What problems is Tailscale solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a way to access devices from outside of our internal network. Tailscale greatly simplified and improved this system, especially with their DERP relays, which allow firewalled devices to connect to the same network. Previously, we used Wireguard/OpenVPN to do this. We needed this system because Wireguard provided speed advantages, and OpenVPN could be run on TCP port 80 (to get around most firewalls). Additionally, tailscale was a 'subnet router' that allows the entire internal network to be exposed with only one tailscale-connected device. This allows for seamless connection with out internal servers from anywhere in the world. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
