SysMLv2 Editor is a Visual Studio Code extension developed by Change Vision, Inc. for creating SysML v2 models in textual notation. It is aimed at systems engineers and development teams who want to keep system models in the same editor they use for code. Key features: - Syntax highlighting for SysML v2 keywords, strings, and comments - Real-time syntax checking with errors and warnings shown in the editor - Navigate to definition for SysML v2 elements - Outline view of the model structure - Optional automatic diagram generation from SysML v2 text, opened with the View Diagram command Licensing: SysMLv2 Editor is not sold separately. It requires a valid license for Astah SysML, Astah System Safety, or the Astah Faculty Site License, and it becomes unavailable when that license expires. A 20-day free trial is available; the trial period is shared with Astah SysML. Limitations: models are not compatible with Astah SysML (SysML v1) data. Change Vision also offers SysMLv2 Modeler, a separate SysML v2 tool in early access.
