Nothing. They do not care about the success of their customers. This is a very shady company. I wish we picked a different vendor for listing management as Synup has cost me tens of thousands of dollars (that didn't translate to value for our clients) and, even worse - hours dealing with their support that only likes to buy time and kick the can down the road. If you run an agency or marketing company, do not use their white-label service. Take it from someone who has used them for years - run, don't walk.
We've put over 500 locations on Synup under two different businesses - and I am ashamed to say we have used them as long as we have, as any other citation manager would have served our clients better. We had had instances where the functionality was entirely broken when we brought a client on it, which left a bad first impression and has led to chargebacks in some cases. They operate with zero transparency and only care about clinging onto every dollar. Synup has improperly billed us in the past for deactivated locations and refused to provide any accounting or itemized invoice, and only offered a small credit to try to make the issue go away after they acknowledged we were being improperly billed.
The review generation tool was completely broken for a while, and support ignored my team when we emailed them about it—this happened on more than one occasion for various issues.
I tried to get them with one of my developers to better integrate their service with our company via the API, so business profiles sync with information we collect when we onboard customers. They set us up with a new employee that couldn't answer any of my developer's questions and wrote down over 20 questions we had that he was going to follow up with answers. After the call, I never heard from him again. Of course, I still accrued expenses for this meeting and having the developer work on the project, even though Synup wasted everyone's time and my money.
Go with a legitimate company. Synup overpromises and fails to deliver. When you reach out to support, if they don't completely ignore you, it takes days of going back and forth to fix something that should have worked correctly in the first place. Every single one of my requests to figure out how to export leads to my CRM has been ignored.
I was promised a refund of my last payment of $2,500 for us to part ways (after paying them tens of thousands of dollars), and they failed to follow through and are ignoring my emails.

We came over to Synup from two other tools that we used for social media management and location management with review monitoring. The team at Synup, from sales to support, have been great, assisting with our implementation, responsive to our requests, and readily available to help. We have been using the platform for about four months, and while there are things we’d like to see integrated into the platform, we can accomplish the tasks we require to service our clients, and Synup provides a good platform for these services. We’ve requested a few functionalities to be added to their roadmap for updates in 2025. The downside is that we’d like those now, but knowing they’re working on including them gives us hope. There were a few minor issues when it came to scheduling but mostly it was due to personal preference. Being able to create a social media post and then schedule it and move dates if needed just by clicking and dragging somewhere on the calendar was a nice feature from previous platforms we have used. Also, having to select the toggle from photo or video depending on what I was posting felt like an unnecessary step. If I was looking for a video to post but accidentally left the photo option toggled, then after searching for the video file in my folders, I would have to cancel out and flip the switch and go back in to find the file. We have been using Synup to effectively manage our listings information and our online reviews. Their customer support has been very helpful and available. We recently added Synup's pages app. Their team did an outstanding job with the design, matching our website's design. The app works smoothly and is a much more functional tool than our previous solution. Their team was responsive and worked with us to adjust and troubleshoot solutions to work with the limitations of our website. I value how simple it is to update and manage company entries across numerous directories because I work as a freelancer and oversee several clients. By enabling me to handle all of my local listings and client feedback in one location, the centralised dashboard saves me time. The review management function also makes it easy to track and reply to reviews, which helps my clients have a good online reputation.
The simplicity of use and the capability to rapidly update my company information across multiple directories from a single dashboard are what, in my opinion, distinguish Synup from other softwares.
