Honestly there is no downside. Maybe I haven't used it long enough, but I used the free trial time to rebuild all of my screens from the old system. We just purchased it today with 3 days of the free trial remaining. All I have to do now is add the updates as they come in from the various departments. We were using another product / system which was not easy to setup, configure so we made the switch to try Telemetry TV. Their documentation and ease of setup will cause us to convert our existing signs from the old system to Telemetry next year. The web interface is very easy to use and figure out how to create content or just use existing apps with content. I created a playlist in a few minutes and had staff remark at how professional looking the new signs were in our common areas. The templates, backgrounds are really nice to have and add a new dimension to our announcements without having to do a bunch of extra work, so much is available to build a really nice "show" with little to no effort on your part. No major challenges, the only problem we had was getting Google Chromebits to play video content. They are very simple devices and not really designed for that type of playback. Telemetry support was great helping us figure this out and recommend other devices for where we wanted a video-rich playlist to be running. TelemetryTV is one of the most cost-effective and user-friendly interfaces for getting digital signage in your business. I tried several other companies before I found them, and there were very complex processes of either needing to use their proprietary hardware, or paying super expensive fees when I'm just a small business with simple needs. I finally found TelemetryTV and was drawn by not only the low pricing, but also that it worked on my ChromeOS devices without complicated Enterprise licenses. There's not a lot to dislike about the system! Sometimes there's a network hiccup with the InfoTV app that I use, where it won't be able to reach YouTube to play a video, but those issues have been resolved for the most part, and their support team is very quick to respond and troubleshoot.
