## Systemware Reviews
  ### 1. Intuitive, Flexible UI with Exceptional Systemware Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Systemware?**

Systemware's UI can be as intuitive or as technical as the end user chooses. Typically, we just give the users the basic 'getting started' directions which is suffice for a user to do their job. However, there are other users that have a nature to go above that and the UI tool provides a platform for that type of user to explore and advance at their own pace and discovery.

Technical Support for Systemware is second to none. I work with them often and you can tell they not only love their job, helping a customer, but treat the product as an ever changing and advancing asset to their product suite. They definitely show a desire to keep abreast of emerging technologies.

**What do you dislike about Systemware?**

To support Systemware from a customer standpoint, it can take multiple skillsets (end user functions, mainframe, web, linux, security, etc). Especially so when support involves installs, upgrades or problem resolution. So, the business customer needs to be inclusive/involve those that have these skillsets or have person familiar with these skills.

Enter Cabnit Cloud Hosting which can relieve the business customer of the weight of these skills.

**What problems is Systemware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are currently using Systemware tools to simplify and modernize report management within our organization.

**Official Response from Lindsay Hendricks:**

> Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! I'm so glad to hear your team is benefitting from our flexible UI, providing the users with what they need, when they need it. And I love hearing about positive encounters with our Support team. We pride ourselves on high-level, efficient customer support and helping provide solutions through an experienced, knowledgeable team. Thank you again!

  ### 2. Powerful Functionality Backed by Great Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Systemware?**

I love that you can store data as a text file while still letting the end user choose the format they want to view it in. I also like being able to search across multiple document names to retrieve data, and our users really appreciate the saved search options. There are a lot of neat functions too, like getting a notification when a new version of a report is available. You can also create a bundle so new versions are sent directly to your email, which means you don’t have to log into the system every time. Another helpful feature is the ability to highlight and view multiple versions within a single search. I could go on and on—overall, it’s a very user-friendly product, and the Systemware team does a great job with training as well.

About the team: very easy to work with. They are attentive to your needs and do their best to deliver. Even if something needs to be refined, they are with you every step of the way. While migrating to this platform we had weekly meetings and a very detailed and clear path to get to our destination. A great solution indeed.

**What do you dislike about Systemware?**

Better logging for those of us who are not so technical so we could better determine the issue and the right path to take for a solution.

**What problems is Systemware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better retrieval rates for users. It also allows us to create documentation and video tutorials that live within the platform, which reduces the need for one-on-one training. We can broadcast messages to users when the system is down for maintenance. With our previous system, there was weekly downtime for backups, but with Systemware that isn’t necessary, so processing can continue as normal on night shifts and weekends.

Systemware also lets us create extraction templates, so business units that compare products—such as what is selling well or what might need attention—can extract the data to a CSV with the click of a button instead of spending hours formulating it. In addition, we can retrieve data from other systems, which has saved hours of work for some of our business units.

  ### 3. Systemware has been fantastic to work with. I truly appreciate the one on one support they provide.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Systemware?**

Working with the team and feeling like we are the most important and only customer they have. They offer solutions !!! And take the time to understand our objectives and challenges and bring solutions and options to consider.

**What do you dislike about Systemware?**

Systemware has been great to work with if there is anything negative to say, they probably need a bigger team to deal with all the work we are doing with them.

**What problems is Systemware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Systemware
To consolidate all of our imaging in addition to 7Reports. We are
Building and using Systemware as our EDMS.

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Systemware?**

The software is powerful, easy to use, and the support team is top-notch. My experience has been incredible, from the proof of concept stage through to the current deployment. They have handled every challenge with professionalism and expertise.

**What do you dislike about Systemware?**

So far, there’s nothing I dislike. Everything represents a significant improvement over the product we’re currently using. I’m looking forward to UAT starting so our users can experience just how powerful this tool will be.

**What problems is Systemware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It offers users a better experience when it comes to reviewing and presenting reports.

**Official Response from Lindsay Hendricks:**

> Thank you for the positive feedback. We're glad everything is going so smoothly and that you're already seeing improvement! We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and hope all continues to go well.

  ### 5. Rock solid reliability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tony V. | Sr. Manager Enterprise Applications, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Systemware?**

The best thing about Systemware is their responsiveness. Whenever I have a question or the rare issue they are quick to respond. I know they have other business relationships, but they make me feel like their number one priority.

**What do you dislike about Systemware?**

I get quite a bit if value from the user conferences because I learn about capabilities they offer. They have more than I am aware of and I don't want to miss out.

**What problems is Systemware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hosting and organization of our data and imaging is a big job that Systemware is refining and optimizing. It's a huge improvement over our legacy systems.

**Official Response from Lindsay Hendricks:**

> We are thrilled to hear that you find our responsiveness to be a standout quality. We strive to make all of our customers feel like a top priority. Thank you for taking time to leave a review.

  ### 6. Systemware saves the day

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** jana R. | Senior Analyst (SME - Content Management), Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Systemware?**

How the product offering has expanded and improved over the past decades, plus the go forward, very positive interaction with systemware staff.

**What do you dislike about Systemware?**

For me, no downsides or dislikes. Systemware, while not FreeWare, has been very much worth its cost in improved report and document processing and data control and accuracy

**What problems is Systemware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have extremely large report output from legacy batch processing and also a high volume of documents. Systemware organizes and gives us the control we need over this important data

**Official Response from Lindsay Hendricks:**

> It's great to hear that Systemware has been able to provide the organization and control you need for the high volume you process. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to support your needs.

Their support has been great. Any time I need to work with one of their technicians, they are professional and knowledgeable. The software fits many solutions, and is extremely customizable for unique problems.

**What do you dislike about Systemware?**

As an engineer, I haven't had any negative experiences with Systemware.

**What problems is Systemware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Systemware gives us a one-stop shop for managing, indexing, and administering our image/text files from a variety of sources, while also being an integration that helps our members access these files via API.

**Official Response from Lindsay Hendricks:**

> Thank you for your positive feedback. Customer support is priority for us, and we're glad you're getting the assistance you need to get the most out of our software. We really appreciate you taking the time to leave a review, thank you!

  ### 12. Systemware Content Cloud Enterprise Content Management: An Admin's Perspective

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Systemware?**

Our company has been utilizing Systemware products for several years and the stability of the product along with the outstanding customer support are keys to that longevity. The frequency of use by our users makes stability critical and Content Cloud has provided that.

**What do you dislike about Systemware?**

Some of the user interface can be cumbersome for users. Additionally the version we are running has some tideous aspects to it which as I understand has been resolved in newer versions of the product.

**What problems is Systemware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking for a solution for ECM that we could move off our mainframe and the Content Cloud product has provided us that as well as giving us new flexability that newer versions of Content Cloud offer.

  ### 13. Systemware Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maggie M. | Client Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Systemware?**

What I like best about Systemware is its ability to seamlessly manage and retrieve large volumes of content, making information easily accessible while ensuring data security and compliance across different environments.

**What do you dislike about Systemware?**

One potential drawback of Systemware is its complex setup and configuration, which can require a significant learning curve for new users or those unfamiliar with the platform’s advanced features.

**What problems is Systemware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Systemware solves the problem of managing and retrieving vast amounts of unstructured data by providing a centralized, efficient content management system. This benefits me by streamlining workflows, reducing the time spent searching for information, and ensuring compliance with data regulations, which leads to improved productivity and easier access to critical content.

Systemware is being used as an archive software for reports and making them searchable

  ### 15. Great Mobius Replacement Option

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patti S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Systemware?**

It allows us to store our data and be able to view it by the whole document or individual documents if the report is indexed.

There are different ways to send files to Content Cloud making it easy to get anything you need in there.

The People working at Systemware are very very very helpful.

This is much more user friendly than our old Mobius interface.

Security can get really granular.

I use this on a daily basis right now, while we are implementing the product.

Over all it has been a pretty smooth implementation and conversion.

**What do you dislike about Systemware?**

I dislike the way some of the screens updated when making changes.
I dislike the way the date fields don't actually give you the same ending date as the start date.

The error reporting for Send to CC
I believe that some of this has been fixed in a newer version than what I have

**What problems is Systemware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allowed us to get off of a very very old version of Mobius,

  ### 16. Content Cloud - Great Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Systemware?**

We've been a Systemware customer for over 30 years using their content management suite of z System software. Recently, we had migrated to Systemware's Enterprise Content Management (Content Cloud) after carefully evaluated it and a few others similar solutions from their competitors.
We are happy to have chosen Content Cloud. It provided features and functionalities meeting all our requirements, and it's user friendly which is very important to our users. Systemware's project implementation team provided excellent services and support. There were several unplanned customizations requested on our side which threw the project timeline off. They worked patiently with us through the whole process.

**What do you dislike about Systemware?**

There is not anything I don't like about Systemware. The sales team, technical support team, project team, contract team, and every one else I worked with were friendly and supportive.

**What problems is Systemware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a content management solution to run on the distributed platform to replace the one on the z platform.

**Official Response from Tee Hill:**

> It's great to hear that Content Cloud has successfully replaced your previous content management solution and is meeting your needs on the distributed platform. We're committed to providing solutions that benefit our customers, and we're pleased to have been able to do so for over 30 years.

  ### 17. Stablity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Systemware?**

I have administered, installed, overseen, assited with, etc... Xpt, Xnet, JHS, and Content Server for around 30 years. The one thing that stands out is the word stability. We don't know the the first level support people at Systemware on a first name basis, and that's a good thing. I can't think of any time in the past decade where we have had to contact support for anything other than a simple question about something we couldn't find in the documentation. The user conferences are pretty good too!

**What do you dislike about Systemware?**

What is not to like about something that works all of the time! I have nothing disparaging to say about the product or the company.

**What problems is Systemware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the beginning it saved us a lot of paper and printing costs. It has now moved to more of a repository where people go for information gathering.

**Official Response from Tee Hill:**

> We appreciate your feedback and are delighted to hear that our products have provided you with the stability and support you need. Thank you for being a valued customer!

  ### 18. Content Cloud Implementation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Systemware?**

The ability to compress content in the new distributed Content Cloud environment has been very beneficial compared to the previous mainframe environment. We achieved compression rates of 85-90%, thus reducing our storage expense. I also appreciated the engagement with Systemware. We shared our objective to reduce mainframe storage costs and they created options for us from the most tactic cost saving option to more long-term strategic options. We were then able to work with Systemware on the best option for us. I truly appreciated their willingness to listen and partner with us.

**What do you dislike about Systemware?**

I'd like to see more progress/integration with Gen AI capabilities. There is a wealth of information stored in our Systemware solution and we'd like to explore ways to interogate that information with Gen AI.

**What problems is Systemware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Systemware to meet regulatory requirements for content retention.

**Official Response from Lauren Caiafa:**

> Thank you for being a Systemware customer and for taking the time to provide your feedback on Systemware’s solution. Customer feedback has long been a priority at Systemware. We are happy to hear that we are helping you meet your regulatory requirements while decreasing your storage costs. With respect to your Content/Report Owner concern, Systemware Content Cloud provides a number of ways to glean metadata from any type of content, including file attributes that often include Author, Department, etc., as you stated. Beyond file attributes, Content Cloud can interrogate every line of the content to define and extract metadata for search and retrieval, categorization, classification and more detailed data analytics. This metadata can be used to assign ownership, to control access rights and is searchable for reports and analysis. We encourage you to contact your Systemware Representative or our Help Desk to discuss possible solutions.

  ### 19. Content management made easy!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Systemware?**

For nearly eight years, I've been part of this Systemware's journey, relying on a content management system. Their platform has significantly eased my work life and those of my collogues, swiftly resolving any issues that arise. Recently, we encountered trouble pulling multiple documents simultaneously, but Systemware promptly introduced the Content Packager. It enabled us to select and download numerous documents into a PDF or zip file, proving invaluable for subpoenas and research requests.

**What do you dislike about Systemware?**

Nothing to dislike. If you have a problem they are eager to find a solution for you.

**What problems is Systemware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My biggest ask was for a way to pull all documents for a particular account when processing a research request. That need was solved with content packager. Being able to process large research request with a few clicks allows my team to work on other projects and needs within our department.

**Official Response from Tee Hill:**

> Thank you for your positive feedback! We are delighted to hear that the Content Packager feature has been invaluable for your subpoenas and research requests. We are committed to continuously improving our platform to meet your needs.

  ### 20. Amazing content management tool for reports and documents

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Systemware?**

Systemware Content Cloud tool migrated and replaced our legacy tool which supports our customer documents and production reports. The team supporting this migration understood the legacy challenges and met the mark to migrate our business processes and content of over 20+ years. Systemware staffing was very knowledgable on capturing our technical and business needs during the implementation.
Content Cloud supports a hybrid of mainframe and distributed platforms to capture a vast array of content types. There are amazing out-of-the-box features that our business users quickly adopted. Content Cloud does have the capabilities of creating Custom Application Modules to support unique business needs that allowed us to replace external custom code during our migration and continue to support with minimal business impacts to existing functionality.

**What do you dislike about Systemware?**

The installation components was a learning curve for our company as we were not strong in Linux/Unix operating systems but there support staff walked us through the entire process and we are much more comfortable with the platform.

If you have an existing solution in place that you are migrating from, be prepared for a long project to capture all the needs. They will help you get there but be realistic with timelines.

**What problems is Systemware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are migrating off all content from our mainframe related to customer documents and reports of over 20+ years.

  ### 21. Systemware CC

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Systemware?**

I have been leading a team that supports Systemware, among other tools, for almost two years. My experience is not "hands-on" with the product, but my observations during this time are that the software is remarkably stable. Leading other teams who support other content management programs, my perception is that Systemware is easier to administer compared to other applications with similar capability. I find that one stand out feature of working with Systemware is the support. The response and engagement of the technical and post sales support teams are excellent. Questions are answered in a timely manner and followup is done to confirm that needs are met.

**What do you dislike about Systemware?**

I have had positive experiences with the product and the Systemware teams. No dislikes readily come to mind.

**What problems is Systemware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Systemware provides accessibility to reports. This solves a need in the environment we use it in.

**Official Response from Tee Hill:**

> We are thrilled to hear that you find Systemware to be remarkably stable and easier to administer compared to other content management programs. Our support team works diligently to provide timely and effective assistance, and we are pleased to hear that you have had excellent experiences with them.

  ### 22. Best and smoothest production transition I've ever been involved in.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Systemware?**

The systemware reporting system is a 100% upgrade in every way to the old system it replaced. Real time collecting, incredible flexibility, very easy to learn interface all backed by an incredible rollout team and support group. Our daily users love using the web based interface over the old mainframe emulation they suffered with.

**What do you dislike about Systemware?**

Programming replacement print bundles to be compatible with ancient mainframe AFP standards was painful but Systemware's excellent team held our hand every step of the way.

**What problems is Systemware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An easy to use interface available company wide to access 1,000s of public and private reports.

  ### 23. Excellent Data/Report Management System

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Warehousing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Systemware?**

Systemware is easy to use and integrate. The user customizable features are intuitive and super helpful.

**What do you dislike about Systemware?**

The only issue I've found, and I'm not certain it is a limitation of Systemware, is the inability to export generated reports in Excel format.

**What problems is Systemware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Migrating away from Infopac to Systemware has dramatically reduced our production of paper waste, as well as significantly improving our ability to research and correct inventory level discrepancies. I would be remiss if I did not mention the reduction of papercuts, as well!

  ### 24. Customization, Scalability, Docker, Cloud Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Systemware?**

Systemware Content Cloud is the replacement for our legacy archiving application. We have been using it for over five years, and it has come a long way since then. Systemware is constantly improving, constantly willing to accept feedback, and consistently seeks to improve user experience. Their support team always tries their best to understand any issues to resolve them as quickly as possible. Compared to our older application, it is much more robust and so much more customizable. Their software's architecture allows for endless possiblilities to solve for just about any business use case.

**What do you dislike about Systemware?**

The dislikes are minimal, and while the application is close to perfect, it does have a few flaws. But I have no doubt that the team is striving to improve them. The application's error handling could use some improvement, and when solving for those errors, it takes a few too many steps to remedy the situation. I know that they are actively working on the software and continue to put out new versions containing enchantments and bug fixes.

**What problems is Systemware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are too many problems to list out that we were trying to overcome with our legacy application when finding this product. However, Systemware hit them all for us and continues to assist us in coming off our old platform. We did benefit from a more hardened and resilient solution for our users.

**What do you like best about Systemware?**

UFCU has worked with Systemware for over 10 years. As the Records Manager for UFCU and as the business relationship manager for Systemware, I have worked with them since the software was installed. Systemware has come a long way in development since the beginning, and they have made many improvements along the way. My organization uses this software to store member documents and reports. This software provides an organizational repository for easy access. The UI is easy to use, and the software allows us to manage the access levels for users. It allows us to set retention dates for deletion. Reports are exportable and searchable. Systemware has been willing to listen to our feedback for what we need and has worked with us to help configure their software to meet those needs. Everyone I have dealt with has been responsive and helpful. I very much enjoy working with Systemware, the team dynamic feels like a family and I've enjoyed the continued partnership we have.

**What do you dislike about Systemware?**

There were things I disliked such as not being able to acces some documents in groupings but that's been fixed - due to our feedback and Systemware responsiviness. At this point I don't have any dislikes.

**Recommendations to others considering Systemware:**

Systemware is an excellent company to work with.

**What problems is Systemware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UFCU uses Systemware to store documents and reports so they are in a searchable, maintainable and controlled storage environment. We recently fixed a problem we were having with retrieving multiple types of documents for the same indiviual. It was resolved very quickly; this allowed users to speed up research making employees happy.

  ### 29. Simplifies Work Life

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shreese D. | Fraud Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Systemware?**

I like how I was able to use it effortlessly and how it was able to keep all of our docs in one place.

**What do you dislike about Systemware?**

I didn't particularly appreciate learning how to use it. Not difficult, but just a slight learning curve.

**What problems is Systemware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems solved were the struggle of keeping all our customer information in one place that was also secure. I have realized the benefit of ease when it comes to this.

  ### 30. Great content management system!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Systemware?**

I have been working with Systemware for more than ten years now, and it has evolved into an excellent product for content management. The upgrade to version 6 was a significant improvement in document management and system administration, The latest cloud version 7 looks even better with more features and greater scalability. What's great about this product is that you can customize it to your business needs since every industry is different.

I like the user interface and how easy it is to tailor the solution to your specifications with the help of Systemware. It's easy to integrate their API with our internal solutions. The team that I've worked with is very knowledgeable about their product and support has been excellent.

**What do you dislike about Systemware?**

Since the solution is highly customizable, you have to work with Systemware to build out custom applications that require service from their Solutions team, and the pricing can be a bit high. I would like to see them provide more training on how to build out these custom apps; however, their self-training library is getting better.

**What problems is Systemware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Systemware to store all our financial documents in the credit union. We have saved many person-hours with automated file processing of documents. The ability to search and retrieve documents with ease for our staff has been invaluable. We are currently working on a solution with Systemware that will enable our staff to package different documents together in one location. This solution will improve productivity and enable staff to focus their time and attention on other important tasks.

  ### 31. Systemware was already in place; can be complex to new users

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Systemware?**

They will answer your questions and teach you so you can understand the system.

**What do you dislike about Systemware?**

Not as user friendly as I would have liked; lots of navigations and tree menus

**What problems is Systemware solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Imaging storage; all images are stored in one central location and integrates with our core system
