## TeamUp Reviews
 ### 1. Support That Never Talks Down—And TeamUp Keeps Improving

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Connor B. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

The best part of team up is that they never make you feel dumb when you need assistance. There is a very helpful AI Assistant, but it doesn’t work as a gatekeeper, and will always direct you to the very helpful support team.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

Initially, TeamUp was lacking with their reports and lifetime client features. I had to create programs to get the information I needed about my client’s lifecycles, churn rate, lifetime value, etc.

But that has changed! TeamUp seems to listen to customer feedback, and they added these features that are very helpful.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most recently, adding the CRM feature has helped identify the clients that need the most attention. But they also have a very easy customer portal, so clients can manage their schedule and payment methods. My customers seem to like this, and it reduces the amount of admin work I need to do

 ### 2. Automates Booking with Ease, Excellent Dashboard

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I really like the inner dashboard of TeamUp as it has all of my metrics on it. This helps me see what's going on with my business and compare my progress to last week or last month, which is great for knowing if I should push sales more or if I'm meeting my targets. I also appreciate being able to automate everything for my customers, including sales emails, which is a capability highlighted by other studio owners. The initial setup was pretty easy despite a learning curve, making the overall experience smooth.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

I would really like it if there was a way in my par Q health questionnaire where if someone answers yes to any of the questions that they have a health problem, that I would get an automated email so I can look at it. Because at the moment, there's no way to do that. I have requested this from TeamUp.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamUp for my booking software at my pole studio. It automates everything for customers.

 ### 3. Great Zoom Integration and Security, but Sign-Ups, Upsells, and Support Need Work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I like the Zoom integration, the strong security features, and the simple, student-friendly UX. Performance has been steady for me, and the price feels reasonable for what it offers. I have not used the AI features. I have systems and processes to analyze my business growth. I would prefer that AI be deployed to help us find more students (such as how it is used with MindBody). I have not used the AI features. I have systems and processes to analyze my business growth. I would prefer that AI be deployed to help us find more students (such as how it is used with MindBody). I have not used the AI features. I have systems and processes to analyze my business growth. I would prefer that AI be deployed to help us find more students (such as how it is used with MindBody).

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

Customers can’t easily sign up for a full workshop series with one step. Support has sometimes been unhelpful. When integrated with Squarespace, the user interface also looks a bit dated. Another limitation is the lack of ability to upsell or offer add-ons while a customer is making a purchase. Overall, it also doesn’t provide much support for attracting new students to the studio.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payment processing, Zoom integration, calendar functions, customer forms, and reminder emails for classes. This saves me TONS of time on the admin side.

 ### 4. Effortlessly Manages Bookings but Needs Performance Boost

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Body Fresh F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I really like how user-friendly TeamUp is, and it rarely bugs out, making it reliable for us. It's very adaptable to changes like membership type pricing and capacities, which is a big plus. It's quite self-explanatory, and I find it really useful that we can pull data on low attendance, which is crucial for us in monitoring member retention. The ability to see data live helps us keep members happy as we can easily adapt to changes. Transitioning to TeamUp from other booking software was also a great decision because, in terms of user-friendliness, it's kind of second to none. We've been through several booking softwares, and TeamUp stands out in this aspect.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

So the speed of the software itself is just a little bit frustrating. I've flagged this before. It just needs to be a bit quicker. The loading screens on it and the lags are frustrating because you're trying to work at speed. You want to be able to move someone's booking really quickly or fix someone's account quickly and move on, and you sit there with loading screens and sometimes some crashes. That can be really frustrating with the software. The app on the back end is quite buggy. There should be a better weight tracking process in place for usability. It should have been its own separate section and clearly show progress. Also, the visibility on our end or even adding check-ins on the app would be useful. There are definitely some flaws in seeing the attendance, like the slipping away tool is useful, but there should be also ways to flag and look into people reducing their normal attendance. Easier, just sort of key data points like the timeline, the average member length, and having a cancellation section so you can plug in why people are leaving to better retain them.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamUp makes booking easier for customers, helps us manage memberships, and ensures member retention with live attendance data. It's user-friendly, rarely bugs out, and adaptable, which is crucial for handling pricing changes and capacities at our gym.

 ### 5. Effortless Club Management with Customization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eugene K. | Flaming Feathers Treasurer, Sports, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I really like how TeamUp is very quick and easy to use, especially for booking classes and seeing availability in our badminton club. It's great that we can send out updates to our members about club happenings effortlessly. The personalization aspect, like using our logo, has helped increase our brand awareness and tailored forms has helped us meet specific badminton regulations in Ireland, easing reporting and enhancing the member experience. I found it quite user-friendly, especially compared to what we used before, and the billing process transparency is a big plus. The initial setup was super easy too, thanks to their onboarding team who helped us move our members over. The ongoing support from Team Up's help desk is also very useful.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

It would be helpful to allow more bulk uploading of classes but perhaps this is a feature we just have not learned to use properly. A refresher course on back end reporting would be helpful as part of the monthly subscription after say 6 months of usage etc.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use TeamUp to plan our sessions, efficiently collect payments, and process refunds. It also makes booking classes easy, keeps members updated, and allows us to personalize features, increasing our club's brand awareness and easing compliance.

 ### 6. Simplicity and Efficiency Rolled into One Gym Management Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** On Form P. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I like the simplicity of TeamUp. It's easy for me to organize class numbers and timetables, sort payments, sign members up, and track who's been to classes and when. It efficiently puts everything into one place, which is really convenient for managing numerous tasks like our clients' data, queues, and payments.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

Probably could be better at collecting CRM things. So just being able to send emails from it. For example, creating landing pages, those kind of things could be a massive hit. I think we'd get rid of a lot of software that other gyms use. Switching over payments wasn't the easiest thing. I believe you guys took over that task on, but I didn't find it still easy. It changes dates when payments come through, delaying them by a day or two from what it would normally be with, for example, GoCardless.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamUp to easily organize classes, manage client data, sort payments, and handle memberships all in one place.

 ### 7. Seamless Integration and Ease of Use for Our Coaching Business

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I like that TeamUp is easy to use and has all the functionality we need for our kids' basketball coaching business. I really like the register feature that allows our coaches to use their phones to tick off attendees. It's really important for us that TeamUp can connect through Zapier to integrate with our own CRM system, which helps us track when people turn up for free trials and taster sessions. TeamUp also makes payment processing really easy, especially with retrying missed payments. It integrates perfectly with the rest of our technology, including our API and AI agents.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

I find it quite complicated to connect the MCP and access the API documentation. It would be great if TeamUp had a native connection either through the Zapier MCP or as a default connector. We use Anthropic Cloud for our AI, and that would be amazing if integrated.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamUp streamlines our kids' basketball coaching by managing memberships, payments, class bookings, and providing self-service for parents. It supports connectivity through Zapier, making payment processing easy and reliable, retrying missed payments, and integrating it with our CRM for seamless operations.

 ### 8. Flexible Booking with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Theo v. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I like that members can switch between classes easily and appreciate the clear overview of class bookings in the user's account. I particularly like the way TeamUp works for planning and adjusting schedules. It's easy to adjust for more classes or even just single classes, which I find very handy. Plus, I can easily edit whatever is needed. TeamUp has features that other products like Virtuagym and Fitsociety do not have, which is why we switched to it.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

I find it frustrating that there's no opportunity for members to book an earlier time slot even if they already made an appointment. If they're registered at 9:00 AM, and a spot becomes available at 8:00 AM, we can't offer it to them due to the lack of a or-if feature that can handle this. Also, the initial setup wasn't that easy; it felt like a bit of a search.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamUp helps with easy class booking and switching, providing a clear overview of bookings. I can adjust schedules easily for more or single classes, and edit as needed.

 ### 9. Effortless Membership Management, Needs Improved Setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2023

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I really like TeamUp because everything I need is in one place. It simplifies managing members, reviewing reports, and sharing courses. It's convenient not having to look in multiple places for the information I need; it's all there and ready for us to use. I also find it good that TeamUp keeps improving whenever needed.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

I think that the chatbot's good, but sometimes there's a lack of understanding of what we really need. Sometimes there's a lot of different ways to find information or a lot of different answers for information you're trying to find, so maybe a more streamlined version for finding different things for reports would help. The only other thing I'd say is that there's no easy way to change our hours to have a day closed a week. We can't indefinitely put a closed section on Sundays only; we've got to do it every individual Sunday by bulk closing, which could be improved.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We find TeamUp keeps everything in one place, making it easy for us to share access and manage memberships. It provides us better insight into our gym's revenue and member satisfaction.

**Official Response from James:**

 ### 10. Sleek and Efficient All-in-One Gym Management Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liam K. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I find TeamUp super easy and intuitive to use, which is a big plus for me. The support team is always quick to respond, making any issues easy to resolve. Setting up the app was a breeze and it looks great. The onboarding process for new clients is very smooth and removes all guesswork. Having an all-in-one solution for booking, payment processing, and content delivery saves me a lot of time, as it doesn't require me to support or explain much to clients—it's just very slick. Also, the initial setup was simple, with TeamUp's team doing most of the hard work for me.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

I would love a few extra features on the app. Specifically, a drip feed mode for content would be a great addition.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamUp streamlines gym management with booking, payment, and content delivery in one. It's intuitive, time-saving, requires no client support, and has excellent onboarding.

 ### 11. The most supportive and easy to use software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fly Fit S. | Aerial Fitness Studio owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

The support. If I have any questions I can just ask online straight away and get help. They almost always find a solution for me.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

There are certain features that aren’t available yet, but I understand they’re in the works, so hopefully they’ll be available soon. Also it is fairly expensive but you do get a lot for your money.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I can’t quite figure out how to word something, I use their AI features to help me write the best descriptions. They also handle automated emails, which takes that task off my hands. It’s reassuring to know the correct emails are being sent when they need to be.

 ### 12. Somewhat custom izable tool for a unique business

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christina K. | Owner/manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

We have a unique business and TeamUp offer some of what we need for registration and payments at fairly low price. Customer service is good and they offer enough cusomizabilty to help us fit the app to our business.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

No app that I found did exactly what we need, so even more flexibility would be good but I found the app getting better at this over the years. More linking with data management would be helpful.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing customers to preregister and pay on-line is HUGE for our business but there are some back end stuff that could be better for us.

 ### 13. Integrated CRM, Booking, and App That Streamline Our Business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie J. | Director and head coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

The integrated CRM and booking system as well as the APP

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

It does have limited capabilities, lack of apple pay, some app features like account details for customers are hard for them to find. Sunday is the first day of the week on the app this confuses people. Membership purchases are difficult for members if its reoccuring and they want to select a start date they can't only the business can

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having an interactive booking system that automates a lot of work, reporting is helpful for tax returns too

 ### 14. Easy Class Booking & Uploads, but Glitches and Confusing Sign-In Frustrate Clients

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** GEMMA C. | director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I like that it is easy on my end to see who has booked classes in and easy to upload on demand content

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

I find it can be quite glitchy from a consumers prospective - My clients get frustrated that it logs them out and they have to re sign back in more often - ive got the custom built app and again on sign up that can be confusing for a new person. I also find it annoying that on the custom build app yo cant favourite your on demand workouts like you can on the go team up side - most of my business is on demand

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me run my business easily with the live classes and on demand

 ### 15. Custom Branded App Needs a More User-Friendly, Better-Looking Workout Section

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darragh H. | Director and coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

It's easy to use and navigate and payment links are very good.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

I don't like the custom branded app. The workout segment isn't user friendly or aesthetic, I wish it was better. I also find it difficult to make changes in our timetable, how you can't copy and paste new sessions like in LegitFit.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us a user friendly platform for our members to book in their sessions. I would love more integration other 3rd party apps (MyZone, Inbody) as well.

 ### 16. Intuitive Mobile Flexibility, Minor Fee Frustrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I love that I can edit anything from my phone, like the time of the session, location, and type of session. It's really nice that I can remove or cancel people and go back to return people's credit if needed. If someone has a fever or an emergency, I'm able to adjust things even after the session, which is really helpful. TeamUp also makes tracking payments great, especially with different processors, and it's useful for confirming appointment times and locations. The initial setup was very easy, and I was even ready to start implementing things before the onboarding process was complete.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

I wish that I could remove the credit card processing fee for certain people because some people like to pay via Zelle or something that's not Stripe. So it's still, of course taxable and everything, but there's no credit card processing fee associated with that. So instead, I had to duplicate the entire membership and create a totally separate membership without a fee. Also, here's a big issue. When people have account credit, there's a credit card processing fee. Let's pretend the total of the package is $200. And they had a $50 credit. It's still giving them 3% of the $200 instead of $150 after their account credit has been applied. Because if it's account credit, they shouldn't be charged to process a new fee because their credit card itself is only actually going to be billed for $150.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamUp for tracking payments and preventing forgotten payments. It also helps resolve scheduling disputes, and I love that it shows accurate booking details.

 ### 17. Streamlined Operations with great customer Support and mostly Easy Set-up times

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I like that the customer service is always ready to answer any questions, and they have a real human touch. The software is pretty quick to learn. I also appreciate that all the services and features are included in one price, with no hidden fees, except maybe for the custom branded app. The initial setup was straightforward, and I liked that we received a fourteen-day trial to test out the software and see if it's the right fit. I would recommend others also test out multiple platforms at once to see which they like the fell of

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

I think there are some integrations that would work better with TeamUp. Payment processors could be improved to accept Square. Also, I wanted it to be easier to integrate with ConvertKit or another email marketing provider other than Mailchimp.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamUp manages all my backend operations, like billing instructors and scheduling. It's easy to learn, offers great customer service, and includes everything in one price without hidden fees.

 ### 18. Affordable but Needs Refinement

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I like that TeamUp is affordable and that I can get reports on attendance, which helps me see if I'm meeting my KPIs.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

I find the user sign up flow very clunky and unintuitive. The Zapier integration is limited, and the booking website also feels clunky and unintuitive to me. Some of the reports don't export as expected, which is frustrating. There's a lack of metrics for the notification emails, and often, there are limitations to the system that force me to figure out workarounds. Setting up TeamUp was moderate; some features don't work as expected, and it can be hard to find what I need. However, since I'm comfortable navigating software, it wasn't too bad with some additional support.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamUp to sell memberships and schedule clients. It's affordable and provides reports on attendance, helping me track my KPIs. However, I find the user sign-up flow and booking website clunky, Zapier integration limited, and some report exports don't work as expected.

 ### 19. Reliable Billing with Stripe Integration, But Needs Onboarding Improvement

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I find TeamUp more reliable for billing compared to our old system. I appreciate that it uses Stripe, which is faster for processing payouts and is very easy and transparent for handling refunds and credits. Although we don't often do it, the option to send out separate payment links or invoices directly from Stripe versus TeamUp can be handy at times.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

I have an enormous list of things that need improvement and have shared my feedback already. A customer enrolling for the first time with a future starting date should be charged accordingly, but the system charges them starting today even if they input a future date. TeamUp needs the ability to send out adhoc emails to customers, not just canned notifications. The initial setup and onboarding were horrible and need a lot of improvement.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find TeamUp more reliable for billing than our old system, and I appreciate Stripe for faster payouts and easy refunds.

 ### 20. Intuitive and Effective for Membership Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I like how user-friendly TeamUp is. It's very simple from both the management side and the customer side, making it easy to navigate. I also like the customer management portal where I can see who has signed up but hasn't purchased a session or booked, because this allows me to follow up and boost numbers. Additionally, I appreciate being able to monitor and manage group sizes for each booking. The initial setup of TeamUp was a breeze, or as I like to say, 'easy peasy lemon squeezing.'

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

Sometimes the app is a little bit laggy and takes a little bit of time. And I also think that the web version is probably slightly more user friendly from an information management point of view.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamUp to manage sign-ups and memberships from across Fit box, track bookings, and follow up with customers. It's user-friendly from both management and customer sides.

 ### 21. Easy to Use, Reliable, and Issues Resolved Quickly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Glen T. | Gym owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

It's ease of use and reliability, if I have a problem with it, it is usually sorted out very quickly

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

There's not anything I dislike about Teamup, the only thing I'd say would be good with it is having the payments be sorted through Teamup rather than a processing company like stripe

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's created an easy way for clients to book in and manage their own sessions whilst allowing myself to control their memberships

 ### 22. Efficient CRM with Transparent Pricing, Needs UX Refinements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shiniqua C. | Client Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I like TeamUp's transparent pricing and tiered structure, which helps us, as a small business, to not worry about over-investing in our CRM. I also appreciate the 24/7 support, as it means we can get answers to queries almost immediately.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

I find the software slightly clunky and the UX isn’t as smooth as other companies. I also have issues with the fonts, booking experience, and cookies on the embed settings.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With TeamUp, I can manage both studios on a single platform and track client data efficiently. The transparent pricing and 24/7 support ensure we don't overspend on CRM and get quick answers to queries.

 ### 23. Streamlined Booking with Minor Subscription Glitch

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I like that everything's in one place with TeamUp, which makes it nice and easy to use. I also appreciate the usable app that our customers can use for most of their own upgrades, downgrades, and change of plans. It works quite well for us, as we don't have to do much of the work, which is a big help.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

The only thing that's really an issue is stopping customers from having more than one subscription. Unfortunately, TeamUp doesn't prevent them from taking out multiple subscriptions. We've had a couple of customers where they've reached their limit for the month and then accidentally taken out a second membership, which then double charges them. It is quite a bit of an annoyance, if I'm perfectly honest. It seems to be happening reasonably regularly, but it's not an absolute game changer.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TeamUp keeps everything in one place, making it easy to use for our triathlon coaching business. It simplifies booking swimming sessions and streamlines customer upgrades and changes, reducing workload for us.

 ### 24. Simple Session Booking, but Change Requests Go Unacknowledged

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

The app is simple for our members to use to book in their basic sessions

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

It’s quite rigid and I have put in quite a few change requests that haven’t been actioned and haven’t been acknowledged since I made the request.

For example, the function to allow people to switch session time within the same day without being impacted by late cancellation rules. Without this function we have a lot of unnecessary admin

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I wouldn’t say it’s solving any problems. It provides a booking platform which is essential for a small group personal training studio

 ### 25. User-Friendly Booking, But Too Pricey Without a Lighter Plan

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

Ease of use for me and customers, I have little experience with booking systems and I find it user friendly

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

The cost is high for me as a small studio, I dont use many of the features and I al not saying they are not useful to other people but for me I would live a light version that is more affordable.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teamup benefits me as I dont have to spend lots of time explaining to customers how to book, all payments/refunds are taken care of with little to no problems at all

 ### 26. Easy Setup and Helpful Support, but Slow Updates and Frequent Downtime

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yanpingf . | Admin, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

Easy to start with a new business set up. There are some relatively responsible team members supporting the new users

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

Speed slow, off for many times, not reflecting immediately to the user end if there is any schedule changes or booking reservations

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Certain technique issues that we are not familiar with, they give guidance

 ### 27. Effortless Booking Management with TeamUp

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keshia S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I really like TeamUp for its convenience and up-to-date service. I can have the app on my phone, tablet, or desktop, and it's always logged in for instant use. Setting it up was very easy.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

I find it challenging that TeamUp doesn't support taking payments in-house that go straight to accounts.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TeamUp for client booking at my boxing gym. It resolves technical issues with memberships, payments, and scheduling. I love the convenience and up-to-date service since I can access it on my phone, tablet, or desktop for instant use.

 ### 28. Incredibly Flexible—Fits Our Business Perfectly

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

It is so flexible to the individual set up of our business. Anything I've asked it to do has been possible

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

Literally nothing, completely happy with it

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves us so much time because it does all the things we used to do manually and track on spreadsheets e.g. class bookings, cancellations, rescheduling client bookings and clearly shows billing & outstanding payments.

 ### 29. Feature-Rich and Flexible for Classes and Appointments

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa M. | Marketing & Events Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I like how many different features it has. Being able to use the software for both classes and different appointments.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

I am not super keen on the calendar. I would much prefer to have a drag/drop system to change to a different coaches availability.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving more retention tools has been a great addition!

 ### 30. Easy to Use, Simple Payments, and Quick Issue Resolution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roi L. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

Easy to use, works well with our training app boxmate, simple
Payment collection and when issues usually sorted quickly

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

When we used it - Gocardless because the rebelling for missed payments took ages, other than that nothing really.

Easy to sign up new members and for them to attend classes

 ### 31. Easy to Use and Customer-Friendly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

Easy to use, and both customer- and commercially friendly.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

The only issue is that it doesn’t show me class occupancy percentage daily, weekly or monthly

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like the update to the reports and the new CRM offering.

 ### 32. Great software to spend less time on a computer and more time with clients

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2024

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I’m not tech savvy but the teamup software is so simplified that I never feel incapable of figuring out what to do

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

Lacking some features that I have seen in other apps like a drop-in fee for members different from the public.
Also, members have complained about not being able to see how many people are in their class after the latest app update.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Team up is solving scheduling, memberships, payment and business functions.

**Official Response from Stuart Russell:**

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I appreciate its simplicity and that it doesn't overcomplicate anything. I find it very difficult to get lost or confused, and it's very streamlined. Even though it's not fancy and I sometimes wish it would look nicer, it has everything I need and is very comprehensive.

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

I think just the way it visually looks. Like, it visually looks a bit old and clunky. It doesn't look sleek.

I use TeamUp to allow my customers to book classes directly, manage their passes, and make purchases, which automates the entire booking process and reduces my involvement.

The new gift card way of working is good

It's basically replaced our administrator and chasing of payments.

finance reports, attendances etc

 ### 47. Easy Class Setup and Reporting, but Pricing Feels Too High For a Charty!

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

the ease of creating classes on there, the ease of creating clients on there and the ease of reporting

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

the price - it is expensive. looking at how we can integrate it onto our websire - not sure if this can be done yet

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria M. | Yoga instructor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2025

**What do you like best about TeamUp?**

I love how any changes to my class schedule or membership prices etc are reflected on my website immediately.

The discount codes and milestone emails are something that I use regularly.

When I first signed up for team up the customer support was at the end of the phone line which was brilliant. Now you can still get it over the phone however it needs to be booked

**What do you dislike about TeamUp?**

I wish there was an easy way to show reporting on attendance class numbers and being able to display this in a graph would be REALLY helpful; the same also for revenue so I can see attendance/revenue trends over a 12 month period.

If I'm honest, I don't use all the functionality and the size of my business doesn't really support the price. I would be so happy if there was a way to reduce the quantity of features available to use, and also reduce the cost of the subscription.

**What problems is TeamUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

a booking system for my classes
