Setting it up for your own organization allows you to centralize communication, create groups to target the people who need to receive the information. The search tools make it easy to find old posts. I found some options that I hadn't seen elsewhere, like disconnect schedules, where you can choose not to receive any notifications. Moreover, the team is very responsive and committed to developing the features that users need, and they take feedback on usage into account.
