I really like using Aligned for sales because it helps keep everything in one place for my prospects, like demos and proposal decks. I like that Aligned is easy to use and doesn't cause any fuss. I also appreciate the many capabilities it offers to really build it out. It's great for keeping my clients and myself organized and helps prioritize accounts. I use it as a centralized portal to organize client materials and recorded calls, and for tracking engagement and sharing with new stakeholders. The initial setup took minutes, which was very convenient.

Sometimes I am not fully confident in how I am using the link sharing controls and if it is easy for the client on their side.

There is very little customization. The types of embeds and blocks are very limited. It's hard to manage many customers together.

**What do you like best about Aligned?**

I love that as a seller it gives us tremendous leverage in a deal. It's a tool to stay organized, to anticipate our prospects needs, and to curate a buying experience that removes the chaos, streamlines the next steps and offers clarity in decision making. I especially enjoy the ability to showcase customer stories and to have an insiders view into the buyer's activity. I've also appreciated all the customer support from the team- they were always there to help, provide above and beyond guidance.

**What do you dislike about Aligned?**

The only area that I think needs some tweaking is organizing the chats. Can be hard to know where you chatted and to find the last thread but that seems to be more user adoption than a product issue.

**What problems is Aligned solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps to streamline all of the communication chaos that happens in a deal. Emails get lost, we lose momentum, new voices come in at the last minute and slow a deal down...with Aligned we reduce that tremendously. The buyer now has one source of truth, all of the information is now at the buyers fingertips and the seller can anticipate next steps, next resource needed in a much more calculated way. It has sped up our days in stage.

**What do you like best about Aligned?**

Best thing about this tool is Deal Tranparency and how intentionally it’s built around smooth deal execution and cross functional clarity between sales team and customer rather than just content transfer. the digital sales rooms provide a structured, buyer centric workspace where all relevant documents, discussions, and timelines live in one place, reducing friction for both sellers and buyers. the mutual action plans are especially strong. they clearly define milestones, owners, and deadlines, all the teams are notified and works in very structured way. which helps align internal teams and external stakeholders while keeping deals accountable and predictable.

**What do you dislike about Aligned?**

For the customer team and Sales team the Data of Buyer Engagement is very much need and it should be deeper. For Integration part, basic integration is still working fine but when we go for deeper sync and automation it does not work up to the mark.

As the digital sales room it is getting us focused more on work rather than focusing on other stuffs like mails management and action plans management now as we are centralized with one digital sales room and all are working in focused way so that productivity of our team is going very good

Selling corporate training programs requires wrangling multiple stakeholders, usually an HR director. Aligned digital sales rooms have been a total game changer for our partnership team. Instead of burying decision-makers in messy email threads with five different PDF attachments for the course syllabuses, we can keep everything in one place, and the mutual action plan is excellent.

**What do you dislike about Aligned?**

We sometimes invite a corporate client into a beautifully designed workspace, only for them to ignore it and reply by email asking us to just attach the brochure.

**What problems is Aligned solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our biggest bottleneck was multi-threading. Aligned ACK served as the centralized collaboration hub. When the department head invites the finance counterpart into the aligned office, we get instant notifications and can see exactly which documents they’re reviewing.

**What do you like best about Aligned?**

I've used Aligned to help keep deals moving, and recently started using it as a cold outreach tool. I have a 4-section Aligned Template that I customize and send to people who are showing mild interest.  I say to them in the invitation, "No Pressure, No Pitch, just some Information." When someone looks at it (about 40% open), I get to see precisely where their interest is and can tailor my follow-ups to them.

I have the product integrated with HubSpot and can create them directly from my "prospecting" platform. It even names the room and adds their logo. All I do is customize the introductory language

**What do you dislike about Aligned?**

There are a few bugs in the creation of each section, affecting cursor placement and text entry. They should also offer a section that includes two of their media types, such as a Video or a PDF, along with a free-text section.

**What problems is Aligned solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aligned gives me a simple way to get prospects' attention in a "low-stakes" Manner (No Pressure - No Pitch). It also lets me get specific, detailed information initially after a call and to add information to that as the questions change, new decision makers enter, and follow-ups are needed.

I like Aligned for its analytics and content management. The analytics are really helpful for tracking who is engaged with what content and even help us find new contacts we weren't aware of. The content management feature is great because it allows reps to quickly create relevant rooms with the exact, client-specific content they need.

The account management UI was not always easy. Pulling reports is impossible. Integrations are clunky and hard to set up. Report download is impossible in Room management. Content uploading was very manual and the integrations involved a lot of support.

I use Aligned for tracking client engagement with shared content, managing multi-threaded deals, and analytics. It helps us find new contacts and manage content efficiently, allowing reps to create client-specific rooms quickly.

I like Aligned's easy plug and play. The fact that I built a template and can just reuse that as the baseline is great. I like the ability to collaborate with internal and external team members. I also appreciate the insights that come from customer viewing. It was very easy and seamless to get started with Aligned.

I wish I could integrate AI better. There isn't an Aligned AI deal room builder available for each specific room which could provide more nuance and give feedback on how to enhance the room to close the deal effectively.

The UI is clean, and professional. Uploading sales materials is easy, and the prospects who have been set up in the rooms can easily manage and navigate the platform.

A few of the features seem a bit light. I can tell they are a work in progress, I have already seen updates in the analytics section.  I also wish I could drag and drop files instead of pull from folders.

Keeping all of my marketing and sales materials in one centralized place, while providing insights and analytics to the engagement of individual prospects.  I really like to see where individual personas are spending time and what they are interested in.  Those details really help be define my pitch and tailor follow up agendas.

I really like that Aligned allows me to create specific templates for different types of clients or prospects, and customize basically anything within it. The content library is pretty helpful too. It's super helpful for us because we serve different segments, and having specific templates for different types of clients is beneficial. The collateral library portion helps in having all up-to-date materials organized in the right place and easily shareable with both sales teams and prospective clients.

I would like to see further customization, but that would be a nice-to-have. They have a great tool already

East of use making onboarding very simple. Clean UI/UX. Integrated with emails for notifications. Not sure - I don't use these. Just the to-do lists for customers to track and complete their POCs

I believe the pricing was too expensive to have our full team to use it. Other than that, it's been a great tool.

I find Aligned helpful for selling into complicated markets and org charts. It allows customers to navigate one streamlined site to view all important documents and timelines, which is really convenient. I enjoy the templates that Aligned offers, and I appreciate being flagged when customers are engaged. This feature helps me by showing what's important to the customer when I may not yet know. Also, the initial setup of Aligned was super easy, making it quick to get started.

Creating the content cells is elementary and not customizable enough.

**What do you like best about Aligned?**

I’ve been using Aligned for over a year, and it’s quietly become one of the most loved tools in my sales process.

What I like most is how simple it is to give buyers one link with everything they need: proposal, deck, plan, case studies, and follow‑up materials. Instead of scattered emails and random links, the whole buying team can come back to the same shared space, comment, and stay on the same page. It makes me look more organized and makes it much easier for my champions to share internally.

The interface is clean, logical, and easy to pick up. I didn’t need any training, and my buyers haven’t needed explanations either — they just open the link and start using it. It helps me deliver professional‑looking proposals and collateral without a lot of extra work.

The freemium plan was a big deal for me. It let me use Aligned on real deals, build some momentum, and prove the value before I ever paid for it. By the time I upgraded, it already felt like a natural part of my workflow.

Overall, it’s been a genuinely great experience: simple, helpful, and focused on making real deals easier to run, not adding more noise.

I think the HubSpot integration is only available on their Enterprise plan. Makes it a little prohibative for a small team but I get why...

Content repository, much like Google Drive without the need to allow externals into your Drive. Simple and well done.

**What do you like best about Aligned?**

Aligned has a really nice interface that is easy to learn and use. I love the ability to mark things internal, we have been using these sections to document suggestions on how to set up each section in a template or to keep an internal list of customer risks. I have helped our professional services team set up a template to use during customer implementations and our customer success team set up a space to communicate trainings and new features to customers.

**What do you dislike about Aligned?**

I wish I could customize all tabs, there are some native tabs that I have to hide if we aren't using them. I also wish you could transfer ownership of a room.

**What problems is Aligned solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is a big step up from using Google Drive and creates a centralized place to house all resources that we send to a customer. This also now allows us to track our customers' engagement with what we send.

**What do you like best about Aligned?**

The platform is incredibly intuitive for both me and my reps to navigate. It has significantly improved the continuity of our proposal reviews by creating a centralized hub where prospects can easily access all collateral, documents, and pricing information. At the same time, it gives our team valuable visibility into who is engaging with specific content and how. The native integrations with tools we already use, such as Gong and PandaDoc, make it seamless to incorporate call recordings and proposals into the experience.

**What do you dislike about Aligned?**

I’ve occasionally noticed a few minor bugs, such as the file upload notification getting stuck in the bottom right corner or temporary issues clicking into action plan items. They’ve been infrequent and haven’t had a meaningful impact on the overall user experience.

It does away with multiple file versions and the need for multiple email attachments.  It provides visibility into who is interacting with what on the prospect side of things.

We’ve had a great experience using Aligned, and what’s especially impressive is that I’m on the free version and still getting a ton of value from it.

What I appreciate most is how it centralizes everything a customer needs into one clean, easy-to-navigate space. Rather than sending multiple follow-up emails, attachments, or scattered links, I can share a single workspace where all the relevant materials live—proposals, pricing, decks, documentation, next steps, and timelines.

A major benefit is how well it supports internal championing. In many cases, my main point of contact needs to pass information along to procurement, leadership, security, or finance. With Aligned, they can access everything in one place, which makes it much easier to circulate materials internally without having to come back to me for extra documents. That reduces friction and helps deals move forward more smoothly.

Even on the free plan, being able to create a structured, professional buying experience—and keep everything organized in one hub—is extremely valuable. It’s simple, intuitive, and useful right away.

Aligned doesn’t just help me manage deals; it also helps my customers feel organized and supported throughout their evaluation process. That’s a big win.

**What do you dislike about Aligned?**

If I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be the initial setup experience. There is a bit of a learning curve when first getting started — especially when trying to structure your workspace in a way that best supports your specific sales motion.

It would be great to see more pre-built templates that are tailored to different types of software companies (for example: security tools, SaaS platforms, enterprise sales, etc.) where you could drag and drop relevant sections instead of building everything from scratch.

Another feature that would add a lot of value would be a setup wizard that walks you through onboarding step-by-step. For example, it could ask a few questions about your product, sales cycle, typical stakeholders, and required documentation — and then use AI to help generate a recommended workspace structure. That would significantly reduce the initial ramp time and help new users get value even faster.

That said, once it’s set up, the platform is very powerful — but making the onboarding more guided and intuitive would elevate the experience even further.

**What problems is Aligned solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aligned is solving a very real problem in B2B sales — information sprawl and lack of visibility during the buying process.

Before using Aligned, I was constantly sending follow-up emails with attachments, links to decks, pricing PDFs, security docs, and next steps. Things would get buried in inboxes, forwarded around internally, and I’d often lose visibility into who had seen what. It also made it harder for my champion to confidently share materials with leadership or procurement.

Aligned solves that by giving me a single, organized workspace for each opportunity. Everything lives in one place — proposals, documentation, timelines, security materials, recordings, and next steps. My customer can easily access and share it internally without coming back to me asking for documents again.

The benefits for me are:

As someone who just recently discovered Aligned, I don't know how I operated without it. My organization uses the tool to provide a single repository for all documents, a clear path to close with the prospect, a way to share demos and recorded calls, and to make all parties accountable during the sales cycle (and beyond). I love that we can see who has entered the room and how frequently, share all sorts of snippets, links, videos, etc. and I love that we can set dates for all deliverables, including cast members.

**What do you dislike about Aligned?**

I don't like that I can't copy one module from one customer's room and paste it in another. I also don't like that I don't have my own personal library of items that I add, which I can add again at a later point, but aside from that, I do really like the tool.

Aligned eliminates the need for customers to click back through dozens of emails looking for video links, attachments, documents, and more. We use the analytics feature to test prospect engagement and see that "likelihood to close" is directly correlated with the engagement in the prospect's room.

While I’m very happy overall, there are a few areas that could be improved. The platform’s performance and responsiveness can occasionally be inconsistent, which sometimes leads to longer load times. It’s not a dealbreaker, but smoother and faster performance would definitely enhance the overall experience.

Additionally, the feature distribution between the paid plan and the enterprise plan feels somewhat unbalanced. Given the price point, it would make sense for more of the enterprise-level features to be included in the lower-tier plans. Expanding access to some of those capabilities would make the offering feel even more competitive and better aligned with customer expectations.

Aligned solves the problem of fragmented deal communication and scattered information. Before using it, important documents, updates, and next steps were spread across emails, shared drives, and multiple tools, which created confusion and slowed down the sales process.

By centralizing everything in one shared workspace, Aligned brings structure and transparency to every deal. All stakeholders have a single source of truth, clear visibility into progress, and easy access to the right information at the right time.

For me as a sales professional, this means less administrative follow-up, fewer misunderstandings, and shorter deal cycles. A few things I’ve noticed:

1. Every time I open Aligned, it asks me to log in again. It would be better if I could stay logged in until I manually log out.

2. The option for clients to download a specific file from a section is still not available. If this is enabled along with analytics of their activity, it would help clients access the details outside of Aligned as well.

3. If I restrict a link so it can only be opened after entering an email, the analytics sometimes don’t show who opened it; it just says “someone opened.” This seems like a glitch and may need to be checked.

We use Aligned daily for every use case that involves external stakeholders - from clients to partners, investors and more. The ability to send a fully detailed digital room with all relevant assets, that can be easily personalized and customized, is a superpower. 

The built-in tracking and analytics of user behavior in the room, with the flexibility of deciding the security of the room - in addition to the ease of scaling room templates and assets across different rooms, is really great. And I'm sure we haven't tapped into 70% of the potential of the tool!

I would like more flexibility in the design, coloring and styling - but that really is just a pet peeve. Very happy with it!

I really like the synced section in Aligned. With 50 clients and aligned rooms to manage, the ability to make sure that every room is standardized with the basic resources and up to our standards is invaluable. The introduction of the synced feature was a game-changer; I could create and share marketing resources across all my clients' rooms easily. Updating materials frequently is part of my routine, and being able to spread those updates across all 50 rooms at the click of a button makes sure everyone has the most recent resources. It's really good and helps keep everything organized.

**What do you dislike about Aligned?**

Some areas that could be improved is that not every section is synced, which is a limitation for sure. I think it's a really great resource for sales. And I don't even think the sales team really maximizes its capabilities. But from a CS perspective, I feel like there could be some advancements in terms of customer success. Can we keep track of our goals in here and goal progress? Can we keep track of engagement metrics from the app in here? I've been trying to work on an upselling tab with different features that they can add on to their contract. Can Aligned support that? Being more supportive in that CS realm would be great.

**What do you like best about Aligned?**

I really like Aligned for its ease of use and the fact that everyone can view it easily. It doesn't have to be in a certain format, which makes it simple for sharing and collaboration. I also appreciate the shareable link feature, as I add it to every email, especially at the bottom of every email follow-up. Setting it up was super easy, probably taking an hour, and then I could just create decks after that.

Aligned keeps everything in one place, making it easily shareable. It acts as a common platform for everyone to edit and work together, whether they use Microsoft or Google tools.

Very intuitive and easy to use. This is the second organisation I've used Aligned in and have recommended it to countless people in sales. Email, especially Gmail is such a pain when trying to reference multiple documents and keep track a of single points of truth, especially important when working on multiple deals over extended time periods

**What do you dislike about Aligned?**

Adding people from your team to share Aligned results in automatic subscription sign up, could be clearer

**What problems is Aligned solving and how is that benefiting you?**

multi threaded deals with many stakeholders are simple now. Additionally takes the guessing out. of the interest level of the prospective client through time spent analytics (amongst other features)

The interactive milestone timeline works nicely. Corporate targets actually engage with this, unlike the massive Excel grids we used to send over email.

**What do you dislike about Aligned?**

The mutual action plan visual blocks offer only a limited range of color options, which makes it harder to differentiate items at a glance.

**What problems is Aligned solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This provides full transparency into project dependencies and launch deadlines between our team and the buyer, making expectations clearer on both sides.

**What do you like best about Aligned?**

I find it very user-friendly, with helpful suggestions, and the best part is that it's free. There isn't a paywall restricting access, so we can actually use the product, try it out a few times, and then decide whether we want to commit further. Honestly, if I'm able to close some of the deals I'm currently testing on Aligned, I will definitely recommend it internally and push for my company to get us the paid version.

**What do you dislike about Aligned?**

So far, I haven't come across anything I dislike. I've only used it a few times, so I still need more time to fully test it out. Honestly, though, I think it will be difficult for me to find something I don't like.

**What problems is Aligned solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having all the relevant documents for a deal organized in one place has been very helpful. It makes it much easier for the buyer to share information with other stakeholders, and it even helps identify new stakeholders involved in the process. I also appreciate the ability to restrict access by company email addresses, which is especially valuable when handling confidential information. I'm optimistic that this will help shorten sales cycles at my company and support me in reaching my quota.
