## TaskRay Reviews
  ### 1. Well integrated Project Management tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2023

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

We had to move from Taskray to a competitor due to reliance on Salesforce, however this highlighted a few pro's for Taskray. Namely, the reporting functionality and Salesforce workflows allowed for greater customisation than the successor, although that came with the tradeoff of more setup time needed.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

The UI isn't as nice/intuitive as other market leaders

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing our customer implementations, getting a full view of ongoing projects and being able to unlock a deeper level of analytics and reporting to link to business needs

  ### 2. Working with the people from taskray has been a really excellent collaborative experience.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Environmental Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2022

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

I like the resources TaskRay has for learning the software and discovering applications of the tool.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

Some functions are not that intuitive. I have gotten a lot of feedback from people on my team describing something that to me was obvious but for them, they would have never guessed.

**Recommendations to others considering TaskRay:**

Having high-level support and engagement is key. As a lower-ranking employee, trying to get our organization to change how they work and adopt this tool has been challenging due to a lack of executive action to make TaskRay the go to.l

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am not aware of any solutions that are specifically benefiting me or my org. Although the collaboration updates from march are going to be very useful eventually.

  ### 3. TaskRay allows me to work smarter, not harder.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kari D. | Proposal Development & Contracts Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2023

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

The customization capabilities are amazing to tailor the system to fit your business and how the users will work within the system. The best feature though is the integration with SalesForce and our existing ERP system to avoid duplicate data entry and mismatched details. My favorite aspect is the ease of reporting. You do not need to be and IT programmer to create and edit custom reports that are most useful for yourself and your teams!

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

So far the only downside I am experiencing is that the functionality between looking as TaskRay Projects and the project in the TaskRay module offer different things and some are easier or more useful in one view or the other which can be frustrating to go back and forth. Hopefully this is a setup item that can be rectified.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TaskRay has given us the opportunity to better manage project timelines along with the history/status of tasks and linking to all required documents. It is project information in one place to be shared with everyone on the team that needs easy access! This is saving a lot of time circling around to get answers to questions and finding documents and status of tasks.

  ### 4. Taskray is a great way to organize your Structure.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noah C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2024

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

Taskray is easy to use and has alost endless possibilities!

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

Sometimes it takes many button clicks and pages to get to where you want. Not always an easy option for seemingly simple tasks.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What tasks to do and the order of operations they should be3 done in.

  ### 5. Customer Support is Top Notch

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2024

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

The Customer Support team is top notch. They are speedy with great explanations. Will to go above and beyond to help you solve a unique case.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

can't see into the Apex actions so I don't really understand what is happening when we are using one of them.
The licensing is can be a bit tricky.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speedier Client Onboarding and visibilty into client deliverables.

  ### 6. Up there with the top-tier project/process management tools.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren H. | Business Intelligence Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2023

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

Customer Success and Support teams are there to guide you through any challenges that arise. In terms of usability it has some robust features and functionality.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

While the tool is embedded into Salesforce there are limitations in what this allows you to customize for the user-experience. Lastly for smaller organizations the wealth in functionality and features may be cumbersome to administer and scale.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TaskRay is solving for both simple and complex processes where companies can easily collaborate with their clients to ensure success. How TaskRay is helping us falls on 3 key areas in managing: to manage client onboarding(proactive), short-term(reactive request management) and long-term reoccurring(proactive process optimization) projects.

  ### 7. Has met our needs from the start and has been constantly adding value

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2023

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

TaskRay is perfect for small business like ours! Appreciate the webinars and recordings.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

Snack releases: The concept is great but as a customer seing the release related emails so frequently seems to be distracting.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We like the plan and spreadsheet view as it helps us in our project and sprint planning.

  ### 8. It's a good tool for project management and can be customized to fulfil different requirements.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amira M. | PMO manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2022

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

About the tool: flexibility, customisable, allows to have a single source of truth for all project information and by gathering this info we manage to create essential reports.

The team is very helpful and friendly.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

- TaskRay/Flux can do very easy changes from the backend and save us a lot of customisations - OOB customization packages.
- The integration between TaskRay and Flux needs to be enhanced.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- One source of truth with all project info
- Enabled us to report on: project health, actual and forecasted utilization, capacity planning, resource management, forecasting

  ### 9. Straight forward Project Management tool, very intuitive

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** omar s. | Advisor, Project/Program Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2022

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

Easy navigation, necessary fields for reporting are already there out of the box. It's customizable within the salesforce environment so you can perform flows and automations between opportunities and projects for example.
Great Customer support, always a fast response.
Product team is always listening and releasing updates.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

Some minor missing features and enhancements are required, especially when integrating with flux & Resources.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a centralized place for all projects, and managing resource utilization and capacity

  ### 10. Good Salesforce app - if you have project management experience.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2022

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

TaskRay takes project management and places it inside Salesforce, creating a platform that is (somewhat) customizable and able to utilize the best of the Salesforce relational database while adding another transparent layer to a single source of truth. Internal time tracking is very convenient. Drag-and-drop functionality feels very tactile. Creativity with objects and custom fields can add a lot of additional functionality to TaskRay out-of-the-box.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

The learning curve on TaskRay is still a relatively steep one, especially if your users are unfamiliar with project management. Understanding when to use tasks, task groups, sub-projects, and projects takes some experimentation, dedicated time, and Salesforce platform confidence. If your org is not in Sales, someone knowledgeable will need to create internal support documentation.

Assigning deadlines to checklist items is not intuitive. Also wish I could customize project and task tabs by record type.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's difficult to understand a team's capacity for collaboration when projects are managed in siloed Google Docs. TaskRay is beginning to illuminate for us what others do in the organization and how all our work intersects in supporting the org's mission.

  ### 11. TaskRay is an easy to use Project Management Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly L. | Project Manager / Salesforce Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2022

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

The TaskRay interface is easy to use and allows you several different view styles to choose from based on your preferences to manage your Projects and Tasks. The integration with Salesforce offers flexibility allowing you to customize what you want to see in TaskRay. Using SF Automation tools, we were able to easily create and replicate project templates for all aspects of our business related to Onboarding, Support Development Work, and Professional Services offered. Additionally, the support team is very responsive and great to work with.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

They could have some better licensing options for smaller companies with different types of access.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It enables us to build automated processes to create projects for our team to manage all aspects of our business.

  ### 12. Good for time tracking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vera A. | Salesforce Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2022

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

It indicates the tasks that are overdue by end date, the time tracking (timesheet) shows the time by week and by project

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

Sometimes it's a bit slow and I have to exit a task and enter again for the checklist point to be saved
It doesn't let me hide checklist items by default
I wish we could add more detail in each checklist item

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps the company track our billable time and not billable and allows us to perceive how we can be more productive

  ### 13. We use TaskRay in PMO tasks in Outseer company

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Menna E. | PMO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2022

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

Project Plans, template hub, customizations

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

dependencies takes time to reflect on all tasks

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

expand all, collapse all, insights

  ### 14. Excellent Support/Onboarding Project Management Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2022

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

The flexibility of core tools, combined with the level of granularity that can be achieved for reporting.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

Inability to set and view tasks by hour, utilising a calendar to schedule meetings and notify the user of calender/task conflicts based on hours set. Inability to move tasks, via the planner, to specific days whilst reassigning to new users.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cases and List Views aren't sufficient for agents to schedule and prioritise work. Complex work, rarely performed, or when agents deal with a large volume of work that requires multiple actions are much easier to handle with TaskRay.

  ### 15. Great PM Tool!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2022

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

I love that we can eliminate the use of excel and sheets with TaskRay while being to stay within the Salesforce application.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

We do not have the ability to track time to cases/non-project specific work.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Elimination of meetings - we can send out reports that show leaders and clients what work is being done and the timelines of projects.

  ### 16. It is a powerful tool but definitely needs to be more user friendly.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna K. | Client Success Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2022

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

Reporting capabilities within salesforce

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

The plan view and time tracking for each task.
Customer support (account manager) hard to get in touch with our account manager

**Recommendations to others considering TaskRay:**

Need to fully understand salesforce to use taskray

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

keeping the whole team aligned for each project. It helps us be more organized

  ### 17. Very good from onboarding to launching.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2022

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

good support, easy to use and understand. Enables good overview for all teams.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

Sometimes rearranging order of task groups within project is hard to do.

**Recommendations to others considering TaskRay:**

test it out

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

enabling our customer success team to know what they have to do and when.

  ### 18. Customer First Company

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2021

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

The support we receive when we open a case is always incredibly quick and efficient. If they do not have the answer to the question right away they will immediately offer to jump on a call. The system integrates well with Salesforce which is nice for reporting.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

It can be a little clunky at times- I wish there were more customizable features, especially with views and displays.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our Project Management team uses it to track the status and updates on a project- it is also nice because taskray allows for external link sharing so our clients can see certain aspects and the status of their project.

  ### 19. not what I was looking for

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vivian R. | Transaction Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2021

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

I like that you can create lists that keep you organized and can help when you are working on a project within a group.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

I think there are better task management systems available and I wouldn't reccomend this to other people in the workforce.

**Recommendations to others considering TaskRay:**

I would reccomend looking into a few options before choosing a task manager. This platform has useful tools but I believe based on past experiences that there are better tasks management sites for companies.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You are able to create lists for tasks for a project, meeting, etc and it can keep you and you colleagues on the task at hand.

  ### 20. Effective Digital Tool for Repetitive Projects

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2021

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

TaskRay integrates with Salesforce easily and provides virtually unlimited customization options, which give it diverse applications. Once a template is built, it's pretty simple to replicate the project for similar endeavors.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

For one-off projects TaskRay is more trouble than it's worth in some instances since there is a fair amount of setup and manual work to make it effective.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the problems of project management, resource allocation, and task attribution. Our goal is to ensure that the right people know what they should be doing in which order and to provide status updates in real time.

  ### 21. Gets the job done

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2021

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

Helps to visualize the different stages of a project.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

Haven't found an easy way to close projects and to back to previously closed projects to log more time on those if needed essary.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Implementing app builds for clients. Helps us make sure we don't miss any steps.

  ### 22. Best Project Management Solution in Salesforce

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manuel A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2020

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

TaskRay has allowed our team of seven to execute on project management, with a visual approach to task creation, delegation and tracking. The new "My work" tab introduced last year has been very good, especially in the row view, grouped by project. This allows managers and staff to quickly look at prioritized tasks and quickly reschedule and move things along. It kinds of replaces the Gant view, which is often too complex for our needs, but it is great to have it, once managers develop an appreciation for the "critical path" concept. We have modified what the cards display to show the things that we need (custom fields), and that flexibility is great. Of course Kanban view is great, but again the switching Kanban-Row-Calendar is very powerful to adapt to diverse visual styles people have, and their own workflow style. Tasks groups are great.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

People have a hard time with the filters, and it is not always easy to configure filters and get the results that you want. Often people just do not find an easy screen to see the tasks delegated to them, because they are only on a checklist, so that makes it difficult to filter.

In general the friction happens at that level for us: we heavily use checklists to "delegate", and normally the Executive Director will create a task and assign it as an owner to the Program Director, which in turn will create or not checklists for staff. To get the right visibility for all users, using filters is quite difficult. Always some filter is in the way and a task is hidden from the user, and only "select all" is the solution, but then that is overwhelming. I imagine a "sub-task" concept rather than a checklist could be useful.

The Mobile app is really not very good.

**Recommendations to others considering TaskRay:**

Invest in the initial setup. Invest in user training. Stick to it. Discontinue Salesforce Tasks all together, so only tasks are created in SF (until they make this possible). Have people start the day with their "MyWork" in taskray.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the coordination problems that come with implementing an internship program with 8 different "projects" in addition to "managament/admin" projects. We tried to use Salesforce tasks and some third part apps such as Delegated Tasks, , but that did not work. We need to have a clear view of the milestones of each project and how tasks are connected to reaching the milestones. We try to deploy the entire set of tasks per project at the beginning of the year (a set of activities such as field events, meetings, etc.) to make deliverables visible and then managers use that to see progress along the way and what is left behind./

  ### 23. Keeps a large, complicated team on track

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2020

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

We find the plan view so helpful in visualizing the work to do and the dependencies to get there. With so many projects running concurrently (100+) we needed a tool that could help us stay on top of everything in our queue.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

It makes it hard to visualize the types of work and where we may have resource constraints. We've had to build some custom board filters to try to get a visual on the creative workload.

**Recommendations to others considering TaskRay:**

Make sure you have your processes in place before implementation so everyone on the team uses it consistently.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're able to make sure our projects follow a defined path with the Taskray templates. It also helps us set realistic deadlines being able to visualize a project start to finish.

  ### 24. Productive lightning skin for project management needs

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2020

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

Lightning UI skin on top of SFDC has lots of good functionality
CSM support was great once asked for!

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

Automation is based on Process Builders, which can be rather cumbersome if you're needing more nuance or createing custom APEX
Object schema/ OOB functionality and settings are not clear in the initial documentation
Licensing was tricky to understand between Admin/Read-only/Community users

**Recommendations to others considering TaskRay:**

Understand how many requirements are solved by OOB solution. If you need to further customize or create code, consider speaking with AE/solution engineers first to understand limitations.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project management tracking for professional services projects

  ### 25. Great tool for project management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angela G. | Director, Customer Success, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2020

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

I love the Salesforce integration, ease of use, and makes it easy for teams to collaborate on a single project. It helps teams stay on track with due dates and custom views.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

It takes effort from a SF admin to customize.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We moved from Asana to TR. We have better insight and reporting on projects with TR. Since it's integrated with SF, we have one source of truth.

  ### 26. Adaptable and flexible to meet your needs.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2020

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

TaskRay is adaptable and to fit our ever changing process.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

Occasionally it requires more expert SalesForce knowledge to achieve the changes you require.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to create multiple templates for various types of projects rather than making our projects fit into one model. This allows us to have more accurate project plans and spend less time changing plans for each individual client.

  ### 27. One stop shop.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2020

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

The easy in which tasks and projects can be built and moved through the phases of a project.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

Sharing permissions are complex and have many dependencies on Salesforce.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accessibility to different departments of the company. End users have less questions about what is going on because the information is easy accessible and easy to understand.

  ### 28. Great Tool, but Needs a Few Tweaks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2019

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

TaskRay is fairly easy to use. The thing I like best is the project templates. Once I created a good template, I was able to very quickly create new projects and tailor them.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

It would be nice to have a place where you can easily see the start and end dates for tasks. The start and end dates for tasks should be a default or an option in certain of the views, not just the end dates.

**Recommendations to others considering TaskRay:**

The documentation is fantastic, but it also really helped me to walk-through the process with a live person.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using TaskRay to track product installations for our customers. The benefits are the ability to see across multiple customers to manage schedules and resources.

  ### 29. Best Project Management Tool built into Salesforce

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert R. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2019

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

I like that all of the tasks are built into Salesforce so that I am able to connect projects with the appropriate Opportunities.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

I wish Taskray was a little more flexible like Trello. User interface can be challenging sometimes.

**Recommendations to others considering TaskRay:**

If you have Salesforce, and do project management, you need Taskray

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Able to plan my team's capacity within Taskray, and see how much they are being utilized.

  ### 30. Solid product- easy to deploy to end users

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Investment Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2018

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

Kanban board design is excellent and color coding helps my team organize multiple projects. Task groups is a newer feature that is also well-liked.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

No ability to schedule dependencies based on task groups or inter-project dependencies

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization and coordination of tasks across multiple internal teams. Communication regarding specific tasks are recorded, but also can be viewed from a higher level (the project)

  ### 31. Good project management tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2019

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

Visual
User friendly & easy adoptability
Integrated in SFDc
Task connections

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

Not possible to follow up project costs and baseline
Not possible to go for the critical path

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing a complete project with virtual remote teams
Keep tasks under control

  ### 32. TaskRay is powerful, but can get complex

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2019

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

I like the UI of TaskRay - it's fairly intuitive for folks that are used to the Salesforce look and feel, and wasn't difficult to get used to as an end user.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

It seems the company is still finding it's way - they recently did a release that actually made it a little more difficult to get to the view of the hours logged each week. I hope they respond to user input on that.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it as our main time tracking tool now - a much easier experience to use an integrated SF application than to use an external site.

  ### 33. TaskRay Layouts

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2019

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

The Scrum and other TaskRay Views / UIs available based on the customers needs

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

Lack of detailed release notes for 'big releases'. Lack of a training center or university

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project management, ease of managing tasks

  ### 34. Sucess

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

The impacts it had made with our company.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

you cannot attach a signature document to reoccurring tasks - this was frustrating

**Recommendations to others considering TaskRay:**

n/a

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization, reoccurring tasks for team..... makes team sharing easy

  ### 35. Good software, great customer service

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2019

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

Taskray has very supportive and quick responding support team. We are always able to get all of our questions answered quickly.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

I think the setup and UI is a little clunky.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are now able to keep track of stalled projects, in flight projects, etc and have a clear view of timelines on all projects.

  ### 36. Good task manager

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2019

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

I like the ability to switch between views in an effort to have the optimal overview of my action items.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

While the application works great in a web browser I would rather it have a standalone app rather than have to use the Salesforce mobile app to access.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taskray allows me to stay on top of my teams tasks and to better plan out large scale projects.

  ### 37. Keeps track of EVERYTHING

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

I dislike that it's kind of outdated looking & has a high learning curve.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of everything with our customers in one place from all departments.

  ### 38. Task Management in Salesforce

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Investment Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2019

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

Drag and drop interface is easy for users to understand, supporting documentation is excellent

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

not always easy to find archived tasks but we use this in a non-conventional way

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

visibility across teams has greatly improved

  ### 39. Not a bad platform

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2019

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

Organized and the file upload feature is the best hands down

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

Not super easy to navigate, the different views could be confusing

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Taskray for a lot of the events we plan, mainly holding those on the committee accountable to their tasks.

  ### 40. Great product has fully changed how we do business

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesse F. | Executive, Business & Business Process Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2018

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

The fact the TaskRay is fully integrated inside of Salesforce has allowed our organization to completely transform how we do business. Once a sales deal is closed, it kicks off a project from a template, we assign projects and tasks through salesforce queues, which makes project management efficiently.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

The fact you have to have a full task ray license to expose any reports is the biggest weakness. There are time reports, projects reports, resource planning that unless everyone in our organization has a taskray license they can't see the reports. This is a major weakness in my opinion. The way time is tracked is on a project by project basis based on a estimated time - actual time basis. We have clients that buy hours from month to month, so we had to do some custom development to track hours from month to month on a single project vs. a typical project management method of tracking time.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our organization is more efficient operationally. We have much better visibility across our entire organization on our projects, resource utilization and our tracking and reporting to clients has completely been improved over our previous reporting.

  ### 41. One of the best project management tool we've used.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felicia K. | Finance + Operations Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2017

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

One of the best features, in my opinion, is the fact that it is native to Salesforce. This means that you are able to customize the project management tool specifically into what you need for it to be. Another great thing about Taskray is their awesome support specialist. Support tickets are usually handled within an hour. They are also constantly adding new features into Taskray (monthly!) and host a monthly webinar on whats new and training sessions.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

Although very powerful, It is a little tricky to customize taskray unless you are proficient with salesforce. Since it is built natively into Salesforce, you need to know how to edit within salesforce. They have a huge library on instructions to customize certain stuff though.

Another thing that may pose a problem to companies is that since it is native to salesforce, in order for external stakeholders or clients to see the progress of a particular project, you will either need to pay for an additional salesforce account and taskray license, or create a report in salesforce and export it. Basecamp would be a better product if you are working with clients.

**Recommendations to others considering TaskRay:**

This will not be the software for you if you are using it as a project management with clients.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Internal project management
- consolidating systems (Salesforce + taskray = happy together)

Consolidating of systems is important to us. With so many different softwares these days, it is hard to get staff to log into each system and update things. By having salesforce and taskray in one software, we are eliminating extra tabs and places that we have to look for more information. You can make different kinds of process and workflow between the two as well!

  ### 42. A cool way to organize projects

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2017

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

TaskRay gives me the ability to keep projects organized and see projects as a whole, but also get more specific into individual tasks within each project. With many view options, you can easily see overdue projects, multiple projects at once, and important information tied to each project. Because it's connected with Salesforce directly, you can easily click into connected Salesforce contacts too.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

While there are many features for organization and the product is very intuitive, I wish it were easier to navigate from project to project. Sometimes I find it difficult to easily switch from a single project to another single project.

Also, when using TaskRay you cannot have multiple windows open with different page views; I wish this was changed so I can review different page layouts/different projects to compare at the same time.

**Recommendations to others considering TaskRay:**

TaskRay is very helpful if you have multiple projects or tasks that you have lost organization on. I recommend using all of the filters and views to keep track of your tasks and utilize the email notifications as well to alert you when projects are overdue.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company uses TaskRay to manage my onboarding projects for all new clients coming on board. Because there are many projects at one time, TaskRay helps me organization these projects effectively, and let's me sort through tasks to easily show what steps are or aren't being done and makes it really easy to see if every client is going through all the recommended onboarding steps.

  ### 43. Easy to use Project Management software!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2018

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

The fact that it's native to Salesforce means our staff don't have to switch between programs. Easy to use drop and drag features also make assigning tasks easy

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

There is no capacity planning features which can make it hard to see how busy staff members are

**Recommendations to others considering TaskRay:**

If you want something that is native to Salesfroce and easy to sue the TaskRay is great

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our projects are finishing closer to their expected time and our clients can see our progress in real time. Some of our projects can also be monitored to see how many hours are left.

  ### 44. Great way to stay organized with projects

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jp G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2018

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

I like that I can keep track of all my action items in one place . it becomes a sort of project plan.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

I wish there was the ability for more customization on a personal level. To add fields that I find useful while other in my organization may not want them.

**Recommendations to others considering TaskRay:**

NA

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cross team action item tracking

  ### 45. TaskRay customer review

hard to pick - very easy to use - great interface

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

cant think of anything that I dislike to report here

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

not enough - need to use more - but really helps to outline the steps in projects and who is responsible

  ### 46. Project Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2018

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

Time Management
Task Breakup
Team views
Task reporting

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

Team collaboration, I create my own views to check the progress of my team members

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project Management for all our client, being a partner and running multiple projects it is always easy to get lost, Task ray never allows you to do that

  ### 47. Efficient Support Responses

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick V. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2018

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

I had a few questions related to configuring TaskRay to meet the custom needs our my users. TaskRay Support was quick to response (thanks, Lisa), and provided clear direction.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

Why is this field requiring me to put a value in it?

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Back-end configurations.

  ### 48. Nice tool

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2018

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

Easy UI that allows me to keep track of what I am working on and see what is coming up.

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

I need to use many different views for working on different situations. I can't seem to create a view that can handle many of my needs.

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Task management while also gaining visibility into other team members' workloads. We would be able to assign tasks more appropriately and increase efficiency.

  ### 49. good functions, a bit slow

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Philanthropy | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2018

**What do you like best about TaskRay?**

task group mode
custom colors
checklists

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

why is it so slow?
also, the functions and lists are so unintuitive relative to what they could be
um, update your dumb little factoids that are visible during loads— i know about purple carrots and murders of crows....it's very stale

**Recommendations to others considering TaskRay:**

get support learning all of the functions otherwise it is overwhelming

**What problems is TaskRay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

project management across teams

  ### 50. Awesome!

**What do you dislike about TaskRay?**

The connections between Lightning and Taskray are a lot looser than they should be

**Recommendations to others considering TaskRay:**
