The same people are engaged in different projects. We were always pushing the project for which the deadline was just around the corner. This way of running business causes a lot of stress and frictions. For sure, it is not a friendly environment for the people. Finally, we grew up and confessed - it is beyond our control, and we must find a solution. I proposed to implement the TEAMGANTT, and that's how it started. The most significant advantage of using TEAMGANTT daily is that we know in advance when something is beyond the schedule and where the risk of not meeting the deadline is the highest. We can react fast and find the solutions before the hell starts. Of course, the TEAMGANTT is the software and simply just cannot solve all our organization or communication problems. But for sure it helps us to improve significantly in this field. I recommend this tool for all the teams that face the same difficulties as we do. **What do you dislike about TeamGantt?** I dislike the fact that some basic features like baseline are not available in the free version. However, I quickly realized that this free version is just an invitation to TEAMGANTT, and once you try this, you will not quit. What should be corrected is the mobile application - not all options are available from this level - I believe TEAMGATT will improve this too. **Recommendations to others considering TeamGantt:** Don't hestitate :) **What problems is TeamGantt solving and how is that benefiting you?** The fact is that when you don't use TEAMGANTT, you underestimate the time needed for the particular actions/tasks. As a result, you declare the deadline earlier than you should. When you work with TEAMGANTT, you automatically take more elements into consideration, you are more detailed, you plan better, and as a result, you are more accurate. ### 2. I feel that team gantt is great for managing small short term projects. I have not been able to see how it performs for long term projects. **What do you dislike about TeamGantt?** The software has a lot of sub menus that are often hard to use initial. **Recommendations to others considering TeamGantt:** If you are looking for a short term project management tool that effectively generates gantt charts for task assignment and progress monitoring. Than team gantt would be a viable software solution. I am not sure if team gantt would work as well on longer projects because of how complex and broken down each task needs to be inorder for the project management solution to be effective. It might not work well for projects that are still at the big picture stage that don't have a defined plan for success. **What problems is TeamGantt solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using team gantt to develop industrial drone solutions. It is also great to estimate workload. I love that it has a free (limited) version, that can be very useful for small organizations, groups, families, school projects etc. **What do you dislike about TeamGantt?** On the Gantt chart, the minimum period is 1 day. This is often too long. when creating and using dependencies, to meet deadlines a shorter period (bar length for a task) would be a great help, in order to be able to schedule dependent tasks one after another, on the same day **What problems is TeamGantt solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can not imagine working without this, or a similar app! We use it to plan the activity of our team and have an update regarding the status of multiple parallel projects. With the templates we made (for our team's specific activity) it is super easy to estimate, track, and keep a deadline. ### 6. We love how the system will show you how much of the project has been completed in percentages. You can also check on your completed projects, held projects and your active projects. Overall it's a great system to use and we highly recommend it **What do you dislike about TeamGantt?** It would be nice to be able to add users to the projects or to be able to add someone to a project as someone who can only view the project and not edit it. Great that it's hosted and can be accessed by anyone, anywhere. Love the simple colors and dead easy interface. Once I got the hang of creating sub tasks, then there was no stopping. Updates, notes, assigning tasks, linking. Super easy. **What do you dislike about TeamGantt?** Switching to a zoom of week view. The colors are a bit too light. I use this view in my monthly management report, and it's a bit hard to see. Also, the gap between rows could be shorter. I didn't need any assistance to set up my chart. Now I also like how easy it is to modify the chart by simply dragging the task bars. Moreover, the PDF printouts look really great and I appreciate that the font size and time range can be modified. **What do you dislike about TeamGantt?** It would be nice if creating sequences of tasks was a bit easier. It would be great if I could just move one task in a series and all other connected tasks would move as well. **What problems is TeamGantt solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm using TeamGantt to plan my three-year PhD. Creating a Gantt-chart was a requirement from my supervisors. I don't have a background in project management but I found it super easy to create a clear chart with TeamGantt and export it as PDF to share with my supervisors. I want to be able to export the Gantt chart into an excel or sheet document so I can share it with other departments who may not have the program. But the tools were very comprehensive. The process to add dependencies is straightforward but took me a bit. **What problems is TeamGantt solving and how is that benefiting you?** My manager supplied an outdated guide. Part of this reason is making sure that people stay logged into their web based software and remember to click the start and end on the stop watch function. This would be easier to use if it was an app they could have on the bottom of their screen while they work on their task. I am trying to introduce more accountability for people and their tasks and in the same nature get a better judgment on the hours in will take each individual to complete a task in comparison to the baseline our office has as a standard. **What problems is TeamGantt solving and how is that benefiting you?** If the project is mapped out correctly in the software, it is easy to see when a project should be completed with the staffing available. In many cases, our clients ask for a faster timeline on their project but it wasn't easy to see how this would affect the other projects with in the office. Now with staffing availability, we can see how the other projects get pushed out if we need to switch man power onto one specific project to get it out the door quicker. ### 33. This tool allows PMs, but more importantly all resources to see the full project in one screen. So often resources get lost in there own work with there own individual task times being their only focus. TeamGantt allows us all to see the big picture which aids in calling out risks earlier. **What do you dislike about TeamGantt?** If I had one criticism it would be the lack of of an option to turn on WBS numbering. Being somewhat of a PM purist and finding easier to reference WBS numbers than task names would help. **Recommendations to others considering TeamGantt:** Trial Trial Trial....and use real projects or products...don't use fake scenarios...It takes time but is well worth it. Nothing like using a product in anger to find out where the limitations are. **What problems is TeamGantt solving and how is that benefiting you?** The product is being used as the centralised IT project management and scheduling tool. The holly grail of of all department projects. The benefits realised are almost instantaneous when you can see over allocated resources or clashing projects on the Gantt bar view. Other platforms I've found are either too bare bones or overly complex and take too long to learn. **What do you dislike about TeamGantt?** I haven't found anything yet that I dislike about Team Gantt, although I have not yet expanded my license to include more than a couple team members. **What problems is TeamGantt solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm able to quickly visualize project timelines to see where conflicts exist and adapt the plan as needed.
