## Stitch Reviews
  ### 1. Easy and modular!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Stitch?**

I like being able to add new data to our warehouse from lots of taps but that's what all the similar companies do. The thing I love is Stitch focusing on Signer as a way to create a new standard. Lots of connectors are popping up and us, data engineers, don't need to reinvent the wheel!

**What do you dislike about Stitch?**

I'd love to more clarity in some documentations and better handling of duplicates / errors.

**What problems is Stitch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly ETLS. We're now moving faster not having to worry about some details.

  ### 2. Fantastic tool for data aggregation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan L. | Head of Finance and Revenue Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Stitch?**

Simple integrations to multiple services, customizable

**What do you dislike about Stitch?**

Very minor but would be nice to have a "select all tables"/"select all fields" option

**Recommendations to others considering Stitch:**

Great, cost efficient way to consolidate multiple data sources

**What problems is Stitch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aggregating multiple BI data sources into one destination

  ### 3. Highly recommend!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Stitch?**

The documentation and chat support is top notch. Whenever I run into a problem the Stitch team is quick to help out.

**What do you dislike about Stitch?**

I do not have any complaints about the Stitch product.

**What problems is Stitch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rather than building a custom ETL pipeline, Stitch is provides a much faster and efficient service that has plenty of integrations. I've saved so much time using this service.

  ### 4. Quick Setup to Insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Max M. | Account Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Stitch?**

The easy interface and extensive documentation make setup a breeze, and changes are as easy as a few clicks, versus hours spent addressing new metrics or sunsetting older schemas.

**What do you dislike about Stitch?**

Replications can be costly depending on needs, especially with larger attribution windows like Facebook ads, so adjust your replication frequency accordingly.

**Recommendations to others considering Stitch:**

Make sure you overestimate your requirements for row counts and test at a lower commitment.

**What problems is Stitch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're rounding out our pipelines to allow for more detailed information in relation to paid advertising. Stitch has extensive coverage for specific connectors, and allows us to get to insights quicker.

  ### 5. About as easy as it gets

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Stitch?**

 - Simplicity of connecting an incredible number of apps to extract and load data into a centralized warehouse.
 - Excellent documentation
 - UI is solid

**What do you dislike about Stitch?**

 - More integrations would always be helpful.
 - More refined alerting would be nice -it will tell you when there are errors, but sometimes they resolve themselves. Setting thresholds for time-since-last-successful extract, etc.

**What problems is Stitch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Stitch to pull data from disparate sources, including homegrown systems, into a central data warehouse.

**Official Response from Fraser Marlow:**

> Thanks for the feedback. We are working on adding integrations, and there is always the open-source option with Singer.io- community involvement is encouraged! And thanks for the note on the documentation - our Docs team take a lot of pride in their work.

  ### 6. quick setup very reliable

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel G. | VP Eng, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Stitch?**

did not have to spend any money to get started quick. for a small start up this is very important.

**What do you dislike about Stitch?**

the 'T' in ETL is missing. some minor transformation is some time requiered

**What problems is Stitch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

get all the data i need for simple reports into a single place. in my case it is into google big query

  ### 7. Best ETL tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manuel Honorio d. | Cofounder & CTO, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Stitch?**

Super easy to configure and it has a lot of integrations.

**What do you dislike about Stitch?**

You can't customize with fields are migrated for MongoDB

**Recommendations to others considering Stitch:**

You should give Stitch a try, you'll finish the whole configuration in under 30 min.

**What problems is Stitch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Copying all my Postgres, Mongo and Github data to a Warehouse to latter do BI on it.

**Official Response from Fraser Marlow:**

> Thanks Manuel. More integrations are in the pipe! It sounds like 30 minutes well spent :-)

  ### 8. Easy & Simple Setup Process

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Stitch?**

The integration setup process - easy, simple, straight forward

**What do you dislike about Stitch?**

No info re the data transfer to destination - not a fan of the sit and wait and it will eventually happen part.

**What problems is Stitch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simplify and automate data fetching process from online services

  ### 9. Easiest way to transfer data

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Stitch?**

The simplicity of the UI, and how easy it is for non-engineers to set things up.

**What do you dislike about Stitch?**

None. Haven’t used it enough to really add value here. Would be nice to have shorter delays between transfers, but not sure if that’s up to us to set up or if instant transfers isn’t available.

**What problems is Stitch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transferring data from db to redshift. Faster querying, all thanks to stitch making that available.

  ### 10. An easy and affordable tool to start aggregating and consolidating data

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Stitch?**

If you are starting to work with different data sources and you need an affordable tool to start aggregating and consolidating data, Stitch is your tool. They have a free tier that is more than enough for companies that are just starting to work with this kind of tool, connecting data sources is as simples as pressing a button and they have an easy to understand interface.

**What do you dislike about Stitch?**

If sending data to Stitch was easy, connecting to one of the data warehouses was not so simple. Although you just need to select the destination and follow the instructions I felt they didn't explain properly the configuration step. I had to add the account ID of the destination and there wasn't context on what information needed so after getting a bunch of errors I found out that it was the username I was using on the warehouse I chose.

**Recommendations to others considering Stitch:**

There are some integrations that are free and others that you can only get with the paid plan. In my case I was using only free integrations. I recommend you taking a look at their integrations prior creating an account to check if you can be on their free tier.

**What problems is Stitch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were receving data from different sources and I wanted to find a way to consolidate this data in a single source. And it had to be simple enough for a non-technical person (meaning with less code possible) to be able to work on this data set and do better analysis. We could aggregate data from our CRM, Marketing Automation and Segment and learn more about our users.

  ### 11. Solid ETL

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Stitch?**

Easy to use. Error messages are helpful. Good interface for keeping tabs on how much you're using against your license.

**What do you dislike about Stitch?**

I wish there were more functionality for highly technical users. It would be awesome to be able to do more advanced ETL with this product for the price we pay.

**What problems is Stitch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We pull data from several different sources into a central database. This is really valuable when we were using a BI solution that didn't aggregate all of our data for us. However, we probably won't need this service in the future since we'll be moving to a BI tool that does that for us.

  ### 12. Data Engineer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Stitch?**

Stitch is insanely easy and has robust scheduling tools

**What do you dislike about Stitch?**

The scheduling is in UTC (why not localized timezones?) Restrictions on 4mb string limits

**What problems is Stitch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Like our entire data infrastructure

**Official Response from Fraser Marlow:**

> Thanks for sharing your feedback. "Insanely easy" is what we shoot for.

  ### 13. The solution for pulling data from Mongodb to Postgres sql

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Stitch?**

It works. It was easy to set up. It was the answer to my pain, well worth the money.

**What do you dislike about Stitch?**

I could enjoy mysql as a data target, but this is about it.

**What problems is Stitch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m using stitch to pull data together from various sources into warehouse.

  ### 14. Easy to use product for ETL

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Stitch?**

Very easy to use and able to connect to many different data sources. Also free tier enables to sync limited number of records for free. It is almost zero maintenance product where you set it up correctly and then it does the job.

**What do you dislike about Stitch?**

Have some requirements on the source tables side which in some cases create a additional burden and needs working with other teams across organization to make it work.

**Recommendations to others considering Stitch:**

Consider the costs when setting up and also GDPR needs.

**What problems is Stitch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To bring data from SQL server to Snowflake data warehouse continuously.

  ### 15. Cool tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Stitch?**

Great user interface, adequate pricing and quick support

**What do you dislike about Stitch?**

They are working on improving details of some connections

**What problems is Stitch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For us as a small company, Stitch provides enterprise grade data extraction/loading

  ### 16. Stitch @ SchoolMouv

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Stitch?**

I really enjoy how stitch makes data ingestion really easy without care about maintain and deploy

**What do you dislike about Stitch?**

Maybe you can use the same data visualisation of pipeline running that Airflow

**What problems is Stitch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Move data from Stitch to BQ

  ### 17. Great for quick data warehouse needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Casey R. | Casey Rovinelli, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Stitch?**

Simple integration with an amazing array of data sources. All the regular cast of characters (Salesforce, Google Analytics etc.) and a ton of other ones that we use regularly (Amplitude, Segment etc.). Super simple to ingest data from multiple sources and inject it into a data warehouse that you can put a BI tool on top of. If you use Panoply, you can basically setup a full data warehouse in minutes. Great stuff.

**What do you dislike about Stitch?**

It's not exactly 'capital T' transform. But, Stitch is good enough for most light/medium duty data warehousing needs.

**What problems is Stitch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed to connect Salesforce, Amplitude, Google Analytics, Segment and Referral Saasquatch data into one data warehouse that I could layer a BI on top of. Stitch fit the bill.

  ### 18. ETL done right with approachable pricing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ian F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Stitch?**

Plenty of integrations on both technical side (databases) as well as SaaS products (GA, Salesforce, ...), with lots of them in the Free tier. Between Stitch and Redshift (or BigQuery), what would take a month and $100k 10 years ago I can do in 15 minutes (and few hundred $) today - this is a serious game changer in making data integration approachable to company of every size.

And Stitch is one of the few companies in this space that does not do enterprise/hidden pricing and instead let everyone grow their usage from free/cheap into higher paid plans as the company grows - great for startups and small companies!

**What do you dislike about Stitch?**

The user interface takes a short time to get used to, but it has been steadily improving over the last year.

**Recommendations to others considering Stitch:**

Just give it a try

**What problems is Stitch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We extract data from most of the SaaS services we use (GA, Zendesk, Salesforce, Recurly, Braintree, ...) as well as our production database into a single central AWS Redshift instance - then it is extremely easy to analyse the data, correlate the analysis between systems (e.g. marketing campaign spending by channel from AdWords vs lead conversion from GA vs user activity during trial from our own DB), alert on things.
