That will make us open a new file everytime. If we have it in the taskbar, we can directly select from there **Recommendations to others considering Tekla Structures:** This software is good for you if you are looking for one which helps you design individual components of a building. This also helps in calculating the wind and seismic loads for a whole building, preferably single story. The fact that different versions of Building codes and steel and concrete manuals are readily available to use in your design is very helpful. **What problems is Tekla Structures solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use this software on a regular basis for any project we design. We prepare calculation reports from this software by exporting the design results into a word document and then converting it into a PDF. I am currently using it to design the individual members of a building, be it a beam or a column or a joist or wall or footing. All of these can be designed in different trades such as concrete, steel, masonary etc. ### 6.
