**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sachin . | Senior Research Scientist-I, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2022

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I like how easy it is to connect to remote devices from anywhere. The connection is usually stable, file transfer is simple, and the interface feels more organized than before. It has made remote support and collaboration much more convenient.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

TeamViewer works well most of the time, but occasional connection drops or slight lag can happen on slower internet connections. The licensing is also a bit expensive for small businesses. Improving connection stability and making pricing more flexible would make it even better.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use this software If I need help resolving technical issues on my laptop or If I want to share my screen with others for discussion or presentation. If I want to join or conduct virtual meetings, then I use this software.

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

It basically allows the seamless access to the system to which the authorization is provided. This application is used mostly with the clients to look at their system and its issues and resolve it on priority by taking their system access. It reduces the time to resolve the issues and meet the TAT. The application is accessible from any place makes it easier to respond to the clients request and improve the customer experience.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

At present nothing such for improvement. Its already on the better path allowing users to have seamless access to the system.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 3. Reliable Remote Access with Ease and Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kunal T. | Support Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I really like TeamViewer's ease of use and reliability. The setup process is straightforward, allowing for quick start of remote sessions without complex configurations. Its stable connection quality is impressive, even on average internet connections. I appreciate the secure remote access it offers, which gives me confidence when connecting to sensitive systems. The built-in file transfer feature is a big plus, eliminating the need for third party tools, and the session management is well integrated, making it a dependable tool for day to day remote support and system access. These features help me start support sessions quickly, even with non technical users, and secure connections ensure troubleshooting can be completed without frequent interruptions. The tool has helped reduce setup time and improved my productivity by allowing me to provide quick assistance without requiring a lot of technical setup.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

One area that could be improved is pricing, especially for individual users or small teams, as the cost can feel high compared to some alternatives. Licensing rules can also be a bit restrictive and sessions may occasionally be flagged incorrectly which can interrupt workflows. Additionally, performance can vary on very low bandwidth connections, where lag or reduced responsiveness becomes noticeable.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamViewer for remote technical support and system access, solving the problem of providing immediate access without complex setup. It enables realtime troubleshooting, reduces downtime, and ensures consistent access from any location, enhancing productivity and minimizing delays.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Kunal,

Thank you for your review and for sharing such an honest and complete review.

It’s great to hear how much TeamViewer supports your daily tasks, from secure remote access to quick and reliable sessions, even with non‑technical users.

If you encounter slow connection issues, we recommend checking that both sides of the connection are running the latest version of TeamViewer, available on our official website. If everything is up to date, try restarting both devices and, if possible, rebooting the Wi‑Fi router, as this can often help restore a stable connection.

Regarding your comment on pricing and licensing, it is valid and appreciated. Feedback like yours helps us identify areas for improvement to meet our users' needs better.

All the best,

Valeria/TeamViewer

I really like TeamViewer as it enables me to use the power of my studio workstation when I am not present in the office. It implies that I can directly edit gigantic design files on my primary computer on a light laptop in a program such as After Effects. The simple ability to move certain project resources in and out of my desktop and the computer of a client also avoids the versioning headaches that are unnecessary. It is also incredibly directive to show a new freelance editor his/her specific software setup.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Locating some of the remote session controls, such as scaling options, is at times a treasure hunt in the interface. I also had some stable connections that went dead in the middle and this is frustrating when having a design review, which is focused. An issue that has been a persistent microaggression has been getting the exact pressure settings of my tablet to work with the remote connection.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using TeamViewer, to transmit large and complex design project files to distant clients, it was common to upload giant archives with cloud services and this was always slow and versioning a nightmare. It also occurred to me that I would need to thoroughly synchronize certain fonts and software versions to my laptop in case of working at home. My work space anywhere now is pretty much my studio computer on steroids. This will imply that clients can physically track my lead on their screen, or I can directly enter the special project folder arrangement of the client. It has streamlined our group work procedure to a lot more fluid and less technical meltdown.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naved S. | System Admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

TeamViewer provides a seamless and secure way to remotely access and troubleshoot systems from anywhere.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Occasionally, the connection can lag during large file transfers or when network stability is low. The licensing structure can also be a bit expensive for small teams or occasional users. Additionally, automatic updates sometimes interrupt ongoing sessions and require reinstallation or reconfiguration.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer helps us provide seamless remote IT support and system maintenance across multiple locations.
It allows quick troubleshooting, software installation, and system configuration without needing physical access to devices. This has significantly reduced downtime, improved response time, and increased overall productivity. The secure remote access also helps in managing offsite users and resolving technical issues efficiently.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Naved,

Thank you so much for your positive review.

It’s great to read how TeamViewer is helping your IT team deliver fast and secure support without needing physical access to devices, reducing downtime, improving response time, and increasing your team productivity.

However, when dealing with connection issues, we suggest ensuring that both sides have the latest version of TeamViewer available in our website.

If this is the case, resetting the devices and, if possible, resetting the WiFi, could solve the issue.

Wishing you all the best,

**Reviewed by:** Jaya prakash P. | Project Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

Teamviewer is very useful to connect to my friends and clients remotely and control their device from a remote location. It is very easy to setup, you just have to share your unique id and password. I use it once a week.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Although it is free for limited period, the cost is very high and the performance is also not good when the connection is bad/slow. And the free version has many limitations.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So me and my client live at very different places and they are far away. So to discuss about a project or resolve any issues it is very frustrating to meet in-person everytime as we have to a lot of travelling. Teamviewer helps us to connect remotely and discuss remotely.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Jaya,

Happy to hear that TeamViewer helps you with your remote connections with friends and family, even if you experienced some slowness in the connection

In cases like yours, we recommend first ensuring that both devices are running the latest version of TeamViewer, which can be downloaded from our official website.

If the software is up to date, restarting both devices and, if possible, rebooting the WiFi router may help resolve the issue.

  ### 20. Primary Remote Access Tool for Our Company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jefferson F. | Estagiário de TI, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

At Visagio, what I like most about TeamViewer is its reliability and ease of use for remote access and technical support. It allows our IT and project teams to connect securely to client and internal systems from anywhere, without complex setup. The connection is stable, even on lower bandwidth networks, and the interface is intuitive enough for both technical and non-technical users. Features like file transfer, multi-session management, and unattended access make daily operations smoother and save valuable time when providing remote assistance.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

TeamViewer is a powerful and reliable tool, but occasionally the performance can be affected on very low bandwidth connections, which may slow down remote sessions. Additionally, some advanced features, such as mass deployment or custom branding, require higher-tier plans, which can increase costs for larger teams. Despite these minor limitations, the platform remains highly effective for daily remote support and collaboration.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer helps us at Visagio provide secure and efficient remote support for both internal systems and client environments. It eliminates the need for on-site visits, saving significant time and travel costs. The platform allows our IT and project teams to troubleshoot issues, transfer files, and manage multiple sessions simultaneously, ensuring business continuity and minimizing downtime. Overall, it improves operational efficiency, enables fast problem resolution, and allows our team to focus on strategic initiatives rather than routine technical tasks.

  ### 22. Reliable Remote Access with a Few Limitations

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

TeamViewer makes remote access incredibly simple and efficient. I appreciate how quickly I can connect to devices without complicated setup, and the performance is usually smooth with minimal lag. The platform is user-friendly, supports cross-platform connections, and offers valuable features like file transfer, remote printing, and multi-monitor support. It’s a real time-saver when providing support or managing systems remotely.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The main drawback is the cost, it can be quite high for small teams or individuals. Additionally, sometimes the software mistakenly flags non-commercial users as commercial, which disrupts the experience. The connection speed can also fluctuate depending on the network, and the interface, while functional, feels a bit dated compared to newer remote tools.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer helps me access and manage remote devices seamlessly, which is especially useful when working with colleagues or clients in different locations. It eliminates the need for physical presence, saving both time and travel costs. I can troubleshoot issues, share files securely, and even walk someone through tasks in real time, all without being on-site. This has improved productivity, reduced downtime, and made collaboration much more convenient.

  ### 23. Well-known tool, but with usability and stability concerns

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** イコカ . | Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

TeamViewer is widely recognized and commonly used, which makes it easier to explain how to use it to others. Many users are already familiar with the software, reducing the need for training and support during setup.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

There are times when the connection is unstable or difficult to establish, which affects usability. Frequent UI changes also make the interface harder to navigate, especially for long-term users. Additionally, it's common to be logged out and asked to re-authenticate when trying to use it, which can be disruptive. Compared to alternative solutions, the cost is relatively high.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer solves the problem of providing remote access and support across geographical distances. It allows users to access and control devices from anywhere, eliminating the need for on-site visits and reducing response times and travel costs.

This is especially helpful for IT support and help desk operations, as it enables technicians to view and troubleshoot user issues directly. TeamViewer is widely used in organizations with multiple locations or remote work environments, making it a valuable tool for efficient and timely support.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

  ### 27. No more delays during onboarding!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raphael A. | Senior Web Developer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

One thing I really enjoy about TeamViewer is its speed when I need to access another person’s computer. I am part of remote teams and rely on TeamViewer nearly every day to help fix their machines without having to talk things through in chat. Since it does not cause problems with our security software, I never find it difficult to get into someone’s computer. So, we spend much less time going over small computer issues again and again.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

What I don’t like about TeamViewer is that it sometimes requires machines to be on the same version. As soon as I’m using a newer version and the other person has an older one, we can’t start a session. There have been times when I needed to cancel my support calls as a result. When this occurs suddenly during my busiest times, it can completely mess up my schedule.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer has greatly helped us reduce the number of work interruptions. At one point, we lost a lot of time just because we were waiting for someone to come to a workstation for fast fixes. These days, I am able to log in at once and finish the job in a matter of minutes. That quick response has made peak times much easier to get through when pressure is high and time is limited. Having it is making our work as a group go more smoothly.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hi Raphael,

Thank you for your review and for sharing your experience with us.

Happy to hear that TeamViewer helps you with your onboarding sessions.

  ### 32. I use it almost daily and it’s saved me so many hours of explaining things

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cari T. | IT Help desk engineer, Logistics and Supply Chain, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I really like TeamViewer for its rock solid reliability and ease of use, especially the core remote control function. It just connects effortlessly and lets me quickly jump onto someone's computer to lend a hand, like helping my colleagues troubleshoot their laptop. The file transfer feature is also super convenient. I can easily drag and drop needed documents between computers without fiddling with emails or cloud links. It makes providing remote support feel incredibly straightforward and dependable.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The biggest drawback, in my opinion, is the cost for commercial or business use, it can become quite expensive quickly. While generally stable, occasionally connections can still be a bit flaky depending on network conditions.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer primarily solves the problem of needing physical presence to provide technical support or access a remote computer. Before using it, I'd often have to spend time traveling to location just to fix something simple. Now, I can simply have them provide the ID and password, connect instantly, see their screen, and resolve the issue remotely within minutes. This saves immense amounts of time, travel costs, and frustration for both parties involved.

I love the fact that you can remotely access staff laptops from anywhere in the world to help troubleshoot any issues.

  ### 37. Quick solutions without leaving my post!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ary M. | Data Entry Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

TeamViewer enables me to get technical assistance in seconds. Just provide the ID and connect to my system to fix configuration issues, errors, or questions. It's quite helpful when something goes wrong and I don't have to explain everything step-by-step.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Sometimes, if the internet is unstable, the connection may be slow. It would also be beneficial to have a clearer way to know who to connect with and how.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it when I'm having issues with the data entry system or with blocked archives. The support team accesses my panel, resolves the issue, and I can continue working without losing time.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Ary,

Thank you for your rating and support.

When experiencing slow connections, we recommend first ensuring that both devices are running the latest version of TeamViewer, which can be downloaded from our official website.

If the software is up to date, restarting both devices and, if possible, rebooting the WiFi router may help resolve the issue.

  ### 38. Reliable and Robust Remote acess solution for my Organization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prateek B. | Devops Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

Teamviewer allows us to quickly and securely connect to another device and take control. We can provide quick remote support to our clients and users. It is very easy to set up and is available for all devices and I can quickly enter my partner's ID and get access to their devices. One of my favorite features is to handle multiple support session requests at once and it is easy to switch.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The only issue I encounter is the connectivity issue as everything depends on our network strength and end-user network strength. if there is a connectivity issue on any end, it makes the session very slow and it starts lagging.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to provide remote assistance to our clients and customers quickly and efficiently with TeamViewer. We don't need to be physically present to experience the issue that client is facing. We can simply get access to their devices and experience the issue on our end and quickly resolve the issues. I find it highly secure and reliable and it gives a trust that the connections are secure.

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

What I like best about TeamViewer is how simple and reliable it is for remote access. Even if I’m not very technical, I can easily connect to another computer and help someone out, whether they are sitting in the next room or in another country.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Sometimes the connection can be slow depending on the internet, and the paid version is a bit expensive for small users.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer helps me solve the problem of distance. I can access computers remotely and support colleagues without being physically present. This saves time, reduces travel, and makes work much more flexible.

**Reviewed by:** Adarsh B. | Network Security Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

TeamViewer is the most famous known remote control solution and is being used in our organization. It is easy to set up and I can connect and control the remote system instantly. It has well-integrated security which keeps the connection more secure and reliable. It is available for almost all devices such as mobile, Linux, and Windows.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The connectivity issue and lagging of the screen are the biggest issues I've faced with TeamViewer. Also while working connection loss is another issue.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamViewer acts as an remote support and co-browsing solution for our organization. We require it to provide support to internal teams and clients. We can easily access and control the devices of our team and provide better support by understanding the issue they are facing at their devices. Overall, it gives us complete control of their devices and fix issues quickly, efficiently and securely.

  ### 41. Great remote support tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen A. | Sr. Systems Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

Ability to access hundreds of PCs remotely for support purposes.

Logical groupings, and lots of back-end functions without disturbing the user.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Occasional issues with dropping files on the user's drives remotely.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to resolve issues that the user is experiencing without having to go through downloads of agents by directing them to websites, then installing said agents. This is very time consuming and can often be a challenge for the user when they are already frustrated with their issue. Teamviewer allows me to directly connect without user intervention.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

  ### 42. Robust product, easy to use and has all the necessary functions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saad S. | IT Support Technician, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I like that it's been widely adopted for its practicality, facilitating secure and efficient remote access. We can easily connect to office computers, which is particularly useful in terms of work. The app makes it easy to access another PC's screen remotely.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

The app works exceptionally well when the connection is stable, otherwise, the experience will be somewhat negative. It can sometimes be unstable during a session.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform helps us reduce response time, it's a secure method for maintaining consistency among users. Work is easily accessible, and we can connect and access another PC or server.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Saad,

Thank you so much for your rating and for sharing your experience.

However, in cases of slow connections, we suggest ensuring that both sides have the latest version of TeamViewer available on our website.

  ### 43. Quick and reliable remote access anytime

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keval G. | Help desk technician, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

For me, the best thing is the quick and reliable remote access experience. TeamViewer is a day to day tool to get our spread out team on via device and it always works reliable. All I need is a few moments to connect to another person’s desktop, wherever they may be. It also integrates well with our ticketing system, hence making the process of recording of support incidents easier and faster. The intuitive design allows non-technical coworker to control rudimentary remote sessions by themselves.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

For small teams, it could be very expensive, and it gets pesky when you’re marked for ‘commercial use’ on personal profiles. And when the network is unstable, a series of troubleshooting can get slowed down by a series of lags. While latency is not their greatest worry, it can mess with your productivity especially during emergencies.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Now, we can attend to IT needs at a distance, fixing the problem of need to be on site. Having numerous locations, we’ve moved all our IT services to off-site operations, drastically curtailed our need for travel and freed up time. This capacity of ours to address problems very quickly and reducing the disruptions on the relatively employees has improved a lot. Our non-technical workers benefit much as we can show them fixes as we work them out in real time. It has made our IT processes, much streamlined and less troublesome.

**Official Response from Valeria Di Prisco:**

> Hello Keval,

Thank you for your review and for sharing your experience with us.

Regarding your comment on commercial use, sometimes, TeamViewer detects false commercial use. We are sorry about the inconvenience. To understand what is considered commercial use, please click on the following link: https://www.teamviewer.com/en/global/support/knowledge-base/teamviewer-classic/licensing/personal-use/commercial-use-suspected/

However, you can request the reset of your IDs very quickly here: https://www.teamviewer.com/reset.

Note: Do not forget to add all the IDs to the form (local and remote side IDs).

Likewise, we would like to invite you to join the TeamViewer Community at https://community.teamviewer.com for troubleshooting questions.

Hoping to see you there!
