It does not work. The Magento API is flawed. Support takes days to answer and when I contacted my salesperson about an issue there answer was for me to spend and extra 7k per year. Sales tax compliance is tough as is. But with tax jar I’d you are not paying attention you are putting yourself at risk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. The easy ability to get sales tax reports for different states, as well as watch our economic nexus to see when we're approaching the threshold to began the registration process. There have been some issues on the backend with integration, however the support staff at TaxJar has been nothing helpful when it comes to resolving the issues and correcting them when they happen. Manually filing state taxes used to be a burden and would take hours that were better used elsewhere, having the auto file capability has cut down on that process. TaxJar syncs your online marketplaces like Amazon to track all your orders and figures out the sales taxes for you. It makes it so simple. Without TaxJar I would be completely and utterly lost.
