**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

The team are very responsive and helpful.  They have answered all my questions quickly, as well as offering to have calls when I need more support and explanation.  I've tailored the system to my business, and my clients (a lot of whom are technophobes) have found the system very user friendly and easy to book their appointments and classes.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

I find the 1-1 appointments booking a bit clunky when booking clients in from my end, and being unable to switch from an offline to online payment for these has been a bit of an adjustment, as my old system allowed this to happen.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has provided an easy and efficient booking system for my clients for their Pilates classes.  The system is very user friendly, so has saved us a lot of admin time sorting out confused clients, which was happening a lot with our previous booking system.

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

All the bases are covered for what I need, and chat response is quick for resolving queries.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

Not much, though because it sits behind Hotpod Yoga, there are a few idiosyncrasies within the customer journey.  Customer referral codes is a good example of this as the UX is poor on referrals - customers try and enter the referral code at checkout!

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am a franchisee of Hotpod Yoga so it's part of the package.

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

Team up is really easy to use and has great functionality. It was so simple to integrate and the customer support is really good.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

There are a few little quirks that I think could be improved. The customer side of the pllatform is a little clunky and a few of my customers have found it quite tricky to navigate. Things like recurring reservations they are finding confussing

It mainly helps me solve membership, GDPR and revenue issues all in one easy solution

It was really difficult for us to find an affordable management system for our unique business model. TeamUp was the only one out there that could help us. Easy navigation, lots of offerings, customizable app, and so much more!

I would like to see some kind of "add-on" feature to upgrade services

Helping a business that houses group classes, equipment rentals, spa services, and nutrition.

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

Strong value.  The feature set as it relates to monthly price is outstanding.  TeamUp also has a very knowledgeable and helpful onboarding team that made switching platforms relatively painless.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

The custom mobile apps are a little slow to load if you're like us and have hundreds of available appointment times.  To be entirely fair, due to the self-service nature of our facility, we likely have 15-30x more appointment options than a traditional facility so it's unlikely this would negatively impact other customers.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamUp has far more native integrations than our previous platform which makes managing our door access system and google analytics a breeze.

As a fitness management and business consultant, working with TeamUp has provided me with the ability to not only inspire and educate fitness facilities eager to grow and do better for their teams and clients, but also provide them with tangible examples of how TeamUp's team and software can bring their dreams to life. From automating mundane and repetitive tasks, to making updates and changes EASY for things like schedules, pay, client management and more, the TeamUp development team as well of the use of key integrations make big things possible in a short amount of time. The TeamUp team is also always listening to it's customers AND learning as much as possible about the business of fitness and how it is unique for every facility, which I find to be priceless and unfortunately uncommon when working with other software companies.

Nothing that I can think of, TeamUp has granted me access to their community and I have loved sharing it with my clients and colleagues in the industry.

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

The simplicity of the booking on the customer end, the reporting system and that you can create multiple memberships and products easily. It's also a straight forward easy system to implement and use. It also integrates to our CRM go high level with Zapier.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

The system cannot recognise between online and in person sessions for quantity of use. I cannot create multiple locations on there due to notification issues.

Booking, Waivers, Membership applications and notifications

10+ yrs with TeamUp, the simplicity of the system is fantastic and very user-friendly.

although they still have some development across the historical data and reporting to work on 

the ability to bulk edit on a scale of selecting certain classes on days and certain hours and then selecting a coach to change to on those specific hours.

They always listen to suggestions on updating processess.

Not eveyone in the support team is as exerienced as the others.

Our customers have not had any issues with using the system like they did with our previous one!

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

1-1 personal training recurring reservation could be better, but they took this feedback on board and I'm sure it'll change.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customers being able to easily book onto their sessions generally and well in advance, meaning less admin time on my end.

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

My favourite thing about teamup is the dashboard feature. I am a busy business owner. So, I can simply log in and see how my membership rate is looking, where my revenue is coming from, and I can also see who is attending tonight's classes. This is all on one screen. Additionally, I like how easy it is to keep a track on memberships and how incredibly straight forward it is to manage them.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

I don't particularly like how TeamUp doesn't have a fixed price. However, the tiered pricing system probably helped me get set up in the first place, because I had less than half the amount of members.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our academy is really busy and keeping track of everybody in terms of attendence and payment is difficult. TeamUp makes this super easy. From a health and safety standpoint, my students can show how many spaces are left in each class. I also love how I get to automatically view a new members martial arts history and PAR-Q when they sign up. I don't have to log in, I can just scan the email. This is really beneficial for when I'm taking a class in the evening because I can greet a person knowing something about them already. Similarly, I can say to another coach "We've got an X coming in tonight with X amount of experience" to give them a heads up. 

It is absolutely necessary for me to track who is doing what session, as we have tiered membership. TeamUp allows me to keep track of who is training and when, even if I'm not in the gym that evening. It keeps on top of making sure everyone pays for their training, which ultimately keeps the lights on and the coaches paid.

Not being able to easily move a client from one class to another. You have to remove them, credit their account and then rebook

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

It's reliable and efficient. We particularly like the fact that we can get quick contact with someone to help solve problems.
It integrates well with Zoom and has never crashed  or failed in the several years we have used it.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

We've been asking for various features for years! Things which don't seem that difficult to implement, such as waiting lists for courses - but these have never materialised.
It's quite expensive compared to newer booking systems.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Online booking for all our classes and courses.
Direce access to customer support is a big benefit.

The database can be very slow and certain elements of the API are too restrictive. There are also basic functionalities (e.g Apple Pay) that we'd expect to be available but aren't.

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

The whole experience, in comparison with my previous software, has been delightful. The customer service and support is outstanding. The level of functionality is way above what I had been used to, and customising and changing various options in the settings allows the software to be tailored to my needs. The reliability of the software, in comparison with my previous software, has reduced the level of admin required and reduced stress levels!

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

The courses section is not ideal for running tennis camps during school holidays. The biggest issue is not having a basket function. Parents with two or more children taking part in numerous days have to make a lot of transactions rather than just one. I had worked through this with the excellent support team, and they agreed that a basket function for checkout is required. There are some minor issues around membership to my club and accessing the correct price for the camps, but this is more an issue with how the club I work at runs, rather than the software.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can now use a direct debit model to take payments, dramatically reducing admin time. The numerous options available when setting up membership plans and classes have allowed me to tailor the software directly to my needs, reducing admin time and keeping my clients satisfied.

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

Team up presents data in a clear, graphic way, it seems robust and fairly error free compared to other GMS systems I have encountered in different situations.  I have worked in schools on "Sims" and "Pars" systems that have their issues in terms of user friendliness, so I would say team up is on a par with them, whereas the RFU GMS system is a word of pain.  The IRFU Gms system is quite user friendly.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

It might just be me, but sometimes the edit links are not as obvious and intuitive as they could be, simply changing their colour on the screens to make them pop out would be helpful, as they are often amongst quite a lot of other information. 
I would have liked a better help service when looking to make edits, though the lack of help did make me work harder and perhaps I will retain the process when next confronted by the issue I faced.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Obviously having clients and potential clients completing their own registration is a massive support, if I was to try and admin while trying to teach a class there would be chaos. The email updates are a huge benefit, with the stream of information making my progression live and very heartwarming, especially as a relatively new business.

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

TeamUp  is a very easy to use software system and the customer service is great. I like that there are no 'add ons' or 'upsells' like other software packages that I have used in the past. Your monthly rate is based on how many active clients you have, and you still get access to all of the features. My favourite feature is that the reporting is very accurate.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

I do believe that there is no such thing as a perfect software package, so TeamUp naturally has it's flaws, though may fewer flaws than it's competitors. I would like to see improvements in the pausing features, and it would be cool if there was a gift card function in it's online store options.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamUp ensures that our studio can run smoothly by taking care of client billing and payments (one-offs and recurring) as well as scheduling our classes. It enables our clients to take charge of their own scheduling by having the ability to book themselves into classes as well as manage their payments. It also generates reports and data that we can use to make improvements as well as to have our finger on the pulse on our business. I had a business coach who once said if you don't know your metrics it's like driving a car without a dashboard. TeamUp allows myself and my team to have real-time data at the touch of a button.

It is super easy to integrate stripe billing as well as GoCardless direct debits for billing members.

Superb dashboard with so many customisable options to view when you log in. Reporting tools for billing is better than the stripe dashboard in my opinion.

No major drawbacks yet. Any issues or questions I've had are answered straight away through their chat feature - Great response time as well as links to articles related to my concerns.

After a complimentary session for potential members we can easily send them a register & purchase link for their '30 Day Kickstart' programme...

We have set up automated emails through TeamUp to send out at specific times during their initial 30 Day period as well as a link to purchase their 'full membership' package of choice after this period.

It removes a lot of admin from our plate and we can also set it up to notify us if anyone is 'slipping away' - ensuring we reach out to them and increase our sales at the end of the day.

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

TeamUp works well for our business needs. We have multiple venues and a whole host of different classes which are all handled well by the system. It is pretty straightforward to use by admin and customers.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

There are some omissions (such as sharing class packs between family members and not automatically flagging medical issues on customer accounts) that would be good to implement. We've also had issues with customers thinking they're booked onto classes when they aren't because they haven't gone into their banking app to verify the payment. TeamUp really should be able to automatically email the customer that this has happened and that their reserved space has been released due to the payment being timed out. It gives this message in the admin's activity feed so why can't it also be sent as an email to the customer?

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking payments online for all classes has been a great change for the business. The online shop is also handy. Automatic emails for customers slipping away is also good for retention.

Little. I would like it if I could send emails directly.

It is easy to allow memberships with a certain amount of credits per month. It's easy to manage cancellations. You can freeze memberships for any length of time and the amount of credits are worked out for you.  Members have the option to late cancel and it is easy to either refund or not refund credits. Everything works properly,  so less admin time.

The only thing i can think of is I would like the client app to be branded to make my booking system more personalised. Aside from that i think TeamUp couldn't be better!

Scheduling my week, allowing clients to book their sessions, allowing me to see who is coming and how often.
Before all of my clients payments where scattered over the month depending on when they signed up, now they're mostly charged at the same time.
Team up allows me to see reports on attendances and ralerts me if members seem to be slipping away. I have automated emails such as birthday messages set up.
I can see my income and how it fluctuates.

I find the teamUp page is one of the most simplistic but effective pages to use for managing a booking system and membership. It has great qualities within the software features that make it easy to use and not too time consuming

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

TeamUp's filtering sysstem for schedule is a little time consuming dependent on how many types of classes you offer, an improvement could be to add a feature when you can group class types (e.g., yoga classes we offer 8-10 different styles and would like to just display them)

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

TeamUp provides a wide variety of services that checks a lot of boxes that our business needs. Having all of the essential information in one place is extremely helpful, it allows for us to run our business without the stress of organizing everything that TeamUp organizes.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

So far, I haven't experienced any dislikes with TeamUp. I am still currently learning how to navigate the site, as I am a pretty new member. The site seems easy to navigate and use, I haven't had any issues so far!

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a business, we offer a wide variety of services, which was making it increasingly difficult to manage and organize these services. TeamUp provides a platform where all of these services can be organized, which allows staff to focus on the actual studio rather than the business aspect.

Since I do not have over 100 clients yet, it is a much cheaper alternative to use than MindBody to build my business.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

I am not familiar with other platforms, but figuring out the integration between other platforms took more time than expected.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not having to worry about the schedule and how many people are attending class has been very beneficial to my time management.  I was also able to get rid of my waiver subscription since TeamUp has waiver forms built in.

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I like the ability to offer classes, private appointments, a store and on-demand through one platform.  Also the ability to offer services in virtual and physical spaces is key for us to expand.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

I would love for the reports to be more useful for annual accounting and I find that there are some limitations that create barriers for users, like having to translate schedule times to their own timezone.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

accepting payment, managing discount codes, offering some analysis of user-platform interaction is saving us time and giving us direction on what services to offer more of.

The support given when I've needed it has been excellent. The system is much easier to navigate than other similar ones I've used.

The system perfectly suits the needs of our business. The system is modern, and in-keeping with current industry trends. Every single member of staff Ive spoken to has been brilliant, and so helpful, they employ a great team!

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

The Team Up app could be much better, we would like the ability to make membership purchases via the app.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There is very little admin needed and therefore our staffing costs are low, we can focus on delivering great sessions and creating a gret atmosphere, rather than being stuck behind a computer.

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I like that I can control all aspects of my members memberships and also That it integrates with my other apps ie. BoxMate

Making changes to my schedule is quick and easy.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

1. That I can't just search in the members search bar using a phone number.

2. That it was updated and changed which made it more difficult for me to check what dates cash payments were aligned to for me to clear off.

**Recommendations to others considering TeamUp:**

I have not seen another platform that handles all of our gyms requirements at an affordable price

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am definitely not worried about if members can book into the right classes for them and that all my payments will be managed correctly.

Setting up automatic emails after first classes and birthdays and so on, has been a huge bonus!

Point of entry booking for clients is very usable and customer friendly. Easy to sign up and use initial forms which makes signing clients up easy.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

A few features in the reporting sometimes require a bit of support from the customer service. All was dealt with brilliantly though so wasn't really a big concern.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps cut down my admin time of manually booking clients where we were using Google sheets before it streamlined the process and cuts down diary management time.

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

The options to adjust the rules for bookings (the night-time blackout period) etc. The simplicity of the system for day-to-day running. Having used SDA, Clubwise & Club manager in the past this has been what we have been looking for all along.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

From a management perspective there isn't anything I don't love, the only feedback I have is that some members find it confusing to set up an account to be able to view classes.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Team up allows us to offer a variety of options to different demographics from commited members to one off passes or bulk session packs to corporates. The flexibility gives us far more than any other system has in this area before.

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

The customer service is always AMAIZNG and thorough whenever Iv had an issue and it's resolved quickly. The reports are super handy and I think the ux is really good.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

Sometimes I'd like a little more control over things and be able to personalise tabs. Liek we use the venue tab as a filter, be great to be able to customise that label. 
Also we sometimes have some issues from members who have multiple memberships and there doesn't seem to be a fix for it.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Yeh reports are my fav, gives me an on-site into what classes are doing well and with over 60 classes a week this is critical to keeping what works and getting rid of what doesn't.
