## Taktile Reviews
  ### 1. Leverage any integration with ease

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

It allows us to utilize current market standards and providers without having the effort to fully integrate - it's like picking from a shelf.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

Currently, we underutilize the analys functionalities given its mostly inhouse.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In essence, it allows us to configure decision making processes without having to worry (or script) the technical implemtation. We basically have endless possibilities with regard to individual configurations, backtesting or iterating decision flows. It allows us to move quickly to changes in the market or act upon changing risk parameters.

**Official Response from Liz Gorson:**

> Thank you for sharing this review! I love the “picking from a shelf” analogy — giving teams access to leading data providers without the heavy lift of the integration is something our customers consistently value, and I’m so glad to hear that’s been true for you as well. It’s also great to see your team taking advantage of the platform’s flexibility. The ability to configure tailored decision flows according to your team’s unique strategy is intentionally built into our risk decisioning platform. Please feel free to reach out to your customer value engineer with any additional feedback!

  ### 2. Easy to use with super helpful staff

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

- User-friendly UI
- Extremly helpful staff, helping us with the implementation and any questions we have have. Very quick in response time. (Thank you Ronja!)
- Quick turnaround in implementing new features we may need. As our previous provider went into liquidation, Taktile made the transition quick and seamless.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

We've had some issues with getting users access to the platform, but Taktile have helped us get it sorted quickly. Nothing else comes to mind

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enabling us to run our Credit Scorecard and integrate it with our database

**Official Response from Liz Gorson:**

> Thank you for sharing this review! I’m so glad to hear that you had a positive experience with the implementation. Also, appreciate you highlighting the quick turnaround on feature requests — we’re always evolving our platform to continually meet the needs of our customers.

  ### 3. Taktile: The Ideal Decision Engine for Non-Technical Users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

With my minimal technical background, I’ve found Taktile to be the most user-friendly decision engine compared to other providers I’ve tried. The flow overviews provide a clear picture of where the rules are within the process.
Their support has been exceptional, going beyond contractual limitations. The pace of delivery has been ideal for our small team, and Taktile has been both patient and highly supportive throughout.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

I haven't faced any unsolvable issues, and I'm extremely satisfied with Taktile.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enhancing the time it takes to review credit applications will enable us to scale the business while keeping the cost per application low.

**Official Response from Liz Gorson:**

> What a wonderful review! Thanks so much for sharing. It’s exciting to hear that, in your words, Taktile is “the most-user friendly decision engine.” Empowering non-technical users to build, test, and make changes to your credit strategy is integral to what we do, so it’s rewarding to see this reflected in your experience. Also, you mentioned our credit decisioning engine is helping you scale while keeping costs low — thrilled to see such a positive impact for your organization!

  ### 4. Excellent Team, Great Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abodunde O. | Data Scientist (Decision Science), Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

Taktile has made the onboarding and launch of our product incredibly smooth. The adaptable, low-code platform combined with the excellent support from the customer success team allowed us to implement and test our credit policies well before each deadline. The frequent release of new features has directly enhanced the efficiency of our internal teams. I highly recommend partnering with them!

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

Nothing in particular. The platform itself is easy to use and the support team is always on there to answer any questions or provide all sorts of necessary assistance. Perhaps they could allow more libraries in their code node.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taktile is a decision engine that helps to simplify the process flow underpinning credit decisions. As a decision scientist, this means that they allow (in a low/no code environment) the easy implementation of technical requirements that would have otherwise been part of the bank's core systems. This is particularly useful as it means that my team and I can stay abreast of the ever changing dynamics in the lending market. New information leading to changes ca be easily implemented with any fear of service disruptions. Finally, tThere is more control over the underwriting process and helps ensure that our processes stay up to date with industry dynamics as new learning and information could easily be implemented without serious changes to source systems.

**Official Response from Liz Gorson:**

> Thank you, Abodunde, for this thoughtful review! I loved reading how you and your team, in your own words, can “stay abreast of the ever-changing dynamics in the lending market” and how there is more control over the underwriting process. One of the core values of our credit decisioning engine is to make it easier for you to easily and quickly implement and test credit policies. Please feel free to reach out to your customer success manager if you have any ideas or observations — we truly value your perspective!

  ### 5. Very useful automation software & excellent technical support to help make it happen

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

- User freindly design, scope to self-serve once you've learnt the basics.
- Very knowledgable and helpful experts on hand to take you through the whole process.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

- There are some edge case customisation options that are not yet available. Our example was that when processing business applications we have been unable to lable review cases by the company name which makes it harder to navigate the taktile portal.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- It is helping us automate simpler credit checks.

**Official Response from Liz Gorson:**

> Thank you for your valuable feedback. I’m happy to hear you find the platform user-friendly and that you’ve been able to self-serve. Also, appreciate you sharing the challenge around edge case customization options. Your feedback is valuable as we continue to enhance the platform, and we continually take our customers’ considerations into account as we build our roadmap. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your customer value engineer with any additional observations or questions!

  ### 6. Fantastic backbone for building next gen lending

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grant S. | General Manager - Strategic Initiatives, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

We evaluated 10+ decision platforms before selecting Tatktile. This included both well established and next generation products. Here are a few of the reasons that we chose Taktile and have been extremely satisifed with our choice:

1.) Intuitive for business users without compromsing on capability. For us a major focus is enabling pro business users who need to translate sophisticated domain knowledge into decision rules but don't, for example, know python. Taktile strikes the right balance here in terms of intuitive design plus deep functionality.

2.) Flexbility to innovate. We haven't yet run into a use case which we couldn't figure out how to achieve with Taktile. For example, many of our use cases aren't the classic input in / decision out pattern but rather dynamically adjust a borrower's experience as more information is collected about the borrower. Taktile has provided a much needed level of flexibility to tackle these kinds of use cases.

3.) Great to work with. Taktile stands out in terms of how they engage and support customers. This includes expertise on solution patterns for use cases, responsiveness on product requests and a general philosophy of partnership.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

We don't have any significant dislikes about Taktile.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Taktile as an orchestration and rules engine to automate consumer lending.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you, Grant, for this thorough summary of your selection process for a decision engine - and it's great to hear that we're stacking up well as we're trying our best to push the boundaries of what the next generation of decision engines will look like.

  ### 7. Simplifies building credit decisioning engines, enabling faster and more accurate underwriting.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

We used Taktile as the credit decisioning engine, easy integration with other platforms and very flexible in creating and updating codes with minimal touchpoints. Taktile significantly speeds up and improves the underwriting process and accuracy. The best part about Taktile is the exceptional support from the team, particularly Jan and Moritz. They provided quick responses and helped build the credit decisioning flows in a short time to meet our deadlines. Their ongoing support makes the entire experience with Taktile seamless.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

While there are a few areas where minor improvements could be made, overall, we are very satisfied with Taktile.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to build underwriting flows with simple coding, monitor portfolio performance, and improve accuracy and speed of underwriting through integration with other data platforms.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you for this review! I loved the shoutout of members of our customer success team - I'll make sure to let them know that their services are so highly appreciated!

  ### 8. Very supportive

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

The ability for us to configure policy changes without engineering involvement

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

I think taktile's capabilities is still in a fairly early phases which isn't something that I dislike but moreso just a fact and will mean to more things to come in the future.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly having to avoid a large engineering effort/resources in order for our underwriting team to make policy changes.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you for this review! And as you said, I hope will continue to drive innovation as we're re-inventing together with our customers what next generation decision engines or platforms will be like.

  ### 9. Taktile is an awesome company that is willing to go above and beyond to help their clients.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

The most helpful aspect about Taktile is their willingness to help onboard and teach people how to use their system. Robin from the Taktile team met with us every week and even twice a week sometimes to get us to our goal. Integrating Taktile to our internal system was relatively easy but when struggles did come up, Robin was right there to help.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

No major dislikes about Taktile. The team is great and their product works as promised. They have lots of goals for their product which will only make it better!

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem we had was inefficiencies when altering credit policies and implementing it into the model. Most changes were heavily reliant on engineering which slowed us down. Taktile has allowed underwriting to make their own changes without the need of engineering resources which makes decisions faster and more efficient.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you for this review! It's great to read that you think of us as a true partner that helps you accomplish your objectives. It also sounds like your journey, moving off an in-house solution to unlock the power of rapid iteration & testing is spot on where we see the main value proposition for a next-generation decision platform.

  ### 10. Underwriting as a programming language

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

Python principles to autonomously underwrite a company in the manner of seconds

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

The options for reports is limiting and the lack of search through live-decisions

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taktile solves the problem of underwriting businesses we may provide a principle amount to in the manner of a few minutes. By centralizing all of the crucial reports we need (i.e. KYB, KYC, etc), we can create an automated system that underwrites businesses, saving us time to focus on other components of the company.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you for your review! I like how you called out the "python principles" - which we basically paired up with a simple yet powerful user interface to quickly built, iterate and optimize decision flows for any use case. On the reports, please take a moment to connect with your customer success manager to sketch out what specific reporting capabilities across live-decisions you'd consider most useful. They will then take this feedback and ensure that it gets represented our product team evaluates what additional capabilities would be most useful to our customer base.

  ### 11. Fintech Operations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

User friendly low code interface, ability to visualise decision flows, ability to speed up iteration on risk scorecards, highly reponsive customer support

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

Nothing particular to mention at this point in time

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taktile allows to visualise and better structure credit decision flows; it also speeds up iteration on risk scorecards

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you for this review - and I'm happy to read that our focus on enabling the domain experts by providing them with a clean and simply user interface to then build complex and powerful decision flows hits your mark!

  ### 12. A mordern and evolving decision engine built and supported by a team with ever growing capacity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

Their products are ever evolving. Since we started using their decision engine, they have launched two new components: a human-in-the-loop manual review process workflow and a sign-off workflow.
The team is very supportive. They very helpfully tuned up and down their support capacity based on our release schedules.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

We have not experienced any downside of using Taktile.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Taktile as a Decision Engine to automate our Credit product underwriting decision.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you for this review! We fully believe in co-designing with our customers what exactly a "next-generation" AI decision platform will need to be. Ultimately we'll learn that together as we built and iterate it.

  ### 13. Decisioning Excellence

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jared K. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

Really enjoyed working with the team from initial meeting all the way through POC, implementation, and beyond. Their support far exceeds the industry standard and they truly are innovators in the space. Use cases are much expanded via Taktile to help our business grow.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

Haven't had any negative experience as all has been very positive.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Decisioning @ scale!

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you Jared for this review! Great to read that you've had a good experience all the way through, including the POC. We always recommend to potential to go through a solid POC with us - particularly if you're evaluating multiple vendors.

  ### 14. Versatile decision design platform that allows you to act fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ilia E. | Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

Taktile allows our company to build a variety of risk, compliance and many other decisions in a way that is understandable for both technical and business users.
It enables teams to collaborate on visually comprehensible logic and make immediate amendments. Taktile's decision history provides analytics for continuous data-driven improvement.
The ease of testing and the release process enables faster iterations and releases, while traffic management allows us to gradually transition between different flow versions or test new hypotheses.
Taktile is easy to integrate and start building, all the necessary nodes are in place and more are constantly coming as Taktile continues developing based on customers' feedback. Taktile always values any feedback given and the level of Customer Support is very high as it feels that customer's success is very important for Taktile!

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

Taktile is a low-code solution and trying to implement extremely complex logic in Taktile is possible, but it might be underutilising the core values that the platform brings to users which are visibility, transparency and easy iterations.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy implementation of decisioning methodologies in an accessible form.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you Ilia for this review! I loved reading how your company is implementing the concept of fast, data-driven iteration of risk decisions to enable outperforming the status quo. You mentioned a variety of features that we consider mission critical for this next-gen typ of a risk decision platform. And please always keep your customer success manager in the loop on specific ideas how to further enhance the end to end experience and maximize the value the platform delivers.

  ### 15. An unmatched platform with a stellar team to go with it

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

1) Platform: the Taktile platform has blown us away in terms of depth of functionality, ease of use, ease of integration, and reliability. After vetting many decisioning solutions (in-house and external), we knew that we could 10x our rate of credit model development and minimize our reliance on precious engineering resources with Taktile as we iterate and deploy. Taktile has met all of our needs and more, and our credit team is now deploying new models consistently with confidence.

2) People: during a sales process, it's difficult to know whether you're getting special treatment to get to contract signatures, or if the company really takes customer support and engagement seriously. With Taktile, now many months after go-live, we're still receiving incredible support from the entire team and couldn't be happier. Our dedicated team is responsive, knowledgeable, and truly feels like an extension of our team internally. They "walk the walk" when it comes to the level of customer success.

3) Innovation: Taktile is at the cutting edge of decisioning automation. After meeting with the team many times over a number of quarters, we were convinced that the company is built differently. They listen to their customers, they set expectations clearly, they build and test carefully, and they deliver. Between the time of our first interaction and contract signature, the Taktile team had already built and deployed several useful features that we could use right out of the box at the time of implementation. The pace of innovation on the platform has kept up since we launched, and we're now considering many different potential use cases for using Taktile to improve our business decisioning.

We're thrilled about our partnership with Taktile, and we look forward to many years of mutual success.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

As of now, nothing to note. I am not a daily power user, so my colleagues may have small nit-picks .

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taktile has enabled us to:
1) build and maintain our underwriting logic without engineering intervention
2) avoid building costly in-house decision engine solutions
3) automate our application decisioning for the first time
4) shorten application turnaround time

This has benefitted by allowing us to deploy more complex credit models with ease (enabling improved customer selection), freeing up engineering resources for other critical projects, and improving our customer experience and operational efficiency with automation.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you Joe for this great review! I loved hearing that you experienced not just a great sales process but the equivalent onboarding and ongoing support. And, in your words, being an "extension of your team" is exactly what we're aiming for. We believe the decision platform space is ripe for the next generation of solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible. If you have specific ideas or observations, please always keep your customer success manager in the loop. The only way to get there is by working hand in hand with our customers to co-develop what it takes to rethink and go beyond status quo.

  ### 16. A thoroughly rewarding partnership

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

Their product is incredibly intuitive and easy to use. On the rare occasion that we've run into issues, the team are always on hand to help and are extremely responsive regardless of the time of day.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

As Taktile is a relatively young company, there are some product features/capabilities that are yet to be developed. That being said, the team are very receptive to feedback and will always attempt to prioritise what's important for us.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Taktile for our onboarding decisioning and underwriting process. Since we migrated to Taktile, the iteration speed for our credit policy has increased immeasurably and we can be much more intelligent with our experimentation and optimisation startegy.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you for this review! It's great to read that you feel you can fully rely on our team to be there for you when needed. And as we'll continue to push the boundaries of what the next-gen decision platforms will look like I do encourage you to share any thoughts on either new feature ideas or gaps for your current processes with your customer success manager so they can make sure to prioritize them on our product roadmap for you.

  ### 17. Flexibility in risk decisioning, allowing us to build and iterate decisions quickly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

Taktile effectively combines powerful decisioning capabilities with an inuitive user experience more effectively than others I have observed in the market.

It was quick to set up and begin using, both as as a result of the quality of the design and the excellent customer support received throughout the process.

It has also been great that over the past year working with Taktile that we have seen consistent delivery of new features that closely align with our needs - it is reassuring as a customer when a company is delivering real value to you on a consistent and frequent basis.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

There are some challenges with testing - while testing capabilities are strong, it is somewhat admin intensive to set up tests for more complex decision flows, particularly involving custom connections.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us to build and iterate risk decisions quickly, across Credit and Fraud use cases.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you for your review! It's great to hear that our user experience is continuing to set us apart from other vendors in this space - as our core vision is to fully empower the domain experts. On that thought I'd encourage you to share any ideas how the testing UI & workflows could be enhance with your customer success manager. We're constantly looking for user feedback as we're thinking about how to further increase the value our platform delivers.

  ### 18. Taktile provides a great low-code platform for various decision workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

User-friendly system for building decisioning workflows. Easy way to build third-party integrations. Clean and simple deployment and rollout. Workflow versioning. Responsive and friendly support.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

On sandbox environment, we're sometimes facing AWS lambda cold start issues.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Business and tech friendly decisioning workflow.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you for your review! It's great to see that our aspiration to fully empower domain experts shows in your experience. As to the issue with the sandbox environment I definitely suggesting bringing this up with your customer success manager to learn more about what might cause this.

  ### 19. Taktile has made building decision workflows and integrating apps a breeze.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2024

The Taktile team's guidance and the software's capbilities are a formidable combination that empowered our team to efficiently streamline their workflow creation process saving time and effort when processing loan applications.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

We haven't had any negative experiences thus far.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taktile is automating some of the more rote decisioning done by our KYC and KYB partners as well as simplifying the way in which we express and apply credit policy.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

  ### 20. My experience building a lending flow in taktile

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ikenna U. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

contains alot of features , the interface is quite intuitive and easy to use , intergration of third party connections is pretty straight forward as well. user support from the taktile team was top notch, they were present every step of the way providing guidance on best practices and answersing questions and concerns about the platorm

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

testing is a bit cumbersome , as u have to test the flow end to end, even when all you want to test is a connection or just a piece of logic. at the end of an applicaiton , you can not tell if it was declined or approved based on the decision history , also the decisionid is not part of the response returned by an application in taktile

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

easy to follow and implement decision rules for our organisation. a simple interface that encourages collaboration of different team members. easy integration of third party connections and ability to create flexible decision logic. time to production of new rules have been greatly reduced as the application is very user friendly. also in terms analytics taktile has a UI that gives an overview of all the decisions made daily on the platform and status of the decision , successful or error. you can easly track the decision success rate of applications. we use taktile mainly for our lending products, approving loans and declining loan applications of undesired customers, taktile helps with quick response time to customers applying for loans.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you Ikenna, both for your review and being a customer. It's great to see you highlighting the collaboration features we've built with the intent to really empower the subject matter experts to use the system and iterate on their ideas quickly - all based on analytics & data and without the need for dev resources.

I forwarded your feedback on testing to our product team as there are quite some features scheduled on our roadmap in the short term to further enhance this area of our platform. Please also make sure to always loop in your customer success manager with any enhancement ideas to ensure they can represent your voice during our product feature prioritization sessions.

  ### 21. Enables sophisticated credit policies for a small tech team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barbara N. | Senior Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

- Implementation and ongoing support is unmatched. We have had the same POC through the duration of our engagement. They feel like a member of our team: super responsive; very knowledgable; and proactive. Taktile made training and getting our MVP up and running painless.
- Easy to use and excellent documentation.
- Reliable (never had an outage or major issue)
- Integrating Taktile with our underwriting tech stack acclerated our credit risk roadmap by at least a year and removed significant mainteannce burden long term

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

Roles and permissions are lacking a bit. Woudl be nice to have a "developer" role in between Admin and Editor that allows access to generate API tokens in production without poviding full admin access.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a small and resource constrained engineering team; leveraging Taktile acclerated our credit risk roadmap by at least a year.
1. Enables sophisticated credit risk decision model(s) that our manual review team could not have executed
2. Accelerates time to dedcision application
3. Automates decisions for 85% of applications (previously 100% of applications required manual decision)
4. Enables multiple policies to be running to allow A/B testing or shadow testing
5. Enables credit risk model adjustments and launch with zero engineering effort

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you for being a customer and this thoughtful review! I loved reading " They feel like a member of our team" - this is exactly what we're aiming for. We've been closely in touch with our customers to build the decision platform needed today and tomorrow exactly the way users need it to excel on their own journeys. I've already forwarded the idea for a develop role to R&D - but please also make sure your customer success manager knows about your requirements here as they have a lot of influence in manifesting the voice of the customer when it comes to our product roadmap.

  ### 22. Taktile is a solid orchestration platform and a strong competitor to incumbent players!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sidharth S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

1. Taktile's sales, integration, and support teams are in sync. It makes the transition from pre-sales > post sales very easy and smooth.
2. Their engineering team moves quickly. We've seen features that we've requested get deployed within a few weeks.
3. Their account support team listens to our pain points and finds workarounds in the current product while they build things out more formally.
4. They are willing to work closely with us and really embody the fact that our success is their success and vice versa.
5. Month to Month contract.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

1. Taktile is still up and coming. It's newer so it's still catching up to some of the challengers in the market. E.g., they just built out the DWH connection, which has been in the market for atleast a year if not longer. This is one of those pivotal features that make orchestration platforms effective. But I have confidence they will get there quickly!

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taktile provides an orchestration platform for us to make customer decisons pertaining to product access and product use.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you Sidharth, both for having been a valuable voice on our journey on how to maximize the value of our solution for real-life customer scenarios as well as for your thorough review here! Happy to read you mentioning the fast & iterative approach we're following in how to leverage customer experience and voice to then build exactly the features needed to make our solution highly valuable. We're excited to continue this journey with you and unlock many more super interesting use cases by building the right features to truly master them!

  ### 23. Effective tool for enabling business users

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

Taktile has allowed our team of business users to very quickly and easily make updates to model logic with no effort needed from engineers (aside from initial setup). Our time from ideation to production has gone from weeks to hours. This has allowed our logic to adapt to match the business needs in an incredibly efficient way. Taktile employees are all very friendly and responsive. They put a lot of effort into making sure we are comfortable using the product, and really incorporate any feedback we have into future product releases.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

Sometimes testing and re-running decisions can take some time to load.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taktile allows us to make product offering decisions on customers in real-time, and allows us to easily change our logic as needed (as opposed to requesting enineering make changes to code).

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you for this review! I'm happy to read that you're getting the core value, the ability to do fast iteration and unlock your creative potential to maximize the value your decision workflows provide to your business. And please keep your CS counterpart in the loop on any concerns on loading times, etc. as well as any additional ideas on how the overall solution could be even more valuable to you.

4. We have been using Taktile for 18 months now. Have never faced any outage or system disruption of any sorts.
5. Their Low code and No code stuff is amazing. It becomes super easy for non-technical people to work on the platform and make live changes to the policies.
6. Very futurstic and always eveolving.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

There is nothing yo dislike. Whatever they do not have gets built in no time.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taktile is helping Novo to run our Underwriting decisions and policies on their platform. They also provide the ability to host our underwriting data models on their platform seamlessly.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you, Shikhar, for your review and all the details you provided here! And I'm glad you already experienced what we internally strive towards when thinking about how to drive "customer success". Without your expertise and voice the solutions we're building would not be half as good - so please continue to leverage your CS team to surface any new opportunities to continue pushing the boundaries.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

Great and quick customer support via Slack

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tilta uses Taktile to automate branching Risk algorithms for our core product. We use Taktile during customer onboarding, KYC and order checkout.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you for your review, Vadim! It's great to see our approach to build a powerfully simple decision platform is living up to your expectations. And if you have specific ideas how to enhance our real-time collaboration features even more please don't hesitate to share with your customer success manager. ### 26. The Easiest Software Decision You Can Make

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

Aside from their excellent and easy to use software, the difference with Taktile is that they truly care about their users. Their support staff truly go above and beyond anything else I have ever seen. Simply put, they are fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

I am filling this out because I am required to, but there is really nothing.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taktile has helped us scale our underwriting flows and our transaction monitoring flows for our lending and payments operations.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you for your review and I'm happy to hear that our support and customer successful lives up to your standards.

  ### 27. Next generation of fully integrated risk process management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ingmar S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

The ability non-technical users to iterate fast through user-friendly design, test and deployment brings our risk management to the next level. Being a working-capital lender providing short-term financing, the ability to act fast on environmental changes is key to our risk management. Taktile basically cuts out engineering from the equation and allows us to bring process changes to production in no time.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

There is nothing to not like. Surely, the more off-the-shelf data integrations Taktile adds over time, the more valuable it will be for quickly scaling businesses, especially such that constantly experiment with new data sources while venturing into new segments, new geographies, or new products.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We integrate with third-party data sources through taktile. We design and iterate our decision processes on taktile. We deploy and operate our decision processes on taktile. We manage manual (human) fall-back decisions through taktile.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you for this review, Ingmar! It's great to read that you've seen our core idea realizing already: The ability for non-technical users to leverage a powerfully simple platform to design decisions and run data-driven iterations at scale to maximize performance. And as you phrased it, there is so much value in being able to experiment with new data sources via our pre-built integrations as you test new ideas for further performance enhancements. Please never hold back letting your customer success manager know whether there are any specific data sources you encounter that we might not yet have pre-built integrations for but that would be useful for your experiments. Our product roadmap is very much guided by the voice of our customers!

  ### 28. Taktile pushes business decision model to the next stage

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

Taktile enables business logic to be updated in timely manner instead of waiting for engineering resources, thus helping us to grow and adapt to the market more effectively

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

Nothing that I can think of. You will love working with the Taktile team because they take your feedback very seriously!

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Business logic launch and update. Taktile reduces the need of waiting for engineering resources to launch business logic updates in the product, and the UI helps non-engineers to navigate very easily.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you for your review! I'm glad to read that we seem to live up to our core promise: To give our customers agility for their decision design and the ability to interact with data to continuously enhance performance. And please continue to keep your success manager in the loop on any new ideas or use cases you like to tackle as we do - as you wrote - take customer feedback very seriously!

  ### 29. Empowering Business Autonomy with Visual Intuitiveness

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

Taktile excels with its visual interface, fostering a quick learning curve for users. It empowers business teams to autonomously apply policies, backed by clear documentation and responsive technical support. The Taktile team's commitment to innovation and openness to feedback enhances its overall value.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

- We can´t create global functions to use on the entire flow
- In more complex workflows, Taktile experiences occasional performance lags.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taktile is addressing our challenges by providing autonomy in crafting decision workflows, allowing us to navigate and adapt to changing policies with ease. The tool's user-friendly interface empowers us to make alterations seamlessly, reducing the dependency on technical teams for implementation. This autonomy not only streamlines our decision-making processes but also enhances our agility in responding to policy changes, ultimately fostering a more efficient and self-sufficient operational environment.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you for your review! It's great to read that our approach to building the decision engine that is powerfully simple hits the mark on your experience with our visual interface and clear documentation. And, after checking with our product team, I'm glad to share that global functions are already on our roadmap, so stay tuned on this one. On the performance lags I'd encourage you to reach out to your customer success manager if you feel this hasn't been addressed yet as latency and app performance are continuous, key priorities for us. Ultimately your voice matters most to us as our goal is to truly enable your business agility by enabling data-driven decision design at scale.

  ### 30. Well positioned decision orchestration engine for SMB focused financiers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

It is just so easy to use! The interface is super intuitive, I like the separation of sandox and production environments for experimental purposes, and access to customer support is only an email away.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

No downsides as of now, but do think continuous expansion of pre-built integrations is key.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taktile took us from working in elaborate excel files of heuristical models to a proper decision engine that can track, measure, and efficiently operate our underwriting.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you for your review! And I love reading that we've been successful in allowing your team to elevate your decision design processes by tapping into advanced capabilities to interactively work with your data and maximize your decision quality continuously. And as to the pre-built integration, please always keep your customer success manager posted on any needs you have for integrations we might not have yet. We're always using our customer's voice to prioritize what we should add to our product roadmap next!

  ### 31. Fantastic workflow tool for KYC/underwriting and transaction monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

We love the team at Taktile, they're the vendor we compare everyone else to.

Their product is powerful but easy to understand, and exactly what we needed.

We used Alloy previously and never made changes ourselves because it's... <gestures to all of Alloy>. With Taktile we're able to visualize the flow in a much more intuitive way, and make changes confidently.

The team is extraordinarily responsive and collaborative. In our first few months on the product there's been meaningful progress on new functionality we hadn't expected that will unlock more use cases.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

No notes. Love these guys and couldn't recomend them highly enough.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taktile provides our decision workflow for KYC, which integrates with multiple vendors, as well as sendgrid to send notifications as necessary. It's trivial to add another vendor.

Because Taktile also allows you to go nuts and embed your own code (python) we're able to easily transform data where necessary, for example when composing slack alerts or customer emails based on outcomes.

Taktile's manual review flow is exactly what our team needs, and allowed us to customize the experience for risk agents who are evaluating applications.

Taktile comes with a good number of out of the box integrations, but also allows us to easily create our own custom api connections.

We're also using Taktile for real time transaction monitoring, where we can run proposed transactions through a set of automated rules, run queries against historical data, and flag transactions for manual review.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you for your thorough review! There is a lot in here and we're so happy to see that we've earned our place in your infrastructure stack - both as a technology but also as a customer-centric team. As you seem to have experienced based on your writeup we love learning directly from our customers when it comes to additional pain points they like to solve or other use cases they like to use our platform for. We value providing both transparency as well as flexibility to provide a platform that can grow with any current and future business needs for decisions all across the customer lifecycle.

  ### 32. A perfect solution for underwriting decisions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

We can easily implement complicated decision making process without spending costly resources on developing the infrastructure. This allows us to focus on steering our business to drive growth in a timely manner.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

No downsides on Taktile but a contingency plan is probably needed for continuous operations.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taktile helps us deploy our decision flow faster to evaluate the risk characteristics of user so that we can more focus on business strategy, instead of implementation and operations.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you for this review! We're happy to see that our solution helps you to focus on what matters most to you. As to the idea of a contingency plan we'd love to learn more about your ideas on that topic - do you mind reaching out to your customer success manager and share your thoughts so we can learn more about this?

  ### 33. Taktile has been a joy to work and integrate with

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

The UI is very intuitive and easy to understand, there is a slight learning curve if you've never worked with a visual workflow tool but the docs (including the tutorial) are very helpful. Technical support has been awesome! They are very responsive to queries and questions, and every time we've asked about a missing feature, it's already on the roadmap, soon to be delivered. Integrating with the engine has been the easiest part of the overall project that led us to purchase Taktile.

I also assisted with the implementation of workflows, and it found it very easy to do. There are multiple ways to combine nodes to deliver the functionality you might want, but support was always there chat about pros and cons and even provide a first pass if we were stuck. It's been a great partnership.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

There's nothing glaring that comes to mind. I feel confident that anything that might come up in the future can be addressed with support and they will work on helping.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a flexible, configurable decision engine that did not rely on having engineering resources available, but was powerful enough to handle increasing complexity as we grow.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you for this review! It's great to see that our conscious efforts to create a decision engine that is powerfully simple hits the mark in terms of your UI expectations. And as you know, we're are constantly looking for customer feedback on where we can make the end-to-end solution even more valuable, so I'm also glad to read that you've been already in touch with our team to get your feature requests prioritized on our roadmap.

  ### 34. Easy implementation and great onboarding

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robin K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

- easy implementation
- great support
- good documentation
- configure the flow on ur own
- lot of connectors

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

- need some experience with working with variables
- doesn't check spelling mistakes in parameters

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy onboarding of different solvency checks without using own it consultants

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you for this review, Robin!

  ### 35. Novo Excels with Taktile

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

With Taktile, Novo embraced automated decisioning which is critical to achieve Novo’s goal of eliminating the back-office burdens of small businesses. By partnering with Taktile, Novo benefited from Taktile’s extensive integrations and deep expertise in structuring complex, customer impacting workflows. Our customers get results immediately, replacing lengthy, burdensome manual reviews and inconsistent judgement calls. And the control is put in the hands of business owners (experts in their job, but not engineers), so we do not need to update our codebase when an immediate update to our decisions is required. The level of oversight, support, and guidance has been exceptional. Taktile is truly part of the team at Novo.

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

Nothing. We needed a decision engine with complimentary technology to Novo's and got much more in our choice of Taktile.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating manual review of customer banking transactions
Automating underwriting

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you, Andrew! Both for this review and as well as for being such a great partner. We really appreciate the honor to be considered an extension of your team and we're excited about the shared journey ahead of us!

  ### 36. New generation of credit decisioning engine

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Taktile?**

Flexible data structure, wast coverage of data integrations (include very local providers for smaller markets), easy integration

**What do you dislike about Taktile?**

Found no downsides so far - company is evolving quickly and whenever we were missing a feature (e.g. a specific connection) they added it within weeks.

**What problems is Taktile solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We started developing an inhouse decision engine, but found after a year that they effort of maintaining and further development the software was not efficient. Looked at a range of vendors then and settled for Taktile after longer due diligence by our risk, tech and compliance/security teams and a proof-of-concept phase. The integration was done quickly, as the platform allows you to customize the API. We started with credit decisioning for one product and market and then quickly extended to coverage of all markets and products. Now we are moving compliance and KYC/KYB checks as well as ongoing monitoring to the platform. While they market Taktile as a credit decision engine, it allows you to also build compliance, onboarding, monitoring as well as fraud flows.

**Official Response from Stefan Nandzik:**

> Thank you for writing our very first customer review here on G2! As you know and shared we're super focus on the success of our customers and hence their voice is what matters most to us as we steer our product roadmap. I love that you pointed out the other use cases you've been rolling out after your initial launch. As you noticed, we're just about to update this in our go to market messaging & website as well right now. Again, thank you for being our first reviewer here!
