"Best Open Source Platform Available Now for Restaurants / Food Related Stores"
4/5
What do you like best about TastyIgniter?

Open Source, no costs (software and majority of extensions are free). After installation, if you don't have configuration problems, it works out of the box and it's very simple to learn to set it up and enter your inventory. Meaning that if it's installed/configured correctly, and you don't need much branding and customizations, you can be selling in 24 hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TastyIgniter?

Even though they have a forum, the team sometimes gives support "believing" (or at least comes across that way), that everyone using the platform are coders and/or web developers. That way, their help, even though well intended, is usually worthless. Their answer is sometimes even more confusing than the question.

There's also a lack of documentation and/or clear instructions on how to implement some extensions or how to use them. For the same reasons, customization is a nightmare if you don't know the code. The team members sometimes don't respond to questions that require a simple yes, no, or maybe; and if you ask again you are told that you are a demanding person and come across as "rude" because you don't understand they are just volunteers.
