I absolutely love Tango's real-time interactive Follow Mode. It overlays step-by-step instructions in a floating, non-intrusive window on top of the app users are using, making the learning process more seamless. This feature turns passive documentation into active, guided learning. Replacing static onboarding documents with Tango’s Follow Mode significantly boosted new hire onboarding completion rates and reduced support ticket volume, making my work feel more impactful. I don't like the limited branding customization in Tango. It doesn't let me control interactive elements to align with clients' brand guidelines, and there are limited font options available, which is a problem when clients need custom licensed fonts. The lack of enterprise white-labeling is also an issue as some clients want to remove the Tango logo and use custom domains. Additionally, I find the need to manually edit guides for brand updates quite tedious and time-consuming. I also experience occasional lag with complex workflows, and I think the basic analytics are lacking detailed user insights, which makes it harder to identify where users drop off or how guides are impacting business outcomes.
