What do you like best about TaxJar?

Generating all my reports making it easy to file taxes. Links to my website for easy integration and applying compliance when needed. Very friendly customer service and responsive. Tax Jar is amazing and does not give me the idea I need to look elsewhere for their service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TaxJar?

What do you like best about TaxJar?

We love that TaxJar can connect to our Shopify account and alert us when we reach economic nexus thresholds for each state. They can also autofile your tax returns for each state so you can focus on the day-to-day business, not the sales tax administration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TaxJar?

We don't like that TaxJar cannot support local jurisdiction states such as Colorado. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TaxJar?

What do you like best about TaxJar?

The interface is very easy to use and understand and the Sales Tax reports give you everything you need to know to file reports with the state. It has all of the info in one location. It clearly breaks down which states are marketplace states and which ones aren't so you can keep that straight. You also have the option of automating the task of filing with the state and letting TaxJar do it for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TaxJar?

The service itself is a little pricing for some folks so you have to assess if it's worth it for you and your business. It's well worth the time savings for me. It is also a little misleading that the filing automation is included in the monthly cost, when in reality it is a per filing charge under most plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TaxJar?

I like the ability to have our sales tax calculation made much easier and that TaxJar will take care of our tax filings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I felt the setup process did not go smoothly and could have gone much quicker. Also, there were things I did not feel were explained and lead to misunderstandings on our end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TaxJar?

Sales tax can be very confusing to figure out, especially when there are so many states involved. TaxJar helps make it an easier process month by month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TaxJar?

Mainly that it does all the work of jurisdictional breakdowns and sorting out the filing data so that it is easier to remit yourself rather than spending hours in a spreadsheet. Their support seems helpful as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TaxJar?

When you need to upload data into their system, because not all programs have integrations, it can be a tiny bit challenging to understand any error codes and format the sheets as they need.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
