Open a PDF or a CAD drawing (PDF, DWG, DXF, DWFx), or a photo or scan of a drawing (JPG, PNG, TIFF), set the scale once, and trace what you need: areas in square metres, lengths in running metres, counts, and angles in degrees. A length can run in separate pieces, so a wall or kerb that stops and starts is still one item. On CAD drawings and vector PDFs you can click a line or a room outline that already exists in the drawing and the whole path is measured at once, with none of the clicking error that comes from tracing corner by corner. Every marking goes into a take-off group – floor finishes, walls, doors – with its own colour and running total, and every item keeps a permanent reference number. Tick quantities off as you check them or flag them as queries; the list keeps score. Click any quantity in the list and the drawing opens on that marking, so checking a take-off is one click per line. Export to Excel or CSV with totals per group, or copy rows straight into the measurement sheet you already use. Print the marked-up drawing to PDF with a legend, in colour, greyscale or monochrome.
