Tenant Buddy is property management software built specifically for Canadian landlords and property managers - from a single duplex to a 500+ unit portfolio. Most rental software is a glorified spreadsheet, and most of the serious options are built for the US market. Tenant Buddy is neither. It pairs everyday property management - automated rent invoicing with late fees, online tenant payments, leases with e-sign, maintenance requests, work orders, and vendor management - with a real accounting engine underneath: a true general ledger, a customizable chart of accounts, multi-period fiscal years with year-end adjustments, journal entry batches, budgets, and proper GST/HST/PST handling with effective-dated rate tiers. Because it's Canadian-built, the reporting actually matches how you file. Rent rolls, income statements, and AR aging sit alongside CRA-ready reports that map to T776 line items, plus year-end rent receipts for tenants. Manage properties across Ontario, BC, Alberta, and every other province from one account. A tenant portal lets renters pay rent, view leases, pull receipts, and submit maintenance requests without calling you. Pricing is transparent, per-unit, and in Canadian dollars — every feature on every plan, no tier gating. 45-day free trial, no credit card required.
