## About Tamr
As the only AI-native master data management (MDM) solution, Tamr delivers the trusted data you need to power your generative AI initiatives. By unifying, cleaning, and enriching fragmented enterprise data, Tamr produces the golden records required for responsible and effective AI automation, informed decision-making, improved revenue growth, and better customer experiences. Tamr’s patented, AI-centric approach combines machine learning and AI agents with human refinement and oversight to deliver value in days or weeks, not months or years like traditional rules-based MDM and DIY solutions. With intuitive 360-degree views linking data across silos, your business can improve data accessibility and leverage the best, most accurate information in real time. Tamr uses AI and machine learning to identify and resolve duplicate and inconsistent records across sources, creating a single, trusted "golden record." Additionally, Tamr standardizes and validates data formats, fills in missing values through its enrichment capabilities, and corrects inconsistencies, ensuring data is accurate, consistent, complete, and ready for analytical and operational use cases. Tamr is AI-native because AI has been built into the core of the platform from the start, not bolted on like traditional, legacy MDM solution providers have done. Unlike traditional MDM solutions that rely on static rules and manual processes, Tamr leverages AI for core functions like entity resolution, schema mapping, real-time search, and data enrichment. This AI-centric approach delivers faster, more scalable, and more accurate data mastering to enable better business outcomes with less effort. Tamr's Solutions: Customer 360, CRM/ERP Data Unification, MDM Modernization with AI, Healthcare Data Mastering, and Supplier Data Mastering.

## Tamr Reviews
 ### 1. Intuitive UI and Strong Model Clustering, and great Customer Support

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Tamr?**

The UI is easy to use and feels intuitive. The model for clustering profiles is sophisticated and delivers the kind of structure I was looking for. Customer support has also been great—responsive and helpful whenever I’ve needed assistance.

**What do you dislike about Tamr?**

The main challenge has been the engineering effort required around to integrate TAMR to our system. We onboarded TAMR during their migration from the old UI to the new UI, and at that time the scheduling pipeline wasn’t available. As a result, we had to build our own scheduling pipeline to trigger the TAMR APIs. In addition, during this update the new model wasn’t backward compatible, so we had to handle the migration manually.

**What problems is Tamr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TAMR is able to cluster customer profiles across various systems and produce golden records for each profile. This helps migrate outdated database systems into a new home without carrying over duplicated values. It also helps complete profile information that is missing, so the customer data is more consistent and usable.
The golden records result is also reliable with reasonable running time for end to end flow.

**Official Response from Tatiana Ladygina:**

> Appreciate the review, especially the detail on the integration effort. We'll make sure to address this for future updates. Glad the platform is delivering on the profile completeness and dedupe side.

 ### 2. Powerful Data Unification, Needs Improved API Features

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohammed A.

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Tamr?**

I like the fact that the user experience and the user interface are very simple and easy to use. The APIs are also easy to use, which is great. There are multiple sources of data enrichment, and I appreciate that once I've published an output, there are multiple grains I can publish, like source records and golden records. It's simple and easy to use. Entities take a bit of time and iterations to get them right, but once you've got that down, everything else is quite straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Tamr?**

It's not easy to create custom products and also the APIs don't offer deltas right now. So I'm having to do full loads every single day.

**What problems is Tamr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Tamr to ingest data, create entities, and publish outputs. It allows us to unify entities from different departments within the business, for example Sales might have a slightly different name for a company than what Operations does.

**Official Response from Tatiana Ladygina:**

> Thank you for your thoughtful review! It's great to hear the Tamr platform working well for you and your team. I've shared your feedback on APIs with our product team, along with the feedback on custom products. If you'd be open to a short conversation about this, we'd welcome the details; just reach out to your account team.

Thanks again for taking the time to write this up.

 ### 3. My 4 years of working with Tamr

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Tamr?**

Have worked with the Tamr solution and team for several years. The team are knowledgeable, responsive, personable and helpful. The tech itself offers a powerful solution for certain kinds of data challenges, using an unusual and perhaps unique approach (human-guided ML).

**What do you dislike about Tamr?**

Tamr Core has presented us with two main technical issues. The first is the difficulty of upgrading, predominantly due to dependencies on non-Tamr software components. The second is the challenge of moving from Core to Cloud (we were expecting this to take days, but has taken months).

**What problems is Tamr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Although MDM is the only available option in the previous question, we're not strictly using Tamr for MDM. We are mastering large amounts of records from several sources, in order to help with Clinical Study feasibility assessment. We did have a project to master vendor data from throughout our Supply Chain, but have for various reasons migrated that solution to an alternative technology.

**Official Response from Tatiana Ladygina:**

> Four years of partnership means a lot, and we’re glad Tamr’s unique approach to MDM has been a strong fit for you and your organization. We know that upgrades can be complex, and we’re actively working to make that experience smoother. Thanks for sharing your full experience — both the highlights and the challenges — it helps us continue to improve.

 ### 4. The TAMR team -- professional, passionate and committed to helping.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Tamr?**

Cleaning and create master data seems easy on the surface until you dig in and then realize -- better to just call Tamr as they have the most elegant solution to this problem that seems easy on the surface, but is actually quite complex once you dig in.

**What do you dislike about Tamr?**

That it's hard to plug this into my AI/ML pipeline.

**What problems is Tamr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cleaning and mastering data -- removes all of the finger pointing and also makes the problem a breeze.

 ### 5. Perfect match for what we need

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peya C. | Data Governance Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Tamr?**

The application and its promises match what we need, so promising i. the way that it understands what we are looking for. Appreciate the effort to have a local representative who supports us and our requirements.

**What do you dislike about Tamr?**

Quick turnoverof resources, unable to handover properly.

**What problems is Tamr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it provides an easy way to do mastering, but our needs extend to further linking, household and influence beyond mastering

**Official Response from Tatiana Ladygina:**

> We’re glad Tamr is a strong fit for your data mastering needs and that having local support has helped you move faster. We hear you on the challenges around resource transitions and are always working to improve. Feedback like yours helps us focus on the areas that matter most — thanks again for sharing your experience!

 ### 6. Tamr is the great space to kick start an MDM journey

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Tamr?**

Simplicity on the product end.

It is easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Tamr?**

Out of box features are not so great and requires more customizations to address business use cases.

**What problems is Tamr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tamr helps to dedup the accounts.

**Official Response from Tatiana Ladygina:**

> Tamr was built to make mastering data simpler, so it’s great to see that ease of use is standing out for you! We recognize that more out-of-the-box functionality would make it even easier to address different business needs, and that’s an area we’re investing in. Thanks for sharing your feedback with us!
