TeamOhana is the easiest way to see all heacount activity within a company that I've ever seen. Downsides may be that the technology is new and so more features will be on the roadmap, but the turnaround time to getting features or getting your requests in are great. We used spreadsheets in the past, and it created a lot of resourcing issues. They have been super flexible and attentive to the needs of our team. We had a rocky start to implementation, but they stuck through it and have been very accommodating. TeamOhana has been really helpful in improving our business processes - we have improved existing processes by having them in one place with clear levels of access and created new, more formal methods, such as specific approval workflows, that we didn't have in place previously. UI is very friendly, so intuitive you need very little training. The onboarding process was excellent, we felt very supported throughout. This tool really helped us step away from sheets and manual processes which allowed us to focus our time towards higher impact items. I could tell immediately that they understood the pains of Headcount planning, and the platform solves many of our issues today. The interface is very user-friendly and integrates with all of our existing softwares. TeamOhana's onboarding process has also been great. They are super responsive and open to product feedback. TeamOhana is the one-stop shop for all things related to headcount. It provides a single source of truth for hiring managers, recruiters, and finance to collaborate, take action, and analyze the hiring plan all in one centralized place. With the integrations to both our ATS and HRIS, TeamOhana provides a real-time view into the entire lifecycle of a headcount, from initial budget planning to employee hire. Additionally, the powerful filter functionality allows you to slice and dice the data however you need. Do you need a snapshot into all open roles? Check. Engineering roles planned for Q3 level 2-4 in the US? Check. At-risk GTM roles with near-term start dates that haven't yet been filled? Check. Expected annual Marketing headcount cost? Check. What do you dislike about TeamOhana? We don't have anything to dislike about TeamOhana. It has provided immediate value to us since implementation. While there may be small bugs/issues that arise, their support team is phenomenal and will jump in immediately to help resolve any issues. If there is ever a situation where a user is blocked, TeamOhana support throws all hands on deck to make sure there is a quick fix, and also follows up to ensure everything is running smoothly. Before TeamOhana, our headcount process was conducted in bespoke spreadsheets across the organization. Finance owned the "master" spreadsheet, hiring managers had separate spreadsheets/miro boards/notion pages, and recruiting worked with finance to matrix this all together. Approvals and changes were often conducted via slack messages or by leaving comments in a spreadsheet Additionally, in a spreadsheet, the data was "stale" the second someone decided to change anything, and it took hours to reconcile across our various forms of communication. With TeamOhana, we have a real-time view of how our spend is tracking vs plan. We can manipulate the data based on time period, division, department, hiring manager, etc, and with a few "clicks of the button" we can help managers and leaders restructure thier hiring plans on the fly. This enables us to have valuable conversations with leaders that drive top-line initiatives. As one of the admins and key users, I can confidently say that I don't spend any time in spreadsheets manually reconciling numbers anymore. Our weekly recruiting update that used to take hours now takes minutes. We trust and know the data in TeamOhana is always up-to-date and accurate. We've been using TeamOhana for 12 months now, and have seen the evolution of this product from its early days to now.
