A lot of them are close to similar, but Telemetry came out on top of it. This due to professional look and feel, user friendliness and its features of granular user rights, MS PowerPoint, Google Slides, support of wide range of apps, no device needed and helpcenter. **What do you dislike about TelemetryTV Digital Signage?** Making your own board can be tricky and not flexible. We prefer making boards with MS PowerPoint and upload it to Telemetry. It also has some very nice data integrations for things like calendars and social media. I've used most of the major digital signage CMSs out there and Telemetry is again the easiest to use by far. **What do you dislike about TelemetryTV Digital Signage?** In TelemetryTV scheduling is done at the page level. Meaning if you have the same playlist but you need it to be played at different times on different players you'll need to make a different playlist for each player. This makes it a little more tedious to do scheduling then some other CMSs. **Recommendations to others considering TelemetryTV Digital Signage:** If you need a simple digital signage solution that's very easy to use this is a great choice. **What problems is TelemetryTV Digital Signage solving and how is that benefiting you?** I needed to make an internal corporate signage channel that showed calendar events, weather at our various offices, tweets from some specific accounts, and some internally relevant rss feeds. Setting this up took me a grand total of about 15 minutes. I'm basically hopeless when it comes to making things look pretty. Luckily this CMS has a bunch of nice designs and such built in so my channel looks about a billion times better than I could have made it look on my own. ### 31. Their documentation and ease of setup will cause us to convert our existing signs from the old system to Telemetry next year. The web interface is very easy to use and figure out how to create content or just use existing apps with content. I created a playlist in a few minutes and had staff remark at how professional looking the new signs were in our common areas. The templates, backgrounds are really nice to have and add a new dimension to our announcements without having to do a bunch of extra work, so much is available to build a really nice "show" with little to no effort on your part. **What do you dislike about TelemetryTV Digital Signage?** No major challenges, the only problem we had was getting Google Chromebits to play video content. They are very simple devices and not really designed for that type of playback. Telemetry support was great helping us figure this out and recommend other devices for where we wanted a video-rich playlist to be running. Not a limitation of Telemetry but just of the Chromebit device. **Recommendations to others considering TelemetryTV Digital Signage:** Highly recommend for an easy to setup, configure and get started system. I signed up for the demo, provisioned 2 Chromebits we had and was up and running with signs in less than an hour. Was one of the easiest implementations I ever had. **What problems is TelemetryTV Digital Signage solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a school and wanted a way to interface with visiting parents and community members on school events, important annoucements, etc. People get thier information from multiple sources these days, we figured in addition to social media systems we could also relay information with digital signage. This will be our first year using the Telemetry program on common area TV signs but so far it is working out great for us. We also have two TV signs in our cafeterias that I will be converting to the Telemetry program next school year so we are all on the same system. ### 38. I tried several other companies before I found them, and there were very complex processes of either needing to use their proprietary hardware, or paying super expensive fees when I'm just a small business with simple needs. I finally found TelemetryTV and was drawn by not only the low pricing, but also that it worked on my ChromeOS devices without complicated Enterprise licenses. And the user interface is super simple to get up and running quickly! **What do you dislike about TelemetryTV Digital Signage?** There's not a lot to dislike about the system! Sometimes there's a network hiccup with the InfoTV app that I use, where it won't be able to reach YouTube to play a video, but those issues have been resolved for the most part, and their support team is very quick to respond and troubleshoot. **Recommendations to others considering TelemetryTV Digital Signage:** You really can't go wrong giving this system a try and see if it meets your needs - it's definitely one of the most user-friendly and full-featured systems out there, and you can use your own hardware with no licensing fees. **What problems is TelemetryTV Digital Signage solving and how is that benefiting you?** The obvious benefit is being able to display my logo, weather, and news on TV's around my business. But my favorite feature is the "overrides", where you can set something to display manually or on a recurring schedule. My business is rental based, where I have customers come in and rent my facility every day. So at the same time in the evening, it displays the cleaning checklist and other notes on all the monitors for my customers to reference. ### 41.
