## TeamViewer Pricing FAQs

Generated using AI

Is TeamViewer free, or does it offer a free trial?

TeamViewer does not offer a permanent free plan, but it does provide a free trial that lets users to test the product before committing to a paid plan. Trial availability and duration may vary, so users should review the seller's official pricing page for the most current details.

How much does TeamViewer cost in 2026?

According to G2 data, TeamViewer pricing in 2026 starts at $24.90 and can reach $229.90 depending on the selected plan. Pricing may vary based on billing terms or usage, so users should review the TeamViewer's official pricing page for the most current details.

Who is TeamViewer pricing best suited for?

Based on G2 reviews and TeamViewer's pricing structure, the Remote Access tier suits solo professionals and remote workers needing basic access to a few devices. The Business plan at $50.90 aligns with freelancers and small IT teams managing multiple client machines. The Premium tier at $112.90 is best suited for SMBs and small teams needing multi-user access, while the Corporate plan at $229.90 targets MSPs and larger IT departments requiring multiple concurrent connections and mass deployment. G2 reviewers from information technology, consulting, and accounting industries appear most frequently, with enterprise users valuing TeamViewer's stability and small business users often finding the pricing a stretch for their budgets.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of TeamViewer?

TeamViewer offers a free version for personal, non-commercial use, but G2 reviewers consistently highlight its significant limitations. The free tier restricts session duration, lacks unattended access configuration, and frequently flags users for suspected commercial use, causing abrupt disconnections. TeamViewer's paid plans, starting at $24.90 for Remote Access, unlock managed devices, concurrent sessions, and phone support, while higher tiers like Business at $50.90 and Premium at $112.90 add more licensed users, managed devices, and AI credits. G2 users note that the jump from free to paid is steep, with many citing the aggressive commercial-use detection on free accounts as a primary driver for upgrading.

Is TeamViewer considered good value for its pricing?

TeamViewer's pricing draws mixed sentiment from G2 reviewers. The product earns consistently high ratings, with many users praising its reliability, stability, and ease of use, suggesting it delivers on its core promises. However, pricing is the single most frequently cited complaint across G2 reviews, with users from small businesses, individual consultants, and even enterprise segments calling it expensive relative to alternatives. Some G2 reviewers mention switching to or considering AnyDesk as a more affordable option. That said, enterprise and mid-market users who rely on TeamViewer daily tend to view the cost as justified given its performance and cross-platform capabilities, framing it as a premium investment rather than poor value.

What do you like best about TeamViewer?

Teamviewer is very useful to connect to my friends and clients remotely and control their device from a remote location. It is very easy to setup, you just have to share your unique id and password. I use it once a week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamViewer?

Although it is free for limited period, the cost is very high and the performance is also not good when the connection is bad/slow. And the free version has many limitations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?

So me and my client live at very different places and they are far away. So to discuss about a project or resolve any issues it is very frustrating to meet in-person everytime as we have to a lot of travelling. Teamviewer helps us to connect remotely and discuss remotely. Hello Jaya,

Happy to hear that TeamViewer helps you with your remote connections with friends and family, even if you experienced some slowness in the connection

In cases like yours, we recommend first ensuring that both devices are running the latest version of TeamViewer, which can be downloaded from our official website.

If the software is up to date, restarting both devices and, if possible, rebooting the WiFi router may help resolve the issue.

Finally, your feedback about the free version limitations is very important to us, and we will ensure that it reaches the right team.

Have a nice day!

"So disappointed by TeamViewer"

0/5

What do you like best about TeamViewer?

It is a software that I have used for over 10 years with satisfaction but with a disastrous commercial policy! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamViewer?

No respect for their client. No respect for their commitments. No respect for the perpetual license acquired when it was very useful for them to develop and completely disregarded today. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?

In the past, this program was very effective for remote maintenance. Now, my perpetual license only allows me to remotely maintain elements within my local network. Therefore, it holds no interest. The only benefit I gain from it today is understanding that one should not trust certain publishers and that one should always scrutinize the competition before committing. It is also about understanding that it is never too late to react and that it is the clients and consumers who keep these people, who disdain us, alive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
