What do you dislike about Teampay?

What I don’t like about Teampay is how quickly it logs me out. I understand why it does this from a billing standpoint, but I really wish there were an option to enable or disable the automatic logout, or at least adjust how soon it happens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool as advertised"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Teampay?

All-in-one Spend Management

Teampay centralizes all company spend (P.O.s, invoices, cards, reimbursements) into one system. You don’t need separate tools for purchase orders, expense reimbursements, or physical & virtual cards.

Policy-Driven Approvals & Procurement Workflows

You can enforce spending rules before money leaves your company. Purchases must go through workflows that automatically enforce policies (limits, approvals, etc.). That helps reduce surprises or out-of-policy spending.

Intelligent Cards (Physical & Virtual)

Teampay issues virtual and physical cards, with various control features (limits, vendor restrictions, etc.). Cards can be single-use, recurring, or controlled by amount. This helps reduce misuse, simplifies admin, and improves tracking.

Automation of Accounting / AP Tasks

Lots of manual tasks are automated: from receipt capture and matching, invoice routing / matching to purchase orders, to syncing with the general ledger. That cuts down on manual reconciliation and speeds up month-end.

Real-Time Visibility & Analytics

Dashboards show up-to-date spend across departments, vendors, budgets. That helps teams see where spend is heading, monitor trends, find savings, and make more informed decisions.

Integrations with Existing Tools / ERPs

It works with many popular accounting systems (e.g. NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Xero, Microsoft Dynamics) and integrates with teams / communication tools like Slack or Microsoft Teams. That lets spending workflows, approvals, etc., happen in tools people already use.

Ease of Use / Adoption

Users tend to report that it’s relatively easy to get started, that the interface is clean, and that mobile receipt-upload + work in Slack / Teams helps reduce friction.

Flexible & Scalable Controls

Because policies / rules are built in, you can tailor cards, workflows, restrictions, etc., to departments, types of spend, currencies, etc. Also, as the company scales (geographically or in headcount), these tools can scale too.

Improved Speed & Accountability of Purchases

With upfront approval workflows plus virtual cards, employees can often get what they need faster — without having to wait for finance or procurement to manually cut a check. And there’s more accountability (audit trails, who approved what, etc.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Teampay?

Some users want more customization in expense account / budget filtering or naming.

Occasionally there are delays or minor glitches (e.g. in payment method changes) from user reports.

Some vendors may not accept virtual cards. That's often outside Teampay’s control but can affect usage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
