TeamWheels is an employee carpooling and commute platform that lives inside Microsoft Teams. Instead of asking employees to download yet another app, TeamWheels runs as an AI agent in the chat tool they already use every day. Employees offer a ride in plain language ("I'm driving to the office Tuesday at 8am, 3 seats") and publish it in one click, or ask "Anyone going home tonight?" to get the best matches by route and time with one-tap join requests. Drivers accept or decline from a card; everyone gets confirmations, cancellations with alternative rides, and 24h/1h departure reminders in chat and in the Teams activity feed. TeamWheels also helps colleagues share seats for offsites and company events, and gives HR, facilities and sustainability teams company-wide carpooling stats (trips, seats filled, match rate). Companies use it to reduce Scope 3 commute emissions, cut parking demand and commute costs, and make return-to-office easier. Zero rollout friction: no separate account, Microsoft Entra ID sign-in, deployed from the Microsoft Teams Store in minutes. Microsoft 365 certified; works on Teams desktop, web, iOS and Android and as an agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot; available in English, French and Spanish. The AI never books or cancels on its own: every trip change is confirmed by the user via a card button.
