## Teamwork Chat Reviews
  ### 1. Efficient Communication, Easy Setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cathy L. | Owner/Founder, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Teamwork Chat?**

I love how Teamwork Chat is web-based, which means I can access it on any device easily. The notifications feature is great because it helps me stay connected even through email if I'm not signed in. I like the ability to attach files and search through chats for important information, which is really helpful. It's really handy to organize communications by client or 'work group' like the design team or writing team, to keep projects on track. The setup was super easy, especially compared to learning the Teamwork project software. Plus, it's great for having a communication system specific to our agency partner, keeping our internal agency communications separate.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork Chat?**

We haven't encountered any issues yet!

**What problems is Teamwork Chat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teamwork Chat reduces my email volume, provides quick notifications, and helps organize communications. It's easy to connect across devices, attach files, and search chats, keeping projects on track.

I like using Teamwork Chat because it makes team communication and project management easy. The analytical breakdown is good, and the chat assistant features are really cool and knowledgeable. I appreciate the security because it respects privacy within communication. It's a complex suite with various security measures in place, and I haven't heard any complaints. I also enjoy the plug-and-play simplicity of the initial setup.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork Chat?**

I’m very impressed, I see nothing being wrong

**What problems is Teamwork Chat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Teamwork Chat for quick updates, coordinating locations, task and document management, and handling emergencies. It eases team communication with project management and insightful analytics.

  ### 3. Efficient Team Communication, Needs Faster Load Times

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priya C. | Operation executive

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Teamwork Chat?**

I like Teamwork Chat's thread and huddle features. The thread feature helps to discuss related things in one chat, keeping everything organized. It connects everyone working on projects and keeps all the project-related chats organized in one place. The huddle feature is great for daily stand-ups, making discussions easy. All the things are easily accessible, and it maintains records for all tasks, allowing for immediate questioning and responses. The initial setup was very easy, with basic processes and a user-friendly UI.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork Chat?**

Sometimes old chats take too much time to load.

**What problems is Teamwork Chat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teamwork Chat keeps my team connected, organizing all project-related discussions in one place with its thread and huddle features. It makes everything easily accessible, retaining records and enabling quick responses to doubts.

  ### 4. Great for Real-Time Collaboration and Project-Connected Conversations

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sebastian P. | QA Engineer Lead, Marketing and Advertising, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Teamwork Chat?**

I use Teamwork Chat for real-time communication, quick updates, file sharing, and coordinating project work. It keeps our team connected during daily standups and helps us resolve issues quickly. I especially appreciate how smoothly it integrates with our projects, which has made organizing our work much easier. When we need to discuss a bug or test case, I can link the conversation directly to the related task in Teamwork Projects, which is incredibly useful. The file sharing feature is also very efficient and saves us a lot of time; for example, if a test fails, I can instantly share a screenshot or log file in the appropriate project channel.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork Chat?**

The platform offers limited integrations; when compared to Slack or Teams, it does not support as many third-party services. Additionally, its search functionality is weak, making it difficult to locate old messages or files, particularly in channels with a lot of activity.

**What problems is Teamwork Chat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We rely on Teamwork Chat for real-time communication, sharing quick updates, exchanging files, and coordinating our projects. It brings all our conversations together in one place, keeps project context and files organized, and integrates smoothly with our workflow. This helps us stay connected and work efficiently.

  ### 6. User-Friendly but Channels Can Be Noisy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Farah B. | Senior Manager People and Culture

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Teamwork Chat?**

I like that Teamwork Chat is easy and user-friendly. It speeds up thinking and acts as a common brain, boosting reflection and creativity when sharing thoughts, inspiration, and ideas. The initial setup was also quite easy.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork Chat?**

I find the noise to be a constant distraction, and there are too many channels, which makes it overwhelming. The noise also hides what's most important, making it hard to focus on priorities.

**What problems is Teamwork Chat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Teamwork Chat to share news and successes with colleagues, chat, and organize tasks.

  ### 7. Great for Organized Team Chats and Project Sync

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shobhit D. | Research Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Teamwork Chat?**

What I like best about Teamwork Chat is how seamlessly it integrates with Teamwork Projects, allowing our communication to stay directly tied to actionable tasks and milestones. The interface is clean and distraction-free, making it easy to focus on work without getting lost in threads or off-topic chats. Features like real-time messaging, file sharing, and team-specific channels help our cross-functional teams collaborate more effectively—especially during project crunch times. I also appreciate how easy it is to search past conversations, which saves a lot of back-and-forth and helps maintain transparency across the board.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork Chat?**

While Teamwork Chat is great for focused collaboration, one thing I dislike is that the mobile app can sometimes feel a bit limited compared to the desktop version. Notifications can be delayed or inconsistent at times, which impacts responsiveness when working on the go. Also, while the integration with Teamwork Projects is strong, I’d love to see more third-party app integrations (like Google Drive, GitHub, or Slack-style shortcuts) to make the workflow even smoother.

**What problems is Teamwork Chat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teamwork Chat is solving the problem of scattered communication by centralizing all team conversations in one organized, project-linked space. Instead of relying on endless email threads or juggling multiple messaging apps, my team can collaborate in real time, stay aligned on project updates, and quickly resolve blockers—all without leaving the Teamwork ecosystem. This has improved our response time, reduced miscommunication, and helped us maintain clarity on who’s doing what and when. The tight integration with task management means conversations are actionable, not just noise.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah M. | Partner Care Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Teamwork Chat?**

Teamwork Chat has greatly improved over the years our organization has been using it. This platform is a great tool to keep our team connected and on the same page. We are able to have separate chats for each team and project and link them to a specific project in the Teamwork Projects platform as well. You can search historic chats if you want to find previously discussed information, and users can be added or removed (by the chat channel admin/initiator) as needed. It's easy to see who is in a chat channel, and the ability to rename a chat channel makes it easy to distinguish which channel is intended for which discussions (when you remember to utilize this feature).

**What do you dislike about Teamwork Chat?**

It would greatly benefit us to have a feature to "Mark as unread" and allow these chats to appear at the top of the recent chats. When out of the office or in a meeting, chats can get lost if you open them (whether intentionally or not). You can star a message (or bookmark it depending on which application you are viewing from), but it's not as easy to view or remember to return to these chats.

**What problems is Teamwork Chat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teamwork chat allows me and my team to stay connected without interrupting each other's focus. When our team has questions or a problem to solve, we are able to send a chat and teammates respond as quickly as they are available. Problems get solved, regular updates are shared, and the team continues to get work done while communicating with each other. This platform has helped us stay on the same page on days when we are working from home as well.

  ### 18. Simply great

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Teamwork Chat?**

Teamwork chat is a great collaboration resource which, makes it easy to manage workflows and maintain productivity. Finding information is effortless within chats, and content doesn't get lost in the clutter, like other apps I have used in the past.

**What do you dislike about Teamwork Chat?**

I majorly disliked nothing; however, I'm not a personal fan of using emoji within a work setting.

**Recommendations to others considering Teamwork Chat:**

There are some good, simple overview videos available which is worth watching before setting up.

**What problems is Teamwork Chat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using Teamwork Chat to manage projects as part of a team. I find that it's easy to collect and make decisions, which ultimately has sped up work processes compared with a more formal email setting.
