I can help most of our users solve software issues, not hardware ones. I would want to see easier instructions for hardware problems. I am using this scheduling platform to manage capacity and staffing for a product support team. **What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?** I see a few opportunities and other key features that they must improve. The first would be, that reports should have the option to include the custom field that we added. Secondly, the repeat feature in shift planning could have several added options or condition (e.g. "excluding next month", "except X day of the week", etc.) **Recommendations to others considering TimeClock Plus by TCP:** If you're looking to organize shifts by position/profile, visibility to working hours rendered per day/week, monitor who's on and who's not, need to allot required seats to a shift and many other administrative tasks which revolves around time and attendance tracking, then TCP is the perfect solution for your business need. **What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?** The challenge I have with TCP is the total hours worked reports as it doesn't automatically deduct the hours from part-of-day leaves especially in a 4-hour shift tile created in shift planning. ### 19. Their technical support staff has also been very friendly and helpful in try to resolve our issues. **What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?** Ever since the update in software, the app and TCP terminal are not working properly and we have yet to have a resolution to the problem. This is incredibly frustrating considering we pay for services every month that we are not able to use fully. **What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?** The geofencing in our app is not working so employees are not able to clock in on their phones. Also, our terminal is crashing at the same time every day when our staff needs to clock out. Because they are not able to clock out, our supervisors have to go into the TCP manager screen and manually clock out every employee which is time-consuming and frustrating. ### 20. Overall it's an improvement over paper timesheets. I love that I can go in and approve payroll anytime, instead of waiting for the end of the pay period to have to collect timesheets. **What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?** They updated the app (and discontinued the old app) right in the middle of summer - which is our busiest time. I think I still have employees who haven't downloaded the new app (yes, I know that is the employee's fault). The timing of their maintenance updates is terrible for our operations. They do the updates at 9pm CST, which is 7pm our time. The first time they were doing maintenance, we didn't know and I had 16 employees who couldn't clock out. I have tried to explain the business impact of this timing to our "Retention Specialist", but I don't think he's really out there to retain us as a customer. I understand it's hard to pick a time frame for maintenance down time that doesn't impact someone, but 7pm is too early. As we are new to the electronic timekeeping world, I have many employees who forget to clock in or out. I wish there was an easier way to add their missed punches. At a certain point, when an employee has been clocked in for too long, they can't clock out. If there is a setting that will automatically clock them out, we don't know about it. The inability for them to clock out can create an avalanche of additional missed punches. **What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's an improvement over paper timesheets, and I can go in every day if I wanted to, in order to approve payroll, rather than waiting for the end of the pay period. It's also helpful that I'm not trying to read their terrible handwriting on paper timesheets when approving payroll. ### 21. As a K-12 education charter school we have a lot of unique situations that require us to manipulate the system to accommodate our needs. This provides that tremendously! I also love that you can automate so many things and also do mass modifications to all staff when necessary. I also love that we were able to utilize single sign on with this product so employees don't have to remember usernames and passwords! **What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?** Recently they outsourced their customer service line which used to be stellar and now I would consider it subpar service. I wish you could customize more of their reports (although, they have a lot to choose from) to meet specific needs without having to pay additionally for them. I also wish that the closing of weeks could be done by specific days. Often times we need to close the week to lock them and it's not the end of a pay period. So essentially we are required to leave weeks open for 2-3 pay periods. **Recommendations to others considering TimeClock Plus by TCP:** This software is definitely worth a look if you need flexibility and customization. **What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?** The import/export feature was huge for us- it can import new users, change information etc. all through an import. And exporting data is easy as a breeze! Additionally it housed all of our accruals that our current payroll database couldn't accommodate based on post date. We also love the feature that you can have 1 employee with multiple supervisors and those individual supervisors can approve just the relevant hours to them. ### 23. The best they can do is refer you to their online guides which desperately need updating since they do not match the actual steps in the current version of the system. They also need to provide support to new admins who are hired after the system is implemented.
