"Streamlines Hybrid Work Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Tactic?

For me, the standout feature is the interactive office map coupled with the Colleague Looker functionality. I find it incredibly intuitive to just look at the floor plan and immediately identify where specific people are stationed, which is a massive time saver for management. If I need to have a quick word with an employee, I can just check Tactic and see where they are instead of pinging them on Slack or waiting for a reply. It brings back that organic water cooler style of management that was almost lost during the move to full-time remote work. The initial setup has been quite easy for me and our team, without any significant challenges, and I'm quite happy with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tactic?

If I had to point out a downside, it's the friction of the login process. It can feel a bit repetitive to have to manually log in separately just to check a dashboard or a schedule when I'm already logged into 10 other work applications. I think the experience would be significantly smoother if there were deeper integrations with the tools we already use for our daily clock-in or employee tracking. Having to jump between different platforms just to prove I'm at work feels a bit redundant, and it's one area where the workflow feels like it hasn't quite caught up to the rest of the app's streamlined design. "Perfect Hub for Hybrid Workspace Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Tactic?

I really appreciate the mobile flexibility Tactic offers; it's a huge win for me. I can check my schedule while on the go or during my morning commute, and the responsive mobile app makes it incredibly easy to snag a desk last minute or check my room number without pulling out my laptop. Tactic serves as my primary hub for managing my hybrid work week and is crucial for coordinating when my project team will be on-site. It basically acts as a daily dashboard, helping me manage small task assignments and ensuring resources are allocated correctly for team events. Tactic also tackles the problem of lack of visibility in a flexible office by centralizing the schedule and solving operational headaches like space waste, reducing the guessing game of office management and minimizing operational overhead costs. I also really value the workspace visualization—being able to see a digital map of the office layout rather than just a list of names or desk numbers helps me understand the physical flow of the team for the day. It makes the coordination feel much more natural and less like a data entry task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tactic?

The navigation isn't always as simplistic as it could be. There were some growing pains when I first started using it because some of the menus are not immediately intuitive. It took me a bit of trial and error to figure out where certain task management settings are. I also occasionally run into the odd booking error, like the system showing a space as available when it's actually under maintenance or double booked. While it's not a deal breaker, the UI definitely has a few cranky corners that could use a bit more polish. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplified Office Space Management with Tactic"
5/5
What do you like best about Tactic?

I love that the interface offers ease and is easily the best part of the whole platform. I also appreciate how Tactic eliminates unpredictability in office capacity by giving me a real-time view of the floor plan, which reduces office anxiety. It resolved the administrative nightmare for our leader by letting them track office utilization, helping us adjust space allocation based on actual data rather than guessing. The Slack integration is a game changer because I get a little ping every morning telling me which desk is reserved, so I don't have to open the Tactic app to remember where I'm sitting. Additionally, the setup was significantly faster and we didn't have to go through long training sessions to book a space. Plus, the pricing of Tactic is a lot more transparent for our midsized team. The interactive office map is easily the best part of the whole platform. It’s not just a static list of numbers; I can actually see a visual layout of our floor and see exactly where my work-bestie or my manager has parked themselves for the day. Being able to click a desk on a 2D map and see it turn green for "reserved" feels much more intuitive than the old spreadsheet system we tried to use. I also really value the "check-in" feature—having to scan a QR code or confirm presence via the app means that if someone doesn't show up by 10:00 AM, their desk gets released back into the pool for someone else to use. What do you dislike about Tactic?

The mobile app's performance is spotty when the Wi-Fi isn't great. It sometimes takes forever to load the map, which is frustrating when you're just trying to start your day. I also wish there was more flexibility in the scheduling booking rules. I'd like to book a room for every other Wednesday, but the current setup doesn't allow for that. Lastly, the notification system can be a bit much, repeatedly reminding you even if you're already at your desk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Desk Booking, Needs UI Simplification"
4/5
What do you like best about Tactic?

I use Tactic to book a desk or meeting room before coming in, so I don't have to wander around wondering where to sit. It solves the hybrid work mess where people show up and can't find a desk. With Tactic, we can book seats or meeting rooms beforehand to avoid any conflict. I like how it stops double bookings, shows real-time availability, and avoids the awkward 'sorry, we booked this room' moment. The initial setup was super easy, which was a relief. What do you dislike about Tactic?

Sometimes the UI/UX feels cluttered, and I think it can be improved for a better workflow. It has many columns to select before actually booking the desk or meeting rooms, which I feel can be streamlined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Teams & Slack Integration with Instant Desk Booking"
4/5
What do you like best about Tactic?

I like very much that Tactic is being quite integrated with Microsoft Teams and Slack. I love that being a DevOps engineer I can book my desk from chat itself without me opening browser to book it. Very smooth, user friendly interactive office map. The sync is instantaneous and I never see anything except correct status. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tactic?

The app is slowly loading the floor map at times when our internet is going in and out. Also, the admin settings for setting up new office zones are a little bit confusing on first time setup. I wish they had better API docs for grabbing booking data for our internal dashboards! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Hybrid Workplace Management, Needs Better Map Clarity"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Tactic?

I use Tactic for hybrid workplace management. It helps us coordinate office days, avoid space conflicts, and collaborate more easily. I like that it removes uncertainty like I know I’ll have a desk or room before I reach the office. It's easy to use, booking takes seconds with no need for training or back-and-forth emails. It saves time for me. The initial setup was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tactic?

For large offices with many floors or rooms, the maps and navigation can feel a bit cluttered or overwhelming. There's too much information at once, making it hard to quickly find an available desk or a specific meeting room when all desks, rooms, and amenities are displayed. Response from Chris Barcus of Tactic

Thank you for your review! We’re glad you find it helpful to see where everyone sits and who plans to be in the office.

Tactic supports booking as far into the future as needed, but each organization can choose its own advance-booking limits. The restriction you’re experiencing is based on your organization’s current settings, so we recommend sharing that feedback with your workplace administrator.

If there’s anything else we can do to improve your experience with Tactic, please reach out to us at support@gettactic.com. We’re always happy to help!
