Tasklans is a project management tool for freelancers and small teams: Kanban boards, a timer on every task, work logs and invoices in the same tool, and a Client role that lets each client follow their own projects without seeing your rates. Everything updates in real time. There is no per-seat pricing - the free plan includes ten users, ten projects and ten clients, and Pro will be priced per workspace with up to ten people included. Every project has a drag-and-drop Kanban board with one column per task status, and each workspace defines its own statuses. Tasks carry an assignee, start and due dates, an estimate and threaded comments; the task list has search and filters by assignee, status and project, and both tasks and work logs export to CSV. Time tracking is built in rather than sold as an add-on: start the timer on a task, and the hours land in daily work logs and in the dashboard charts - time by day, time by project, and the money each project has earned. Clients log in with their own role and see only the projects they are on, with tasks, comments and logged time, but never your rates. Boards, timers and comments update instantly for everyone over WebSockets. Tasklans is built for freelancers and teams of up to ten people who run several client projects at once and pay per seat elsewhere for people who only check the board once a week. The interface is available in English and Slovak. Everything is free while we're in beta, and invoicing is free for everyone until 30 April 2027. Early users keep their current free-plan limits. Built by one freelancer in Slovakia, in the evenings, over the past year and a half. Stack: Laravel 12, Inertia + React, Laravel Reverb, MySQL, Redis, Docker, on our own servers - a plain VPS, not a hyperscaler.
