targeting like some of their competitors.

Recommendations to others considering the product

This is a great place to start your ABM efforts and they offer a pretty solid and competitive product. If you're getting into ABM and need to have a lower / flexible budget then Terminus is an amazing choice.

Targeting unique clients in areas we are attempting to expand to. Finding the right thought leaders and decision makers who can purchase our product.

"Account based revenue here we come!"

What do you like best?

Two things. One, the onboarding with our CSM has been phenomenal. Probably the most "white glove" SaaS onboarding we've ever gone through. Two, ease of use. Marketing is only a part of my job and optimizing bids across display networks sounds like hell to me. I love that with Terminus I set my goal, building my inclusion list, add my creative, set a budget and BOOM the magic happens behind the scenes.

What do you dislike?

This is nitpicky but I'd love to be able to build list in Salesforce reports and then allow Terminus to just use that report. Rather then building the list in a Salesforce report and then (again) in Terminus.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We don't do any PPC because we aren't a mass market company. Terminus let's us include display advertising as a layer in our account-based outreach built around small account lists. After only a quarter, we're already seeing increase traffic to our site and brand recognition at the C-suite

"Automated Marketing for the Masses"

What do you like best?

Personally, I really enjoy how seamless the application is as a whole. Terminus is a very cool tool, one that accurately targets your companies ideal audience through IP Addresses and cached browsers. As long as you have quality content (i.e. good advertisements) and can build reports in your CRM, Terminus is a very cool tool to get your product seen.

What do you dislike?

The integration with Salesforce is almost completely manual, this means anytime a field is added, the user is required to inform Terminus. In other words, Terminus just pushes information into Salesforce. It isn't a 1:1 relationship, it simply does not pull any updated information.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Terminus is a great tool as long as you have a significant advertising budget. Make sure to confirm you have your set advertising budget in place before you proceed as you will quickly realize the expenditure required.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The business problem we were looking to solve was to increase the number of MQL's we were receiving on a monthly basis. Terminus accomplishes this by getting our ads to those who we deem acceptable. Through our use of Terminus, we have seen significant increases in our number of visitors, MQL's and opportunities generated as a whole. Other benefits include; reigniting lost opportunities, maintaining a solid relationship through our content with our current customer base, as well as personalizing our advertising platforms to target our ideal prospects.

"BrightFunnel is a Gamechanger"

What do you like best?

BrightFunnel has given us visibility that we have never had before. Our Demand Gen team is able to see true attribution and ROI on all campaigns and assets (not just the lead generating activities) to help drive decision making on where we invest our Marketing dollars and which campaigns/channels are working vs. which are not. The way that BrightFunnel is set up makes complete sense and fits very nicely into our current tech stack and processes, yet the BrightFunnel team is extremely responsive to small customizations as needed to make the tool work for us. The BrightFunnel team is very knowledgeable, easy to work with, and they have been a true partner to us throughout the implementation process.

What do you dislike?

I can't think of anything we dislike so far. The only challenge (which isn't much of a challenge at all) is that there is so much insightful data in BrightFunnel that I want to ensure our team isn't overwhelmed and can effectively use the tool, but BrightFunnel has helped identify initial use cases & reports for phase 1 of rollout and we will continue to evolve with it as the users get comfortable. BrightFunnel user interface with the dashboards and reports is intuitive so I don't expect it will take long.

Recommendations to others considering the product

First of all, Multi-touch attribution as a function is worth it. We are a mature Marketing organization and are continuously optimizing our existing tech stack & processes, but Multi-touch attribution is a big gamechanger for us. We identified our key requirements (some of ours included: the cost of data in SFDC, API calls, time to onboard, cost, digital tracking, cost/roi data, attribution, flexibility with product customizations, how well the vendor will partner with us), reviewed with our leadership teams, had demos with a lot of vendors, and BrightFunnel was clearly the best fit for us.

We are rolling out the tool to Demand Gen, Product Marketing/Vertical Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Sales, Executives, and Customer Success for a variety of use cases to drive decision making and increase our overall ROI on marketing spend:

"Easy to Use, Great Way to Target Accounts at Scale"

What do you like best?

Super user intuitive. Very easy to get started and running. LOVE that it's a self-service option so I can control my campaigns 100% without having to rely on anyone at Terminus to get them launched. Also, it's great you can target tons of accounts (up to 500 per tactic) whereas other systems you can only target a couple hundred. It allows me to scale so I can have tactics that to just one company, all the way up to 500 companies. I LOVE the customer support I get. My Terminus account manager is extremely responsive and helpful - you truly get 1:1 support, which isn't the case at most technology companies any more.

What do you dislike?

I don't like that there is no great way to run a ton of 1:1 campaigns. 1:1 campaigns are most effective for me but due to being limited by my current subscription of 15 tactics there's no way I can run more than a couple at a time, since I need most of my tactics for other campaigns. To go up any further in the subscription doesn't make much sense to me since at that point our monthly Terminus technology spend would be more than our monthly Terminus media spend.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you want to implement campaigns quickly, make changes quickly and have 100% control of your campaigns, Terminus is the best platform I have found. Also, if you plan to target a lot of accounts in different ways, it's going to be your best bet.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Account based marketing. It's been great air cover for us to get awareness up in our accounts. The 1:1 campaigns in particular are effective in helping us getting meetings. We've also benefited by non-ABM campaigns including pre-event campaigns for tradeshows we are attending as well as customer campaigns promoting our own user conference. So it's benefited us in ways we didn't originally anticipate.

"Brightfunnel and Salesforce - the perfect match"

What do you like best?

The Brightfunnel team has an exceptional understanding of marketing attribution concepts. They combine this with a very deep level of experience with Salesforce.com. They know exactly how Salesforce works - its strengths and weaknesses as a marketing tool. As a result, they were able to truly understand our business processes and challenges and show us exactly how to meet our needs for multi-touch attribution reporting.

Beyond that, the implementation team was extremely professional throughout the implementation - prompt, articulate, and thorough! They offered numerous customizations within their platform to provide a flexible solution that was exactly what we needed.

What do you dislike?

The only complaint I have as a busy person is that I want reports to load faster. However, I appreciate the amount of complexity involved in their analytics and am willing to wait 10-20 seconds for some of the reports to load. They appear to be constantly working to fine-tune the user experience and performance has improved since we first got started.

Multi-touch attribution is a very difficult concept to truly wrap your arms around. In today's martech, you deal with everything from web forms, to Google Analytics and AdWords, to CRM, marketing automation, and even phone call tracking (thanks Invoca!). Brightfunnel has provided us with a centralized reporting platform that unifies all of these different sources. We are now able to run reports on-demand that were previously run manually once per month or that were not even possible for us to tackle.

We've been very happy with our experience with Terminus so far. 100% glad we switched from the last vendor we had been using. The only thing we've found to be lacking is rep level reporting, but I spoke with their product team and it sounds like it's on the near-term roadmap.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

With Terminus, we're able to spend our advertising dollars on reaching exactly the accounts - and the users within those accounts - that we care about. Because Terminus is integrated with our Salesforce instance, we're able to automatically target accounts with active opportunities the moment the opportunity opens. And we're able to get ads in front of new accounts that our sales reps are targeting. We're getting our ads in front of the eyeballs we care about and marketing is better aligned with and able to support sales.

"Excited to be along for the ride!"

What do you like best?

We have been with Terminus for over a year, and it has been so exciting to be right alongside you as you have grown. We feel that there are constantly new and exciting announcements and improvements being made based off of customer needs.

Lack of targeting outside of North America

Sign on with Terminus! Even if there are some capabilities lacking, Terminus is growing and improving so rapidly. They listen to their customers and act accordingly.

What do you like best?

Terminus allows for us to target our segmented accounts with the right messaging at the right time. The built in reporting helps us prioritize which accounts to work.

What do you dislike?

Terminus has been great for us, my only dislike is that reports load slow occasionally but that is very minor!

"BrightFunnel is a game-changer for marketing attribution"

-Flexibility to customize the way you want to see the data

-This is not so much a knock on BrightFunnel, but just a point about setting up any tool like this - you can only get out what you put in. So your data must be clean. Your Salesforce must be set up correctly in order for the tool to work well.

Well worth the investment, but make sure you put in the time required to set it up. Once you set it up, it is easy to use.

You can clearly see which of your marketing campaigns are the most effective and you can prove ROI. It always shows the customer journey. You can start understanding how many campaigns an closed won deal touches, on average. You can understand if your webinars are effective, if your content marketing is effective, if your events are effective. I found the data to be very clear and extremely helpful. I HIGHLY recommend Brightfunnel.

"Pillar in our ABM Strategy"

What do you like best?

I first heard about Terminus by reading their CMO Sangram Vajre's book on ABM, which sparked our journey to focusing our growth strategy in this direction. The education they offer has been invaluable in the months since.

The technology platform itself is intuitive and I found it possible to launch a campaign in minutes. Analytics and reporting provide insight into the ROI of our investment here without cluttering with information we can't act on.

Our account manager, Ryan Schwartz, has been an amazing partner in helping us succeed by planning strategy and checking in proactively with suggestions on how we can optimize our campaign.

What do you dislike?

We sell exclusively to the hospitality vertical and targeting options seem a bit limited to the unique job titles in this business. Also, company targeting is limited to North America right now, though I understand this will change in 2018.

"Great customer success team"

What do you like best?

I love working with Cassie DiBella, our customer account manager. She is so hands on with our account and is invested in our success. We have bi weekly calls for 30 min and our meetings are very productive. She shares what is working within other accounts she sees and provides recommendations around content, budget, segmentation etc. She also sends me educational content that is specifically targeted for my needs like the LinkedIn Terminus webinar as well as a Rosetta Stone blog post and more. She is also very willing to submit custom requests to the support team to make my life easier. For example if I need to make a change to the audience in a terminus campaign, instead of me duplicating the campaign and updating the audience several times, she will get it done on the back end. She also takes the time to point out the successes we are having with our target accounts.

What do you dislike?

Even though I really like most things about Terminus, there is opportunity to improve reporting. Right now I am unable to see month over month trends in one view

"Brightfunnel - Numbers are Guidelines"

What do you like best?

Disappointed is really where I am now with this product. The metrics collected currently are not presentable . When meeting with the team they suggested that BrightFunnel should be used more as guidelines not reportable metrics. I hope that they solve this - but for now it really all we can use this for.

"Excellent ABM display tool with great account support"

What do you like best?

SFDC sync, integration, live look up into SFDC allows serving ads only to open opportunities or only to prospects to accounts without opportunities, whatever audience you choose. You can use any SFDC data for setting your audiences.

Matching on specific titles and roles within our target account is amazing!

Clear progression rules so you stop serving ads as soon as the account does not match the criteria.

Excellent sales and on-boarding experience, and I'm very impressed by our account rep. They will work with you and customize everything so you achieve your goals.

What do you dislike?

UI is good but it's work in progress. Some functionality is only available as custom on-demand reports.

"Outstanding team and support"

What do you like best?

Incredibly easy to use! The UI is incredibly simple, and the integrations with Sales Force makes it very flexible.

Team is outstanding. CEO is down to earth, CMO is a thought leader in the space, support is incredibly responsive and helpful. I get the feeling that they are deeply interested in our success.

What do you dislike?

Matching is too broad and vague. Getting ads in front of "HR" at a smaller company might be perfect but putting ads targeted to "HR" at a large company means the ad probably won't apply to 90% of the audience. There are specific HR groups and titles we need to be targeting at those larger companies.

Terminus is a start-up company, so it's not very feature rich yet. However, the features they do have are great and very well-developed. In addition, their leadership knows where they need to go and is taking them there. The product is improving every day.

"Terminus Review"

What do you like best?

Platform was very easy to use. Simple to upload creative and easy to view reporting and dashboards. I really liked the insights it provided to those who were visiting your website and the path they were taking. I liked that the software would show a display of how your ad would appear on a specific website. The graphics and insights to how each piece of ad creative were performing were also beneficial.

What do you dislike?

As of the time I used it, I couldn't generate my own reports. I needed to reach out to my account manager for data. The data didn't get granular enough at the time.

Highly recommended software. If you're a Hubspot user, their software integrates into Hubspot with ease and you can setup automated emails and triggers based on activities that occur from your Hubspot campaigns. KickFire is also integrated so you can see who's visiting your website, even though you're not targeting them. You can setup campaigns based on those visitors.

We were just getting into account-based marketing, so we were able to target specific companies. We were able to generate additional web traffic and awareness which we didn't have before.

"Best way to target your top-of-funnel contacts"

What do you like best?

So simple to use, while enabling incredible insights into impressions and contacts. Also, our sales rep was great. Very helpful and personal, but also realized the termendous cost to implement so he was careful not to be too overbearing.

What do you dislike?

Cost is higher than I was hoping, but the ROI conversation cannot be overlooked. If you need more leads (espeically from another vertical) you need to consider AMB, and Terminus does it best.

Anyone who knows that they need to grow their reach quickly should look to Terminus. Start-up does take a little while, but that is because they want to ensure your success with the product.

"Eye-opening insights! "

What do you like best?

Simplicity of use; the pre-built reporting provides CMO executive summaries as well as allowing deep-dives into Channel performance and Campaign attribution with a single click.

What do you dislike?

The admin area isn't fully built out to support custom admin, but the team provide real-time support for any requests I have.

Recommendations to others considering the product

GIGO (Garbage In, Garbage Out) - Don't make the mistake in assuming BrightFunnel will automatically fix your attribution or highlight your top Marketing campaigns; there is still a certain amount of discipline required in setting up your campaigns correctly in Salesforce and being rigorous in how you set expectations, input costs and time periods etc. Setting these fundamentals early on will allow BrightFunnel to be even more impactful for your business needs.

Having worked in database management and struggled with data hygiene for reporting for 10+ years, Bright Funnel changed my life as a Marketing Analyst. I spend more time delivering insights to the business, time that I used to spend manipulating and cleaning up bad data. "It Just Works."

What do you like best?

The Terminus platform is great because it's service and it just works. Its very user friendly, and honestly it just works. As soon as my assets are ready, I can get a campaign uploaded for review in minutes. I don't have to talk to anyone or dig through instructions, I can handle it all on my own. It is worth pointing out though that you do have support if you need it. The Account Team at Terminus is great at checking in, providing best practices, sharing updates, etc. With a platform that is as easy to us as this, they don't really need to put any effort into account management, but they still do.

What do you dislike?

I'm not sure if there is anything I actually "dislike", and the few things that I know needed improvements, have already been updated or are on their 2017 roadmap. And they're simple, more convenient things then anything with functionality.

When we were looking at AMB platform options, Terminus was the one that allowed us to be fully in control, and we love it. If that's what your looking for (no worries the support is still there when you need it), Terminus is right for you too. Oh and the price is right too.

We work in a very targeted B2B environment, so we've always avoided mass marketing (like digital ads), because we'd be wasting resource. With Terminus, and ABM we now have the ability to target specific companies in our target demographic. "Excellent Product - Enables Marketers to Easily Measure Performance"

What do you like best?

BrightFunnel has an easy to use interface and a pretty intuitive way of showing metrics related to campaigns and programs. It has definitely been a time-saver for our marketing operations team to be able to point various stakeholders (especially the field group) to relevant reports where they can see the performance of their events and programs.

What do you dislike?

Because so many of the reports are out of the box and controlled, there are some limitations to customizing how you see and filter your data without working with support. Exporting data has some limitations as well.

Our immediate business problem was the accessibility of reliable reporting on attribution across campaigns and by events. "Excellent Tool for Implementing Account Based Marketing "

What do you like best?

Terminus enables you to hit key accounts based on any criteria that exists within Salesforce which is great. The pricing model is much more flexible than other ABM solutions which is beneficial as well although it would be nice to have the option for a CPC model vs a CPM model (just a suggestion but not really a big issue)! Additionally the sales and support teams have been extremely attentive and helpful from start to finish. They are always able to assist with any questions in a timely manner.

What do you dislike?

It would be nice to have more reporting capabilities to help with optimization and reporting such as the ability to see which job functions have the highest performance. It is a young tool so I am sure more features will be added as it is developed.

If you are looking at ABM solutions you should definitely take a look at Terminus. It not only is a more cost effective solution compared to other options but enables you to have more control with your programs. It seems to be a younger tool but they are definitely moving in the right direction and it already has a lot of robust features.

"A Bootstrapping Account Based Marketer's Dream"

What do you like best?

For the price point, you can't beat it. It is easy to use, quick to get a campaign rolling and has a great dashboard that allows me to give details on the performance for each target account. The Terminus sales and support teams have been great to work with. They have been super helpful from the first evaluation through continuing support and campaign check ins. (Huge shout out to our CSM, Franklin, who is a total rockstar and quickly responds to all my questions with clear and concise answers!)

We are already seeing early results and upticks in traffic from our top tier accounts.

What do you dislike?

There were some sync issues with our reporting dashboards around the holidays but they addressed those very quickly and they didn't effect our campaigns at all. Given at some point each account will have its own dedicated campaign, the number of campaigns allotted per pricing tier is a little low for our long term needs. We will definitely need more campaigns running as we scale up our ABM efforts, but it isn't an issue currently.

If you are looking for an easy to use tool, that you can be up and running campaigns quickly and make sure that all your impressions are served to the right group of people in the organization Terminus is the tool for you. It is so budget friendly and the team is out to build long term relationships with their customers and help guide you to success through campaign reviews, best practices even offering tips on creative. We have been really pleased with them so far.

"Solid Ad-Serve Tool, new features are excellent"

What do you like best?

Very intuitive, the roadmap recently has had a lot of value for us, especially the two-way sync with Salesforce to drive actionable insights to the sales team. Terminus feels very committed to our success.

What do you dislike?

I wish it would directly connect with Marketo, our MAT, in addition to Salesforce. At present, we have to use Salesforce as a go-between to attach marketing activity to an account, which can be unwieldy at times.

In addition, the amount of manual work our success manager (who is excellent, to be fair) has to do for us is a bit frustrating. The new Visitor ID function could be more actionable.

Lastly, the ability to edit our creatives is limited only to the link, instead of the actual creative image, and the delay in approving can lead to fuzziness when updating and either overlap or dead periods.

Excellent for serving to high value accounts and opportunity acceleration. We've been able to quantify internal champions at prospect accounts by tying activity to Marketo.

"Flexible UI, Great SFDC Integration, Awesome Support!"

What do you like best?

The support team goes above and beyond helping you out and showing you each feature within the product. It can certainly be challenging to learn the in's and out's right away, but your CSM rides shotgun with you the entire time - from implementation, to on-going support and strategic direction.

What do you dislike?

Terminus limits the number of campaigns or 'tactics' as they call them, which forces you to really think about how to structure your campaigns. Also, because the platform is so robust, it's hard to start executing campaigns out of the box without support - but that's not really a knock against them.

"Big On Theory, Low on Results"

What do you like best?

The setup, support and customer service were top notch. We had a dedicated rep with bi-weekly calls to try and work through success. With some problems, we were able to speak to high board members to try and figure out solutions.

What do you dislike?

ABM is a mindset and we bought pretty well into it. However as the tool was implemented, we just never saw action from the advertising. Seeing hundreds of thousands of impressions go out and thousands of clicks, none ever completed any action (which is pretty unfathomable) or potential clients never confirmed seeing the ads. This made me want to test the company matching ability that the tool is built on with my own company and quickly it was apparent the matching was wrong.

I would want some proof that the targeting works before buying.

"Great Customer Experience"

What do you like best?

Our dedicated rep is helpful and responds quickly to all of our questions, especially as we have never done account based marketing before. When things went wrong they offered us a new service free of charge which we really appreciated.

What do you dislike?

For people who have never had account based marketing experience before, we could use even more guidance/ideas on campaigns to run and how to optimize!

If you have never run an ABM campaign or used an ABM tool before, you may need some extra help from your account rep, or do to research on the side. It's important to know how to use the tool to get the most out of it, but there isn't a ton of training. Ask questions and utilize your rep!

"Exceeding Expectations! They are an extension of my marketing arms. "

Taylor and the terminus team have gone above and beyond to help support our marketing efforts. I am pulled in many different directions and Taylor keeps me focused on our accounts, keeps me updated on new roll outs from Terminus, lets me know when I need to renew ads and how my campaigns are doing.

"Transforming our Marketing team with campaign performance and attribution metrics"

What do you like best?

The implementation and configuration process are best in class! The whole BF team are great to work with. We have a solution that we can rely on for accurate campaign ROI, which is helping inform our investment decisions. Have 4 attribution models are also great, as we can answer different questions with each one. We've made 3 different customizations to better fit our business model and all were executed well and quickly.

What do you dislike?

The data loading is slow from time to time. The new dashboard was just released so I'll need to spend more time on that to see if I can create our CMO's dashboard from here, as opposed to going to BF & SFDC.

I recommend vetting a few scenarios: 1) as a campaign manager looking to report out on a specific campaign, event, or roadshow; 2) as Mktg leadership trying to figure out where to cut budget; 3) as a Mktg team trying to figure out what combinations of programs/tactics have been working with the largest recent deals.

"Great Product and people "

What do you like best?

The product is easy to use for marketers, yet provides full marketing contribution analysis. It is easy enough for marketers to use directly while at the same time being very comprehensive in what it provides. The help text and the organization of the text is well done and also helps.

What do you dislike?

Global filters seem to be flaky, they work sometimes and then not work other times.

I would like the ability to select account attribution, and opp role attribution on the fly. Account is perfect for reviews with marketers, op role is better for sales. We have not tried to re-configure at all and have been discouraged to do so.

Great Company and Software. I found the process where we integrated with SFDC as shockingly easy. This really made the bring up process painless and fast.

"A better view."

What do you like best?

BrightFunnel has given us a several new ways for us to view campaign attribution and account based marketing. We can view our entire marketing history and segment the data by each business group with ease. There are almost too many ways to slice the data but it gives every group with in our marketing org is able to leverage BrightFunnel to discover the relevant insights for their team.

BrightFunnel has been a great partner, spending the time to make sure we get the most out of their tool. They respond to our teams needs quickly, are transparent when issues arrive and resolve them quickly.

What do you dislike?

The learning curve with BrightFunnel can be steep. There is so much going on and if you don't have a clean process in SFDC integration can be slow.

"Transformed view of Marketing Campaign Performance"

What do you like best?

**Multi-touch Attribution**

BrightFunnel transformed our SalesForce data to give us real insight on how our marketing campaigns are driving revenue. Before Multi-touch, we were relying on the "Primary Campaign Source" field in SalesForce for pipeline/revenue attribution. This field was unreliable/inconsistent as many different people had different ideas of which campaign should be considered the "primary" source. Now, we get the full view of ALL of the campaigns influencing opportunities.

**The People**

The BrightFunnel team has been a pleasure to work with. Their support team responds quickly and has always resolved my issues. The Customer Success team stays in constant communication with me and my needs have even driven new product features and other changes in the product based on my feedback.

What do you dislike?

I think the product is lacking in some data visualizations. There are some very useful graphs and data representations in the product, but also some that are not helpful to me.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Be prepared to communicate through all of your metrics to understand how you want BrightFunnel to process your SalesForce data. We spent a lot of time re-iterating on our implementation as we worked toward a consistent definition for attribution, what counts as a marketing touch point, etc.

Make sure your exec team (or whoever will be looking at BrightFunnel data) is on board and has a say in this process. You need to understand what metrics are important to them to ensure you are using BrightFunnel to full effectiveness.

BrightFunnel has really helped us optimize our Marketing Campaign budget. We have been able to identify our less effective campaigns and re-allocate that budget to other Marketing campaigns to drive better ROI.

BrightFunnel has also helped us improve internal communication by bringing confidence to the data. We have built trust around the BrightFunnel Reports as a consistent data source. Before, there was inconsistency in metrics/data being reported on by different departments which muddied the waters when trying to make decisions.

"Fantastic customer support, the integrations side could use some work"

What do you like best?

The regular check ins with a dedicated CSM make you feel like you are a valued customer, not just a number. The advice they give and tactical support are great.

What do you dislike?

They have announced a bunch of product integrations/enhancements over the past few months but are slow to deliver on them. Still waiting for the LinkedIn feature to be ready, as well as the intent surge information from Bombora.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Make sure you have sales on board and they will use the data to inform their prospecting activities. Using ads that are tailored based on industry has worked really well. Make sure you put a cap per account so you don't waste $$$ on some of the Enterprise companies you might be targeting.

We use Terminus to serve ads to target accounts and to run industry-specific programs. I also use them to track website visits from target accounts.

The insight into which accounts are engaging in our programs is really helpful. However, not very useful if sales is not incentivized to act on this data (not a Terminus problem; but be aware that if you want to get value out of tools like Terminus, make sure sales is onboard before you start paying money).

"Great platform for testing and running full programs"

What do you like best?

Terminus is easy to use on the front end and easy to understand on the back end. The platform has allowed us to run small-scale tests that we simply couldn't before, so that we can vet our strategy before rolling out expensive display programs. We use both the list upload function to run programs based strictly on account lists, and the dynamic campaign building features for campaigns based around account and lead profiles. The reporting is robust enough to get us what we need.

The customer success team is also GREAT, helping us build programs using functionality that we can't access in the tool. T

What do you dislike?

I would like to see better folder-type options to help manage the creative library, and I wish there were a "contains" filter option to help us utilize the SFDC integration more fully. I'd also like to see better A/B testing functionality (although we are able to run tests fairly well using workarounds).

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Terminus enables us to include display advertising as a layer in our ABM campaigns built around small account lists (as ABM lists should be). We can swap creative in and out quickly based on performance.

"BrightFunnel provides great insights in your marketing initiatives!"

What do you like best?

I could see how marketing initiatives we're touching each opportunity whether it be closed, forecasted to close or open. This provided great insights that Marketing could provide Senior Leadership to attribute to the sales pipeline. Second, I could see $$$ each marketing initiative was bringing in relative to overall business. Third, I could see what campaigns or events provide ROI and which attributed less than expected.

What do you dislike?

That it didn't integrate with HubSpot for data purposes for additional campaign, website, or automation insights, that I couldn't directly link to Salesforce or BrightFunnel's web snippet.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Consider that you are going to need 2 experts to lead to take BrightFunnel live. A person dedicated to BrightFunnel on a day to day or week to week that knows what your senior leaders want BrightFunnel to answer AND a person with expert knowledge in Salesforce that understands how it will correlate with marketing attribution.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

BrightFunnel showed our company's senior leadership the correlation between marketing initiatives and how they attributed each closed opportunity to the sales pipeline. We are also able to show exact ROI of event, not just in it's current state, but 6 months, 1 year, and 2 years down the line at a simple search.

BrightFunnel provides the opportunity to course correct if you aren't provided enough focus on what particular area of marketing, for instance, through the web snippet, we saw that we could focus more on website SEO and traffic.

"Critical Tool for Multi-Channel ABM"

What do you like best?

Terminus makes it easy to add targeted display ads to our multi-channel ABM programs. Display ads are a must for us, as it improves brand awareness in our target accounts. With Terminus, we can be smarter with our ad spend, as we know we're only hitting prospects at our target accounts. The user interface is clean and straightforward, their customer service is excellent, and the real time reporting keeps us informed on how our target accounts are engaging.

What do you dislike?

We have to call in to officially get our campaign live. UPDATE: Yay, this has been improved and we can now digital launch a campaign.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our ABM programs involve direct mail, emails, and phone outreach. We run Terminus ads in conjunction to this outreach to introduce our brand and keep us top of mind. Because we can be targeted with our ads, we are getting much more out of our investment.

"Showing Early Signs of ROI"

What do you like best?

The ease of use is really great. The team at Terminus boiled down a potentially complicated technology to the easiest it can be. Uploading creative and setting daily budgets is very simple. I also like the distribution point to Facebook built in to the product.

The support is great. When I reach out I get a fast response and they take the time to dig into our account when needed. They get on the phone when needed and I always feel they are accessible.

Most importantly the product is showing some early signs of providing ROI.

What do you dislike?

The match rates for list uploads still need improvement. I've talked to the team at Terminus about this and they know it's an area of opportunity for them. While it's an issue right now, It sounds like they have a good product roadmap to address this issue.

Your results will likely vary depending on the target and verticals you are trying to execute against. Talk to the folks at Terminus about your goals and targets before you begin. That will likely help avoid any missed expectations after the purchase.

We are using account based marketing to 1) Drive Awareness 2) Increase email open and response rates 3) Increase pipeline close rates.
