The TaxValet team has me feeling confident it was the right choice to move the sales tax collection over to them. We collect in over 40 states. While our initial conversations with TaxValet were promising, unfortunately, our experience quickly took a turn for the worse. We appreciated the clarity in the early stages, particularly when they outlined the services and provided what seemed to be a straightforward promotion. However, the lack of transparency, misleading communication, and failure to honor their own offer overshadowed anything positive. Their inability to follow through on a $3,500 discount, which we were led to believe we were eligible for, left us with a sense of distrust. What I dislike most about TaxValet is their lack of transparency and poor communication. We were led to believe that we were eligible for a $3,500 discount on onboarding if we signed up before a certain date, but after we confirmed our decision to proceed, they suddenly rescinded the offer, claiming the promotion had already been filled weeks earlier. This critical detail was never mentioned during any of our discussions, leaving us feeling misled. The situation was further worsened by their inability to resolve the issue, offering only a reduced discount that didn’t address the core problem. To make matters worse, even after escalating the issue by CCing their CEO, we received no response or accountability from their leadership.
