**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

The team are helpful, and are super responsive. I like the dashboard and that all of the features are included within my subscription. I haven't tried other software, but this was the top recommended.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

The only downside for me is that I run my courses in 4-week blocks that run every month regularly. The system doesn't quite fit to my needs in this way, but I've found some workarounds. however, it means that people can't book themselves as a recurring member without it prorating their fee. I have to have 2 separate memberships, and then put them manually on afterward.

I can't bulk edit classes - sometimes I need to change the names of classes/put extra info in. I have to do it one by one which is quite time consuming.

**Recommendations to others considering TeamUp:**

use the  Try it out for free offer. Give it time to understand the platform - book in for calls and make the most of the team. play around with the system to get used to it.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- easier to keep all paperwork online and in one place (i was using other software for this before) 
- Bulk changing payments is amazing 
- seeing unpaid invoices, which reduces my admin
- adding credit to accounts (would be great to have an expiry date for these as an option)

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

Team Up makes my life so much easier. It has minimised the paperwork involved in signing up members with all its online forms and payments. It feels safe for clients and for me. No more FB or text messages about cancellations and rescheduling. Clients feel in control of booking and cancelling their own classes, without needing to let me know.  I also love the 'On Demand' content I can provide to my clients. No more emailing clients with videos of our classes. I just upload them to the 'On Demand' section and they are there for the clients to find themselves.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

There isn't much I don't love about Team Up. Clients have mentioned that the 'On Demand' content would be better ordered with the most current video at the top of the list, rather than in alphabetic order. However, you can set up the videos with filters so that clients can search for videos with keywords.

**Recommendations to others considering TeamUp:**

It's a no brainer! Its features make life much easier! AND the technical support is top-notch!

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was having to pay an admin assistant to input a lot of paperwork into the old system I had. My admin costs have dramatically decreased because I no longer need any help with the Team Up system. Clients either join by using an online link and do all the admin themselves, or I can enter their details and send them an invite with minimal effort. Payments are slick and safe. Memberships are easy to cancel or to 'skip' for a month. I feel confident that my system is working well in the background of my business. The Team Up interface is professional and easy to use for all involved. It makes a good impression on my clients.

its got all the features I need and its good value

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

The reporting is not as comprehensive as I would like

**Recommendations to others considering TeamUp:**

The notification emails have great functionality - far better than MindBody in my opinion, although for some of the messages its not 100% clear what you are sending (ie it tells you there is a merge tag but doesnt say what the merge tag says). Its much better value for money than MB and also uses stripe and GoCardless so the transaction fees are cheaper too.
The switch from MB to TeamUp was easy. The support team do most stuff for you.
The reports are not as comprehensive as MB and I do miss that a little bit but you can find most important stuff out with a bit of digging.
The Zoom integration works great and makes it very easy to run online classes at the same time as in person classes.
The app for members is super intuitive (more so than MB in my opinion)
The booking process for members is not so intuitive and occasionally some less techy members struggle with this.
Members can do more of their own account management and can process their own upgrades, downgrades and cancellations (if you choose), which saves time.
The support team are great. 
It seems like they are constantly making improvements and genuinely listen to customer feedback - I do feel heard with TeamUp.
Refunds are a bit complicated with GoCardless who have a week long fraud prevention thing now before you can process a refund. So it feels like you are making customers wait a really long time before they can be refunded and there is no way to process the refund until this time is up so you have to just wait and set a reminder to do it rather than being able to just refund - this is a bit annoying.

holding online and in-person classes simultaneously, collecting payments is easy, the pre-and post class notifcations help close sales and mean more people arrive

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

TeamUp is simple to use for business and for customers too. Very good customer service any time I have a question, which has been particularly helpful with many changes during the last 2 pandemic years.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

Integrations can be moderately complex and take a bit of time to initially set up, however this is also the same with competitor products which I've experienced, and TeamUps' user guides are thorough and straightforward to follow.

**Recommendations to others considering TeamUp:**

Book a call in with their team and see if they meet your requirements - talk to them! They're friendly and approachable. If they do what you need, you absolutely won't regret your decision.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hosting our online offering, bookings for group training and 1-2-1s both online and in-person, allowing customers to manage accounts to minimise staff time spent. Customer app reduces wasted staff admin time.

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

There is a lot of flexibility in the system, meaning you can personalise it to your business and services. The team are almost always on hand to help with any questions or changes you'd like to make.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

Despite the flexibility, the customisation of the aesthetics is quite limited.

Some of my clients also go to other businesses that use teamup and they have to use a different login for each. A 'switch business' button would be ideal.

**Recommendations to others considering TeamUp:**

They have an integrated payment system, but no facility for storing programmes. The customer's notes section is very basic, so you'll probably end up storing some data elsewhere

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I dread to think of the Admin time required if we did it all on paper, not to mention data protection.
My clients can surf my timetable effortlessly and change their appointments round with just a few clicks. All I have to do is look at my upcoming schedule on the dashboard to keep up.

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

It's the versatility of Team Up that I like best - which is the very reason I chose it. As a coach who works with both individuals and groups in a wide variety of locations, I wanted a system that could cater for these - and more. Team Up allows me to set up whatever combinations I need. It offers a fantastic range of options when it comes to taking payments too. The help and support behind Team Up are excellent - whenever I have had a query, I've received assistance very promptly. I like the fact that my clients like Team Up too - it's easy for them to access and use. I'm often asked if I have someone behind the scenes doing my admin work for me but my answer is always no, I don't need to! Team Up is my admin assistant and it does a cracking job!

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

There's very little I dislike about Team Up. If I had to pick one thing, it's that there is so much choice in how to set things up on Team Up that it can be a bit overwhelming, and sometimes the support guides don't quite have the answer I need. But that's pretty minor really!

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

* having a system where people can book themselves on without having to contact me
* having a system where people can pay (and have choices in how to pay) without having to ask for bank details
* having a system where clients are sent reminders ahead of their booking slots

All of the above are saving me time, money and aggro!

makes everything very easy to use, from taking payments, creating sessions, managing client memberships and event providing training for clients. It keeps getting better too as the software developers keep adding more functions to an already great platform. It's very reasonably priced too and scales with your business. I wouldn't use any other system.

go for it. Team Up does practically everything you need for a gym and more. It has great customer service and they will help you with any transfer of details from any other CRM. You have nothing to lose.

Client management, memberships, payments and session scheduling, which are always the biggest headache. Yhis allows our team to focus more time to the clients, getting better results and making the whole experience better all round.

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

TeamUp automates customer bookings and payments in a way that has made my clients more serious about booking and attending classes and also taken all the hit-and-miss and chasing out of payments. The reporting and support are excellent and the pricing, on a scaled business, very fair.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

If I want to monetise my OD classes I will need to do so on another service, which is frustrating since I want to do everything on TeamUp. I have hundreds of OD classes but can only bundle them into memberships, can't sell per class, which a lot of competitor software reporting allows.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had clients paying by bank transfer which was an admin nightmare. Also when we got busier, having a booking system became essential and TeamUp does that really well.

The UX is great on TeamUp, very easy to adopt and navigate the different menu options. Ability to action things in bulk. Saves me huge amounts of time on admin as it handles a lot of the heavy lifting for me.

There's not anything that I dislike to be honest. I've recommended it to a few other club owners I know and some have them have taken it up. Worthwhile to consider.

Give it a try and see for yourself. I think they still offer a free trial. You'll love it

There are only so many hours in a day, I'm a very busy person and I still want family time and the end of it all. TeamUp takes the strain out of running my club, chasing direct debits, booking people on or off classes, handling paperwork etc.

I like the billing and booking feature allows me to keep a clear track of finances memberships in session counts I also really like how easy the software is to use for both myself and clients

For any memberships that aren't in use anymore they can't be deleted they can only be archived it's not a massive problem but personally I just like things to be out the way if I know that I'm never gonna use them again

If you're a personal trainer doing either one-to-one or group training sessions then this is a no brainer for keeping a track of the finances client bookings and client sessions

The Team! They are amazing always so helpful friendly and they always call you back when they say they are going to which is rare these days.

A bit behind with fast-emerging technology. Some things it cant do yet! but they are on it! and I am hopeful that they will soon be able to offer all the solutions i need for my growing business.

If your looking for a all-round studio/Personal training software that is easy to use but has a great telephone-based  customer services teamlook no further! I struggle with Tech hense i wanted to speak to a human and you can speak to the wonderful Team Up Team at pretty much any time and they ALWAYS call you back!

The helpdesk - they really know how to communicate and deal with setup issues in a calm and considered way. They helped me transfer my clients and data over easily.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

It's not as cheap as other products but it is flexible according to how many clients sign up and it does take a lot of the admin work out of the day today. I'd like a better dashboard for clients with access to their recordings - but they are always working on things so it will probably happen!

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have an integrated calendar on my website that looks great and is easy to use. Clients also can download the app and manage their own bookings, cancellations, refunds etc etc.

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

TeamUp makes the process of managing memberships and scheduling classes very efficient. We use TeamUp for selling multiple different services including free tasters, inductions, drops ins, class packs, and monthly memberships. We also use TeamUp to sell products such as merch and event tickets. Once a customer has a TeamUp account with us we can easily move them through our sales funnel from free taster to inductions to monthly membership. Our class schedule is ever-evolving and I can quickly edit the class schedule to add/remove class and induction slots when required. The TeamUp customer service is very good, I always get a helpful response to any query. In addition, the integration of TeamUp with BoxMate is a massive selling point. BoxMate is an invaluable member engagement and retention tool.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

We have a lot of part-time coaches and often our coaching hours change. Changing class coaches on TeamUp is very time-consuming when needing to change a lot each week, so I don't use TeamUp for coaching schedules.

**Recommendations to others considering TeamUp:**

If you're a coaching gym, e.g. CrossFit, go for TeamUp + BoxMate.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have used  TeamUp since day one of opening our gym, so problems such as membership processing and class booking have never been an issue for us. A lot of other problem solving has come through the use of BoxMate integrated with TeamUp (e.g. programme sharing, score tracking, member engagement etc.)

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I've used a few different booking systems for classes and I've found them either complicated or not able to do what you want them to do. Team up is versatile and easy to use. You can also sync it nicely with Zoom which works really well and also offer on demand classes via Zoom or Vimeo.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

It would be good if it could offer clinic bookings for treatments with notes etc

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing on demand options for classes, monthly memberships, class passes, Zoom syncing and 1:1 scheduling. It's great at keeping track of when customers have been to classes, how many classes they have used out of their passes etc.

It has stream lined our business and great easy use for all our customers with access to their personal accounts and easy for them to change amend.
easy access to the Team up customer serv ice if you have an issue to resolve with great quick response

We have asked for a few things to be added/included but have found this format didn't work for team up slightly disappointing but nothing major fro our business.

Do your research and just ensure this is the right fit for you and what you want - lots of work for it not to be the best fit :)

Customer payments are much more easily managed for us and getting information to them is also quite simple once everything is set up.  takes time to get it right but once there plain sailing all the way :)

The integration with our website, any price changes or timetable changes take seconds on the website and get automatically updated on the website. The customer support is also fast.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

There's not much to dislike, they adapted well during COVID to make things like zoom and bulk membership edits really quick and easy to do. I still probably don't use it to its full potential.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick easy payment system for members, easy to track how active members are in the classes attendances. I should definitely use the reports more as I have no doubt it has valuable information I can use within my business.

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I like the fact that the software is intuitive and has an easy to use UI/UX. It's reliable, and doesn't have many, if any bugs. And if there is a problem, the team are always on hand to help at a fast pace via phone or chat.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

The consumer app could do with a lot of improvement, and seems to be behind what competitors may offer. I.e. It would be great if they had a store within the app, and other admin/profile management features for customers. The store functionality could improve, the main thing being the ability to have items be backordered.

We are using TeamUp to operate our Martial Arts School, and it does a great job at helping us to manage our income, reporting, attendance tracking, stock assignment of items, and some other bits too,

Having everything all in one place. We used to spend days chasing payment every month crosschecking statements and spreadsheets now it's all done automatically and with such ease.

The only feature we dislike is that the store feature is not available on the customer app. You have to log in via a web browser to be able to view it. This has cost us sales in the past which has a big impact on our profitability

This is a fantastic booking system with a fair pricing policy, extensive reporting options and the ability to customise your customer signup forms. The customer service is friendly and helpful way beyond the initial setup time. Highly recommended.

Some of our customers struggle with the registration process, particularly if they're setting up for a child.  That said, once they're in even the most hesitant users are happy to book classes using the app.

The layout is clean and easy to navigate plus the calendar is also well laid out so you can see the week ahead nice and easily. Memberships are easy to manage and see exactly what's going on.

As we have many coaches that work varying class times each week it isn't really quick to allocate them - Being able to allocate them directly from the calendar screen with a simple drop down to select their name from that class time would be a huge time saver for us.

We no longer have to run spreadsheets to track memberships plus we used to have people transferring us cash in to our bank so it's way better having this processed and managed by the system each month.

Nothing really. It's all very simple and easy-to-use.  If we've had any issues in the past they're usually user errors and we get the support we need to rectify them straight away.

Clients comment on how easy it is to manage their classes on the app. I can set up and manage classes and memberships easily. I liked the look of Teamup compared to other providers.

There are a couple of functions that would be good to have. It would be good if clients could be linked to the website more easily via the app to manage memberships and access the store. It would also be helpful to take instalments for course/event bookings (perhaps it does this already!)

TeamUp is super easy to navigate and understand. It makes making changes to the schedule or any other changes like memberships upgrades etc super easy, I can do everything off my phone if I wanted! 
I love the auto email features, they are really helpful and definitely help generate more income into my business as you can target customers more specifically rather than generalised emails. 
Customer service are the BEST!

I would love to be able to cap a number of 'free taster' or 'intro offer' clients in a class. For me setting up extra classes for free taster session clients looks too clunky on my schedule so I'd rather book them into existing classes. I can't cap numbers however so sometimes I have too many free taster session people booking into a class.

If you are looking for extensive but simple features and ease of use, this software is for you!

It can take far too long to fix issues or get support from TeamUp. There can be quite a few limitations which can impact on customer experience, and should be a quick fix from their end.

Great customer service and set-up support. It's easy to maintain and set up new entries. I like the Zoom integration and reminder emails which are useful for my clients.

Customers are limited to purchasing only one single-entry to a class and you must create an account to do so. I appreciate how this helps with customer retention, however, I offer classes outdoors for which my customers would like to purchase additional tickets for their friends on a one-off basis.

The demand platform offers a nice extra to the whole customer experience and I use it as an incentive to get monthly memberships as opposed to class-passes and single tickets.

If your business is a little more complicated, you have to get creative to find workarounds eg. if you offer 2:1 private lessons, want to book people in before they've paid or want to offer monthly payments on classes (using memberships for this adds extra steps) but the system has a lot of options to solve problems.

Make use of the support such as zoom calls to help get set up but get familiar with the system first and try a few different ways of setting things up (if you can find a friend who uses it already that'll save a lot of time too).

Being able to offer multiple payment options has been really important with the cost of living crisis. For new businesses, flexibility to choose and change how you run classes makes a big difference too.

The most helpful thing is not have to chase money anymore and knowing that I'm not missing payments from members. I also love the fact that you can automate ParQ's and forms that you require from members without chasing.

Currently there is nothing that I dislike and I haven't come across any bugs or glitches in the 3 years that I've been using it.
