As an independent auto dealer that services our own vehicles (before they hit the lot for sale) primarily and occasionally does outside (retail customer) work, Tekmetric has provided us with all of the tools necessary to properly keep track and manage our shop. As our operation has grown, so has our need for a GOOD SMS that helps me as a manager keep track of what's going on in the shop. The software is easy enough to use that I can even allow our technicians to do 75% of the R.O. management from creating the R.O., creating job lines, to ordering parts and taking payment. In addition to that, the software also provides the depth in information and tools that I need as a manager to make sure everything is running smoothly as it should. Tekmetric has integrated flawlessly with all of the services we already used and their onboarding team made all of the setup a breeze. The one thing I can say stands out to me the most about Tekmetric and has easily become my favorite "feature" is that with all of the integrations available, you can practically run your entire shop from one web-page. There's no need to have a million different tabs open with a million different websites and logins all trying to do the same thing -- you can just do it all through Tekmetric.

I don't see any direct downsides to using Tekmetric. Coming from ShopBoss, Tekmetric has a lot more depth when it comes to features and reporting versus ShopBoss and the integrations within Tekmetric make all the other SMS look outdated.

Using Tekmetrics integrations and detailed reporting, we've been able to push really hard into the "retail work" side of our business without allowing the "internal" side of our business to suffer.

Where speed of service is essential to have the bandwidth to serve customers with empathy and compassion, there is only one program! Tekmetric is clean and user-friendly! If you can use a smartphone, you should be able to Jump in and start changing lives with Automotive Service Excellence! I have used Shopboss, R.O. Writer, and Mitchell to write estimates at my previous jobs, and Tekmetric is by far my favorite application for creating tickets. Everyone thought Def Leppard was over when the drummer lost an arm, no more stick twirls. No more crazy drum fills; the future was very DIM. How could they follow up Pyromania? How could a software company follow up the trusted programs?? BY KEEPING IT SIMPLE. That's why I love Tekmetric, and that's why HYSTERIA was the Biggest Def Leppard ALBUM ever! Taking it back to the basics, letting the kick and snare fill the arena, while Steve Clarke(R.I.P.) did spins around the stage shredding melodic solos. Just like myself, headbanging to Pantera blasting through the speakers in the shop while going out to a car to check it in with my iPad and having the recommended maintenance already on the ticket before I walk back in the shop. I feel good about it.

I have no issues. Personally, The frequent updates keep making it better. I love the feature where you can make suggestions and they get resolved.

Because Tekmetric is web-based I have access to it anywhere. I have it in the parking lot, at home, basically, anywhere I have 5g or wifi on my iPad. I never feel like I am out of the loop. Very Convenient. Inventory, returns, credits, cores, are alot easier to keep up with than any other competetors.
