**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I use Tango software to instantly create easy-to-follow guides and automate processes, which saves a significant amount of time on training, support, and documentation. I love how it automatically captures clicks, screenshots, and steps as I work, and then makes them shareable, editable, and exportable, which is really useful for onboarding, SOPs, and boosting software adoption. I also appreciate that the initial setup for the core documentation features is very straightforward, often taking just a minute or two to install and start using, especially with the free extension.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Learning curve for advanced features — while basics are easy, mastering all features can take some time. Mobile access limited — there isn’t as strong support for phones/tablets.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Tango to instantly create easy-to-follow guides and automate processes, saving significant time on training and documentation by capturing clicks and steps. It solves manual documentation issues by generating step-by-step guides automatically while I work.

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I have been using Tango AI to document internal processes and training workflows, and it made a big difference in how fast I can share knowledge with my team. I like that it automatically captures each step as I work and turns it into a clean, visual guide without having to take screenshots or write instructions manually. The browser extension is easy to use, and the guides look professional, which makes onboarding new team members much smoother.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Occasionally, longer workflows need a quick review afterward because some steps aren't captured perfectly, and it would be great to have more customization options for branding or formatting inside the interface.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me streamline documentation and reduce the time I spend creating SOPs, training materials, and internal “how-to” guides. Instead of manually taking screenshots and writing text, Tango generates polished step-by-step guides that I can share with colleagues immediately. This has saved hours of effort and improved consistency across our internal knowledge base.

  ### 3. Great tool for faster process documentation

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Best part about it is hte fast documentation process without spending time to take screenshots manually and it also help reduce the onboarding time because new user gets clear and useful visual instructions instantly and overall it improves the consistency and makes it easy to share the internal knowledge

  ### 4. Essential Tool for Streamlining Sales Processes and Boosting Team Efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eduardo A. | Business Development Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I've been using Tango for repetitive tasks in my sales motion it has helped my revenue team with turning actions into guides and automating follow ups so replies are not lost in the cracks.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Pricing could be more competitive it's definitely a solution for mid to large teams that can reasonably invest in the software. There's a good ROI but it will take time and the early high upfront cost might deter some smaller organizations at trying out an otherwise excellent tool for their revenue team.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping my revenue team be more efficient at performing follow ups streamlining with canned responses and following and documenting a single sales playbook that ensures the sales process is followed correctly from lead to closing. It's helped us onboard new folks to the sales team because almost every single procedure that was before documented poorly is not documented up to a tee. It's been a game changer for sales motions.

  ### 5. Effortless Step-by-Step Guides with Precise Click Capture

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emanuel . | IT Business Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Tango?**

The ease of creating, editing, and exporting step-by-step guides. Tasks that would normally require a video can be documented effortlessly, and the fact that Tango captures each click precisely makes a huge difference. In addition, the ability to create an external shareable link to the documentation, which I can send to clients so they always access the most up-to-date version, even as I add new content, is extremely useful.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

The only point I might highlight is the Markdown export. In some cases, it takes a while to reflect the most up-to-date screen content, although this may have been an isolated bug I encountered.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango solves the documentation and user manual challenges we face in our company. It also helps existing users revisit and remember system features over time. Overall, it significantly reduces the time and effort required compared to creating manuals manually.

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

Tango is fun and easy to use. I love how it captures my screen steps in real time so that I quickly create a step-by-step guide for colleagues and friends without having to take manual screenshots or physically type the instructions.

It's a bit challenging to do mobile captures but hopefully I will be able to do that seamlessly in time.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango saves me lots of time and hassle of compiling instructions and guides that are necessary for team building exercises, training and to enhance the efficiency of completing tasks. Trainees often require how-to guides at the start of new projects and these tango captures really help tremendously. Being able to understand the steps of a tasks or process from a visual guide is far better than trying to understand it from a written document. I would definitely recommend Tango.

  ### 7. Simple and Time-Saving Tool for Clear Step-by-Step Guides

That saved my time and made explaining things very simple.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

You still need to edit things if you want more detail or clarity.
So it is helpful, but not perfect for every situation.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Tango, explaining steps to others took a lot of time for me.
Now it automatically captures my actions and creates clear guides.
This solves the problem of writing long instructions manually.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anindya C. | Freelance Consultant, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Tango?**

This browser extension is a great tool that can reliably automate my daily workflows to a step and step friendly guide that I can refer easily. It saves a lot of time and effort.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

The privacy concerns of such a powerful tool is still a big thing to consider. As it can reliably capture and process diverse workflows of the organization where sometimes I deal with confidential data, the privacy and confidentiality compliance is non-negotiable.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The tedious, boring and mind numbing documentation to explain a software process in detail before being handed over to a subordinate can be just offloaded to Tango which leaves room for productive and exciting work. The work it produces is clear, consistent and helpful including all the details to explain the process completely.

I like that it captures screenshots and turns them into clean, professional-looking tutorials without much effort. It’s great for training new team members or documenting internal processes, and the Chrome extension is simple to use.

Sometimes the screenshot captures can miss small details, and editing steps afterward can feel a bit clunky. It would also be nice to have more customization options for formatting and branding in the final guides. Overall, though, it’s a solid tool that saves a lot of time.

I mostly use Tango to create step-by-step guides and documentation automatically while I am doing the actual work. I like how I don't have to pause my work because Tango takes care of everything automatically, like taking screenshots and step detection. This makes it much easier for me to concentrate and be more productive on my work. Before using Tango, I had to spend most of my time creating documentation on my own, but now it's so easy, that it actually feels like a lot less work.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Sometimes in automatic step detection, Tango detects some unnecessary steps or it doesn't capture the exact steps I want. I would love it if it could introduce some human in the loop concept.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Tango to create step-by-step guides and documentation automatically while working. It saves me time on creating documentation, as Tango handles screenshots and step detection, allowing me to stay focused and productive.

I use Tango to quickly create step-by-step guides and document workflows automatically. What I like most about Tango is how effortlessly it captures workflows in real time. The automatic step-by-step guide creation, clear screenshots, and editable instructions save a lot of manual effort. The intuitive interface made onboarding smooth and hassle-free. Tango saves significant time on documentation, is very easy to use, and adds real value for onboarding, training, and process sharing across teams.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

One area where Tango could improve is customization. More control over formatting, branding, and layout of guides would be helpful. Advanced editing options and better organization or search for a large library of guides could also make managing documentation at scale easier.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Tango to create step-by-step guides and document workflows automatically. It solves the problem of time-consuming documentation, reduces repetitive explanations, and improves team consistency, making onboarding and process sharing faster and clearer.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rolies K. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I really appreciate how Tango creates step-by-step guides that simplify our cleaning processes, whether it's residential, commercial, or for specific tasks like deep cleans, move-out cleans, and construction cleans. These guides are really handy for the employees on-site, allowing them to quickly refer to them and reduce the time spent on both training and their day-to-day tasks. Even our longer-tenured employees find these guides useful when they encounter an unfamiliar issue. It's been a big help in making our work more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I feel like Tango is not necessarily really targeted towards cleaning companies, so there's definitely some aspects that we can use. That being said, I don't think we're utilizing the program fully. And that's basically the biggest thing there.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Tango to create visuals and step-by-step guides for training, cutting down on training time and costs, and simplifying processes. It helps our employees, even those with experience, to quickly resolve new issues.

**What do you like best about Tango?**

It makes it easy to create step-by-step guides and walkthroughs. The automatic screen capture saves a lot of time, and the clean, well-structured documentation helps teams onboard faster without needing long explanations. I also appreciate the intuitive interface and the ability to share guides instantly, which improves collaboration and keeps processes consistent across the team.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

With Tango, the customization options for formatting and branding feel somewhat limited. The advanced editing features and integrations could also be improved, especially for teams that have more complex workflows. In addition, the pricing can seem a bit high for smaller teams or individual users who don’t use all of the features on a regular basis.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango addresses the manual, time-consuming nature of process documentation. Rather than writing step-by-step guides from scratch, it automatically captures workflows and turns them into structured, easy-to-follow documentation. For me, this saves a significant amount of time, reduces errors, and helps keep processes consistent. It also speeds up onboarding and training, since team members can follow standardized guides more easily without needing constant support.

  ### 15. Effortless Documentation with Tango

The guides are visual and clear, making them easy for anyone to follow, which is especially helpful for onboarding new team members and standardizing processes. The integration with other tools we use, like Notion and Slack, makes documentation centralized and easily accessible. The initial setup was also very easy and straightforward, with an intuitive interface that made onboarding smooth.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

One area that could be improved in Tango is customization and editing flexibility for more complex workflows. Sometimes I’d like more control over formatting or advanced options when refining guides. Additionally, performance can occasionally slow down when working on longer processes. That said, these are minor issues compared to the overall value the tool provides.

  ### 23. The Easiest Way to Communicate Steps Remotely

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy B. | Adjunct Professor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I use tango regularly to create interactive visual aids and how-to guides to help students and colleagues solve problems. The simple process of putting one together allows me to create a comprehensive guide in seconds, which I can then name, edit, and send to anyone. The best part about tango is that it will walk you through the task side-by-side, seeing both the instructions and the page you're working with at once. It is super simple to add as an extension to Google Chrome.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Tango does draw directly from the page you're looking at, so if it is a page with sensitive or personal information, there is not currently a tool that allows you to blur things out.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I consistently need to communicate complex steps across remote platforms. This helps me to communicate with students and colleagues efficiently and effectively without the hassle of "jumping on a Zoom call".

The capture process is seamless, and I appreciate how easy it is to go back and edit or refine steps as needed. The tool supports different learning styles well. Some users prefer a written guide, while others learn best by being hands-on, and Tango meets both needs. Reviewers can reference the guide on their own or use the “step me through it” feature, which creates a more interactive experience.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

No major concerns so far. Any small edits I’ve needed have been easy to make.

**Reviewed by:** Shyra Q. | SVP, Clinical Strategy, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

The Chrome extension makes even last minute workflow captures no problem for our team. We can develop SOPs/workflows in minutes and share them with our team via links. I appreciate the ability to quickly edit steps and keep the links updated rather than having to share the entire workflow all over again. I also appreciate the ability to add in our own screenshots and blur portions of the screen. Tango is easy to get started with, the desktop app makes it easy to include out-of-browser screenshots. I use Tango near daily when we are getting started with a new product or process. It is well received by our entire team and the Guide Me feature has reduced the amount of in-person time I have to spend training people on multistep processes. The embed link features are probably my favorite; we can put them right where our employees need to see them.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

There are no downsides to using Tango. This is my third company using Tango and I will continue to ensure Tango is a part of my daily work life no matter where I work!

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Training and onboarding is a breeze with Tango. Our team is entirely remote so training someone can take a ton of time; with Tango, we can show them once and then refer them to the workflows (especially with the Guide Me feature) to follow along. It significantly reduces the number of interruptions in a day from a newer employee who doesn't remember all of the steps they need to follow. I have used Tango in seed startups with as few as 6 employees and in large multistate 2000 employee companies and the reception is great from those using the guides on both ends of that spectrum.

  ### 26. Streamlined Documentation with Minor Hiccups

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** tushar v. | Manager

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I use Tango to document my work processes so I don't have to explain the same steps repeatedly. It automatically captures my steps and turns them into clear, step-by-step guides without extra effort. I also like how easy it is to share, edit, and reuse those guides for training. Setup was quite user-friendly and easy.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Sometimes the auto-captured steps need manual editing, especially for complex or dynamic workflows. It also feels a bit slow on heavy web pages and the screenshots occasionally need cleanup.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Tango to document work processes, reducing time wasted on manual documentation. It helps avoid confusion and mistakes, automatically capturing steps into guides, which I can easily share and reuse.

  ### 27. A Lifesaver for SOPs: Fast, Intuitive Workflow Documentation with Tango

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Arts and Crafts | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Tango?**

“I’ve been using Tango to capture processes and create quick how‑to guides, and honestly it’s been a lifesaver for documentation. Instead of doing full screen recordings or manually taking screenshots, Tango automatically captures each step and turns it into a clean, editable workflow with text descriptions, which is super handy for explaining tasks to coworkers or clients without any ambiguity.

The interface feels intuitive, and it saves a ton of time compared to documenting everything step by step on my own. I also like that I can edit the screenshots afterward, blur sensitive information, and then export the guide or share a link right away.

That said, it isn’t a traditional video recorder, so don’t expect full motion recording or audio capture like you’d get from Loom or Camtasia. If you need video tutorials, you’ll still want a separate tool for that.

Overall, it’s great for SOPs and workflow documentation: it saves time and makes sharing processes easy. Just keep in mind that its focus isn’t on video capture.”

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Nothing to add at the moment. It’s a good program, and I’m still playing around in it.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Screensharing

  ### 28. Tango Makes Workflow Documentation Simple and Visual

It saves me so much time when explaining processes or training team members. I love how organized and visual it is. It takes something that could be complicated and makes it simple and shareable.

Highly recommend it for anyone who needs to document workflows or communicate steps clearly!

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

At this time, I don't have any feedback to share. The tool has been excellent so far.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool has been instrumental in helping me safeguard my time at work. Additionally, it has enabled me to train more efficiently and at a quicker pace.

  ### 29. User-Friendly Tool That Revolutionizes Documentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Tango is user friendly. It works great for documenting and capturing screenshots. Tango has saved me hours of labor and time. With a click, Tango with capture a screen and describe the steps. Editing is a breeze. This tool is my favorite go to for creating user guides.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I dislike the fact that I’m only able to use Tango in the browser that I have open. It would be great if I could click on images that I have saved.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m in the process of creating user guides for our CRM system and Tango is making life so much easier for me because of its click and capture feature. Otherwise, I would have to create individual screenshots and type out the commands and steps, but Tango that’s all of that automatically.

  ### 30. Great for Partner and Internal walkthroughs!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I've used Tango to create step-by-step how-to guides for both partners and internal training. These guides have saved a significant amount of time by making processes easy to follow and consistently repeatable. One of the best features is the ability to quickly edit and update workflows of the guides you are creating, which helps keep content accurate without needing to start from scratch every time something changes.

Because the guides are designed to be live and editable, downloading them as PDFs isn't ideal. I understand the reasoning behind this, and it's a fair tradeoff to keep the content dynamic and current.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Because the guides are designed to be live and editable, downloading them as PDFs isn't ideal. It would be awesome if those looked better or got some TLC.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango is solving the problem of inconsistent documentation and time-consuming manual training. Before using it, creating step-by-step guides took a lot of effort, and keeping them updated was a challenge. Now, with Tango, I can generate clear, visual instructions just by walking through a process on my own. This has drastically cut down the time it takes to create training materials and ensures that our documentation is always accurate and easy to follow.

It’s also helping reduce repetitive questions from partners and internal team members. Instead of walking someone through a process multiple times, I can just send them a Tango and they can follow it at their own pace. This improves efficiency for everyone involved and helps scale our support without sacrificing quality.

  ### 31. Game changer for Internal team and Client up skilling/support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rochelle S. | Customer Success and Support Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I love how easy it is to navigate and adjust what your capturing as you are going. I've been able to create such detailed and helpful guides for both internal team members and external clients learning to use our product. Even one of my clients wanted to know what tango was all about when I sent her a guide through tango so that she could use it internally!

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

It doesn't let me capture steps between chrome and my Microsoft email app which I thought tango was able to do so may be a user error thing but I found this a bit frustrating.

And this is TINY but the auto instructions always defaults to 'Click' and sometimes I want to change it up each step with a 'Navigate to' or select option so I'd love some quick populate options that I could select to swap out the word click on the steps I want to.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our Knowledge base is still a WIP so Tango is allowing me to give customers really clear and simple step by step guides on how to use our system

Tango solves the challenge of onboarding and training offshore support efficiently. Instead of writing out long instructions or doing repeated walkthroughs, I can just record a process once and share a guide instantly. **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ana P. | Senior Training Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Tango makes creating user guides for processes very quick and easy! It records the screenshots and automates text for the step by step process in real time. This saves so much time from having to type out all the steps and take each screenshots individually to build guides. The guides are also easy to edit to change and remove steps or crop/zoom in on the screen captures.

Tango is fairly intuitive with minimal training, making it easy to rollout to your team.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I wish tango converted to word documents. It does convert to a PDF format. I also don't like that if you copy one of the images from a guide to use for another resource, it copies the full image instead of the edited/cropped version.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes my time more efficient by only having to use one tool to create a user guide on our software and automating the text, as opposed to a separate application for screen captures and writing the text for each step.
