## Teampay Reviews
  ### 1. Teampay Streamlines Transparent Spend Control with Real-Time Visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Areeba S. | practice cordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

What I like best about Teampay is its ability to streamline and control company spending in a transparent, accountable way. The platform simplifies purchasing by integrating approval workflows directly into tools teams already use, which improves efficiency while maintaining strong budget oversight. It also enhances visibility into real-time spend, helping organizations make more informed financial decisions and maintain compliance without slowing down operations.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

One potential drawback of Teampay is that its structured approval workflows, while helpful for control and compliance, can sometimes slow down urgent or time-sensitive purchases. Additionally, the platform may require an adjustment period for teams who are used to more flexible spending processes, and certain integrations or customization options may not fully align with every organization’s unique operational needs.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teampay solves the challenge of managing company spend by combining real-time visibility, automated approvals, and integrated payment controls. This helps prevent unauthorized purchases, reduces manual expense reporting, and ensures budgets are adhered to without slowing down team workflows. For me, this means I can make necessary purchases quickly and efficiently, while leadership retains confidence that spending is tracked, compliant, and aligned with organizational priorities. It reduces administrative overhead, streamlines financial processes, and creates a more transparent, accountable spending environment.

  ### 2. Time-Saving, Seamless Integration with Room for Enhancement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angie A. | Events Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

I appreciate that Teampay is integrated with my Microsoft account, which makes it a seamless experience. I like the convenience of receiving notifications and reminders to upload receipts through a single app like Teams, which saves me time and eliminates the hassle of using multiple platforms. The easy access to my credit card transactions and balance is also beneficial. The ability to upload bulk receipts is a great feature, and I love how the system matches the receipts to charges automatically. A single login reduces hassle and adds to the convenience of using Teampay.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

I have used systems where once the expense is submitted, the transaction is automatically hidden. I know I can filter them out but it's nice to have it 'auto' filter for me so I don't have to keep manually refreshing the filter on my own. It would also be nice to have an easier way to see if a transaction is completely filled out (coded for accounting, the description, etc.) versus manually checking it. For example, if I upload bulk receipts, I have to go in and check each transaction to make sure the requirements have been met. It would be nice to upload a bunch of receipts and the transaction stays in the transaction history with a status of 'incomplete' and then once I fill out the required information, I can save it and it marks it as 'complete'. I've noticed that sometimes I miss updating the data requirements because it automatically filled it out for me and was accidentally coded wrong.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teampay saves me time with seamless integration and single login. Notifications remind me to upload receipts, and I appreciate the bulk upload feature matching receipts to charges. It streamlines managing credit card transactions, eliminating hassles and providing easy access to transaction details.

  ### 3. Effortless Reimbursements with Room for Faster Disbursements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie L. | Senior AML Compliance Specialist/Deputy AML Officer

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

I love that Teampay literally walks me through what information I need to add, making it quick and easy. I don't really have to think about what is needed. The automatic approval feature is also great because I don't have to wait for my reimbursement long. It's easy to submit a reimbursement request and helps me remember all the information I need to provide for successful reimbursement. The initial setup was pretty easy, as I just logged in using our business email credentials and all was set up. Additionally, Teampay is currently integrated with our Slack.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

I wish the disbursement was quicker. From the approval, it takes about 5 business days to get the money in my account. Once approved, the disbursement should also go through at least same day so we can get the money in our accounts within 2 to 3 business days as opposed to a whole week.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teampay makes it easy to submit reimbursement requests and remember all necessary information. It simplifies the process by guiding me through what I need to add. The automatic approval is great because it speeds up reimbursement time.

  ### 4. Streamlined Reimbursements with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucie S.

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

I like Teampay's interface because it is easy to use, and I have the option of using it on Slack if I prefer. I'm never confused about how to submit things, and the steps are very easy to follow when submitting receipts for reimbursement or attempting to make a purchase with a generated card. I especially like the option to generate a card to use because sometimes it's better than waiting to be reimbursed, but it's great to have both options. The initial setup was also very easy, which was a positive experience.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

I wish you could submit receipts in different formats - I don't think you can submit a certain file type and I sometimes have to work around that. I also sometimes run into the issue of a purchase timing out before approval has been granted to generate a card, and that's a little bit tricky.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teampay makes the reimbursement process simple and speedy. Its easy-to-use interface and Slack integration ensure I'm never confused when submitting receipts or making purchases with a generated card, offering flexibility and convenience.

  ### 5. What I Like Best About Teampay

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isabela S. | Intern, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

Teampay’s greatest strength lies in its ability to transform complex financial oversight into a seamless, everyday experience. Its ease of implementation ensures that companies can modernize their spend management without the typical software-deployment headache, while its ease of use makes the platform instantly accessible to employees. By integrating directly into tools like Slack and Microsoft Teams, Teampay achieves a high frequency of use; it meets users within their existing daily workflows, making purchasing feel like a natural conversation rather than a bureaucratic chore.

Despite having a robust number of features—including automated policy enforcement and real-time budget tracking—the platform never feels overwhelming, as the complexity is managed through an intuitive interface. This sophistication extends to its ease of integration, where it syncs effortlessly with major accounting systems to ensure data accuracy and eliminate manual reconciliation. Finally, this technical excellence is backed by highly responsive customer support, resulting in a reliable ecosystem that empowers employees to move fast while giving finance teams total, effortless control.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

While Teampay offers significant advantages, there are a few areas where the experience could be smoother. The approval process can feel overly rigid when dealing with complex or non-standard purchases, which occasionally slows down urgent requests. On the technical side, I’ve encountered intermittent receipt upload issues, and there have been instances where virtual cards were not accepted by certain vendors. Addressing these friction points would go a long way in making the platform's robust feature set feel even more seamless.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps me deal with international payments

  ### 6. Easy, Cardless Purchasing with Smooth Approvals in Microsoft Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

It makes it easy to make company purchases without having to hold a physical card. It helps that my supervisor automatically is sent my request for her approval, which eliminates me needing to ask her separately. I like that it is integrated within Microsoft Teams. It's easy to upload supporting documentation. I use it frequently for ordering supplies for our research studies.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

A downside of using Teampay is when the total purchase amount ends up being more than originally requested for the card. When the increased amount has to be approved again, this can make it hard for the vendor and for me, because I have to make sure they know that they can charge the card again. This isn't a fault of Teampay though, it's just an inconvenience sometimes. Otherwise, nothing to note.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps with budgeting and billing, since our company has many different projects going on. It helps streamline purchase approvals and documentation. It's nice to have everything consolidated in one platform.

  ### 7. Effortless Purchases with Quick Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samantha R. | Medical Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

I like the ease of learning how to use Teampay, it's very straightforward. Also, I find the initial setup to be very easy. It's useful because I can place orders from services like Uber or online portals without needing to use my personal card. The app itself is very useful and I didn't feel the need for any further suggestions. Overall, I rate it a 10 for recommending to friends or colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

Sometimes it takes a while to load for approval.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Teampay to order from services like Uber without using my personal card, and I appreciate not having to gather complete vendor info or amounts upfront.

  ### 8. Efficient Vendor Payments via Slack Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Surbhi M.

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

I like the Slack integration with Teampay because it makes it easier for me to raise requests and get approvals directly without visiting any other platform. It's fast and effective which really helps streamline my process. Additionally, setting up Teampay was easy for me.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

I find it inconvenient that on the portal, you can see with whom the approval is still pending, but it would be better if this feature was available directly in Slack. When I raise a request and it goes to multiple people for approval, I would like to get real-time updates on Slack about whose approval is still pending. This way, I wouldn't have to go to the portal to check the status.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teampay makes it easier to raise and approve vendor payment requests quickly using Slack, streamlining the process without needing to leave the platform.

  ### 9. Convenience with Bumpy Integration

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richie C.

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

I like the relative simplicity of submitting receipts with Teampay. I find it convenient to use the app to take pictures of receipts. Having a physical card that is refillable is helpful too.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

We had a very bumpy start with Teampay. The integration with Amazon was not working well, and it would cause a lot of delays. Quite often, things were not delivered on time due to delays and lags in the approval processes, even though the delivery window was well within the needed time frame at the time of purchasing. Our CFO has worked with both Teampay and Amazon to fix these issues.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teampay helps with reporting expenses and submitting receipts. I like the relative simplicity of submitting receipts, and it's convenient to take pictures of them using the app. The refillable card is useful for discretionary spending.

  ### 10. its easy to use easy and convenient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

It's great to have everything conveniently within reach.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

Teampay is feature-rich, but some small businesses or teams may find it too complex or overwhelming compared to simpler expense tools.

The implementation effort may outweigh the benefits if the company doesn’t have a lot of spend to manage.
Employees often need training to adapt to the platform.

If staff aren’t tech-savvy, the process of submitting and approving spend requests can initially feel slower than using a company card directly. While Teampay integrates with accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.), some users report syncing issues or delays.

Not all software stacks integrate seamlessly, which may require manual reconciliation. The platform enforces strict approval workflows. This is great for control, but in practice it can cause delays in urgent purchases if managers aren’t quick to approve.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

easy to upload receipts and then get paid

  ### 11. Intuitive, Efficient, Needs a UI Tweak

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe K.

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

I really appreciate Teampay's intuitiveness and ease of use, which I think is very good. Using Teampay made it a lot easier for me to avoid having to submit bills manually because payments automatically translate into the system. I didn't have to worry about uploading or losing documentation, which was a great relief. Additionally, the initial setup was quite simple, as I just signed in with my official email address and it logged me in smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

The UI is a little bit too simple. Also, from a process perspective, I found it a bit unclear, especially when it came to permissions and needing to get subtotals done.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teampay makes it easier by automating payments and integrating with the system, so I don't have to worry about uploading and losing documentation.

  ### 12. Easy Setup, but Help Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

It was easy to setup cards for use while traveling.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

I experienced some issues while traveling. Though Teampay cards were approved, because they were not in my name the things booked for me by my company were all blocked for potential fraud. I got stuck at an airport for hours trying to get things fixed. Then there was an outage that affected already approved cards from working, and I did not receive any assistance due to it happening over the weekend. I think 24/7 assistance should be available with this kind of program.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unsure of what Teampay is solving. My first experience was not the best, and I've had better experiences with other companies and their 3rd party pay apps.

  ### 13. Teampay always comes in handy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naujai K. | Lab Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

I appreciate how I can make requests easily and purchases fairly quickly. What I like best about Teampay is how it balances flexibility for employees with control for the finance team. It makes the spending process simple and intuitive, so people can get what they need without waiting on long approvals or going out-of-pocket. At the same time, finance gets real-time visibility and guardrails, which keeps everything compliant and predictable. That combination of empowerment and control is what really stands out to me.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

if you request an amount then discover you need more, you may need to cancel and re-submit instead of editing; or once a card is set up (single-use vs multi-use), you may not be able to change it. refunds sometimes are hard to track

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

allowing us to properly track and spend within budget. I don't have to to pay out of pocket and wait for reimbursement .

  ### 14. Ease of Team Pay

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ava P. | Administrative Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

I love the fact of less paper and adding your receipts digitally. Also the ease of purchasing is great.

Overall I do feel that it is easy to use and implement within what we do. I purchase a lot so I am using it quite frequently.

It was easily integrated in what we do. I do like having a physical card for random purchases.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

Initially we had an issue with multiple addresses on Amazon. Everything was sent to the default address but it was resolved.

If you don't pick weekly, the cards will not auto refill and therefor when you go to make a purchase your wait is longer waiting on the approval.

Even if a purchase goes over a penny it still gets declined.

Having to wait for an approval is not always helpful if something needs to be ordered immediately.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To better keep track of expanses in a paperless system.

  ### 15. Teampay Simplifies Company Spending with Seamless Approvals and Strong Controls

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

What I like most about Teampay is how it simplifies company spending while keeping strong financial controls in place. It makes approvals seamless, improves visibility into expenses, and creates a better experience for both employees and finance teams.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

One thing I dislike about Teampay is that the structured approval workflows, while helpful for control, can sometimes feel rigid for teams that need flexibility for urgent or unconventional purchases. Additionally, new users may experience a learning curve when first adapting to the platform, especially if they are transitioning from a more informal expense process.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teampay is solving the problem of uncontrolled and reactive company spending by shifting from reimbursement-based expense management to proactive spend control. Instead of employees making purchases first and seeking approval later, Teampay builds approvals directly into the purchasing process. This reduces policy violations, minimizes surprise expenses, and improves budget accountability.

For me, this means fewer back-and-forth emails, faster approvals, and clearer visibility into where money is being spent in real time. It saves time, reduces manual work, and makes financial tracking more accurate and predictable, ultimately allowing me to focus on more strategic tasks rather than administrative follow-ups.

  ### 16. A lot of bugs so far

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard C. | Family Pastor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

I like being able to take a picture of a receipt right away to upload it. I don't have to hold onto it and remember to do it later.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

So far, the Amazon integration has been full of bugs. For the first few weeks we had it, TeamPay wouldn't go to Amazon to be able to start purchasing. Once it did take me to Amazon, my delivery address would get changed without notice. I would make the purchase, double-check the address, then send it for approval. Once it was approved, the address would get automatically changed by the system, not the approver.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The only thing it has improved so far is being able to fill out purchase orders and requests online. I also appreciate having a list of purchases and easily seeing which ones are still waiting for a receipt.

  ### 17. Effortless Reimbursements and Easy Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie T.

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

I find Teampay very easy to use. I also really like using the link to Amazon Business - it makes ordering simple and deliveries come quickly. Learning how to use Teampay was very easy for me, and I would definitely recommend it.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

I wish for a better search function for finding the expense category and finding the approving party. I also want Teampay to remember my most-used settings and show them at the top of the list.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Teampay for getting reimbursed, requesting a credit card for one-time use, and handling professional development payments.

  ### 18. Easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carol T. | Health Coach, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

It is an instant service that allows in the spot services. Meaning you submitt the request and it is received right away and the services are ready for use.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

You have to be very careful when submitting a request, if a mistake is made it declines the transaction.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None that I can think of as of now

  ### 19. Teampay is better than competition

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samuel S. | Design Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

I like how easy it is to request and approve purchases without having to go through endless email chains. The interface is intuitive, and it gives our team more autonomy while still keeping finance in control.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

Sometimes the platform feels a bit rigid — if a purchase doesn’t fit neatly into the approval flow, it can take extra steps to resolve. The reporting features could also be more customizable to better match different department needs.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teampay eliminates the bottlenecks around purchasing and expense management. Instead of chasing down approvals or waiting for reimbursements, employees can make approved purchases quickly while finance maintains full visibility and control. This saves time, reduces errors, and gives us cleaner data for budgeting and reporting.

  ### 20. Exceptionally Accurate and User-Friendly Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Alternative Medicine | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

Accuracy, user friendly, Easy to track your payments.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

Approval flows can feel rigid (too many steps for small purchases, harder to handle exceptions).

Limited or finicky integrations with certain ERPs/accounting tools, and sync delays can happen.

Receipt + coding cleanup still takes time—especially when users forget receipts or pick the wrong category/project.

Reporting isn’t always as flexible as you want (custom fields, filtering, and exports can feel constrained).

Card/merchant rule management can be powerful but a bit complex to set up and maintain.

Mobile experience can lag behind desktop for admins/power users.

Support/issue resolution can be slower than ideal when something blocks spend.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teampay is solving the “spend chaos” problem by putting requests, approvals, company cards, and accounting codes in one workflow. That benefits me by:

Reducing back-and-forth between employees, managers, and finance (clear approvals + policy checks up front)

Speeding up purchasing while still keeping controls (virtual/physical cards tied to an approved request)

  ### 21. Teampay Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

What I like best about Teampay is the ease and use for our office when making purchases. We don't have to use our personal credit cards and can use Teampay for office expenses and engagement for the office. Having Teampay available for us to use is such a great and convenient way to make purchases.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

With Teampay the only downside is having to get approval and sometimes it takes time. If the approver doesn't set a delegate while they are away from the office we would have to reach out to the teampay team or worst case it usually doesn't get approve on time we would have to use our personal credit card.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem Teampay is solving is lack of visibility into spending.

-When different teams or employees spend in different ways (credit cards, reimbursement, invoice, etc.), finance often doesn’t know what’s being spent until much later.

-Committed spend (i.e. purchase requests, outstanding invoices) often isn’t reflected until after it’s approved or processed.

However, when we spend and use teampay we have a specfic budget for office expense, team engagement, etc. that we don't go over our budget when utilizing Teampay.

  ### 22. Reduces Reimbursement Delays and Keeps Spending Organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

It reduces reimbursement delays and keeps spending organized.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

The approval workflow can feel rigid at times and improving edit flexibility and receipt uploads would make it even more efficient.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of paying out of pocket and waiting for reimbursement, I can request funds upfront and use a virtual card, which saves time and reduces financial stress.

  ### 23. Easy to use, efficient

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

Teampay streamlines company spending by providing real-time visibility, automated reconciliation, and proactive policy enforcement, all within an easy-to-use platform. It helps finance teams maintain control while simplifying purchase approvals and integrating smoothly with major accounting systems.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

I sometimes find the interface unintuitive, approval workflows and integrations somewhat rigid, and the mobile app and automated expense categorization limited, occasionally requiring manual fixes.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teampay addresses the challenge of managing company spending by providing real-time visibility into expenses, enforcing spending policies automatically, and simplifying the approval and reconciliation process. This helps our team maintain financial control, reduces manual errors, and speeds up purchasing workflows, ultimately saving time and improving efficiency.

  ### 24. Great tool for managing spend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paige V. | Sr. Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

One feature I've recently found super helpful is the ability to increase monthly amount on approved virtual card, so no need to create a new one! I also like that I can assign MCC to cards, so that we have a better control on where the funds are used.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

I actually like Teampay no complains so far!

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since end users can code their expenses as they go, Acct doesn't need to clean everything up at month end, which saves us so much time and reduced back-and-forth with expense owners

  ### 25. Easy and Efficient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

Efficiency is key when using Teampay. It streamlines the process for budgeting and processing orders for work related things. I appreciate the visibility it provides with the dashboard showing a spend tracker

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

The platform does not allow users to edit the spending amount after a request has been approved, which requires creating an entirely new request. Similarly, the credit card type cannot be changed from single-use to multi-use after it has been approved.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The overall efficiency of the platform. It is making the usage of this platform a lot easier and more streamlined which is useful especially when I am using this platform for work.

  ### 26. Super Easy to Use App

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

The easiness to use the app is one of my favorites.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

I dislike waiting for approval requests.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

teampay is helping us solve placing orders at outside facilities.

  ### 27. Easy to use - but room for improvement!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jourdan F. | Event Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

What I love about TeamPay is its super user friendly. Requesting a one time use card is super easy and fast to do. Creating a PO is super straightforward as well. I love that I don't have to put in a ton of information just to get a PO processed. The Slack integration makes the process even more seamless. I also love how easy it is to attach a receipt via Slack.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

The only thing I dislike about TeamPay is the low approval threshold. I work in event planning so I make a lot of transactions in my role. Having to get anything over $100 approved by my manager is tedious and time consuming.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think the biggest issue it resolves for me is attaching receipts/creating entire expense reports. In my previous jobs I'd have to go in and create and entire expense report for purchases, but with TeamPay I can do them one by one on the spot and it makes it much easier to stay on top of things.

  ### 28. User friendly and simple for anyone to use.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan E. | Lab tech, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

Teampay is an ease to use and helps keep track of all purchases without hassle.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

There is little to not like about team pay. They could cut down the amount of things to fill out.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teampay is a great tool to keep account of all speanding with ease.

  ### 29. Teampay Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

Generally works the way it should, and good for simple reimbursements

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

Sometimes takes a long time for approvals

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reimbursing for team expenses

  ### 30. Easy, Straightforward, Quick

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

I like that everything happens instantly and directions on what is needed next are provided right away and very clearly.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

Requires approval from second person for everything.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teampay is allowing me to use a company card for HR expenses. I am able to submit things quickly and have manager visibility.

  ### 31. Using teampay for a 4 years

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Industrial Automation | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

Teampay makes it super easy to get credit cards for taking care of business needs. I like having flexibility to get different types of credit cards for different uses (one time use, recuring, etc.). Approvals are fast and easy.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

The one time use cards are a great idea, but often problematic for two reasons: sometimes a vendor will try to authorize the card which often closes the card since it has experienced a transaction. Sometimes a vendor splits an order up into more than one shipment or charges the shipping fees separately. This leads to more than one transaction which isn't supported by a one-time use card. It would be nice to set a maximum number of transactions per card say 2 or 3. We often default to "card on file" to solve the problem of multiple unexpected transactions, but this somewhat defeats the purpose of limited use cards.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

makes it easy to buy things without adding overhead.

  ### 32. Teampay is a good platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Camila Z. | People Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

I've been using Teampay for a while now, and the platform is simple and intuitive, which makes it incredibly easy to navigate, even for those who might not be tech-savvy. I appreciate how streamlined the entire process is, from submitting a request to receiving approvals—everything just works seamlessly.

I've rarely encountered any issues, and when I have, the support team has been exceptional. The chat support is responsive and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

I wish I could share the POs with others beyond just those who need to approve them

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teampay is the platform we use to submit our expenses to the payments team, and it works really well.

  ### 33. Quick implementation, easy to use and excellent Netsuite integration.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher K. | Director of Financial Systems, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

Quick implementation, esy to use AI, excellent microsoft team integration... and it automatically creates vendors in Netsuite for credit cards!

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

It's easy to ignore the reminders to approve cards. I wish there was an "auto decline" functionality or there were progressively more and more reminders to approve. I.E. 1 email a day then 2 emails then 6. After 2 weeks of unapproved cards, it declines the request and notifies the manager of the person who did not approve in time. The requirement to fund the account in advance is a detractor when compared to competitors like Brex and Ramp. Also, the policy controls are not as robust as a Navan. However, it is excellent for replacing corporate cards and for anything not involving a PO.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a platform that could replace corporate cards, but also tag the vendors on transactions.

  ### 34. Team Pay makes accounting, expenses and management easy!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

The budgeting, oversight and transparency it creates.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

Sometimes the approval process has to happen outside the system for expedited services.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Discretionary fund management.

  ### 35. Easy to use and one of the only tools out there that properly pushes vendor data to NetSuite

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David A. | Director of Accounting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

I love how easy it is for our users, how solid the integration is, how easy it is the implement, and how it tags vendors for you when integrating with NetSuite. No other tool we've looked into pushes vendor data for virtual card spend like TeamPay does.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

I really wish Teampay didn't need to worry about the 'buffer' of funding a separately bank account for spending. Some companies in this space act as a financial institution and simply charge you at the end of the month for your spend. We would also love to see improvements to the approver dashboard that is intuitive and easy to use, as well as a view that shows all approvals and makes it easy for functional owners to follow up with approvers in bulk.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Replacing Physical Pcards and making receipt collection easier. Improving visibility and and controls with credit card spend.

  ### 36. Simple Process for Business Purchases

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

Teampay is a super simple tool for us to use via Slack to get funds as needed for various purchases. The tool itself is streamlined and puts you through a workflow to easily request funds that then goes through an automated approval flow.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

The only downside is the visibility side - if there are any delays in getting approval, it doesn't show you what step of the approval process the request is in so you aren't able to reach out if needed.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teampay allows us to make corporate purchases without needing a corporate card or using a personal card and reimbursing. It has streamlined our approval process and minimized the number of reimbursements.

  ### 37. User-Friendly, Intuitive Interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

Teampay is very quick to learn, well-labeled, intuitive. Accomplishes the goal of requesting business expenses and tracking so you don't have to keep paper receipts, scans, or your own spreadsheet.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

The multiple reminder emails when you have made a purchase with a requested/approved card are kind of annoying. Also, typically if you request a one-time use card, it declines when you add a tip because it's considered a secondary use.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teampay makes sure that my business expenses/ purchases with company card are all neatly organized, labeled, accounted for.

  ### 38. Feedback on product new

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

Managers approvals don't function properly. Thx

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Putting up a hurdle so staff don't spend so quickly and easy. Painful

  ### 39. Quick, easy and direct

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

the efficiancy and prompt responses to obtain what is needed

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

Having to wait till an authorized user approves. Can only use online. Needing approval for any changes every time. Delays.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

allowing quick turnaround to pay what is needed for practices

  ### 40. Teampay is a convenient way to pay for work related food/transportation/event supplies/etc.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Teampay?**

Quick and easy card approvals to use ASAP. Easy to use through different sites and easy to upload receipts for proof of use.

**What do you dislike about Teampay?**

Unable to use when the approver was out of office or when the approver moved to a different position. It was always a long and painful process when a new manager was in the position and the old manager was continuing to receive Teampay approval requests.

**What problems is Teampay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teampay helped us in avoiding using our personal cards for business expenses and having to wait 1-2 weeks to receive reimbursement.

  ### 41. fast and straight forward

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

team pay helpls with getting vredentials fast and things needed around the clinic
