## TimeClock Plus by TCP Reviews
 ### 1. TimeClock Plus: Reliable, Easy-to-Use Workforce Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** barbara t. | Plant Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

We have been using TimeClock Plus for more than 10 years, and it has been an outstanding workforce management solution. When we first started using it, we had around 40 employees. Today, we operate two manufacturing plants with more than 700 employees, and TimeClock Plus has grown right alongside us.

The system makes it easy to manage attendance, occurrences, vacation accruals, PTO, and FMLA, helping us stay organized and compliant. One of our favorite features is the scheduling module. We can create schedules for entire groups and make mass schedule changes in just minutes, which has saved our HR team countless hours.

The software is reliable, easy to use, and has continued to meet our needs as our company has expanded. I highly recommend TimeClock Plus to any organization, whether you have a small team or hundreds of employees. It's a dependable solution that scales as your business grows.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

Nothing, I have no complaints. I enjoy working in TCP.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> It's amazing to hear TimeClock Plus has scaled with you from 40 to 700+ employees across two plants! Glad the scheduling module and mass schedule changes have saved your HR team so much time. Thanks for being a customer for over 10 years!

 ### 2. TimeClock plus: Easy to Use, Fast, and Backed by Responsive 24/7 Chat Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jill B. | Executive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I like TimeClock plus for the ease of use. I can have a new employee clock in and out with minimal instructions. The program is fast and minimal to no glitches. As a supervisor I appreciate the 24/7 chat option. I have been stuck on a Sunday morning and needed help and was actually surprised there was a live person ready to chat with me. I appreciate the emails informing me when the App will be down due to updates. The price is comparable to other companies. I have not tried to integrate it with other programs. I also have not used any AI integrated options yet.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I find it a little complicated setting up new employees, remembering how to set up managers to approve hours. We have a few managers and I can never remember how to get that set up to approve their staff hours. I also wish notes could be attached to a print out when I print the payroll hours.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I receive emails when Time Clock plus will be updated. I appreciate the prior notice and their initiative in striving to stay up on top of such of these things.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for sharing such a great review! Happy to hear how well it is going for you. Be sure to have customer support help you with your settings too! :)

 ### 3. Reliable, Easy-to-Use Time Tracking That Streamlined Our Payroll

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea K. | Business Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

We've been using TimeClock Plus for about three years to manage employee and substitute time tracking, overtime, leave, payroll exports, and the mobile app. Overall, it has been a reliable and efficient system that has streamlined our payroll process.

One of the biggest advantages is its ease of use. Employees have little trouble clocking in and submitting time, and as an administrator, it's easy to make corrections, review records, and track employee time. The reporting features are helpful, and the software integrates seamlessly with our C&C accounting software. Our payroll export process is straightforward—we simply run the appropriate report from TimeClock Plus and upload the file into Foxie for import into C&C.

The system has proven to be dependable and has significantly reduced the amount of manual payroll processing compared to traditional timesheets.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

My biggest concern is the cost. TimeClock Plus is more expensive than several comparable products on the market. I also wish there were more flexibility in creating customized individual employee reports to better meet our reporting needs.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before TimeClock Plus, tracking employee hours and preparing payroll took much more manual work. Now, employees and substitutes can easily record their time, supervisors can approve it, and I can quickly review everything before payroll. The payroll export works well with our C&C accounting software, so I simply run the report and import it into Foxie, which saves a lot of time and reduces the chance of data entry errors.

I also appreciate being able to track overtime and leave in one system and having the mobile app available for employees who aren't always at a computer. Overall, it's made our payroll process more efficient, improved the accuracy of our records, and given me confidence that employee time is being tracked consistently.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thanks for the detailed review! Glad to hear TimeClock Plus has made time tracking, approvals, and payroll exports so efficient for you. Will pass along your feedback on pricing and custom reporting to our product team!

 ### 4. Flexible, Powerful Timekeeping with Excellent Reporting and Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zachary G. | Resident Advisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

What I like most about Namely Time (TCP) is the level of flexibility it provides. The system is powerful and supports complex timekeeping, scheduling, and pay rule configurations, allowing organizations to automate processes that would otherwise require significant manual effort. Its reporting capabilities are especially valuable, making it easy to analyze workforce data, identify trends, and support informed decision making. While the system's depth can come with a learning curve, that complexity is also what makes it so adaptable to unique business needs. I have also been consistently impressed by TCP's support team. They are knowledgeable, responsive, and have been instrumental in helping me fully utilize the system's capabilities and implement solutions that improve efficiency.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

One area for improvement is the integration with our HRIS, Namely. Employee fields and demographic changes do not always sync or update automatically, which requires additional manual maintenance and increases the risk of discrepancies between systems. I would also like to see more automation around employee punches, such as automatic clock in and clock out functionality where appropriate. While TCP is highly configurable and powerful, reducing the amount of manual intervention required for integrations and time capture would make the overall experience even more efficient.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TimeClock Plus has helped us automate and standardize our time and attendance processes, reducing manual work and improving payroll accuracy. Its flexible configuration allows us to support complex pay rules, schedules, and compliance requirements while minimizing administrative effort. The reporting capabilities provide valuable insights into attendance, labor trends, and exceptions, enabling more informed decisions and quicker issue resolution. Overall, TCP has increased operational efficiency, reduced time spent on manual processes, and given us greater confidence in the accuracy and consistency of our workforce data.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you, Zachary, for the great feedback! Happy to hear how well TimeClock Plus has been for you and your team. I will be sure to pass on your area of improvements to our product team.

 ### 5. Simple, Reliable, and Great-Looking UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob C. | Clicnical Director / Paramedic., Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

It's simply and just works. The UI looks good.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I do not like how missed punches are handles. If I forget to clock in, I can simply just clock in and submit the correct time. You have to wait until the end of your shift to select missed punch. Otherwise , it forces you to clock out when you submit the missed punch. Would like to be able to just clock in and input the correct time.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we had to use a computer to clock in. Often times we did not have access to the computer before we got a call and had to leave. It allows for more accurate time tracking.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thanks for the review! Glad TimeClock Plus has made clocking in more flexible for your team. We'll pass along your missed punch feedback!

 ### 6. Intuitive Dashboards and Stellar Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2023

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I really like the intuitive dashboards with all the different widgets when you first log in as either an administrator or manager, providing quick access at a glance. It makes the interaction with the system quicker and gets people in and out of the system fast so they can review just pertinent information, like missing punches or pending time-off requests. If somebody was in the market for a timekeeping system, I would definitely give it a solid eight. It does everything that they're going to need, plus the service team is top notch.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

Well, the configuration between the Prism HR software and the TimeClock Plus by TCP system could be improved. I would like to see a filter for blocking certain types of employees from actually syncing over into TCP from the payroll system.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TimeClock Plus by TCP to solve my time tracking issues, manage time-off requests, and handle scheduling as an employer.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for your review! We're glad TimeClock Plus is helping you track hours, manage employee data, and monitor time-off balances.

 ### 7. Effortless Time Management with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sara M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I like how TimeClock Plus by TCP makes our clock in/out process easy and how it simplifies time calculation for payroll processing. The setup was very easy, which was a huge plus. I also appreciate TimeClock Plus customer support; they are always very responsive when I have an issue or question.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I wish it would format my employee monthly timesheets so I can just hit the print button and it will have the timesheet on one sheet of paper. Right now, if an employee's timesheet is only one page, I have to go in and add blank pages after theirs to keep everyone's timesheet on one individual sheet. Otherwise, when it prints and I tell it two-sided, it might print two employee records on the same sheet or split an individual's timesheet.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find TimeClock Plus by TCP makes clocking in and out easy and simplifies time calculations for payroll processing.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for the detailed and great review! Glad to hear TimeClock Plus is making your time tracking easier. I will be sure to pass on the timesheets info to our product team.

 ### 8. Accurate Time Tracking and Easier Payroll Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Commercial Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

What I like best about TimeClock Plus is how straightforward it is to review employee hours, make corrections, and prepare time data for payroll. It gives me a clear view of regular time, overtime, PTO, and missed punches, which helps me catch issues before payroll is processed. The system also makes it easier for managers and employees to maintain accurate time records across multiple locations.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

The reporting and correction process can sometimes feel more complicated than necessary. Certain screens require several steps to locate missed punches, adjust hours, or confirm approvals. A more streamlined payroll review dashboard and easier report customization would make the system more efficient.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TimeClock Plus helps us manage employee time across multiple locations and makes payroll preparation more accurate. It gives us one place to review regular hours, overtime, PTO, missed punches, and manager approvals before payroll is processed. This reduces manual tracking, helps catch errors earlier, and creates a clearer record of employee time.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience with TimeClock Plus! We're glad it's giving you a clear, reliable way to manage time and payroll accuracy across multiple locations. We'll pass along your feedback on the reporting and correction workflow to our product team.

 ### 9. Manager Privileges Make Time Adjustments Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Policy | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

With manager priviliges I can change staff's time. I feel like it's been helpful for our employees to accurately track their time, along with different categories of their job, which is helpful, as positions are charged out. I feel like it's been helpful for our employees to accurately track their time, along with different categories of their job, which is helpful, as positions are charged out. I feel like it's been helpful for our employees to accurately track their time, along with different categories of their job, which is helpful, as positions are charged out.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I don't think it integrates into Caselle very well so we are manually entering payroll hours.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's an easy way to track staff hours

 ### 10. Reliable Core Timekeeping, but Support and Analytics Need Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

TCP does a lot of things very well for a timekeeping system. So far, the data has been incredibly accurate and reliable. Once you set the rules for calculations, it runs them correctly, although getting those configurations set up can be a challenge. We were given two dedicated enterprise support people, and they have been very helpful and knowledgeable about TCP.

The interface is simple and effective, but it can sometimes be difficult to find things. The export feature is also nice for creating our own scripting, and we’ve had success uploading files to their SFTP server.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

My biggest complaint with TCP is the separation between the teams we work with directly and their backend/development teams. The process feels very siloed, and when we run into a problem, it often takes a long time to get a clear answer, solution, or fix.

TCP has also not been very transparent with timelines or issue resolution. We frequently find ourselves waiting months just to get an update on how long a fix may take, and then it can take several more months before the fix is actually released. Once a fix is available, much of the testing seems to fall completely on us, which is time-consuming. I wish TCP would be more proactive with bug testing, communication, and follow-through.

We were also promised that Analytics would allow us to build custom dashboards and do more with our data. Unfortunately, Analytics did not deliver on that promise. The data reporting was often inaccurate, the dashboard and report-building process was difficult, and the system would frequently break or not work as expected. We ultimately ended up canceling that feature.

Overall, TCP has useful functionality, but support, communication, bug resolution, and Analytics have been frustrating areas for us.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TCP is primarily used for timekeeping, tracking our employees’ hours, and exporting time data to our payroll system. The most important thing for us is that payroll is processed accurately and on time, and we have not missed a payroll since using TCP.

It has also been helpful for tracking meal premiums in California and Washington, which is important for compliance. While we have had frustrations with support, communication, and some features like Analytics, the core timekeeping and payroll export functionality has been reliable for our organization.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thanks for the detailed feedback! We're glad TimeClock Plus is delivering accurate, reliable payroll processing and helping with meal premium compliance. We hear you on the challenges with support communication, bug resolution, and Analytics, and we'll make sure this feedback reaches the right teams.

 ### 11. TimeClock Plus: Easy Time Tracking, Quick Start, and Straightforward Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** BCT V. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

TimeClock Plus is easy to use, and our employees can review their time, including both their accruals and the hours for the day they’re currently working. It’s quick to get started, with only two steps to begin the day. Reports are also straightforward to generate.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

There is no downside that I can think of, other than the usual pitfalls that occur with internet driven software. If the internet is out, you cannot use the software. The hours are easily updated by management once the internet access has been restored.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking to upgrade from an older system, and did so with TimeClock Plus. I am overall happy with the transition.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for sharing your experiences with TimeClock Plus! We're so glad it's been a valuable asset to your team.

 ### 12. Capable but often not user friendly

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2023

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

TCP remains fairly straightforward to add new employees and handle basic functions like editing functions and updating employee information on a basic level. If it is needed only for simple, straightforward punching, it is in that sense user friendly.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

It is very hard to integrate with payroll software. Time clock rules remain difficult to navigate, so something such as setting up overtime to trigger during a pay period when the employee has holiday pay has been something we have struggled with.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TCP allows us to track punches and overall employee attendance, which is far more streamlined then paper forms. We can also export the time clock hours into our payroll system, which saves us time from entering payroll manually.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Glad TCP has streamlined attendance tracking and saved your team time on manual entry! We hear you on the payroll integration and overtime rule challenges — please reach out to our support team and we'll help get those sorted.

 ### 13. Streamlined Payroll Process with User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meghann C. | Payroll & Benefits Specialist , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I like that TimeClock Plus by TCP is relatively user-friendly and that it can export a file that works with CSIU, which saves an incredible amount of time. Our system is smooth even for blue-collar, older employees who use it without difficulty. The initial setup was quite smooth, which made the transition from paper timesheets hassle-free. I appreciate the responsive support team when data doesn't collect correctly.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

Sometimes the updating of rates can be a little time consuming. We have also had times where data doesn't collect correctly, but the support team has been responsive in helping get it corrected.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TimeClock Plus by TCP to streamline time tracking for hourly employees, eliminating the need for paper timesheets. It saves a lot of time with easy data export to our payroll system, and our older staff finds it user-friendly.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for sharing! Glad TimeClock Plus has made the switch from paper timesheets smooth for your team, and that support has been responsive when issues come up. We'll pass along your feedback on rate updates to our product team.

 ### 14. Reliable Time Tracking with Great Support, Minor Sync Issue

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Glenn M. | Customer Service Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I really appreciate the excellent customer service provided by TimeClock Plus by TCP. I also value the accurate time recording feature, as it helps in preventing buddy punching. The time and attendance reporting is another feature that I use and find valuable. Additionally, the initial setup was easy, which was a plus for me.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I do not like when the clock goes offline due to an internet outage, it's supposed to sync punches that happen during the outage but it does not do this reliably.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TimeClock Plus by TCP provides accurate time recording and prevents buddy punching, improving our reporting.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for the review! Glad accurate time recording and buddy-punch prevention are strengthening your reporting, and that setup and support have been solid. We'll pass along your feedback on offline punch syncing to our team.

 ### 15. Simple, Reliable and Helpful, but Setup or Errors Can Be Daunting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I like that it's pretty simple and consistent. It's very reliable with little to no technical glitches. I like that it integrates well with my payroll system using a coded file.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

For the processes that I don't know about TCP, it tends to be a little confusing on how to set it up. I'm still a little confused on why there are both job codes and employee roles. I've been told that it can be gliltchy every once in a while on the tablets when trying to clock in/out.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it for all our childcare workers at all four campuses to clock in and clock out using an Ipad. It helps us keep track of childcare hours and transfer it into out payroll system. Without it, it would be hours of manually entering everyone's hours.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you so much for the feedback! We're glad it's keeping your childcare workers organized across all four campuses. On the job codes vs. employee roles question, we actually have webinar recordings that walk through exactly that! Please reach out to our support team and we'll point you in the right direction. Or, even better, have our support team walk you through it! 😊

 ### 16. Reliable Uptime, But Scheduling and Usability Still Need Work

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Veterinary | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

The website is rarely down and when it is for maintenance, it is always outside of normal business hours.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I don't feel like it is very user-friendly. I have been using TCP for 3.5 years now and still am not familiar with some functions. I wish it would do more to help with scheduling as that would save me hours each month. I have chatted with representatives several times and still don't find TCP as a useful tool for scheduling. I also have found my tardy reports to be inaccurate at times so I end up going through individual timecards myself.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do not know of any problems that TCP is currently solving for me. They have tried but it doesn't seem to fit my needs. Honestly, it feels overwhelming to shop around so I just make it work.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for sticking with us and for the honest review! We hear you on the scheduling and usability challenges — and we actually have dedicated scheduling solutions through TCP that may be exactly what you're looking for. We'd love to connect and make sure you're set up with the right tools. Please reach out!

 ### 17. Great for our Company

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2021

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

The program is easy to use and very easy to navigate. There are many different reports to choose from which help for payroll purposes. The employee details allow for a lot of information to be entered which make it pleasant to have everything in one place.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I wish there were more report options available. I also think there should be a way to use the seniority date to help with benefit time accruals. Right now, it only pulls from the hire date.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were working on getting the fingerprint scanner working with my login. Time Clock support was able to resolve this issue and get it working correctly by installing the right software on my computer. When the dashboard updates, the 'fingerprints' do not update. Our IT team has to update them manually.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Happy to hear TimeClock Plus is great for your company. Please reach out to our customer support for questions on the reporting options. Thank you for your review!

 ### 18. Easy Time Tracking, Great Reports, and Fast Support with ADP Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gianluca R. | HR, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

Can track the hours of the employees, make reports by hours, by job code, the useful dashboard it has. The integration with ADP. The Performace is so great because it is easy to make everything inside. Price vs Benefit, are great . The team supportyou guys have, they are so quick to answer questions. And also de AI is so usefull.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

That does not have to notify to the cellphones any note or notification I put or someone put in the system

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking hours, and make it easy to pay to subs

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thanks for the review! Glad TimeClock Plus is making hour tracking, reporting, and payroll easier, and that our support team has been quick to help. We'll pass along your feedback on mobile notifications to our product team!

 ### 19. Time Clock Plus: Easy to Use, Reliable Website, and Highly Customizable

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chelsea C. | HR Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I like that time clock plus is relatively easy to use. Overall I never really have issues with the website, and it is pretty customizable.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

The only complaint I have is that sometimes the app is finicky. Since the most recent update I have less employees with complaints about it, but I still receive complaints that the app won't work, kicks them out randomly, doesn't accurately log their clock in/out time.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Definitely helping with the old school paper timesheets. I'd much rather have TCP for everything that requires a timesheet

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Great to hear how helpful and easy TimeClock Plus is for you. We appreciate the review! I'll let our product team know about the app.

 ### 20. TimeClockPlus Meets Our Time & Attendance Needs as We Grow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

We really like to use TimeClockPlus at my organization because it supports our time & attendance needs. It's also not super convoluted by features, but at the same time the company is growing, as are we, and they seem to always offer the features we are looking to implement next.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

One of the downsides of using cloud software is that they have to continually keep it updated. I understand this is the nature of the beast, and at roughly one update a month, it's not too bad, but I wish it was slightly less frequent.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They seem to have their finger on the pulse of small-to mid-sized businesses and often offer a solution to my next round of problems, sometimes proactively.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for the review! Glad TimeClock Plus is keeping pace with your organization's growth and staying ahead of your needs. We hear you on update frequency and will pass that feedback along to our product team.

 ### 21. Easy to Use with Responsive Support, But Daily Downtime Needs Fixing

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darren W. | Line Cook, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

From a user perspective it is easy to use, but as an admin it is easy to change the configuration. The support team is also fast and responsive.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

The webpage goes down at least once a day. Leading to issues with users being able to clock out or in on time.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We do not use every feature of the software. We mainly use it for clocking in and out / lunch breaks. It is benefitting us by making it easy to track users.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Glad TimeClock Plus is easy to use for both employees and admins, and that support has been fast and responsive. We'll pass along your feedback on webpage reliability to our team right away.

 ### 22. TCP at work.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maranda K. | UA Fleet, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I like that I don’t have to worry about clocking in and out on a kiosk anymore. I also really like the missed punch function, as I forget to clock back in between shifts at times.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I do not like the wall function, as the messages are not organized. I also do not like how the messages system is set up. I wish unread messages were more distinct.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like how we don’t need everyone’s cell phone numbers anymore to communicate.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for the feedback Maranda! I'll be sure to pass on the messaging function to our product team.

 ### 23. TCP: A Redemption Story in Progress

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kara J. | TCP Manager, Campus Secretary, Administrative Assistant to Principal, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I like that Timekeeping and Substitute Management are housed within one system. One platform streamlines payroll process and reduces the need to navigate between different software.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

TCP still requires significant improvements, many of which were previously promised but have not yet been implemented.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am updating my initial review after meeting with Chad D. from the product development team, as it was a very positive experience. Chad took the time to truly listen to TCP Manager concerns and provide thoughtful, detailed insight into upcoming software improvements. His strong knowledge of the platform, along with the changes he described, was exciting & clearly reflects a commitment to continuous improvement and user feedback.
I really appreciated the collaborative nature of the conversation and left the meeting feeling encouraged and optimistic about what's ahead. I look forward to learning more about these enhancements and am happy to support or provide feedback as they move forward.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Glad to hear you were able to connect with Chad and things are going so much better!

 ### 24. TimeClock Plus Streamlines Time Tracking and Reduces Payroll Errors

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dexter H. | Director of Information Systems & Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

As an organization with many employees that need to track time, TimeClock Plus is benefitial in automating labor tracking to reduce our payroll errors and overhead costs.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

When introducing TimeClock Plus we encouter a steep administrative learning curve with new managers. The mobile app interface is not as refined as could be expected.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TimeClock Plus has been benefitical in helping streamline payroll by lowering administrative costs and empowering workers by providing access to schedule, leave requests, and other information.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thanks for the review! Glad TimeClock Plus is helping reduce payroll errors and overhead. For the manager learning curve, please reach out to our support team about training modules that can help onboard new managers more smoothly.

 ### 25. Excellent Time Tracking Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andres C. | Sr. Analyst HR Apps, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2022

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

The integration via API with Oracle HCM is fantastic, and is fantastic the integration with Oracle Time and Labor via APIs as well.
very easy to use. so intuitive.
I want to add as well that the support team investigate every single request or incident to solve it as soon as they can.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

the application doesn't have the integration via API to get the schedules, it must be via txt file, it would be awesome if they develop this part.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

managing the punches of the employees is almost in real time, it means that TCP send this punches frequently to Oracle Time and Labor and it helps to the supervisor check the timecard the employees quickly.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thanks for the great feedback—really glad to hear the Oracle integrations and ease of use are working well for you, and that our support team has been responsive. We also appreciate the note about schedule integration via API and will share that with our team.

 ### 26. Mobile Clock-Ins, Digital Time-Off Requests on a day to day basis made easier

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

The most helpful thing for our staff has been the ability to clock in from a phone, instead of being limited to a specific location like a timeclock unit. In addition, being able to request time off digitally from home by using the software, rather than having to submit paper requests, has made the process much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

There are many areas where I have to enter the same information multiple times, or in more than one place, which creates unnecessary duplication and leaves more room for errors.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They’ve worked out some of the software kinks it had at first, which has made it faster and improved the overall integration. Support has gotten better as well.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> So glad to hear you are finding TimeClock Plus beneficial. Thank you for sharing!

 ### 27. Easy Time & Attendance Tracking with Excellent TCP Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle C. | Parish Secretary, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

TimeClock Plus is an easy platform for tracking our employees' time and attendance. There was quite a learning curve in the beginning but we have knocked out many of the kinks and TCP Support has always been excellent.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

Sometimes it is difficult to reach a live person for support immediately.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to using TimeClock Plus we were using manual time clocks necessitating transferring information to a timekeeping program. This often led to errors. TimeClock Plus has reduced that.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for the review! Glad TimeClock Plus has cut down on manual time-tracking errors, and that support has been excellent as you worked through the early learning curve. We'll pass along your feedback on reaching a live person more quickly.

 ### 28. Customized and Exportable Reports for Our Payroll Needs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

We like that everything can be digital, calculated time cards, reports can be exported into spreadsheets, and customizable to meet our payroll needs.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

TCP is not compatible with our financial software to automate our payroll procedure and performance. We still do a lot of manual data entry, even though we are not using paper time sheets. We are not able to get some customizations added into a specific report that we need in the "period" report. It only gives us 2 options in the break out job codes when I need 6. I have to run multiple reports to collect all of the information I need, therefore it is not saving me any time or paper. I have messaged support a couple of times and have had no response.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We struggled with paper time sheets and manual data entry, but now we can check online requests and punches, which has resulted in time management and easier time calculations and accrual tracking.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for your honest feedback! Please don't give up on our customer support team as we actually have a great response and resolution team. I will be sharing this feedback with them as well.

 ### 29. Management-Focused with Room for Seamless Tech

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I appreciate that TimeClock Plus by TCP is management-focused, aiming to solve managerial problems and create a seamless experience for employees, making the experience on both ends more integrated. I also find the balance of on-premises, mobile, and cloud-based services terrific, and I can see how TCP has thoughtfully developed these. Additionally, I appreciate its strong integration capabilities, such as exporting data on demand to Quickbooks for payroll, which helps us keep up with employee data.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

The dedicated hardware implementation has been a bit inelegant and 'clunky' for us in the past. We've spent hours on the phone and in remote desktop sessions with technical support trying to get things like bioscan devices and TCP's own workstation hub software to play nicely with Windows in our network environment—things we have little control over and which can be big time-wasters. I would like to see more thoughtful development of Windows apps that would automatically update and be optimized without so much dependence on hours of technical support on a perennial basis.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TimeClock Plus by TCP lets us set and enforce time policies across multiple sites from the home office, solving managerial consistency issues. It integrates management tasks seamlessly, making employee experiences smoother.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thanks for the review! Glad TimeClock Plus is helping you keep time policies consistent across sites and connect smoothly with QuickBooks. We'll pass along your hardware setup feedback!

 ### 30. Effortless Time Management with Stellar Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben S. | Senior Systems Engineer / Infrastructure Architect, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I really appreciate the biggest benefit of TimeClock Plus by TCP, which is the web-based management that allows us to manage centrally all of our hardware clocks and integrate directly into our existing badging system. I love that we can automatically deploy firmware to every clock across the school district, reboot all of the clocks, and make configuration changes centrally all at the same time. The initial integration was very easy and flowed very smoothly, and the vendor did a perfect job with training and integrating the system into our existing environment. The ease of use, management, integration into our existing badging system, the clock interface, and the hardware maintenance are all excellent, which is why I give a 10 out of 10 recommendation.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

The only thing I would say that could be improved would be the integration into Skyward Q.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TimeClock Plus by TCP automates employee clock in/out and integrates with our business system, improving payroll calculation. Its web-based management lets us centrally manage hardware clocks and deploy updates across the school district efficiently.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for the great review! So glad everything came together perfectly for your school district! We hear you on the Skyward integration and we'll make sure that feedback gets to the right team. Thanks Ben!

 ### 31. TimeClock Plus Offers all the options we need.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2023

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

TimeClock Plus has been easy to use and includes many of the calculation tools I was looking for. We annualize employment contracts for our 180-day employees, and the contract reporting is essential for keeping everything easy to track. We’ve also implemented the geofencing options for certain employment groups so they can clock in and out as needed at offsite locations, which has made job tracking and hours much easier. Additionally, we launched the sub-calling automation, and it has streamlined both our leave request process and our sub-calling needs.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

At times, there are so many options in the settings that I forget just how powerful the software can be. I wish TCP offered more tips and reminders to me so I could be reminded of the options they have. Monthly webinars (with an option to view the recording afterwards) are so beneficial.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Annualizing payments for our 180 day employees was a huge chore previosly taking up many hours of calculating and many errors to correct over time. TCP has simplified this tracking for our district.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for this great review! And we have great news — monthly webinars with recordings are already a thing! We'd love to make sure you're connected. Reach out and we'll get you set up!

 ### 32. Ensuring accurate timekeeping and payroll information!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher L. | Project Manager/Safety & Risk Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I appreciate the ability to configure and define each job code in detail, which helps ensure our employees receive the appropriate compensation.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

Reports within TCP don’t offer enough detail or customization to create a specific report for printable schedules that includes all correlating shift tags assigned to shifts in Humanity Scheduler.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TimeClock Plus by TCP has helped significantly by ensuring a more accurate payroll export and by maintaining real accountability in our timekeeping.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for sharing! Nice to hear how TimeClock Plus is ensuring payroll accuracy for you. Will share your feedback on reporting details with our product team.

 ### 33. Makes Payroll a Breeze with Minor Hiccups

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I like using TimeClock Plus by TCP because it helps me get paid easily since my employers can see my hours conveniently. It also keeps track of my hours efficiently, providing a clear record of how much time I dedicate to work. I particularly like the feature where it rounds up the time; for instance, if I clock in at 7:33, it records 7:30 for me, which makes earning calculations easier. The rounding up means more money and simplifies the math. Also, when I initially set it up, the customer service was really helpful and got me through the process quickly.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I wish it sent a reminder if I forget to clock in / out. I mean, I wish there was a setting where you could set your usual clocking in /out times and if you don't clock in / out at that time, then you get an email reminder to do so. The set up could be more straightforward. I remember having to use the 'chat with customer service' feature to help with my set up. I don't remember the issue exactly. But, the employee was really helpful and I finished setting up within 5 minutes.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TimeClock Plus by TCP to clock in and out of work. If helps me get paid easily as my employers can see my hours. It also tracks my hours so I can have a record of my work.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thanks for the review! Glad TimeClock Plus is making it easy to track your hours and get paid accurately, and that our support team helped you get set up quickly. We'll pass along clock in/out reminders to our support team!

 ### 34. Easy Hour Review and Updates

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Judith L. | Customer Relations Rep, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

What I find most helpful by TCP is the ablitlity to review your hours and be able to make updates.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I dislike the fact that sometimes the app gets stuck and I have to go back and refresh or log out and log back in.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to be able to view who is working the shift that you are considering. Always being able to update or drop your shift at your discression.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thanks for the review! Glad TimeClock Plus makes it easy to review your hours and manage your shifts. We'll pass along your feedback on the app getting stuck to our support team!

 ### 35. Amazing Implementation Team and Quick, On-Point Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kathy B. | Coordinator, Business Services/Human Resources Technology, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

TCP has been amazing to work with. The implementation team has gone above and beyond to help with our implementation. They have been very patient with our lack of knowledge and always willing to give advice. The incredibly large amount of features this program can be overwhelming. Support has been quick to respond and always on point. We have about 600 employees on TCP at this time and are getting ready to bring on another 200 but we are comfortable when we roll it out due to the tremendous support from the implementation team.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

The only negative I would say about TCP is the support ticket system. I find it difficult when I have multiple cases open to keep them straight through email. The ticket numbers are not on the email and there is not a support portal where I can review them. They like to have reviews after they close the case but there is no information included with the email requesting the review.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are working really hard at trying to get our API to work between TCP and eFinance Plus. There have been several trials along the way but they area always willing to face the challenges.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> That's so great to hear! Thanks for the wonderful feedback.

 ### 36. Streamlined Time Management with Minor Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heidi L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I like the ease of use of TimeClock Plus by TCP once it has been learned, and I also appreciate the ability to make adjustments relatively quickly. It provides a unified platform for all employees to clock in and out and allows for time off requests to be approved in a timely manner by the correct managers.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

It's a very robust platform and could be scaled down for clients that don't need all the bells and whistles of it. I'd say the initial setup was intermediate; it helps when the implementation agent is well-versed in the product. Follow-up was a little more difficult.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TimeClock Plus by TCP for managing time cards and tracking PTO. It solves having a unified platform for employees to clock in and out and enables managers to approve time off requests timely.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Glad to hear it's working well for you! If it helps, we do have a Knowledge Base to help the learning curve, in addition to our CSMs. https://community.tcpsoftware.com/s

 ### 37. Great Integrations, but Reporting and Finding Time Info Takes Too Many Steps

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

That it offers integrations into other HR and timesheet platforms we utilize

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

Compared to other timekeeping app I have used, I find the system requires too many steps to perform basic tasks, such as pulling reports, accessing employee time, or navigating to general information.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TimeClock Plus solves several critical workforce management challenges for us. First, it helps catch timekeeping mistakes before payroll is processed. Second, it holds the team accountable and keeps tracking honest. Finally, it serves as an excellent, real-time resource for me to see exactly which employees are on the clock at any given moment.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for your review! We're glad TimeClock Plus is helping with accurate timekeeping, payroll preparation, and workforce visibility. We appreciate your feedback on ease of use and navigation and will share with our product team.

 ### 38. Easy-to-Navigate Web GUI Packed with Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

The web GUI is pretty easy to navigate, and it offers a ton of features.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

Setup is a custom process and can be complicated depending on what you are using it for. If it is just to track employee time and information it is supper easy. It is exporting the raw data to another program that can get tricky.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It keeps track of PTO and serves as a tool that anyone with the proper access can use to track OT. It also provides a calendar view of who is off and who is requesting time off across the company.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thanks for the review! Glad TimeClock Plus is easy to navigate and helping you track PTO and time off. We'll pass along your setup and export feedback!

 ### 39. Effortless Tracking and Payroll Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peggy V. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I use TimeClock Plus by TCP for tracking hours for payroll and project hours. It's quick, which is a real time saver, and allows edits while tracking those edits. I like that it is quick, accurate, and easy to use. The interface is very simple and clean, so I can see at a glance what's happening with hours, which is a big plus for me. The reports function is also a huge asset. It's satisfying that it does what I need it to do and quickly.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

The one thing is that salaried employees show up in the Individual Hours even if Exclude salaried is checked, but that might be a set up issue.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TimeClock Plus by TCP for tracking hours for payroll and projects. It's a time saver, allowing quick edits and tracking them. It has a clean interface, making it easy to see hours at a glance, and the reports function is a huge asset.

I appreciate the manager dashboard, which provides visibility into employee punches, approvals, and exceptions. The reporting capabilities and integration options help streamline payroll processing and reduce manual effort.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

Audit tracking and notification features for post-approval changes would help improve payroll accuracy and reduce the need for manual reviews.

Coding a project that is active in TCP to timecards. Once resolved, employees will able to enter their time and apply to the correct project.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thanks for the detailed feedback! Glad the dashboard and reporting are streamlining your payroll process. We've noted your thoughts on audit tracking and post-approval notifications for our product team.

 ### 42. Clunky and Unintuitive Timekeeping With Hard-to-Read Reports

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

Not much, the remote clock in/clock out is simple enough

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

it is clunky to use, not user friendly or intuitive. the reports are not what you would expect and are not easy to read. the admin menu is not intuitive. it's just overall not an easy time keeping system to use.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it created more problems than solved problems. the initial setup team seemed inept at what we needed so the project never really got going. we started with a pilot of only 30 employees, and we are only using TCP for timekeeping at the moment.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear the setup process and reporting haven't met your expectations. We'd encourage you to reach out to your account manager so we can work toward a better experience for your team.

 ### 43. Versatile and User-Friendly with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlotte H. | Area Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

Nothing

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TimeClock Plus by TCP for employees to clock in and out, track hours, and request time off. It lets managers review and edit or approve hours. I find the reporting great and it's versatile for tracking different jobs' hours and schedules easily.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for the awesome review! So glad to hear TimeClock Plus is working well for you - that's what we aim for! Thanks Charlotte!

 ### 44. Flexible Timesheet Management with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan A. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I appreciate TimeClock Plus by TCP for its ability to manage a large roster of employees, especially since many hold multiple positions and need their labor hours organized by job code and specific events. I like how it automatically applies shift minimum hours and allows a wide range of settings to be adjusted for each employee's profile, accommodating different business needs and applicable labor laws across multiple states. The flexibility to apply nuanced settings, like geofencing rules tailored to individual employees based on their roles or work locations, is a standout feature for me. This has led to fewer errors with employees clocking into incorrect positions or events, reducing the need for manual adjustments during payroll processing.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I think the most useful thing would be if I could re-send employee activation emails on my end. As it is, I have had to reach out to TCP support each time this was needed. Support has been helpful but this feels like an unnecessary step in the process. It's also unclear to me if I update an employee's email address if TCP would send them a new activation email automatically. So maybe if there was a way to log any communications from TCP to the employee.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TCP helps manage a large roster of employees, letting us organize labor hours by job code and event. The nuanced employee settings, including geofencing, reduce clocking errors, minimizing payroll adjustments. Its vast range of settings adapts to various business needs and labor laws.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thanks so much for taking the time to share this - glad it's been working well for you. Please check with support, though, on the email activations to get that cleared up for you.

 ### 48. Accurate Time Tracking and Custom Reports, with a Few Annoying Quirks

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

It is accurate in logging time in and out for our purposes, and adding time for individual employees as well as to a group. I also like that I can create different reports of my own and save them to run again.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

There have been some changes made that resulted in quirks or annoying aspects. Nothing that stops the app from being usable, but adds time to the general process. Requests or suggestions made regarding programming usually get the same response from TCP - they'll look at it. However, I've yet to see one integrated that I can recall.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used the pc based app previously, and now use the web based app. Both were good, but I feel the web based has more features and flexibility.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thanks for the detailed feedback—we’re glad to hear you’re finding TimeClock Plus accurate and flexible for reporting. We also appreciate your comments on recent changes and feature requests, and we’ll be sure to share them with our team.

Because of it being highly customizable, sometimes it takes a while to figure out why something is functioning as it is. You have to look in multiple places before finding the solution.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing employees to clock in to different departments or divisions than others

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for sharing! If you need assistance on the some of the functions, please reach out to our customer support team at any time.

 ### 50. Always-Helpful Customer Service You Can Count On

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I love the customer service. Whenever I run into an issue or need help with the system, they are always there and very helpful.

**What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?**

I do not like the time rounding. I'll see a shift in a timesheet that states they worked 4:01 hours total but when they get paid, they are paid eith 4 hours or 4:02 hours. It's usually off a minute. It messages with our reports.

**What problems is TimeClock Plus by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are paying employees whatever timestamped shift they worked. There is no grace period as some companies may have.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thanks for the review! Glad our customer service team has been helpful whenever you need support. We'll pass along your feedback on time rounding accuracy to our product team.
